Aria
There is this manga. I t is called Aria. It is about this girl named Akari who lives on Aqua (former Mars after melting the ice caps) and lives in Neo-Venezia, which rezembles Venice, Italy. She is training to be an undine (the people who row those longs boats called gondolas) with the influence of her friends, she meets new people and trains to be the best undine ever, The year is 2031, and Earth is all computerized (hot springs were only in holograms and fireplaces did not exist.) so Akari is learning about all of the wonders of Aqua. The people on it live much like we live today, with a few exceptions, but basiclly the same. the art is BEAUTIFUL. here are some images I got off of the main site:
This is Akari and President Aria (the cat is the company mascot, every company has a cat) in her winter uniform.
This is Akari in her summer uniform, and the blonde woman is Miss Alicia, an admired professional undine who is Akari's instructor and roomate.
