Snow, Ceres, & spring break
hey there m8ties!

hum...i was rather surprised to not see a saturday night post from Silencethedawn..T.T i love those! anyway:

There's supposed to be a blizzard today in CO; about 1 ft of snow. we'll see, ne? there's already quite a bit on the ground, at 8:20 AM...

ok: I went and drew Toya from Ayashi no Ceres *squee* and it came out pretty good. XD better than any of my previously butchered male characters. you now have to click the "portfolio" link inbetween home and guestbook to go see my fanart. so GO CHECK IT OUT, PEROONIES! :D

and now, a bit of discussion on the epic roller-coaster ride that is Ayashi no Ceres...

i've read all the way up to #13, thanks to silencethedawn :) thanks so much! wow...it's such an amazing story >.< i don't want to ruin it for anyone else who HASN'T read that far but...be prepared, let's just say that much. ^.^ I must say i rather like Yuhi's new look; around #10 the style kind of changed...from the old FY style to more like Alice 19th...

like one of Watase's assistants said, "Aya should be happy and go with Toya, but Yuhi should go out with me!" yep. that's how i feel. and and and! the farther on you read, the cover art gets more amazing! i especially liked #10 and #13. ^-^

now...spring break...^.^ most people are doing something cool, like going on a ski trip, but me? i'm sleeping in, posting fanart, and riding my bike (snow permitting). T.T no ski money...

happy st. patrick's day! ;)
hey everyone! XD

I am so not turning my site green today. >-< no siree. i actually own like, 1 green thing and it's olive-y color....that little XD is so much fun, don't you think? Anyway; today was silence-san's Chantons audition. it was really short; the choir teacher stopped silence as soon as the part of the song came where she was the best T.T we were so peeved..well i was. ^.^ cause i really hope she makes it! I think she did rather good on the other parts of the audition, as well; better than some of the other people auditioning, so you have that going for you, silence-san! ^_^

yes, it's true: i finished the costume! w00t! There's the link for all you lazys. :p it came out rather nicely; and you can run around and jump and do fun un-ladylike stuff in this costume, as compared to a traditional kimono. :)
I'm listening to Les Miserables right now; so pretty....if you haven't heard it, and you liked Phantom of the Opera, you should grab a CD, or DVD, or whatever. ;) the book was uber-boring. but the musical is great! :D also.....silence-san lent me a whole stack of Ayashi no Ceres, so i should be coming out with an Aya/Toya fanart sometime soon :p

fun fun
hey everyone ^_^

well, silence-san's Chantons audition is tomorrow! *yay* I hope you make it, silence-san!

AAAnd i put up 1 new fanart of a watercolored Sailormoon manga. :) i hadn't done one in awhile, but i used to do artbook copies painted with watercolors all the time.. i did change a few things with this one, though; especially, i put a whole new dress on Minako-chan (Venus) because the one she had was..*shudder* weird..

If anyone wants to buy any of the fanarts i have on MyO, i can have my mom put them on E-Bay for you! :) $10.00 is the mimimum i'm asking for the prettier ones; $6.00 for the un-special, white background ones.

We added more to the teen ballet dance; it's getting neater every time ^^ (sorry red-chan; i do have too much fun in ballet class.) here's a MIDI file for the dance music:

not too much
hey everybody! ;)

welllLLLLll there isn't too much going on today...i've been making good money in my business so i'm thinking about buying a plane ticket going to see my best friend in Las Vegas in the summer for like, a week or something..she offered to let me stay at her house, so it would be fun. :) and sort of scary.. the airport in Las Vegas is so big and i'm *sniff* so tiny..

