Comment Column
Please excuse the comment column. I had to post some English notes and a few journal writings that I need to finish and I tried to delete them, but there is no "delete post" on this site. I would have sent them through the school e-mail system, but our glorious admin has a fickle taste for that. Check this, we're able to access it in one classroom, but not from another. She's crazy. Oh well. Roll with the changes as they say.
In other news, I am now registered for Mechacon in Louisiana and am beginning to make the first costume which will also be used in a play. I'm going as Sakura from both CCS and TRC. It will be really cool. TTFN

Cotillion practice
Can you believe it? The only dance that we get to dress up for and the escort that I get stuck with has a tongue ring(no offense to others who do have them of course) and has no idea that he's supposed to be a gentleman on the practice dates as well as on the real night.
The guy that I share the waltz with is ok. He was clumsy at first, but we both swore to one another that we'd make it work. We ended up sincerely trusting one another by the end of the hour and a half. He's really good once he gets going.
Cotillion is like a senior prom but with the entire school there. It's really cool. The girls are addressed as "princess" and the boys as "prince".
I'm stoked for another reason despite the events of the morning. My birthday is coming up and I'm having my "big birthday". I'm finally going to go to the clubs in my area and get in leagally. I've never gone illegally, but I have been sorely tempted.
Well, have a good day everyone, and may your ancestors protect you.

English project script: Koritenshi- Adventures in Magic
Koritenshi
Adventures in Magic
need to know symbols: (-) new box, (=) new character, (%) thought bubble, (*) suggested action, ([]) said somewhere in the back or lighter and at the same time as another character
Narrative by Hikari
-Hi. My name is Sora Hikari. I'm an only child in a three person family.
-My parents are rarely home enough to know of my recent developments.
-What I mean by "developments" is magic. Literally.
-Only two weeks ago, I got mad at a guy at school and literally froze him in place.
-Since then, I learned that I can transform into different clothes and make different things having to do with ice.
-My best friend, Chujitsu Tomodachi, is the only person who knows about my powers. I've trusted her since I was young and will continue to do so.
-Oh yeah. This is my boyfriend, Shinjetsu Kare. We've been together for a little more than a year now. I really don't want to tell him about my powers.
-I am a senior at Hataori High in the Osaka district of Japan.
=Tomodachi: *calling from outside* Hikari-chan, you're going to be late for school.
=Hikari: Hoeee! *throws open the window* Coming Tomodachi-chan.
*Hikari runs down the stairs and out the door. Give glimpses of classes.*
-My classes are like any other seventeen year old's, hard. Biology, Japanese, Music, and Abstract Art 1. The latter two are the two I stink at. The first two are awesome. Good teachers.
*BBRRRIING*
=Hikari:% Lunch time.%
=Kare: Ohayo gozaimasu, Hikari-chan and Tomodachi-chan. How are you today?
=Hikari [and Tomodachi]: Ohayo Kare-kun. I'm fine. How are you? [Fine thank you.]
=Kare: Great. Did you hear what happened last night?
=Hikari and Tomodachi: No, but spill it.
*Look at each other and giggle*
=Kare:*giggling himself then turning grave* Takashi-kun of 3-2 was found dead this morning. They say he was burnt to a crisp as if by flames.
*Hikari and Tomodachi stare at him, eyes and mouths wide open*
=Hikari: No way! Poor Takashi-kun.
=Tomodachi: why Takashi-kun, though? It's not like he was rich or anything.
=Kare: Some are saying that it's a family curse.
=Hikari and Tomodachi: What!?
=Kare: Yeah. They said that he found some secret family tree that showed a royal lineage.
=Tomodachi:*whispering to Hikari* I wonder if your powers may have a bad side in Takashi-kun's murderer?
=Kare: What are you two whispering about?
=Tomodachi: Nothing. Just about how harrowing that must have been for his parents to see.
=Hikari: Hey Kare-kun, would you excuse us for a second, please? No touching the bentos. We'll be right back.
*They run off to the ladie's bathrooms and proceed to discuss the problem.*
=Tomodachi: How is it that every time I want to believe that the concept of yin and yang doesn't exist, something happens to show me that it is?
=Hikari: I don't know. Something about the idea of ice facing off against fire gives me a bad vibe.
