Mhmmmm...its the long weekend. Oh yeah!
Well, so far, the long weekend has been...well, boring, and exciting, and normal all at once. I'll explain:

On Friday, I didn't do much else but sleep. That is, until noon. Luckily My parents didn't have the day off, else I'dve been running around doing chores all day. Then I got up and did my art homework, which was to finish carbon tracing out the layers of my mask, and then sticking them all together, so i's ready to plaster on thursday. I would take a photo, cause it looks kinda cool, but dad's got the camera while he's off on his old car rally. Note the words old car. I'll be surprised if the car he's in doesn't break down at least twice. It already broke on the way to the car rally- the axle snapped. This is all relevant, cause these old men came around to our house to try and fix it on the Friday, too. (If you were wondering, my dad is obsessed with old cars, and has a little workshop filled with tools for that exact kind of thing, which is why they came around to our house. Of course, you weren't wondering, but I told you anyway)

Well, I then went to youth group about half an hour late, and played sports...lots of table tennis, coz it's fun, and then came back home to do...well, I'm not exactly sure what I did, but it took until about 12:00pm to do it. Then I went to bed. Oh, and I missed out the fact that I had pizza for dinner. Mmmmmmm pizza.

On Saturday. Well, it started the same, I didn't really get up properly until abot 11am. Mum went out to go shopping, and told me to look after the dogs. We have 3 dogs here at the moment. Emi, Banjo, and Tinsel. Banjo is here cause Mum is showing him, Tinsel is here cause she's heavily pregnant (we reckon she'll end up having her pups today!) and Emi is here cause...well, she's always here.

Anyway, when mum left, she actually left the front door open by accident. It wasn't a problem, as all the dogs were in the dogroom. (Yes we have a dogroom. Don't ask.) I just went and shut the door. I was kinda spooked, cause some burglar could've been in the house or something. So I went down to check on the dogs- Tinsel especially. They were all there, all happy. So I came back to my beloved computer, and started CGing another pic in photoshop. Soon after, the cat came in, and I figured I needed to feed her. So I wandered down to the dogroom (which is where we keep the cat food!?!)
And Horror of horrors, there was only one dog there...Tinsel, the pregnant one. Thank goodness for that. So on exploring a little more, I realised that the dogroom door to outside was OPEN! And so were the gates. I totaly freaked out at that point. That was 3 doors that shouldn'tve been open that day. The front door, the dogroom door, and the gates. Crap. So where were the dogs? Maybe someone had come to collect them before tinsel had her puppies...no, Mum would've told me. I checked the dogroom door quickly as I ran outside and ALMOST slammed it shut...thankfully I caught it in time, else I'dve been locked out in my Pj's -^^-.

So the lock was still pressed in, but the door hadn't been shut properly in the first place. And those clever dogs of ours had freakin well RUN AWAY!!! So I rang Mum, and her phone was engaged. Then I rang Grandpa, cause that's one of the places where mum was going to go. He told me to calm down, and ring mum again. The next time I rang her, I got through. I told her to get back home, coz the dogs were missing. She was like "WHAT?" but she came home anyway.
Probably got a couple of speeding tickets too. But we then spent the next hour or so running around the streets whistling and calling for our dogs. Whoops.

Anyway, people had seen them out on this really busy road, and we were worried that we were should be looking for roadkill instead of our dogs. (one person said they had actually helped them both across the road! God bless that person!!!) I was out infront of our house talking to these 2 boys on bikes, and then what do I see? Emi runnng down the road towards me! Yes!!! 1 dog down, 1 to go. I asked the boys to bike in the direction they had seen Emi running from in case Banjo was there too, while I took Emi inside.

Tinsel was happy to see her. I just hoped she wouldnt get too excited and start popping out puppies everywhere that would've been a bummer. I took the portable phone and ran back out to the front of the house. 1 of the 2 boys came biking up to me while I was talking to mum on the phone, and said they had found Banjo! I was so happy! Then I saw him bolt across the street and into someones house, So I was running down the street with a portable phone trying to call a dog and talk to mum, and the boy all at the same time. Talk about multi tasking!!!

Then mum came speeding down the road, and we ran into this random property. Banjo was really scared and it took us a while to catch him. But finally all the dogs were back home.

Then I worked out that MUM had left practically every door in the freakin house open without realising it. Oh yeah. She's real clever. >:C
That was my day gone straight out the window ^^

Sunday. Today.
Well, Mum's gone out to a dog show ith Banjo, and I'm sitting here hoping Tinsel doesn't have her puppies. And that's it.
I wonder what'll happen tomorrow...