I put 1 new fanart up of 4 lead Watase characters. :) Aya, Alice, Miaka, & Takiko. In lovely furisode kimonos, of my own design (of course). go see, and tell me what you think! ^_^ and my cosplay costume for Takiko is done, so as soon as I take some pictures i'll put them up. ;)
Tonight is Wednesdayyyy :) I get to go dance more of the spring dance^-^ *happy dance* w000ta! yeah. dancing is so cool when you have a dance to dance. i think i said that before. anyway. ^>^ i guess i better stop now; it's getting long. 0_o bye everyone!

hey everyone! :)

hum...well i'm sorry i haven't updated in awhile...I don't have any new artwork; but i've scanned some stuff from like...3-4 years ago... ^.^ Tell me if you like it, ne?

aaand i finally got up a cosplay gallery for the Geisha costume i did last year for halloween. :) go see!

what else..oh! i'm playing piano for silencethedawn-san this week; for her choir auditions ( i forget what level she's getting in to, so sorry! I think it's the highest one)She's singing "The Rose". tis so prettyful.. :)I hope you make it, silence-san!

Ok: i had an extremely strange trip through dreamland last night; including a lady wearing a hat made out of actual cheese that had like, denture-bite marks all over it...and a visit back to my old city of Las Vegas; in one of the neighborhoods i'd lived in when i was around 5 years old. ( I had 4 different houses in Las Vegas; we were rather poor in the earlier days and kept getting evicted.) strange...especially the first house; we were pretty sure it was possessed...there was even a room in that house that nobody ever went in, because you get this terribly uneasy feeling whenever you went in..aand it was a rather old house and had all sorts of critters in the kitchen. ^.^ and now i live in a 3000 sq. foot house in the mountains! imagine that, ne?

new colors
hey everyone!!! ^-^

well as you can see, fay-chan has changed the look of her otaku. :) I'm waiting to hear back from someone who will tell me how to remove the inner background color... so all you can see is Vashiness!!! ^-^ AND! you don't have to just use wallpapers; you can put pictures from your computer onto Yahoo! photos (free) and use those. ^.^ ah, the possibilities...

what should i draw next, people? ^.^ i haven't done Fushigi Yuugi in awhile..(not too good at drawing guys) i think the only good man i ever drew was Frey... 0_o girls have trouble drawing mans, no? ^-^except for watase-san... maybe ummmmm...something old, like...sailormoon...oor maybe something from CLAMP, like CCS or MKR...'cause i seem to have lost my sudden talent for faeries. ^-^ OR! if you send me a picture of you, i can draw you anime style!! ^-^

:::NEWS FLASH:::
The Teen Ballet class FINALLY started working on our spring dance!! w000ta! ^.^ it's so much better actually having a dance to dance rather than doing drills at the barre and such... We think out costumes should be red and black (just by listening to our music) but it's spring, so i don't know if that will work..

nothing much, i suppose...

credits to Chaos Eidolon for that great greeting. :) wellLll i'm enjoying a bowl of Fudge Marble ice cream at the moment, and feel pretty spiffy. ^-^ and someone in ballet said today that i have amazing turnout...which is a big thing for me, so i'm happy. Aaaaand i drew a new fanart of a faerie (this is for DarkFairy2007) and it hath been posted, so go check it out!!! ^-^

um..and it's supposed to be snowing in CO here tomorrow morning..whee snow! *shiver* snow is fun for the first 20 minutes and then it's just cold and melty and un-funny.

heh, interesting: today my sisters and I made papier-mache masks; where you slather petroleum jelly on your face and put flour-water-pasted pieces of newspaper on your face. yes. they come out very interesting..and if you DON'T put the petroleum stuff on first you end up with newsprint all over your face. ^.^ i'm going to paint mine tomorrow...what colors...hum....

I am reading a new manga from the library by CLAMP called "clover". i'll be sure to tell you how it is!

this is the last birthday post from me, i swear! (until next year, anyway...)
haha, hi everyone. XD

yes, i turned 16. exciting. (meheheh, not really.) but it WAS the best birthday yet. you may read all about it at my good friends' sites; Redtigress and Silencethedawn! :D kudo's to them for telling all about it!

wellLll signoras and signors, i haaave..lessee...$170.00 in birthday cash to spend, and then $90.00 combined certificates to other stores..WOW am i going to have fun next weekend...yay for red-chan, she got me a Borders card ^_^ yay! books cds manga (drool). and then i have $50.00 to denver fabrics...what shall i make...haha, I so know it's going to be japanese...well actually i'm supposed to get ahold of a 1870's ball dress before may...(think Masquerade ball in Phantom of the Opera) what a project...0_o boning, lace, a crinoline hoop to make..somewhere around 10 yards of fabric, probably has to go into it...a corset to make..(oog) while i CAN do this, i haven't tried too often. ^-^ but it should be spectacular, whether or not it survives me. :D and i am SO not wearing a crazy hat with it, hats are for bald people!! (j/k all you hair-less people.)