=Tomodachi: Fire beats ice most of the time. Do you think your powers are up to the challenge?
=Hikari: *looking determined* I guess we'll find out once the murdering sorcerer shows his face.
=Tomodachi: How do we know it's even a sorcerer?
=Hikari: I just know.
*dots as both of them stare at the ground thinking of the problem in front of them.*
=Tomodachi: We'd better get back to our bentos before Kare-kun has a chance to eat them.
=Hikari: After I eat, I'll go to the library to check on "lineages." Maybe I am the intended target.
=Tomodachi: Right!!
*Scene change to Hataori High Library. Hikari is typing away at a computer. She finally sits back in shock. She clicks between two pages with one name highlighted: Nakushita Oken. Enter Tomodachi.*
=Tomodachi: Well? Any luck?
=Hikari: Yeah. Takashi-kun and I were related.
=Tomodachi: Really? How far back and by who?
=Hikari: Third cousins by the emporer that ruled twenty-eight years ago.
=Tomodachi: NO WAY!!
=Hikari: Yes.I wonder whether my father knows about this. It is on his side.
=Tomodachi: That's odd. Your father never spoke of an uncle or aunt in your family.
*A shadowed figure appears in Hikari's peripheral vision.*
=Hikari:*turning around while getting up* We're being watched! Someone's on the roof.
=Tomodachi: *looking at Hikari with a knowing smile* I'll cover for you. Go after it.
*Hikari nods and begins to transform*
=Hikari: Powers of light and ice, assist me now. Lend me your powers so that I may purge the powers of darkness from this world. Let me become Koritenshi.
*Ice forms a bubble chamber around her and light fills the room. She reappears in a blue dress with shimmering light yellow linings. She also carries a blue staff in her hand. The staff itself has rays in the center of a circle (which serves as the magical medium) and a yellow ring just above a saphire cone. She jumps to a ledge where the cieling meets the skylights of the library meet the roof and phases through them.*
=Tomodachi: Good luck, Koritenshi.
*Scene switch to the fenced in roof of Hataori High. A mere boy according to his height, but his stance revealed that he was much older. Koritenshi takes a defensive position.*
=Koritenshi: Show yourself and state your purpose of hunting us down like this?
=Jigokuhi: *placidly* So you finally found out who you are.
=Koritenshi: Yeah. What of it?
=Jigokuhi: Why princess, are you forgetting your manners?
=Koritenshi: Who are you? You obviously know who I am.
=Jigokuhi: I am Jigokuhi. I have been watching you, Koritenshi-hime, for some time now. But now that you know who you are, I have to kill you.
=Koritenshi: HOEEE!!! Why kill? * Stops to think* You’re the type that relishes the thrill of stalking and killing.
=Jigokuhi: Yes my pet. I do. My lair is nothing but a drawing board and kitchen. But I’ve dawdled too long already. Good-bye Koritenshi-hime.
*He twists his staff in a circular motion then slams it down on the roof. He says an incantation to himself and a beam of light shoots toward Koritenshi.*
=Koritenshi: *with a surrounding twirl of her staff, shouts* Surround and protect me, Ice Sheild!! *she jams her staff into the roof and the shield forms just in time to deflect a power shot*
=Jigokuhi: Well, a fine spell princess, to be sure. Takashi-kun didn’t put up a fight at all.

CCS fanfics
Even as we speak, I am writing a fanfiction on CCS based off of another's characters. If you people would be so kind as to go to http://wishluv.revolutionhosting.net/newtrails.htm
and read the fictions there, you'd begin to understand where this one is out of.
Here's the beginning of mine.
Chapter 1
Syaoran and Sakura were in the kitchen for most of the night playing around while doing the dishes. They enjoyed living under the same roof even if there was little privacy. Sakura enjoyed the little times like these that caused laughter to ring throughout the apartment complex. Syaoran enjoyed seeing Sakura so happy and healthy. Both of them enjoyed the little things like breakfast that made their lives so sweet. Syaoran had a fun time setting the clocks ahead an hour so that they would go to bed on time and make it to school with plenty of time to spare. This was a good thing for Sakura who would make several trips a night into Syaoran’s room to do research on the dark forces in order to get the upper hand on the riddle and wave. Just recently, Sakura had sealed the Riddle and stayed up to study about the Wave. There was so much to be done that it took every amount of energy they had to go to school and do the work. Tonight they decided to play and relax while they could. They’d gotten a call form Li Meilin just the other day saying that she’d be coming to Tomoeda for a little while. No one knew except the three close friends; Tomoyo, Sakura, and Syaoran.