   Soccer!!!
Well, today's soccer game went pretty good. I'm really tired though. We won 1-0. It should've been far higher than that, but we are all pretty sleepy what with all these evil assignments popping up. So, a win is satisfying for me.

My english speech got a very good clas response...I'm not sure what the actual mark is, but I was told it was a really good speech. If it's good enough, I'll get through to the speech semi-finals. Thats where you get to tell your speech to half the school. I've done that twice, and boy is it nervewracking. Speech finals, which I have never done, is where you get to recite your speech in front of the whole school, and all the parents and teachers. I really don't want to think about that. It makes me giddy.

My Social Studies speech went okay. It could've been better, but I'd only practiced it a couple of times. I got 38/40, which is surprising. I suppose it wasn't too boring. That's a good thing.
Oh. Did I mention I have a 4 day weekend this week? Not a 2 day, or a 3 day, but a 4 day? I am so happy!!! So I'll be seeing a lot of you during the weekend :)
I've also got to make a start on my Graphics project during the weekend, and study for the social studies test, but that's about it! IT'S PRACTICALLY FREEDOM!
I might even get the time to change my layout, but we'll see. I'll at least start planning!

The dog is also due to have puppies any minute now, so I'm hoping that she has the decency to have them while Mum is around. I'm not too skilled at birthing puppies, although it has happened to me before where I have been left alone in that situation. It'll be interesting, in any case.
If you were wondering, my mum breeds/shows/owns Miniature Schnauzers for a hobby. I, on the other hand own a cat. Singular. Don't you feel sorry for my sweet little cat? We are so similar in attitude that it just isn't funny. She's such a nice cat, and she's really smart. Although, she can get annoying. You can see the likeness already can't you? *jokes*
Anyway, I've got to go and sleep now.

   No, I don't have time..
Too little time, too much to do. Sadly, I still have a speech to write, one to memorise, a poster to start and Maths revision to do. So why am I here? No clue.

Anyway, today was...interesting. We had soccer practice today at lunchtime, and surprise, surprise, there was no coach. I really think she needs to get her butt into gear and get committed. So far, she has't been at any of our games, and only 1 practice. We put on our own pathetic practice (which included macrhing through the corridors at school wearing muddy soccer boots, looking for Alex, this guy who is pretty good at soccer, and happens to be in my class, and then coaxing him to be our stand-in coach. Very funny) Of course, he went off to play touch rugby after telling us to do an attack/defence game, then yelled at us for being on the same field as their game. Typical -.-'.

Anyway, I now have a graphics project in full swing too, which I will start as soon as I've finished all this other work I'm supposed to be doing. Note the supposed to be part. I'd really better go.
Ooooh, I can hear one of my favourite songs playing on my throught the office door. Its Taylor, by Jack Johnson. I love that song. It's so pretty.
Man, I'm offtrack. I'd better go this time. Procrastination is probably my favourite bad habit. Dangnammit! Okay, see yous!

   Homework...
Just to prove my point as to why I havent been posting very often, I'm going to let you read my englidh speech which I wrote...in pretty much 2 days time. We got given topics to choose from. I chose 'A fascinating animal' Just to explain the oddity of it. Yes I know it's wierd. But killer teddies are fascinating, right?
Anyway, without further adiue(sp? Probably)Here is my speech. (I'm going to have a toy teddy bear as a prop)

Good Afternoon, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls. My name is Professor White, host of the low budget nature show ?Fascinating Animals?. Today, I?m going to talk to you about a terrible, scary, and positively fascinating animal. I warn you, this animal is highly dangerous and so if you are in the least squeamish, I suggest you leave this room now.
I?m going to bring the little guy out now, so please don?t be alarmed. During daylight they are usually quite placid, although, at the first sign of danger, I can put him straight back into his little box here.
Okay, I?ll bring him out now.
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
Today?s fascinating animal is?The Teddy Bear!

Now children, lets have a show of hands if any of you have ever seen one of these terrifying beasts before.
*Teddy, I think there must be an epidemic*

Moving right along, as cute as the teddy bear may be, he truly is a wild creature. Look at his eyes for instance. Teddy bears have very refined eyesight, and are only able to see in 100% total darkness. They also have a keen sense of smell, adapted to scent out the whereabouts of little children. Their ears are also very good, and although they may look like bits of fluff to you, their complex design allows the teddy bear to hear even the slightest movement up to 20 metres away.

