i've recently finished reading #2 of paradise kiss and #3 of Chrono Crusade. :) they've both superb mangas i would recommend. Para-kiss is rated older teens, though, so younger people, be warned. >=)the people in Chrono Crusade are very...hm...realistic? not really..but they have personalites, like you remember them. It's pretty great. :) i'm working on a fanart of Chrono right now! :)
it's 10:52 PM and i am waiting for my chocolate-peppermint cookies to bake. :) yummy! i'm somewhat of a messy baker, however. by the end of the baking-session there'll be flour all over my black shirt (forgot an apron) and sugar on the floor(i'll notice this when it feels like sand between my toes) and cookies dough on the counter, etc. :) the cookies come out ok though. :D
i forgot to mention ^.^; on wednesday i saw Memoirs of a Geisha with Tik-chan and RedTigress-san. It was soooooo good! and all the kimono were GORGEOUS :) it was weird, seeing chinese people dressed up like geisha though; chinese people seem to have somewhat bonier faces, and it just doesn't look like geisha... if you want to see vintage pictures (around 1930), go to http://www.immortalgeisha.com
this is also a pretty awesome all-around geisha site. they have forums and kitsuke and a store :) i'm in the forum.
i've just read half of Alichino #2. the story is a little garbled and hard to comprehend, but i think i've got it. :) the artwork is AMAZING!!! so pretty! the eyes are the centerpiece, i think. but the artist has a hard time drawing the characters in anything but this slightly angry, serious pose. even when the artist is making them smile, they're not really happy-looking, just sarcastic. but other than that, it's great. :)
i cut my hair T_T it looks pretty good but the model in the hairstyle book had thinner hair than me, so it didn't turn out the way i wanted. i'll have to put up a new picture ;) just keep envisioning me as the lovely long-haired lassie in the pic. :) it so needed to be done though; i had split ends like...to my shoulders..(a little below actually; which tells you how short it was cut) so now...no more split ends!! yay! now i can grow back all nice and long and without split ends. :D yay!
btw sorry if you read this on superdancer 1992's website. i am her sister and accidentally posted it on the wrong account! heh. gomennasai! *bow*

hey everyone!
Shinnen Omedetou gozaimasu! (happy new year!)
i just, last night, saw Million Dollar Baby. (heh heh. i don't see movies much.) it was so sad! but it was a good movie.
A recent addition to the list of friends told be about an anime called princess nine. has anyone out there seen it? i read an anime review for it, but that didn't say too much...
yes it's true; i am now jumping off the walls like everyone else; i have chucked the old, calm, self (for the holidays, anyway.) I wonder what my drawings will be like...
auugH! i have today and tomorrow to go see Memoirs of a Geisha with R-chan and T-chan! people, someone call me and tell me what's going on! (onegai?) :)
our church youth group is having a lock-in tomorrow for new year's eve. (we couldn't do it ON n.y.e because the next day is sunday (church) and you don't want people to come in and see a bunch of sleepy teenagers.)so we're like, "what's our countdown going to be for?" we'll be all, "5,4,3,2,1...happy new year's eve!!!!!" yeah. pretty lame. but it's fun anyway. I really don't think there's any such thing as a normal teenager...

yay! memoirs of a geisha has come out in theaters. i HAVE to go see it!!
i went christmas caroling last night with the youth group at my church (who are all HILARIOUS great people)and it was too dark to see the words, where we went. so if it wasn't a REALLY popular song, we'd be like *mmble...Santa claus lane..mmble* and everyone would just start laughing and be like "George,(the song leader) we need to sing a song everyone knows so these people don't think we're idiots!" because in truth, they're all really amazing singers. ANYWAY. good times. :D
i didn't get to see miyazaki's new movie, "howl's moving castle" when it was in theaters... is it good, people? i love miyazaki movies. especially spirited away. :D:D:D it's the best. CHRISTMAS BREAK! yay!
well well well, my cheeky wee monkeys! it seems christmas break has started. what to do with all my spare time...;)
I've always drawn with colored pencils; and they look kinda faded on the scanner (yes i messed with all the settings and such) so i was looking at copic markers. EXPENSIVE!!!! T_T but sometimes you can find good deals on e-bay... people who have them: do you like 'em?

today is wednesday; ballet class and an hour-long wait before. BUT i like the wait because i can sit around eating starbursts and drawing fanart and reading manga. :D
I don't like Algebra 2...had fractional expressions today...i like geometry a lot better, maybe because my mind likes to work visually. all the x-y stuff confuzzles me, but give me some volume/area arc stuff, and i'm ok. :) i'm homeschooled, so i'm writing this at 10:53 AM, right after math. weird, ne? i can walk around in my pj's ANY TIME I WANT. :P

konnichi wa, minna-san! i'm mostly back to my normal self. (had a cough)MOm and dad went to a broncos game (i live in denver) so we kids are just here. by ourselves. hence the little devil face. ^_-
My singing voice is coming back, but only about to low alto range and not my normal soprano *sniff* so i sat down at the piano today like "lala*voice breaks*eugh!"
terrible.
i just finished reading the 2nd Christopher Paolini book, Eldest. (comes after eragon.) WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW! I absolutely LOVE this series. it's your classic dragons/riders-wars-elves-magic-evil king epic. *whew!*SOMEONE, give me a new anime to obsess over before i quit drawing! :)
