   HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! =D or Soni fai look (or how ever you type it in romanized chinese XD;;; )

Sunday february 18th is the 1st day of the chinese lunar year! =D and it's the year of the boar as all you most likely know already ;P

Today, we went to chinatown and saw the lion dance perform on top of the polls. and the person who did the front of the lion fell like 3-4 times trying to jump over the gap between the polls. the back person fell like twice and once when both of them fell on top of each other XD it wasw also really windy so they had to wait for the wind to die down until they can jump.

then we bought a puppet of the lion and some lucky candy =3 and then the kung fu demstration. and it was cool. my mom saw one of her co-worker's son in the group of small kids, and I think I saw him too.

and that's kind of what we did at china town this year. not as much fun as last year and we didn't get to see the dragon either. but oh well. it was still fun =3
