Lemme see: so far this week, a billion great things has happened: My anime hating mother cracked a joke about Yu Gi Oh, I saw Howl's Moving Castle, I got to verbally beat up my worst enemy, I've converted half my class into Otaku fledglings, become a walking manga library, been allowed (finally) to hold a costume halloween party and, best of all, I've LEARNED TO KNIT!!!
Firstly, my anti-anime paernt: Well, I was standing at the bus stop with my mum and my brother, waiting for my school bus to come. The road we waitnext to is very busy, so there are a lot of things going up and down it
One thing in particukar: a clue van with "Millenium Rods" written on the side and front. My mum pointed it out, and, couldn't stop laughing for AGES...I mean, she found it more funny then ME. And she point blanc hates Yu Gi Oh.
Howl's moving castle was AWESOME!!! I have to say, Howl was one pretty little thang, but my favourite character was Calcifer: He was uber cute, and very fun. I lurved him! The movie itself was quite an eyeful: the way the castle moved was amazing, and so realistic. But what else do you expect from Hayao Miyazaki? It was defintely as good as, if not better, than Spirited Away. I shall not give away the fantastic plot: I don't wanna spil it for anyone that hasn't seen it.
Well, y'know I've been put into a new class this year? Well, Several of the people in this wonderful class are into Anime! Everyone trades Manga and stuff, and I've got loads of non-anime liking peoples (most likely because of the poop dubs) majorly into it: the only manga of mine that remain in my possession are Yu Gi Oh volumes 1 and 2...
I also managed to get hold of Fake, volumes 1 and 2. I really enjoyed 'em, despite the fact that you are kept waiting for all the proper yaoi stuff until volume 7 >.< Ah well, I cam wait ^^
I also borrowed a manga called Desire. It was quite Graphic, and I almost got caught reading it several times: one of my teachers even took it off me, flicked through it, smiled, then put it back down. Weird, huh?
Yay! I be here once again to report on my weekly life-ness and be completely random!
Yeah, I would normally say that there has been nothing going on in my life, or that there's been so much going on I think my head is going to explode, but for once I'm somewhere inbetween. The school routine has finally become fixed, especially the buses and what not...
As for homework and school, I'm actually doing it at home, rather than on the bus or at school. I have, however, forgotten nearly all my books at least once, my lab coat and my phone one day (lucky for me it wasn't needed @_@). The workload is relatively low, but when we get a big task to do, it's a BIG task. For example, German, Religious Studies and English have all set common assessments (like exams, but for homework and not at all like a test format thing), and each of them has taken at least two hours.
Although, German homework was pretty fun: we go to make up a family and describe their personalities and what they look like. All done as a huge poster, in my case.
What I find wuite amusing is that the German teacher didn't hapen to notice that most of my family were characters from Yu Gi Oh, and that the "woman's" point of view it happened to be written from was Seto Kaiba's (it wasn't hard finding a picture of him looking girly), and that "she" was married to none other than Jonouchi Katsuya. They had Yugi as a cousin, Kisara as a daughter and Anzu as an annoying stepsister...
My new class is fantastic: I have already converted several of them into fledgling Otakus by turning myself into a walking manga library complete with a DVD section. I have all four volumes of my Tokyo Mew mew lot out on loan, not to mention three of Love Hina, One of Gravitation and One of Yu Gi Oh.
I have also befreinded a Pervy Monk Miroku (Inuyasha) Fangirl, a Super Saiyan obssessive Goku (dangerously) rabid fangirl and several other people who, like me, can name all 150 original (and best) pokemon...
Also, a reminder to everyone to wish Seto Kaiba a happy Birthday on October the 25th!
Oh, in cosplaying news, my Kaiba cosplay is well under way: I have made the trench coat (minus the lining). I also got a deualdisk mega cheap, and my brother is lending me his cards to fill my silver briefcase with. I've even constructed a killer Blue eyes white dragon deck. Yeah!
The Drak Chii costume is DONE!!! I shall post some pictures up when I get the wig in the post...
The Zakuro Costume is bootless for the moment, not to mention ear and tail-less, but it is on its way.
I'm also doing Ryuichi Sakum from Gravitation, complete with Kumagoro Plushie!!!
Yes, hello there! I am back once more with a new and spiffy site, complete with a new AMV!
For those of you who don't know the killers, they really are an awesome band, and you need their music in your life. The song on the AMV has to be one of my favourites.
In other news, I am back at school. My homework habits have improved somewhat from last year, and I have managed to do at least 80% of my homework at home.
In the anime department, I've been watching a lot of FMA and Chobits recently. I have to say, I love them both very much. I'm hoping to get a hold of some Gravitation subbed stuff soon ^^
I've also been raeding an awful lot of fanfiction. I'm having major artists block, both for drawing and writing, and so I have not done anything but look at other's work.
However, I ahve thouroughly enjoyed my time off fanworks: I was up for three hours last night laughing until I cried becuase of this particularly fantastic yaoi yu gi oh fic :
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1873209/1/
I've laughed, cried, screamed, gasped and been extremely surprised by what I can find while looking up pictures of dark chii on google...
