Update!!!
Whisper of the Heart is out today!!!

This is a heartwarming movie produced by Studio Ghibli about a girl who keeps on checking out books that have already been checked out by a boy named Seiji Amasawa.

It's the prequel to the already released The Cat Returns, so if you've seen that one- or if, like me, you haven't- you should definatly give this movie a chance. It is so adorable!

Nothing to say...
My life has been pretty boring lately. I'm considering turning this into an art blog because that way I can get off of my lazy but and actually draw something for once. Somehow I just haven't wanted to draw. Mostly it's because I somehow have regressed in my talent and I can't draw girls at all (I could before though), but I can still draw guys. We shall see...

I'm also trying to make a Death Note personality quiz, but I can't think of many questions for it. If anyone reads this and can suggest something, please do.

Now to try to draw... stuff. Good stuff. Hopefully.

Smells Like New Manga
I went to Book Stop today and got both Death Note Volume 5 and Fruits Basket Volume 13.

Fruits Basket continues in it's spreading of joy and happiness. It's really cute, and is good for fans of KyoxTohru. I was able to like Yuki a little bit more in this one, and what is with Kureno? He seems cool, but then he acts way too depressed for my tastes at times. Maybe he's bipolar?? Hmmm...

Many people told me that this volume was sad, but I didn't notice. For Momiji fans there are some insanely cute moments involving his little sister. She is one of the cutest characters ever... It's so cute when two members of a family stalk each other without either of them knowing, isn't it? =P

Death Note also continues with its own version of wonderfulness. Light has relinquished his ownership of the death note and is now much cuter.



There are quite a few funny moments in this one which makes this my hands-down favorite volume so far. I mean, how can you not love a volume of Death Note in which almost everyone tells Misa Amane to shut up at one point or another?

Random little fact for y'all, the infamous Chapter 58 is in Death Note Volume 7. I can't wait... *cackles*

   Howdy Y'all
I really need to go out and buy Fruits Basket vol. 13. The closest bookstore is about 15 minutes away, though...

This is kind of old news, but the song Dani California by RHCP has been chosen as the theme song for the live action Death Note movie. The news reports made it sound like the song was made for the movie... Am I the only one who thinks they have absolutely nothing to do with one another???

Oh! Mark your calendars. Death Note volume 5 is scheduled for release on May 2, 2006. That's 8 days!!!

So I guess I'll go to the bookstore on the 6th of May then :P
