   Tests...*giggles*
Hey peoples! Today I had yet another PAT test...not like they count for anything much, they just make us take them. But, oddly enough, on my reading comprehension paper, there was a passage on Captain Cook. Here is one of the questions.
87: What Impression does this passage give you of Captain Cook?
(a) A careful and cautions man
(b) A strict and stubborn man, very hard on his crew
(c) A happy-go-lucky captain, very free with the rum
(d)-?
(e)-?
Well, I thought answer c was rather funny. I was just that tempted to write it down. I mean, how often do you see a test paper with a sense of humour? But wait, there's more!

89: Why were the crew so overjoyed when they reached land?
(a) They had re-discovered a continent
(b) They had found a new civilisation
(c) They had earned another tot of rum
(d) They were starving
(e) -?

Well, take another look at c again. What is it with these guys and rum??? Heh. I suppose it's not that funny unless you are actually dong the test. But I do love Pirates of the Carribean, and anything to do with pirates, rum, or pirates and rum, makes me crack up. Oh well. That was my oh-so boringly uninformative post about absolutely nothing for today.
