haha. yet again! I die quite often, don't I?
But hey, Micha has internet again! WOot, celebration, fireworks, etc. YAY! so i can upload fanart now! So.....there's one new one *squee* go check it out!
Ahh, 'tis good to be back. My life has changed a bit since you last saw me; I'm playing harp quite well now, and will hopefully be posting some youtube videos soon...I just got back from church camp (kamp koinonia) which was fabulous; and where I played piano for 5 different girls who were singing in the talent show. :D besides my own little act of harp+voice. It was crazy but fun. :D

ok so hi everybody! my house is currently internet-less, so i'm posting from the library. :D
SO i painted this really awesome picture of an angel-person type thing but she's dying and the wing looks so cool and and and!!!! but you can't see it just yet because of the above situation. :D haha. But i hope to be able to show you soon!!!
I get to wear a kimono and serve tea on Saturday; to fund a trip to Japan for CMA. :D fun times! and a couple of my handmade dolls and stuff are being auctioned for charity. :) I'm happy, get to make the world a better place. At least a little bit. ^^
Hmm i'm 17 now, and i think i'm going to a culinary arts school but I'm not entirely ready to put music/piano on the back burner, but i'm also not very good at writing songs, etc. But i love cooking, pastry and desserts expecially. XD I'd be one fat cook if i didn't go hiking & bicycling all the time!

Anyhoo I'm back, with 2 new fanarts of course. Which you should go check out in my Portfolio. :) it was 8:24 pm 5/5/07 when i uploaded them so if you're here like RIGHT after that, have patience and WAIT a bit!
*huff* okay I'm done. XD
Anyway I had a piano recital today, it was good times. I played Ashitaka & San (that song at the end of Princess Mononoke, when everything's turning green again). To the un-trained ear i made no mistakes, but I know that i totally left out some notes. XD whoops. Anyway! here's me:

Hey! ^_^
Hi everyone. :) Well it's a new day and a new post! How's everyone's life going?
I bought a gothic lolita pattern book recently, and this is the first dress that i made:

I like it. :) But ooooooHhh i really hate sewing ruffles!

Also. :) I drew a new picture, and it's up in the fanart (hopefully). This time it's at night (woo mysterious) and it actually has a background! crazy, I know. I'm a terribly impatient color-er so it's messy, except for the faerie. ^.^; I was really puzzled on what colors to use for skin-tone at night!
Last night, SYD went to play mini-golf instead of practicing. :D it was good times. I was in a group with 4 of my other best friends, and my crush and his people were right behind us (!). They're all good though, and we are really bad, so when they finished they'd come and hang with us and be all sports-commentator-y and stuff and make jokes about how bad we are. ;)

new things
hi everyone!
Well i have some semi-exciting news; I got my learner's permit now! ^^ First driving experience ever; at night, in the snow, driving my family's huuuuge 8-seat SUV (yukon GM) coming home from church. :D but the snow wasn't sticking to the road so really it was just like rain. It was scary. ^.^ but really fun. I almost ran into a guard rail that was over on the right side of the road coming up that twisty road to my house. XD It's so hard to brake smoothly! but starting seems to be no problem.
O and there is new fanart up, it's actually from an anime this time! Sakura, from naruto, in a hikizuri (dance kimono.)

hey all!
HMm well i'm not exactly sure why i'm posting! XD Just to say hello, i suppose. I had to do taxes for the business today...ZOMG it was so boring and math-filled!! i can't understand how people can do it for a living. o.O But yay.
O and guess what, faerie-chan is going to get her learner's permit soon! ^_^ so excited. Finally, at the ripe old age of 17...well hopefully that just means I'll learn faster than if i was 15 1/2. :) It's not too hard, at least...kind of fun!
And the Singing Youth of Denver is recording tonight. :) we did about half of our songs last monday, and hopefully we're finishing up this week. It was so fun recording with Heartfelt! (women's octet) and it made me feel special. It is also pretty neat to see all the professional equipment and stuff.
O and i'm thinking about buying professional geisha/maiko makeup, for when i go to anime conventions, halloween, and japanese dance. It would be like $100 for everything, but ever so much easier than trying to use cheapo clown make-up! And then i would maiko-henshin (maiko-transformation) all my friends and take pictures. :) :) :)

But hey, i have put up some new fanart! O.O surprise! Anyway it's 2 people from Sailormoon in lolita. :D Go see!
mMm boy i can't wait until spring gets here...right now it's positively DIVINE outside, about 60°F..and it smells like rain, bt it's nice and sunny. Most of the snow is gone (whoohoo!) but now there's all this gravel left over! So i can't go rollerblading yet. ^_- but i have been bicycling a couple of times.

most awesome berday
hey, i turned 17 everybody!

This was the cake my mom and I made; we put music from one of my favorite songs around the side.
Yes, it does lean to the side quite a bit. :) It was an ice-cream cake, so the layers slid a bit when we were putting it together. -.-;
Aaaaand i had sushi with my dad last tuesday for berday dinner..

It was good times.
Yep and i got my harp now!!! ^^ no pictures yet, but soon. Oo it's so fun....and prettyful sounding! But everything sounds good on a harp.
Anyway. That's All. ^^ Perhaps i'll put up some fanart tonight, ok?

new harp!
hey folks!
Yep, i'm doing it, i'm buying a celtic harp!!! :D probably this one: Dusty Strings; Ravenna
But the one in the store that i went to was much prettier. Perhaps they're just prettier in person? :D But i don't know; there was also a shiny black one that looked kind of evil, but it sounded AMAZING, but it was $2200.00. So kind of not-in-my-price-range. :D You can see it here: deh evil one
This one in the picture's kind of more dark-wood finish; but the one i saw was like grand-piano black lacquer; kind of shiny black. Anyway fun times! ^^ We went to this store (Kolacny Music) since it was right close to where i go to Singing Youth of Denver every monday. And there was a biiiig room just full of every kind of harp, and they let me and my little brothers play like EVERY SINGLE ONE XD It was great. The big pedal one was fun.
They also had big glass cases all full of shinyness, like saxaphones and clarinets and stuff, but i'm not allowed to play those. ;) O boy, music stores are just too much fun for me...
Anyway! How's life, everyone? Not too stressful, i hope?
I'm going to disneyland!!! With my best friend in Las Vegas (where i used to live). So i finally bought my plane ticket to LV, and we're road-tripping up to Anaheim. Good times! We're going for the pirates 3 premiere, red carpet and all! But after premiere-day we're going for another day to be regular goofs and ride all the rides, etc.
Hmm well this post wasn't especially informative, but i hope to hear from everyone who visits! ^_^ If you've got a request for me, don't hesitate to ask, as I'm rather stumped right now. Good day to all; bai-bai!