I highly reccomend this, although I warn you that it does get quite mature later on (that being the reason it is more yaoi than shonen ai). It is rated M, after all...
Well, 'tis all from me!
See y'all later!
P.S: I shall be updating at least weekly from now on! Tata!
Yay! I posted for the first time this summer ^^ I can't belive I haven't already...I mean, yeah, I've tried, but every time I did I would get sidetracked or kicked off the computer.
Well whatever, I'm here now =^o^=
Since my last post I've been abroad (To Greece), and that's all really. I spent most of my holiday either shopping, sewing (more about that later ^^), eating or just messing around on the computer.
The best thing about my summer hols has been the fact that I conquered the Sewing Machine! I figured out how to use the darn thing at last, and with incredible ease. Still, that was after I broke it (costing me £60 for the repair O.o) and spent ages trying to figure out how not to sew my finger to the material.
As for what I made, Its a rather cheapo version of Kaiba's Battle City outfit (the Trench Coat). I am yet to line it, but I have everything else but the belts finished, so I shall be putting pictures on here soon!
I also managed to get hold of a half price Duel Disk (Normally they cost around £30, but I got one for £16.50, but I still only piad £8.25 because I bought it in conjunction with my brother ^^).
The costume is for Minami Con next March, and I also plan to be Cosplaying as Dark Chii (Chobits), Zakuro Fujiwara (Tokyo Mew Mew), Motoko Aoyoma (Love Hina) and (Maybe) Ryuichi Sakuma from Gravitation.
Well that's it from me...
Oh yeah, I will be re-doing this rather dull place soon...Complete with a new and rather odd AMV...

Well hello there everyone! I'm writing to you from the Greek island of Crete on a greek keyboard (I'm only able to type this because I can touch type and these greek keyboards are the same format as English ones which is very lucky, or this would all be complete nonsense)so please excuse all of the spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors ^_^
Anyways, I'm having a good summer. How about you lot? I suppose some people may be back at school, but for those that aren't, hope you are having a nice summer ^^ (and for those that are, a nice time at school, if that's possible).
Hmmm...so, what have I done? Well, nothing much: eat, sleep, swim, attempt to play darts and volleyball despite my lack of hand eye coordination and upper body strength. That and it can get up to Forty degrees (celcius) over here, even though we get a nice breeze from the sea. It gets worse inland though, so I should count myself lucky.
There's loads of nice shops here. I would buy you all presents, but I don't know where you live (that and I haven't got a Euro to my name).
I haven't seen much anime over here, except for some hilarious fake Yu Gi Oh action figures, whihc are painted all wrong, yet manage to look like the characters anyway. But they don't have a Kaiba one, so I'm not buying -_-"
I did meet a girl who had about ten episodes of Dragonball on her phone, which we watched for a little while befores we went to get an ice cream...well, I didn't, but I stuck my head in the freezer, which was just as good.
Anyways, my brother wants a go on the computer (Five euros an hour O.O), so I should be getting off now...
But I won't, 'cause I'm a meany XP
Oh, just one more thing: I'm going to Minami Con 12 in March next year which shall be fun. I might even cosplay as Kaiba, but that's if I ever bother making the costume (got the patterns and stuff, just need fake leather and a duel disk...maybe some belts and stuff...). If not I'll just put on my kitty ears and a tail...
Omigosh O.O I have branhced out into another section of anime fan works: AMVs!!! I finally figured out how to use Windows Movie Maker, so I decided I'd give it a go ^^ I used episode 214 (the one where Kisara Dies *sob* That was soooo sad...) of Pharoah's Memories. I chose the song as it's about Memories and the past and things like that, so it kinda fits in with the episode. Only took me two hours ^^:;
Speaking of episodes, I've been watching loads of Japanese Yu Gi Oh (My second ever non-dubbed anime ^^ Woohoo!). The voices all seem to fit. That is except for Yami Bakura, who sounds little girly. Still, all the voices aren't anywhere near as annoying as the voices in the dub.
Well, all of that happened yesterday, which was very overwhelming (O.o) and caused me much hyperactivity ^^
Then, out of the blue, this morning I decided to start on a Seto Kaiba Cosplay outfit. I mean, I've already got the belts and buckles, the top, the trousers, the shoes, the deck, the hair, the eyes (I share his eye and hair colour ^^ Cool, ne?) the intellignece (Nyehehe...or at least I can act like I do ^^:;) and the attitude (or at least the ability to pretend I do...again...) so all I needed was a trench coat, a briefcase and a duel disk, which is actually quite a lot O.o So, I started off big: the trench coat. Now, where on earth was I going to find a fitted white trench coat with red lining, no sleeves, huge shoudlers, bolts, a logo and a sticky out bit at the bottom? Nowhere, of course, so I decided I was going to find a second hand one and customise it. This brought me to a couple of charity shops, where I found no trench coats. I did, however, find a very nice hot-pink Kimono dress thing with golden cherry blossoms on it ^^ I was very happy.