When they were finished playing around, they sat in the living room and cooled off. Sakura had a few things to say about the night and voiced them. “Syaoran, when are we going to be able to be together with no interruptions?” Syaoran thought about the first time she’d asked that. It was when they were ten and had finally admitted their love for one another. He let out a small giggle and answered her softly,” When the elders get off my case. They hate the fact that we love one another.” “I guess they have a right to. Two magical beings falling in love and possibly rearing children would be a dangerous thing. Oh well. They’ll just have to live with our decision,” said Sakura. She thought about how many times that they’d talked about growing old together. The fear that she’d mentioned children grew inside her and almost came to a head when Syaoran said, “I wonder what our children will look and be like? The fact that we’re both magical would endow them with powers beyond what the normal magical person could hold. They’ll surpass us, you know.” Sakura thought about his words and how true they were. Their children would have the fully developed power of a Li, Amamiya, and Clow Reed embedded in the basic DNA structure. They’d really have to learn to control the power inside. “I know. It scares me to no end that when I have a child I might have to watch their development very closely. They’ll end up hating me if I do that. Much like I hate nii-chan,” said Sakura. Syaoran really was trying his best to keep the conversation out of reality’s grasp. He was still young and he wanted to live before the responsibility of children came along. So he decided to ask,” Sakura, when do you want to have kids? It’s a question that seems to fit into our little situation especially now at our age. Your mother was married at sixteen and you’re fifteen, so I felt that we needed to talk about it.” Sakura was in a state of shock. Was this really Syaoran? He’s actually asking about having children! I wonder if he has any bright ideas cooking in that air filled head of his. “I don’t know Syaoran. Definitely after I get married, but not before I’ve had the chance to bring the Chang twins to an understanding. The dark ones have to be out of the way in order to raise a family safely. Don’t you agree?” While she waited for him to answer, she saw one of his little playful glints in his eyes. Every once in a while it scared her. Syaoran broke the silence. “I agree about the Dark Ones being out of the way. It wouldn’t be safe for the kids to exist while they’re still out to harm us. Speaking of your brother, next time he calls you can I talk to him? I feel that I can never really bring myself to your father without your brother’s consent.” Sakura answered him in a very matter of fact way, “He calls about once every two weeks. The phone should ring about ……NOW!” The phone rang once and they picked it up together; one in the kitchen and the other in the living room. Syaoran was the first to answer, “Hello. Li residence. Syaoran speaking.” “Brat where is my sister? If you hurt her ….” Sakura couldn’t stifle a giggle. “Nii-chan, I’m all right. I came to dinner with Tomoyo-chan, Miho- chan, and Eriol-kun. We’re all here at Syaoran-kun’s and are completely safe.” “Kaijou, why aren’t you home during the day?” “Because I’m doing homework with friends at their homes. Is that alright with you?” Touya thought for a few seconds. “Alright. Sorry I got so worked up. Have fun and stay safe.” Syaoran jumped in immediately, “Hold on Touya-san. I have a question for you. Sakura, please get off. This is between your brother and me.” Sakura got off with a click, and Syaoran began. “Kinomoto Touya-san, I have admired your protectiveness with your sister, I have done my best to learn from your example to become a better person. Now I ask that we end our quarrels and live in peace as friends.” Syaoran held his breath for about five minutes. Finally, Touya answered, “Only if you say you’re sorry for the fire you started on my jacket five years ago.” Syaoran was relieved that it was going to be this easy. “That I can Touya-san. Thank you very much for being understanding. One more question though. What would you say to being brothers?” Touya laughed. It was a rare question and a foolish one at that. “Why do you ask kid? Do you mean to tell me that you want to marry my sister or would you consider adoption?” Syaoran was happy that Touya understood. “I mean to ask for your sister’s hand in marriage. I love her and never intend to leave her side.” Touya laughed. He’d never heard such a statement in all his life. “So you intend to marry my little sister and take her from my father and me?” Syaoran was having to find a quick and decent retort to Touya’s question. “I won’t take her from you. I’ll simply be moving her. She’ll still be in Tomoeda. I don’t intend to go back to Hong Kong. Please just give me your blessings.” Syaoran held his breath for a long time hoping to hear what he wanted to. Touya finally gave in with a simple, “Go on. Take her. She always admired you and kept her head in the clouds because of you. But if I hear that you’re hurting her, I’m going to be there in a heart beat.” Syaoran giggled at the last remark. “I’ll take good care of her. Either way I wouldn’t dream of hurting her. She’s too important to me, both as a friend and coworker. I’m telling you, Touya-san, I love her more than life itself. I’ve proven that to her and our friends here already. You’ve just never seen me in action that’s all. Well, have a good week Touya-san.” “Take care, Brat.”
