News!
I found out esterday that the coach for the Cleveland Browns "resigned". About time! My dad said, and I agree, that the AFC said "Either quit or you're fired." I mean, you can't lose that many games and be coach for 5 years. I mean, c'mon! My dad says that if the Browns ever go to the Super Bowl, he'll get us all tickets. That'd be a site to see, for sure. Hey, anyone ever heard of Prince Genji? I'm reading a book on the author called "The Tale of Murasaki". It's really good, but some of the things in there make me uneasy. Like some o their religious practices and exorcisms. Kinda creepy. and a lot of people die due to illness, so it's kinda sad, but the book is well-written, and I'm learning a lot abuot writing styles through the book. she writes a lot of poems. Here, I'll show you one that I liked:
Kakikumori yuudatsu nami wo arakereba ukitaru fune zo shizugokoro naki
which means:
the clouds pile up darkly, waves rise up feircly in a sudden storm; I am like this floating boat, ill at ease.
There are a ton more that are Even more beautiful, but I don't want to go through and find them because I don't have the time. I'll put more of them periodically. The above one she wrote while she was on a boat to Echizen from Miyako because of her father's court position. this was a high honor, and...oh, I won't et into it, but if you want to know more, just tell me and I can tell you what you want to know. Oh, and, Murasaki grew up in the Hein Period, but I forget the year. ^_^
You'd be amazed at how much time one can gather after doing assignments in Computer Class. Ha!
