yesterday
haha, i don't know why i didn't post yesterday if that's what i'm going to talk about but hey...
yesterday afternoon silence-san and tik-chan came over to my house to practice a song; with me playing piano and silence-san singing, with tik-chan occasionally helping. :) then we went bowling, and had dinner at applebees, and then proceeded to freeze in the parking lot waiting for silence-san's ride. ^-^ it was satisfying, in a weird, sick twisted kind of way, to freeze ourselves and look like idiots trying to stay warm. ^_- my dad was asking them goofy questions while we were waiting for food, like state capitals and stuff..."for a dollar". My dad is um...embarrassing in front of my friends, and not when it's just the family. 0_o isn't it weird how that works??
i'm going to do a fanart of Ceres from Ayashi no Ceres. probably i will have it done by tonight, so you won't see it until tomorrow. That is, if you even care. :p
well that's about it for now. ^-^ byebye!

i feel nice today
well i feel slightly better today than yesterday; probably from silencethedawn's crazy late-night post. :p and watching Craig Ferguson. :D yep...
yay! an anime sleepover next fridayyyyyY! i can't wait..*happy dance*
wellLll i'm rather stuck on fanart at the moment; i did a corpse bride and 2 maiko..um..what shall i draw next...("something ANIME, maybe?" i hear you say) hmm, yes, that would be good...
i decided i'm going to cosplay as Takiko from Yuu Watase's manga "genbu kaiden" for next Halloween. :D it shall be my last one... ;_; that i get to go trick-or-treating, anyway...i'll probably be getting weird looks as it is, an abnormally tall 16-year-old... heheh! but it will be fun. i'm going with red-chan and tik-chan, and maybe silence-san will honor us with her presence?? ;) it should be fun.

hmmMmmm...
hey everyone!
um. i'm having fish and rice and veggies for dinner. ^0^ (nothing much to say) got 1 new fanart up...i'm turning 16 in like, 3 weeks...not many people seem to care, but maybe it's because 8 months isn't long enough to make a lot of new friends...
i neeeeeed a best friend!!! all my current friends have their buddies already, so nobody is REALLY REALLY chumming up to me. -_-; (p.s. for the normal cheery michelle-san post, scroll down). soo, yeah...if there's anyone out there who really likes kimono and music who doesn't have a best friend..be my best friend! ^^ that's all for now.

orange icing
hey everyone!
well, today i am writing while eating breakfast; a breakfast of scrambled eggs and 1 cinnamon roll with orange icing on top. *anime drool* i haven't had anything REALLY sugary like that in a long time...it's gooOOood. ^^
i have learned that there is a Cherry Blossom matsuri (festival) right here in downtown denver!!! every june!! and everything's japanese!!! AAUGH! i have to go! ^.^ i'll have to see if i can get a booth set up to sell hair-flowers. it'd be pretty funny, a geisha sittin there "can i help you?" yep.
i did my little sister's hair in a french braid that spiraled around her head. the funny thing about this is that it looks like your hair is about a mile long, because it just keeps going around the head even if you hair is like, 3 inches long. ^_^ so she had people asking, "how LONG is your HAIR?!" fun. i love braiding hair..if i can't be a costume designer/maker, i want to be a hairstylist. ^^

um...
hey everyone!
well: I started a topic on the Immortal Geisha forums (http://www.immortalgeisha.com)that said: "wouldn't it be fun if we could have a geisha/maiko convention?? people could come dressed up as geisha and sell kimono, obi, kanzashi, etc." it got a whole bunch of responses!! so folks, we might be having a maiko-con somewhere in denver...^^ or even adding a couple of that kind of booths onto like, a ren fair or a Japan Fest (but those are only in Atlanta, as far as i know). let me know if anyone here wants to do that; or even have like, a kimono party at my house where we have japanese food, etc.
1 new fanart up! (well, i submitted it at 9:00 this morning, so it might not be up till tomorrow).

ice cream!!
geheheh.
hola signors and signoras!
well let's see, what did fay-chan do this week...um. yesterday i went out shopping with my mom for some craft stuff; among them fake pearls. Unkowingly, we went to check out this new bead shop i'd never seen before and it was all like, really NICE beads (crystals, gemstones, etc.) and no fake ones. so we looked at a string of REAL pearls and it was like, 65.00 or something like that for a string that would go around one's neck and hang at collarbone level. *ouch!* needless to say, we ran out of there and went to the nearest hancock's bridal section and found the fake pearls there. :D but it was fun looking through the fancy shop. I want to wear pearls sometime...they look so...glamourous! XD
yeah.
and today dad's taking all the kids to coldstone ice cream. :D yippeee! i can NEVER finish the biggest size, and i barely manage the medium size...:) haha, i'm still a little kid, really...
and i have submitted that fanart of the girl on the piano at 9:00 AM this morning, so you ought to be able to see it by tonight, possibly tomorrow. that's all for now! bye! :D

birthdays...
hey everybody!
um...well, it's my birthday on march 2nd, and i'm turning 16, and i desperately need party-planners. :) if anyone has ideas/sugggestions, let me know, please! :)
this is really of no relevance, but i'm writing this as my mom is making a pb&j sandwich for my brother...i don't like jelly/jam...just peanut butter with honey, sometimes. :) I actually haven't had one of those in ages....
i did a new fanart with a victorian-era lady at a grand piano, because i was designing her dress and i was going to put her on a couch but I like pianos better. :) i hope to have it posted by tomorrow.

new manga!!!
konnichi wa, minna-san! *bow*
well, the previous night I returned from the library with an armful of books; mostly manga. :) Naruto, Alichino, Kare Kano, and 2 other new ones i forget the titles of. ;) I've only read the Naruto one so far (#1), i'd never read or seen it before. :) i like it! i think it's supposed to be shounen, but i like it anyway. :) I'll have to draw some naruto fanart.
Yay! my Kanzashi are selling on e-bay!!Kanzashi are hair-flowers that you make out of fabric. here is one i made.
btw i make them and my mom sells them for me; this one has a current bid of 17.95 on it!! i'm sooo happy! what shall i buy...actually i'm probably gonna buy phantom sheet music. :) well that's all for now..mata kondo! (see ya later)

too many things
hey minna-san! *bow*
not too much going on today; going to take a trip to the library and dance class...i love the library ^.^ geeky, ne? but they have all sorts of manga there, and really great fiction too. :) just finished "dragonsdawn" by Anne McCaffrey. this series is amazing! the book i just finished is a prequel to the rest of the ones which i had read first; they're like, sci-fi but not really because there's some rather medieval stuff, like dragons. :)
um...Naoko-sensei (teacher for ballet) keeps saying every class that i'm looking a lot better and must be practicing (but really, i don't practice that much >.<) i dun know why... am i just trying harder??? btw Naoko is japanese and about 5' 10". ^.^ her accent is a bit hard to understand but her english is good.
my little brother is stomping and falling around the house and generally throwing a fit ( i guess he sprained his ankle or something) and doesn't want to go to school so he is saying he can't stand on it at all. hence, he is crawling around the house. -_- really, you have to think of a better excuse than exaggerating a sprained ankle....(he's 6, btw)
heheh^^
come check out my 2 new fanart!