Sakura walked up to Syaoran and asked, “What are you sorry for, and why didn’t you ask me about marrying you? This is something that I have to know about you know.” Syaoran held out his hands to her and welcomed a slap then a hug. “I know you want to know everything going on around you, but let me do this without you knowing ahead of time. I won’t be home until very late tomorrow, so don’t wait up. I’ll see you in the morning. Good night my love.” Sakura was about to scream at him for reading her mind again, but she could feel his heart beating in sync with hers as he held her close. It’s so difficult to stay mad at him for long. I cannot allow myself to say anything, but kind words. He was man enough to hold me down even after I slapped him. He loves me beyond all pain and hardship. She found herself being absorbed into his hug. I love the feeling of his arms around me. For at this moment, I feel safe. “I love you, Syaoran.”
They stayed like that for hours. He sat down on the couch after a while, and they fell asleep on one another. There was nothing that they were ashamed of when they woke up during the night. At that time it almost wasn’t worth the effort to separate. Sakura, who’d been quite happy, said out loud, “Syaoran, can we always stay like this? I’m so happy we’re together.” He answered her in a soft tone, “We can stay like this as long as you like. I wouldn’t want it any other way.” He kissed her hair and stroked her until they were asleep again.
When they woke up the next morning, they held on to one another as if they were glued as such. Sakura looked up to see Syaoran’s face and smiled. This was the first time that she was not afraid of being in his arms. Why am I so content now that we’re in a disgraceful position? I can barely stand to have him hold my hand in public for long. Yet I enjoy the feel of his arms around me, and his heart beating along with mine. Come to think about it, I don’t even want him to kiss me. Just being against him is fine. Syaoran made her look at him. She could see that he was about to cry. She had to ask, “Why are you crying, Syaoran? Am I hurting you? What???” He let a tear roll down his cheek and said, “It’s just that now I know that you are the only one for me. I’ve never been so happy. Yes, I did read your mind, and yes, I agree. Being here is worth it.” Sakura dried his tears and hugged him tight. He raised her head to look at him and kissed her passionately. It was a deeper form of communicating how much he loved her besides taking her out and giving her pretty things. He knew that love could not be bought, but there was no other way to show her how he felt. Within the next week he was going to make her his betrothed.
That morning she was late for school, but it didn’t matter. She’d had the best night of her life.