Using only these two senses of smell and sound, teddies can pinpoint the position of their prey from an amazing 100 metres.
And just look at these paws!!! They are very powerful, very strong. You can feel those bulging muscles under the fur. And although we cannot see this feature at the moment, nor would I like to be in a situation where we could, the teddies paws are equipped with deadly razor sharp, retractable claws. A common teddy bear can maul its prey to pieces in under a minute using these hidden beauties. Yes, teddy bears are truly built for the kill.

Talking about the kill, the teddies main prey is?little boys and girls. You children?Yes you?are protected only by the fact that you are totally and utterly afraid of the dark, and, admit it, will refuse to go to sleep without a light on, or the door open just a crack. This is the teddies downfall, as the teddy bear cannot, as I mentioned before, cannot see unless it is totally dark. Teddies find it very hard to kill and eat their tea when there is even the tiniest bit of light, as it renders them blind, and placid.

So, although you are afraid of the monster in your cupboard, or the spiders under your bed, the one you should truly be scared of, is the one you turn to for comfort! Be warned, teddy bears are not your friends. No matter how sweet, cuddly and innocent they may look, all they really want to do is eat you. And who can blame them? Yes, you silly little children taking advantage of the poor bears, hugging them, pulling their fur, chewing off their noses in your sleep, and not even feeding them! Think of the bears!!! THINK OF THE BEARS!!!
Herhum?

Although you see me handling a teddy here, boys and girls, you should never attempt to hold or pat a teddy bear ever. I know some of you may have done so in the past, but that does not put you out of danger. The specimen I have here is only a baby, and the larger adult bears are far more vicious. Especially mother teddies with cubs. Boy, would I hate to be in a room with one of those. Even this little guy has managed to take some chunks out of me.
*Show scar*

There are many different species of teddy bear, the one I am holding here is known as ursus patchus. He is quite rare, on the verge of becoming an endangered species.
I hope none of you have been getting the wrong idea about the most wonderful and vicious teddy bear. Although they are dangerous, and will eat you without a moments notice, they still have rights just like other animals. Teddy bears should not be kept as pets, just like other wild animals should not be kept as pets.

The teddy bears natural environment is the unfranchised toyshop, but sadly, due to overcommercialisation, the popularity of large chain stores, ant the greed of today?s youth, more and more teddies are being bought as pets. Some of these teddies are then mistreated by their owners, and the ones that aren?t are lonely, lost, and emotionally scarred for life from being taken away from their paradise homes. It truly is cruel.
*Sniffs*

So children, if you do happen to see a teddy in a store, please leave him alone and don?t disturb him, not only at the risk of being eaten yourself, but also at the risk of the teddies comfort.
Now just a few quick facts abou?*Flinch* Owwww! He bit me!
Oh dear. Back in the box for you! I?m sorry folks, but I?m going to have to put him away, for everyone safety.
*Puts away teddy* I suppose that just about wraps up the show for today, doesn?t it. I hope you enjoyed yourselves and learn some things about today?s fascinating animal, The Teddy Bear. Teddies are truly majestic and dangerous animals, my friends.
*Sniff*
Thankyou, thankyou.
By the way, the donation box is at the door?
Thankyou.
*Bows*
*Takes seat*

Well, I hope you enjoyed that...wierd, isn't it? Tell me what you think. Oh well, wish me luck/prayer that the speech actually goes well, It's on tuesday, and...well, I still have to practice it. And I have a whole other project to do in the space of a day! I knew procrastination was a bad thing to be doing on saturday...
Thanks a bunch! :P

   Bread...?
*laughs* I was just watching music videos on C4, and I just happened to see Zed's new video for "She glows"! By the way, the song is really great, but the video is really funny. Well, at least I found it amusing. The band is sitting playing their instruments in a room made of...bread!?! Yes, bread. Bet you never knew it could be so entertaining, did you?
Of course, I then saw the Beastie Boys video for "check it out", and theyre running around with a breadstick whacking people with it. Antway, all of the prior evidence has lead me to believe that there is a worldwide bread craze upon us.
In other words, bread is the new pink.
Sorry, that really was a bad pun. I just can't help myself, can I? *apologises sincerely*
Oh well, thought you might like to know.

   Predicaments.
Well, I have a couple on hand right now. I'll tell you them, and you can give me advice if you feel like it.