Nonetheless, my trench coat search continued: to no avail. That is, until, I came to a huge departement store. I went downstairs to the craft department where they have all the sewing equipment and wool and fabric and stuff. They also have loads of catalogues with lots of patterns for clothes in them. I hada flick through, and found a trench coat pattern! Yay1 It even had a huge sticky up collar and a sticky out part at the back. Now for the hard parts: finding the materials and making it. Ah well, I will take pictures of the finsihed product (if I ever get there) and keep updating my progress...
The spaces between my posts are gradually becoming longer and longer: however, my visits to your sites are becoming more frequent, although I only go to sites that have ben updated the days that I check (which isn't great, I'll admit, but it's better than nothing). Considering it is now summer break for me (six weeks until school! I can't wait...), I shall have a lot of free time on my hands, so therefore I will be here a lot more often than I am at the moment.
I am going away for two weeks (I'll tell you when nearer the time ^^) to Crete. Hopefully the hotel will ahve internet access, so I shou eb able to do a mid-holiday update if I can beg my parents to give me some change e_e Internet access is real expensive...
Anyways, lik I said, I'm out of school for a good six weeks, which Is good and bad...
Good: No homework, no schoolwork, much more free time, no evil bitches/ teachers/ smelly toilets and most importantly, I don't ahve to wear uniform ^^
Bad: No friends (well, not many anyway), no nice school food (O.o?), no bus (I love my bus! The 882 is teh best bus in teh whole wide woooorld!)...bleh...but that's it really...
Gosh...for absolutely no reason, everybody was crying on our last day: I mean, we're gonna see each other again next year (we aren't even leaving). People who cry annoy me: even with good reason. I just get so irritated...Neraly yeleld at some of my friends that day...Of course, it's cute when anime peoples cry ^_~
I'm enjoying Gravitation at the moment: I'm only on number 5 though! I wish I had the rest of 'em >.< Yuki is so sweet when he's asleep (and when he cries ^^ I knoe it's evil)! And I almost started yelling at the book when poor little Shu-kun got Gang banged by ASK and Co. That bit pissd me off for the entire week...
Also enjoying Love Hina, but am finding it hard to concentrate at the moment...
I've also drawn some *ahem* pictures, which I will post up as soon as I can do it without disturbance...I'm not sure anyone in my house would apporve of them...
Wow ^^ I'm getting back into the habit of updating at last weekly now, instead of two monthly. That and I'm getting back into visiting sites...
The reaosn I was so negligent of MO before was mostly school: Recently they have been cracking down on homework, mess left in the locker room, changing rooms, form rooms etc...And with the added pressure of Exam week and the few that followed of marking and finding out results (not to mention several large blips on reports), both teachers and students were pretty stressd out. Well, all that was over, but then, being the ambitious person I am, just had to go and audition for the school play. I wasn't expecting to get in, as nearly the entire lower school audtioned for parts. I didn't get an acting part, but I did get the part of a dancer, and I get to die twice (burned once, then just randomly collapsing on stage).
The dances are reasonably okay: I had to do this really odd tribal dance (which I get burned at the stake for @_@) which is so uber embarrassing for the five of us doing it. Luckily, we get to wear masks so nobody will recognise us.Then we have to do a Morris dance >.< For those of you who know what morris dancing is, you'll know why I'm beggining to regret getting the part. But despite that, we do an awesome Bhangra dance with gymnastics and everything. 'Tis very cool!
The play itself is based on some short story by Edgar Allen Poe (who does disturbing horror stories ^^ My personal faveourite genre) about the plague in a village.
There is an evil prince called Prospero who neglects his people, and leaves them to die of hunger and thirst. One day, after Prospero and his procession come throught the town, a mysterious Red Man with a hidden face comes to the village, and kills the villagers by means of the Red Death (a.k.a The Plague). Upon finding out about this plague, Prospero invites all of his rich and powerfulf friends to his catsle, and locks them all in the protect them from harm. They have food and entertainment (which includes our dances, a juggler and some random chorus), and a masquerade(sp?) which they are not allowed to wear red to. However, some idiot lets a girl and her associate in, desperate to find some good entertainment that will please the prince. Unbeknown to him, the Girl's associate is in fact the Red Death, and the girl has offered herself as a sacrifice to save the village from the plague.
So, after the entertainment of the Masquerade ball, the girl and red death eneter, wearing red, which prospero has forbidden them from doing. The Girl does some Ballet dance, then the Red Death gets to killing all the people in the castle.
For our finale, everyopne rises up and wanders very zombie liek out of the hall. It looks very creepy from the audience...
Anyways, it's not actually very interesting to watch apart from the odd bit or two. The Red Death has some very long monologues to say, and they say them painfully slowly >.<
I'm NEVER auditioning for a play again though: I've had rehearsals evrey night for Two hours for the past two and a half weeks.
Well, nothing much else interesting happening in my life at the moment. I still haven't finished my new manga >.<