Meanwhile, Syaoran was on an ofuda flight to England where Kinomoto Fujitaka was giving his lectures. He approached Sakura’s father after the seminar, and introduced himself. “Good morning Kinomoto Fujitaka-san. I have a request that needs immediate attention. It’s about Sakura-chan.” “What is it? Is she hurt?” asked Fujitaka. Syaoran took a seat in the college commons, and had Fujitaka do the same. “No sir, I just want your permission to propose to Sakura. I’ve cleared it with her brother, and he said ‘okay’. Now I need your approval. I promise that no harm will ever come to her.” Fujitaka looked like he could have passed out. He did not expect to have this question asked of him so early, although he did expect it to come form this boy. He had to ask, “Syaoran-kun, why ask me this when you are only still a child yourself? Is so much riding on this answer that you flew all the way here for this?” Syaoran answered him, “Your daughter’s safety is at risk as long as she has no suitor. I don’t ask out of just that, but also because I have come to love her over the years. I would gladly give my life for her if the situation called for it. She raised me from hell with her kindness. All I want to do now is save her from hell’s temptation.” Fujitaka looked puzzled and asked, “Why do you make it sound like she’s in danger?” Syaoran had to choose his words wisely. If I let the secret slip, Sakura will lose her powers. Her father has no idea about how much danger she’s in, because he doesn’t know about the Dark Ones. “Let’s just say that she has a stalker that has beaten her until she was black and blue before. She trusts that he’s good inside, but forgets past offenses easily. He’s in our class, so she’s in constant danger. Fair enough explanation for you, sir?” Fujitaka was in awe at how much Syaoran had revealed to him. If Sakura was in danger, why didn’t she call him? “Obviously you’ve been protecting her all along. You’ve done a great job, and so I give you her hand. If she agrees to your proposal, do call me. I’ll start arranging the wedding.” Syaoran got down on his knees and bowed to his father-in-law–to-be. “Thank you sir. You won’t have to worry about a wedding any time soon. We want to finish school. Maybe when we graduate to high school. That will give us all nine months to work at the wedding. Again thank you. I must go now. The longer she’s alone, the faster she tends to get into trouble. Sayonara Fujitaka-sama.” Syaoran ran out of the building and sped back to Japan.
Sakura was waiting at the school gates for Tomoyo when Syaoran ran up behind her. As usual he scared her. “Syaoran, where have you been all day? I was getting worried.” He was out of breath and more hyper than she’d ever seen him. “How about we discuss it over dinner at the five star restaurant in Tokyo? My treat.” Sakura couldn’t refuse. “Alright.”
That night Tomoyo came over with a special dress for Sakura to wear. It was a lavender gown with sequins on the neckline and straps. Of course she’d also made a matching set of hairpieces. When Sakura came out, Syaoran had to sit down for a while. To say the least, he thought her stunning. The color accentuated her eyes well, and the design fit her form like a glove. She looked like she belonged in the palaces of fairy tales. “You look …marvelous,” Syaoran said breathlessly. It was rare that Tomoyo ever dressed Sakura in something normal. Sakura blushed and replied, “Thank you. Are we ready to go?” “Yes. Our reservations are at eight, so we’d better hurry.” Sakura was thinking about transportation. “You know what would be cute? We could use the Unicorn to get there. That’s alright with you isn’t it?” Syaoran smiled and answered, “That would be fine.” How considerate of Sakura. She’s always thinking of ways to lighten my load. One more reason to do this.
When they got to the restaurant, they were seated at the table with the best view. They made small talk, and ate to their hearts content. It was the best time that they’d spent together in a while. He decided to give her the ring when she started daydreaming. She began that near the end of their stay, and he made short order of preparing his little speech. “Sakura, there’s something I have to tell you. But first, do you remember our little chat last night about being together forever?” Sakura was still only half listening to him and answered, “Yes. What about it?” He shifted uneasily. “Well, I’ve been thinking about what you said, and you were right. It would be better. So now I ask you,” he said as he took out the box and opened it below the table, “will you make our lives happier by becoming my wife and lifelong partner?” He removed the ring and placed it on her finger after dropping to one knee. “Please say yes. I don’t think I can take the rejection.” Sakura was smiling from the shock at the way he’d eloquently put the proposal. When she regained her voice she almost screamed, “Yes Syaoran. I will marry you.” He got up and hugged her tight. “Thank you, Sakura. You’ve just made me the happiest man alive.” He twirled her around and held her for a little while longer.
When he finally loosened his arms, Sakura looked up at him and said, “I am yours until time meets its end.” Syaoran gazed back at her and said, “My dearest Sakura, I am yours for longer than forever. Take me with you when time ends.” She laughed at the idea that he’d exposed her mistake. “We will be together forever, because forever has no end.” Syaoran took Sakura’s head in his trembling hands and pulled her close. Just her perfume drives me insane. When they were but a hair’s breath away, Sakura asked, “Why are you trembling?” Syaoran answered, “Because I’m holding an angel that I don’t deserve.” Sakura whispered, “You do,” and leaned closer. Syaoran kissed her with the gentleness of rose petals, yet with the passion of a lover. They both thought about it but never said it aloud; this was the best night of their lives.