Church
Well, at the moment, I would happen to be at a rather boring, lukewarm anglican church filled with old people. The youth group is begining to fall to pieces, and it's not going too well. If I leave, it'll collapse. But, I'm not growing, or learning anything in that church. There will be a new youth centre being built on the church grounds, and I'm almost sure that it will revitalise the church. Trouble is, it's a year away.
I know another church with a strong youth group that I'd love to join (most of the members go to my school), but it's just a little far away for my parents to be able to run me around to. I've been to a few of their services, and loved it. I want to go, but it's a little difficult.
So, a choice has to be made. But I have no idea about what to do. If youre a christian, please pray for me about this issue...I've left it sitting long enough, and it's starting to get worse. If youre not a christian...well, what do you think? Oh, and God loves you ;)

Picture a la Photoshop
Well, I've been playing around with photoshop, and this picture is the outcome:
http://www2.freepichosting.com/Images/421506557/0.jpg
(Paste address into your browser search bar)
If you replied to this this in the art forum, then thanks a bunch. but the question is slightly different this time. Do you think this picture good enough to submit to fan art? Please post your opinions on this...I'm torn two ways. I might get a bad rating because of the picture, or I might get a good one. Its a much simpler problem this time around, isn't it? *laughs* :D

Well, time is a wasting, I'd better leave. Thanks to you guys for the opinions! Thanks to God for being there! No thanks to me for having the problems in the first place!!!

   The week that was...
Well, whats been happening to me in the past week? Not much. I went to school, which was pretty boring. I had a graphics test, which I got 100% on, and a maths exam, which didn't really count for much. I got merit, which is good. still, I could've gotten excellence.
Oh...one more test...English. I honestly thought I was going to fail it, and I got 96%!!! That was darned lucky.
Of course, I could go on and on about tests, but since it's boring, and kinda stuck up, I won't.
How come all teacher pile the same kind of work on you all at the same time? Last week I had 3 tests, andthis week, I have 3 assignments. Stupid isn't it?
Also, Soccer has started for the year, and I am realy happy about that. At one point, I thought I might not be able to play, with my mum starting her new job and all, but despite the circumstances, I can still play!!! Our first game we won 7-0. Lucky we weren't playing one of the good teams, else we would've been in trouble. We really need to get training...I've just realised how unfit I am now compared to last season!!! And to top it all off, I'm playing midfield, where you have to do the most running. Clever, doncha think? ;)
Oh...I also have some tragic news...I've run out of drawing paper!!! I bought 4 blocks at the start of the year, and theyve all been used up!!! I also have a drawer and a half menagerie of drawings I refuse to throw away...I think it's starting to get out of hand. Still, I havent submitted any of my drawing to fan art...I don't think theyre good enough, and 95% of my drawings are original creations anyway. I will, when I successfully colour one in Photoshop...I'm not very good at it... -.-'

Well, if you can't tell already, my week was really boring. But since I'm so bored, I made the post anyway. Well, that's logic for you...
See you round!

   Why?
Why do I feel like all of this is going absolutely nowhere? Maybe it's because the radio is playing depressing songs. Maybe it's because it isn't. Just to be confusing. I really am lazy, aren't I? I can't even find the motivation to have fun with my friends. They all went to the rugby yesterday, then went to see the movie Troy. I could've gone. Same as going to church and youth group. And now that my mum is going back to work, I probably won't be able to do any of this stuff. Isn't that just how life works? The offer's open, but you don't take it. Then it closes, and you really regret it.
God this is stupid. I feel so lasy and stuffy. What I really want to do is stick my head under the cold tap, or go for a run- something cold, to shock the sluggishness from my head.
I probably brought it on myself- it's 4 oclock in the afternoon, and I'm still in my pj's. Pathetic.
I suppose I'm just having an off day. But I think I'll go get up now, hopefully I'll feel a bit better. The weather's crap, and it's not helping. Oh well. I've gotta go and do something...

   Man...it's been a while...
I'm sorry for not updating sooner...I've been really busy. Sadly, I won't be able to get on to myO except in the weekends. I'm quite busy trying to color a pic I might submit in adobe photoshop... If it turns out ok, you'll get to see it ^^. I've just been given a whole lump of assignments, and been warned of more on the way, so if you don't see me around in the next 3 or so weeks, that'll be why.

   Time for a change
Well, I've decided to change my colour scheme around a bit...every time I view my site I get blinded by a very bright flash of green, which I am getting tired of. Lets see what I come up with. It won't be anything amazing, since I'm no html whizz. But, hopefully, it won't hurt when you look at it.
Wish me luck!
