Busy Bee
'Tis July and I feel like the first sem's been going on forever!
I've had barely no time at all to relax and, though I'm almost always online, I'm almost always online because of work. If not work, it'd be because I'm talking to my mom waaaaay over in L.A.
A lot has happened which, I think, changed the "claire-chan" you know into the "Claire-chan" I am now. Whether those are good changes or bad changes, I don't know. I can only say that those were inevitable changes that all of us experience.
For example, I'm now much more serious than I was before, and I think I'm now more aware of the political situation of my country. This is both a good and a bad thing, but I don't think I want to elaborate now.
What I think is keeping me from leaving myo, is the fact that this is the first online community I ever joined and I am quite happy to see how far it has gone from the first time I joined. It also feels good to be able to go back to a place that, though it has changed, it still has the same feel to it, you know, the familiarity to it is still there.
and speaking of familiarity, I am also glad to see some familiar names still here even after 3 looooooong years. However, in as much as I want to widen my circle in this community, I don't think it's something I can do simply because of all the school work I have.
Here's to hoping all of us "oldies" here in MyO never leave and continue to share with all the other otakus our works and life so that they may get whatever benefit they can from it.
I love you guys! ^___^ |