They left the restaurant with smiles that didn’t fade throughout the night. Sakura was entranced by his amber eyes and the glee she saw in them. He’s so happy. It’s like our quarrels never existed. Knowing this makes me happy. Maybe we can be together tonight like last night. I just want him to be near me all night. In a way she knew that parts of him already resided in her from the two times he’d fused his magic with hers; once to save her from defeat at the hands of Hiiragizawa Eriol, and the other from the sealing of the Riddle card. She’d needed him and he’d helped. Maybe he knows that I love having him as a part of me. It does make for a happier ending. I’ll always love him, no matter what happens.
Meanwhile Syaoran was trying to read her mind. I wish that she’d quit daydreaming. She makes me scared when she does that. All of her quirks and idiosyncrasies make me love her more. He was thinking about the times that she had asked for his help and how much he loved helping. She’s always so selfless that she’ll deplete herself and still be able to tap into the deeper recesses of her powers. She is the only one who can do that to me. He tightened his grip on her waist, and she returned the gesture by putting her hand on his cheek. Of course he liked it. His smile was unlike anything he’d ever shown before, and a warmth that melted the rest of his cold heart spread through him.
Chapter 2
The next day at school, Sakura had the hardest time concentrating on anything that took more than a few seconds to do. Her saving grace was that Syaoran sat behind her in math and Japanese. During gym class, though, her mind was able to wonder. Eron was showing off as usual and Erica was still fawning over Syaoran. Eron kept trying to keep her attention on a basketball game by making sure the balls went out in her direction. She was trying to practice her twirling, when Syaoran called, “Look out!!!” The next thing she knew she was on the ground and unconscious.
When she woke up, she noticed the white surrounding and a pair of arms that hid a head. I remember what happened now she thought as she came back to consciousness. I got hit by one of Eron’s stray balls, and fell to the floor. I must have hit my head something awful. But wait who’s this? She sat up and looked upon the little bit of hair that the arms let escape. It was a light brown so it could be one of two people. Her head started to swim, but she was able to pry one of the arms away before she went under again. To her relief it was Syaoran, the only person she could really want there. As she went under, she felt a hand under her head and another under her back.
Since Sakura’s little episode in the gym, Syaoran had stayed by her side waiting patiently for her to wake up. After about two hours, he fell asleep with nothing to do. About an hour later, she’d woken up for about two minutes only to pass out again. He caught her the second time as if trying to make up for the first miss in the gym. He knew she was still unwell. Reading her mind was impossible, and he couldn’t stand to leave her for fear that Eron would try to take advantage of the situation. When she was calm after her first waking, he kissed her brow in hopes that she’d open up to him even in the slightest bit. He could only wait now for her to wake up.
For half an hour, he would talk to her and try to establish a mental or spiritual connection. At one time he had been able to touch her heart, but that was broken before he could send the message. At the end of that half hour, she woke up and tried to sit up again. “Don’t try to sit up or you’ll just go under again,” said a voice that came form near her lamp. She knew that voice anywhere. Syaoran came to her bed and sat on the edge. “How long have you been here, Syaoran?” Sakura had not forgotten the little time that she was awake, but she did want to know how long she’d been under. Syaoran answered her in a soft tone that showed how sad he was. “I’ve been waiting in this same place for three and a half hours for you to wake up. I’m glad you are though. Hold on, I’ll heal you.” He took her hand in his then let his aura spread over her. She felt better even though she’d been in bed for a little more than three hours. She broke the flow of magic so that he wouldn’t use too much. He looked at her with that smile that said, “I love you.” She loved him like nothing else in the world. All the same, she had to ask, “Why me? Why did you, the heir to the most prestigious family in Hong Kong, choose me, a girl with nothing to offer you but my powers and love?” Syaoran laughed at her. She still doesn’t get it does she? All I want is her love and fidelity. “Because you love me, Sakura. It was you who tried to be a friend to me when I was ten. It was you that melted my stone cold heart with your smile. It was you that showed me that there was more to life than the Li Clan. Speaking of which, how do you feel?” “I feel fine. I didn’t really do all that, did I?” Sakura asked with tears in her eyes. Syaoran put his hand on her cheek and just wiped away the tears that were now streaming down her face. He put his head to hers and whispered, “Yes, you did.”