The first silk-dyeing project i did was a 45"x45" silk-scarf; I had divided it up into 4 squares (pattern-wise)and each has a japanese motif for the 4 seasons. I get to wear it to church today, folded in a triangle like a big shawl. ^.^ it's sooo sooooft...i likee...if you've never worn silk, just get a charmeuse scarf, and it can turn you from a crabby mean person to a nice one in about 3 minutes. :D Then wear a whole kimono out of silk..you never want to wear anything else after that, believe me... ^_^ makes it a bit hard on the wardrobe, though.

bursting at the seams
that lil yellow face can't even say it all...
well i had like, the best birthday i've EVER had last night. ^-^ my church's usual thursday night devotional was at one of my buddie's houses (2 buddies actually; a brother and sister.) aaaaand one of my best friends who goes to the devos and I absolutely live by music; so when i came in I said to her "i brought a goodie" and she went "oooo!" and i pulled out the phantom sheet music ^.^ and we were all like, jumping up and down and stuff because the house we were at had a lovely upright grand piano ^-^ so of course first thing after the devo I was there playing the music, and Nicole and Amy (amy being the girl whose house this was) were singing. and there's this guy who comes (his name is andrew) who does a beautiful tenor, and he was just walking by and we're all like "ANDREW!!! you have to get over here and do the phantom!!" and if you don't know him; andrew is the goofiest goober on EARTH, so he'd be singing serious for a bit and then make a weird face and we'd all be like trying not to laugh because the song was still going, etc. This might sound dull to all of you, but it's amazing putting some singers and 1 poor piano player together and actually sounding good doing the songs from your favorite movie.

ah yes; and amy's brother Drew plays Clarinet, and he had given me some classical sheet music to play, so we did that too. ^.^ it was a bit disasterous; we had been practicing at different tempos....but it was mostly ok.

and then at home, there was a marie calendar's chocolate satin pie waiting. ;) yumm..

haha, this has NOTHING to do with anime, ne? ok:

WHAT SHOULD I DRAW?!?!?! somebody, make a request! or else i'll probably draw Vash again...or a faerie... or maybe vash dressed like a faerie! (haha, j/k)

good things
a lot of good things happened to me today. :D

first off....

Howl's Moving Castle comes out on DVD March 7th! *happy dance happy dance* i haven't ever seen it before, but the trailers look amazing..

aaand my birthday is tomorroowww! (but the party is the day AFTER tomorrow)

aaand my Phantom of the Opera sheet music came in the mail yesterday! *dies of happiness* so superdancer1992 (yep, my sister) and I were singing last night while i played piano..probably we did the whole movie...haha. it was fun.

aaand tonight is, of course, teen ballet class. AND all the parents are supposed to come watch all the classes this week...Red-chan and Tik-chan! are your moms coming??

Aaand i got a whole buncha stuff that the library had on hold for me; including a studio ghibli film; "Grave of the Fireflies". it's soooooooo sad.. but it has the most beautiful song near the end..(i'm a music person, can't you tell?)

AND! (you were going to quit just then, weren't you?!) There is a new fanart up of Dark from DN Angel! w0000ta! now be rewarded for your reading of the long posts and go ooogle him. ^-^

It LOOKS like nice weather today...i haven't been outside yet, so i won't know until i go >_< superdancer1992 and I decided that as long as the weather's good, we go and play tennis at lunchtime. ;) it's our P.E. (since we're homeschooled.)
