Bad Week
Well, unfortunately I have bad news. My doggie, Autumn, is not going to get better. Apparently her kidneys have been damaged by all the kidney/urinary tract infections she's had over the years and they are slowly failing. Eventually she should refuse to eat and become sick. At that point we will have to put her down. :(.. Until then we have to feed her a special low protein, low salt diet that is easier on her body to keep her feeeling good as long as possible. The scary part for me is that we don't know how long she has. Although personally I'm hoping for later rather then sooner. So for now it's a waiting game and the best we can do is encourage her to eat the stuff that's good for her and give her lots of love.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
The heat has retunred! We're all going to fry! Yep, it got up to near 90 with the heat index over 90 today. It was sooooooooo hot! I thought I was going to bake whenever I went outside. I can't stand all this heat.

In other news my dog is still sick. This time it's her eyes. Apparently the pressure is too low cauing them to leak all this thick yellow goop. So now we have to give her eyedrops three times a day. Fun . . .

Anyone notice the new countdown I posted in my opening. It's counting down to the start of school for me. blah! I don't want to go back. On the upside I will be a junior this year which means I be one of the big kids. Which is ironc because I'm short. . . Ah well. I'll sill be one of the big kids who scare the Freshmen (not including my sis Dog Demon)so I guess it will be worth it.

Huston the Van is Dead . . .
I promised I would post if I had news and news I have.

On Tuesday afternoon my mom's van broke down while she was trying to give my sister and I a ride to the pool. The transmission is dead and it's either a costly repair or junk it and buy a new one.

We've had our van for 12 years now so we couldn't get much if we bothered to repair it so my parents are thinking of buying a new van to replace it.

They're looking at either a Honda Odyssey, a Toyota Sedona or a Mazda 5. My mom and sister want the Honda, I like the Toyota and my dad's more concerned about the money that we're going to have to spend. Sigh . . .

Fried Zucchini
We had our family wierd meal tonight, fried zucchini. It all started because the zucchini plants in our garden produced so many of them. So we battered them up and fried them in oil. It seems weird but is actually very good. I love it.

Well, my birthday is this friday and I've given up on getting my liscence by then. However I technically have until early August. I just hope I can get all my time in by then.

BTW: My family is coming over next weekend to celebrate! Akkk! Attack of the demon cousins! lol! I love them all but they can be crazy when they want to!

Remember when I was talking about the bug invasion at my house? Well, it never completely went away and since the end of school the bugs have been making a come back. The ants have joined in too so we have bugs in all sorts of places one doesn't want to find them. I really hope we can kill them all without having to go to extream measures.

Well, the 4th was wet, wet, wet! Thankfully we still had fireworks and they were great!

Tonight we're having neighborhood ice creme social. Yum! My dad will be serving as usually and his rootbeer floats are the best! I can't wait!

Bikes, Hats and Dog Pills
Well, this week has been full of new experiences for me.

On Firday morning I got up early and went on a long bike ride with my dag, sister and 3 of my dad's coworkers. Apparently this had been a preplanned thing so the rout was already more. There was supposed to be more people but it was raining lightly off and on so not many showed up. We rode all the way to Panera bread in Downtown Dayton. There we got something to eat and then rode back to our car. I had a goodtime despite getting wet alothough my bottom is still sore from the bike seat!

Yesterday I had to mow the yard in the blazing summer heat. Okay so It was on 78 but with the sun so strong it sure felt a lot warmer. For some reason I became obsessed with the hat I wore while I was out there to protect was eyes and kept it on all day. I am so strange . . .

Finally, Dog pills . . . My dad left on a buisness trip to Denver Colorado this evening and he won't be back unitl Friday. Unfortunatley our dog Autumn has been sick and is taking anitbiotics twice a day to help her get better. This was my dad's job because he feeds her breakfast and dinner, but now he can't do it. So luckly me I now have to give Autumn the medicine. Let me say this, it's not very plesent. . .