They didn’t hear the recess bell ring. They were so wrapped up in one another that they also didn’t hear the school nurse come in. “Li-san, Kinomoto-san separate at once,” she yelled. Sakura and Syaoran jumped when they heard her words. “What’s this mischief? And in my ward! Who do you think you are?” Syaoran nodded to Sakura. “Her best friend, madam. I was only trying to comfort her. She only just woke up.” The nurse took a deep breath and said, “Do you have to get so close to her in order to calm her down?” Syaoran was stifling a giggle at the nurse’s lack of knowledge in the field of psychological medicine. “I do. She was asking questions that may cause her stress. It is proven that if you get close enough to a person you are familiar with; you tend to clam down faster than with just a group of words. Keeping her quiet is a goal here, right?” The nurse was absolutely infuriated. She wanted to take Syaoran and ring his neck for his insolence. “So, you think you’re smart, do you? Then tell me what happened to Kinomoto-san in the gym.” Syaoran began with the circumstances that caused Sakura’s fall and how she tried to wake up half an hour before. Then he got to the technical things saying, “What she has is a concussion. Since she fell backwards, she may have a lot of memory loss; temporary memory loss, but memory loss all the same. The reason to keep her quiet is so she doesn’t aggravate the bump on her head. The problem with the talking is that if the bump (which is a bruise) resonates, she could go under again and stay in a coma for a long time. Is there anything I’m missing?” Now the nurse was absolutely fumed. She knew that he was right but refused to show it. How is he undermining my authority and still putting me in a vulnerable position? How does he know all that anyway? Oh well. Time to play it off. Syaoran, who’d been in her thoughts, answered, “Because you are self-conscious and proud. To the second question, it’s a family thing. The only reason I took Sakura here in the first place is because this is the only place quiet enough to treat her. Yes I do know what I’m doing.” The nurse answered, “Fine. Take care of her yourself. I don’t know what you did to read my thoughts, but you seem more than capable. Good afternoon Li-san, Kinomoto-san.” At this, the nurse left the room to the two of them. Sakura asked, “Is all that true? Why didn’t you tell me? I could do….”. Syaoran silenced her with a finger to her lips. He leaned close to her and said, “Yes, all of it is true. You have to keep quiet and awake for at least two hours. The most talking you can do is ask for water or to go to the bathroom. This is a time when watching television is a good thing.” He smiled and removed his finger from her lips. At first she folded her arms and pouted, but she ended up smiling as Syaoran bent over her to lift the head of her bed so she could sit up. She touched her hand to his as he stood next to the bed. With this small touch, she was able to make contact with his mind. Can we talk like this? I can’t cause the bruise to vibrate this way. Please, Syaoran? Syaoran laughed at her perseverance. She was willing to go to great lengths to make sure that there was still a way to make her intentions known. Yes Sakura, we can. I do suggest that you rest though. He bent down to feel her forehead for fever. She could only giggle at the fatherly care that he was administering. What are you giggling at young lady? Sakura looked at him in the face. You’re a lot like your father; kind, loving, and a good father figure. What she refused to think about is that she wanted him to prove that to her first hand. Why are you girls always so hooked on kind personalities? Mostly you, Sakura, tend to relate to family members and lovers. Sakura giggled. It’s because I read so many shojou novels. You really shouldn’t let ma near those things if you don’t want me thinking about these things. Syaoran pulled out one of the magazines that Sakura kept in her book sack. Then I guess I should just rip this up and throw it. Sakura was struggling not to yell at him as he grabbed the pages as if he were going to rip it. To her surprise, though, he actually tuned to the last pages that she’d read and began to read aloud to her. He even put his chair in a position that allowed Sakura to see the pages and animations.

Hip Hooray for Cardcaptors!!
My dear friends, you would not believe what a great deal I have found. I was browsing the internet for pics of Syaoran and Sakura when I came across a site with CCS fanfics on it. Fifty plus chapters to be exact(so far). They help to make me happy by having a sappy love story between a couple of characters that we already know. Syaoran and Sakura are teens now and are falling in love as any would. There are new characters, new plot twists, and a really cool set of places with their own story. I encourage you all to check it out at http://wishluv.revolutionhosting.net/newtrials.htm
Spoiler: Sakura gets her first kiss in one of them. Let's see if you can find it.
Later,
Chrisanna
