Father's Day . . . and the count down . . .
Yup, today is Father's Day!

In honor of this occasion my family and I had lunch yesterday at my Grandpa's favorite restraunt, Giovanni's, to celebrate with my mom's side. It's an italian restraunt with some great cuisine I must say. We always get several large pizza's and pig out. Afterward we went to my aunt and uncle's house to hang out. Today we went to my aunt's bofriend's hous to celebrate with my dad's side of the family. So there was more hanging out and great food to eat including my dad's lemon-lime pie and my grandma's rhubarb pie! Yum! Of course now I'm way over stuffed and recoil at the thought of food . . .

For my dad we bought a Star Wars 3-d puzzle of the Millennium Falcon, a pin that looks like the Star Treck communication badge and a Dilbert book on buisness management. he hasn't opened his presents yet but I assume that will happen later this evening.

As for the countdown, it is offically one month and 3 days unitl my seventeenth b-day! Yea!(Figure out when it is, I dare you!) I can't believe it to be honest. I don't feel like I'm almost seventeen nor do I think I look like I am. However the calender says seventeen so it must be true . . .

Unfortunately for me that means I'm running out of time to get my liscence. If I don't I'm going to have to renew my temps for another year in early August and my pride won't let me do that. So I'm going to have to crack down and put in some hours behind the wheel before I run out of time.

Burrrrrrrr!
I don't know what's with the weather where I live. It's been cold (50s), wet and rainy all day. Such strang conditions for early June. Certainly puts a damper on any out door activities. I'll say that.

So far the start of summer vacation has been quiet. I've sat around alot and tried to finish reading Memoirs of a Geisha so I can start on the huge stack of libarary books I have to read. Yes, I know I like the local library too much, what can I say?

Well, I got to go. My dad went to get dinner and he should be home soon . . .

In other news scool ends at 1:30 Wednesday! Whoot! I can't wait! Just wish I could get there without braving the horror of final exams next week. Yeah, that would be real nice. . . Wish me luck!

Superbuilder!
I've spent all day building a bookshelf for English. I know that sounds weird but it was for a project. The assignment was to do something we've bever done before. I still ahve to finsh sanding it and then stain it. Thankfully I don't have to have it done. *grins*

I still have all my other junk that's do monday, research and the like, plus I have to help my sister make a video with a classmate for Spanish.

Tomorrow will be a long day . . .Wish we luck! I'll need it!

Arg! My teachers think I have nothing better to do but work on homework! I've got two big English projects, plus math homework.

I went to two parties this weekend. One was for my cousin. The other was for my dad and grandma's b-day/ mothers day. Now I'm going to have to spend all day working on homework tommarrow. Sigh . . .

I Feel Good!
Today has been a good day for me! Why, well, I'm not quite sure since I've worked most of the day. I guess I'm just feeling good about getting stuff done.

I actually cleaned my room for the first time in ages! The amount of dush in there should be illegal! Thankfully it is now cleaned and dust free. Let's just hope I keep it that way.

I also cut the grass and read the latest edition of Shojo Beat. All in all busy but a good day. Maybe there is something to this reward for work well done thing . . . na . . .

When the Chicken Says Run . . . Scream!
I'm sorry about being so weird sounding in my last post I was feeling a little spastic at the time . . .

My sunburn is better now for those who were wondering. I guess I'll have to start using my brain and apply suncreen 2x while I'm out in the sun to prevent repeats of this latest incident. (I must say having your scalp sunbruned is NOT fun.)

In other news I have survived yet another week of school. Yea! I've got a huge presentation due next week that I have to look foreword to. Blah! I'll porbably have to go in early since one of my teammates won't be there on our presentation day. Sigh . . .

On the positive side I got a new computer. (Well, technically it's my parents but I'm the main user)I've already moved all my stuff onto it andset it up with an anime bg + sceen saver. *dances arond*

Footbal, Sunburn and Chinese Food
Well, if you bothered to read the title, that's pretty much how my day went.

I went to the Ohio State Footbal Spring Scrimage game today with my family. It was soooo hot. I could barely concentrate on the game. All I could think was so hot, need water. Of course with all that sun I got sunbruned. Ouch! After the game we ate Chinese for dinner! Yum!
