Slaves?! Never!
I was creeping up to the camp, with adriel and his new gun-arm, that I built myself. Basically an arm that transforms into an SVD sniper rifle. so hes not COMPLETELY useless. But dont tell him I said that. I put him on the final hill toward the descent to the camp. I crouched and started waliking slightly hunched in my sneaking suit. Completely black with a black scarf, to cover up my face and to leave only my hair, to show as a signal light to adriel. I crawled under the gate and when I got up, the whole world came crashing down upon my head.


When I woke up I was bound to Adriel, Jess, and someone I didnt recognize. Two people actually, one a girl, and a man with a slight beard, buzzcut, and black hair. My head was killing me, and I couldnt remember any magic to free myself. I knew it, but couldnt say the words. I must have been drugged. Veronica strode in the room, clad in battle armor. I recognized her, But I couldnt believe it.

So, Snake. How does it feel to ride a slave ship to the bottom of Lake Asahari?

Tiring. Now let me go.

I looked at my clothes. They took our equipment, and we were wearing tattered clothes. Dirty and old. we were wearing our shoes still, though.. which means.. My knife..

I took the liberty of taking your knife holsters as well.

She even unscrewed Adriel's rifle arm. We were knocked out and chained to oars. The man with the beard stirred. I was tied to him on the oars. He stared at me as we rowed.

Man: ... Zack?

Man: you've forgotten me already?

Beau? No way..


Beau: I knew you'd remember me.

Beau is my brother, whom I havent seen in years, on the christmas I had my whole family together. Then that summer he left me for his girlfriend. I said she was a cling-on. He didnt believe me. Looks like hes fallen apart without me holding him up.

How could you?! Why did you leave?!

Beau: I'm sorry. I didnt realize how important family is. And learned that all girls can be crazy. Especially the high maintnence.

He handed me a tube that looked like a spoon. I cracked it open. My combat knife.

Beau: I stole it when we were being tied. I knew it would come in handy. You were always picking my locks to play my games and eat my snacks.

Yeah..

I sliced the ropes. I jammed the knife in the hole where the key goes. the chains cracked in half. It was a setup.

Well done, Snake. I knew your brother would have helped you.

Beau: You bitch!

(*flinches* Its not my fault!)

Hm. You may call me master.

She unclipped a pole-axe from her back and beat him with the butt of it. She also threw a steel plated headband and a hilt. The Saber! I had the headband too, which means.. I can get my motorcycle.. But thats a last resort. The buster was attached, and a couple clips were tossed to the other slaves. When she raised her staff to hit Beau again I jumped in front of him and put my hand out, and I absorbed the impact in my palm, but it didnt stop the spearhead from piercing my skin. I tied my hand to my back with my rope while she stood shocked, and put my blade in front of me. Beau leapt up and put his hand out in front of himself. A long, brodsword with engravings on the blade and a black and silver hilt, with a sapphire pommel.

Beau: Do not raise a BLADE to MY BROTHER!

suup? the Ome meet today was canceled, but we ran around the school campus. Drew twisted his ankle so he wont run for a while. Lucky. He says he doesnt want to miss CC, but I dont believe him. I can tell by his eyes that he was lying.
