Brink of Destruction
Yo! Beau here, Zack couldnt make it again. But he wanted me to tell you some things. Like his trip to Round1, for example. He says he played this game where he had a guitar, and his friend Drew, was on the drums. They played a variety of songs, including Rewrite, from Full metal Alchemist. He started playing guitar too. Maybe I'll pick up on that, and we, as brothers, can join in with Drew and his Brother to form a band. That would be interesting. Anyways, he also played a Ziods game where you're in a cockpit with two plane-style joysticks, fighting others. Apparently He and Drew battled each other and kicked drew's ass. Anyways, with the chapter. I'm the main character.


*opens eyes slowly* *yawn*

What a night. what happened?

Veronica: Well, after you and Ara made out, you jumped off the cliff edge and hit your head on some rocks. But your face was red and you were creaming 'YEAH!!' on the way down.

Ara: It was more of a KISS.

Her face was red.

Dad: Morning, children. How'd you sleep?

Zack: I slept well. *stretching*

I guess my head hurts a little but I'll be alright.

Ara: Don't worry, I jumped off after you did.

*looks*

Her hair stuck out under the bandages on her head.

Veronica: That was the funny part. She kinda just.. giggled on the way down. It was hilarious.

Wait a second.. I can only see out of one eye?

Dad: Yeah, on the way down, a rock stabbed you in the eye. So I made a custom eye for you. But it'll take a while to function, it the meantime, I gave you a cool eyepatch. It matched you black hair, but I gave you a black headband that covers the string up.

Eh..

Oh. I guess that reminds me. Dad, do you have those items we made?

Dad: Sure I do. But that can wait. Its breakfast time. I'll bring them to the table. In the meantime, get dressed, armor and all. Its time to strike back.

Ara: *pajamas* Uh. Right. *goes to a seperate room*

Veronica: *glances at zack, than follows behind*

Okay zack. I guess I got dibs on the pool.

Zack: Hell. I think we can use the same pool, we're guys, and theres more than enough room, and the water is cloudy, it doesnt matter.

No. Get dressed, I need to be alone.

Zack: Fine.. *pulls on his leggings and tunic, buttons it up, and straps on shoulder plates and sheath*

Zack: *straightens hair and wipes glasses* See you there. *goes to see Veronica*

*thinking*

Hmm.. I guess I should.

*pulls on his chained pants, and straps tunic and breastplate on*

*Splashes water on face, then leaves*

Ara is the Main character.


*buckles belt and begins to tie shoes*

Veronica: I'll meet you at the table.

Okay. Have fun with zack.

Veronica: I wi-- Er, I don't know what you're talking about.

I need a weapon. *has a sheath but no blade, lost it in skirmish will Veronica the first time*

*wears her sheath like Zack (for reference, see last few chapters)*

I guess I'm ready. Oh, my bag. I almost left it, I'll need it in the fight-- Where is it? I swear I.. I'll go ask everyone..

*runs out*

[IN THE CORNER]

*slight hazy shimmer, then a man in a black suit with thermal goggles fades it, and then dissapears*

[AT THE TABLE]

Hey guys, anyone seen my bag?

Beau: *looks up* I didn't know you had one on you. I didn't know you had a sheath either. Where's the blade?

*looks at Veronica*

Veronica: Hey I'm over it!

Dad: In case you havent noticed, theres foo don the table for you, next to Beau. He's eating a bit more carefully.

Oh. *sits down*

Dad: Ready everyone?

Everyone: Itadakimasu! (hope I got it right)

Dad: look down, Ara.

Ara: *sees a Falchion* Oh wow!

Dad: The black part, just under the edge, it made by hardening bone, then was painted with charcoal. Beau's Idea. The edge is titanium, coated with an acid touch, to break shields easier.

Beau: The ribbon on the hilt was my mothers. she used it to tie back her hair, but.. she wont need it anymore.

Dad: Shes dead. Died in that warp that made you switch bodies.

Speaking of which, I want mine back, Now.

Beau: I can help! Here, *picks her up, throws her at veronica, and then shouts something demonic*

They switched, but still have on the same clothes.

Unh.. My head.. I'm going to change. Veronica, come one. Ill be back. *grabs the Falchion and walks away*

{Main Character is Beau}

Wait a second.. Then I.. I kis-- AH ZACK, DO Y-YOU KNOW WHAT WE'VE DONE?!

Zack: Oh. My. God. We kissed each other's..

*the table explodes and everyone goes flying*

Zack: Oof! *slumps to the ground, unconcious*

Dad: *reverts to darkness*

Daemon: Much better, *as he moves toward the wall, does a flip and jumps off of it, doing another flip to recover*

*draws chain blade and hooks around a stalactite to stop*

Daemon: I'll tear you limb from limb. *spreads wings and bares fangs*

What the hell? Dad?!

???: I'm here for the boy. take him.

Many troops swarmed in to take Zack up, and they teleport away, leaving just one.

Daemon: *snarls*

*runs over to dad's side*
We'll take you out. Who are you anyways?

???: *removes mask*

E...E-Eric? Eric Pierce? You're taller.

Eric: Shut up. I'm here to save my friend. I'll take you out to do so.

Daemon: Not if I can help it! *lunges*

Eric: *draws a rapier, steps to the side, and cuts off one of Daemon's wings*

Daemon: ARGH! *roars*

[BACK IN THE CAVERN]

Ara: What was that? *pulls on glove*

Veronica: Let's check it out. *buttons collar*

[THE STONE TABLE]

Dad! No.. Why, Eric?

Eric: To apologize for hurting him.. Long ago.. *turns to face him*

*holds blade out straight*

Eric: Hah! Earn my respect first. *troops descend in to surround me*

*just stares, with an angry look*


*grabs one by the throat, stabs him in the gut, then throws hit into the cieling stalagmites, impaling him*

*extends blade to wrap around one's throat, and rips it back, slicing him to the bone*

*backflips onto one troop's shoulders and stabs him in the skull, and takes over his mind*

Soldier: *fires shotgun at an ally* *then blows his own brains out*

*jumps off and lands a kick to th chin of a soldir, breaking his neck*

When He finally lands on his feet, a dark mist clouds around him. His eyes are black with red pupils. Ara and Veronica arrive with weapons in hand, But are they too late?

Enjoy? Thought so. I want to talk to Ara about her manga. I'm not sure if she's drawn any lately.. Oh well. Drew's brother comes in tommorow, and my Bro is anxious to meet him. I'm going back to bed though, I'm sleeping in.
