whoa ok back now!!! ^.^ So not much today; just pictures and words. :) And: an awesome videO! it's "This is Halloween" in german. XD from the nightmare before christmas. AMAZING!

Oh man i'm so tired. XD first i had that sleepover on friday. Then i spent the next day at six flags. Then today i stood for about 3 hours in lines waiting to get my portfolio "evaluated" at a college..
Magicfingers took me with her to that. It was pretty cool and we got pens and college catalogues and stuff. i only got to see 2 people..the rocky mountain art+design college people liked me; the Pratt institute in brooklyn didn't. XD I guess they didn't like the anime-influence that was showing up in all my dress designs...
and there was a shiny black piano in one corner..^.^; it was calling to meEe..but i think maybe it was locked, so I didna get to play it. T.T
and i had a sandwich (thanks to magicfingers's dad) that had the weirdest bread EVER. O.O it looked like a ginormous potato chip! which turned out to be just regular bread that had lines on it from being roasted. XD Twas a good sandwich, though.

yeah. i guess that's about it. ^.^ And silence-san; of COURSE i shall play piano for you and this time you SHALL get into Chantons. :D Maybe since everyone's been telling me you're an amazing soprano, you should get a song that shows that off?

In other news! :)
Michi now sings at SYD (Singing Youth of Denver) which is really fun. I'm an alto. And i sit right in front of a bass that i really like. (please don't laugh, silence-san. XD I like him, ok?) Anyway it's snazzy, and they do concerts at churches and parks and such.
I'm (hopefully) going to a "Murder Mystery" dinner tonight. :) put together by a friend of mine. Everyone has to dress up like the 40's..:D it's cool. my sister got it right on; she's a blonde blue-eyed girl, so she's wearing a black & pink polkadot dress, and wearing really red lipstick and red fingernail polish. I'm wearing my dad's old U.S. Air Force dress stuff. XD I must say; i tried it on last night and it looks smexeh on a woman. It's like, a dress shirt and pants, a vest, a tie, and a big jacket with buttons and ceremonial stuff everywhere, and a hat. All in navy-blue, except the shirt which is light blue. Perhaps i can get pictures up later. :)
It's already snowing up at the Eisenhower tunnel...like, 2 feet..(which is at um..idk, like 9,000 feet?) But anyway. tis about 45 minutes from my house. Snow is comiiiiIiiing...^.^ everyone here in CO is all "oh GREAT..winter..snow..ice..stalled cars...eugh.." But i like it. :) being from Las Vegas.

I guess i don't talk about my real life that much, eh? just BORING you with FANART and such. WELL there's no fanart this time! :p i was un-inspired this week. Math fried my brain. On the up-side.. i have pictures!!!! :)
I like to call it: the elizabeth bennet dress. :D It's so cool..i want like 10 more...But there's a weird curve in the back seam that i don't like sewing..>.< and i can't put it on myself, it's so funny...i have to have someone else do the hooks on the back.
It was at about 11:30 last night that i finished it, so i didn't bother with an obi or padding. XD but i hadda try it on! So there it is. The design is waterlilies and lily pads and dragonflies.
And then. of course, October 6-8th, there is going to be an anime convention here in Denver, CO. XD *squee* and i'm going with magicfingers and chaosalchemy. I've never been to one beforeEe..because in Las Vegas I didn't have any anime friends. Isn't it great how the otaku brings people together? *cheesy grin*
Of course, dance class is better for that.
Oh random bit of information. :) i saw a license plate today that said "MEH"! XD i WANT it. And the day before that i saw one that had my mom's initials on it. know what a fun game to play is? if you take the 3 letters on the license plate in front of you and try to guess what it stands for. Like...645-MEH could stand for.."meatball eaters headquarters" or some such.
yeah. I'm so totally sleepdrunk..XD

Whoa i'm back! :D
hey everyone!
yep. So i'm back from vacation now. It was a load of fun. we went camping for 5 days and then stayed at a resort in Avon for 7 days more. fun, ne? Anyway of course i took like a million pictures, and bought a thing of chapstick that says "Vail" on it, and stuff. ^^ I didn't go skiing.
But i did get to eat food from Nepal. o.O "Narayan's Nepal restaurant". It was REALLY REALLY good, too! kind of in-between chinese and indian food.
lessee....and i got my hair cut! nothing special.
um..and i ate sushi in beaver creek! really ritzy little tourist part of town, in the Vail valley.
And i rode a ski lift up to an amusement park at the top of a mountain. and i took a tour of some caves, which was cool.
And on the camping week, I did an 8.4 mile hike! whooOo. and totally couldn't walk all of the next day, because of blisters. and one mysterious bug-bite, right on the bottom of the arch of my foot. o.O
also on the camping week, we had big fires. XD every morning and night. it was fuuUuuun. burning...
And! while i was gone...*dun dun DUN* i drew piles of fanart!!! :D like...5 new pictures. So go see those, of course.
Evanescence has a new CD coming out, october 3rd. XD can't wait so happy!!! i pre-ordered it after listening to the samples..AMAZIIIiIing! they're rather terrible live but amazing in the studio. totally recommend it.

well isn't it BUSY now that school has started? ^^ how annoying...i liked summer...
WHOA NEWSFLASH O.O i now have 1029 votes on my artwork!!! since when did they pass 1000... anyway 10,000 years to all the people who voted and commented and etcetera. ^_^ I LOVE YOUUUUUuuUu!
so a weird thing happened since i drew naruto in a tux. o.O people have been requesting their favorite characters in tuxedos. So: i did sasuke...then i got even more requests...^.^; THERE'S JUST NO PLEASING YOU PEOPLE!!! j/k. but anyway, on the list now are Gaara, and sasuke with someone's OC..kakashi, and itachi...gyah! but hey, if enough people like the idea i just might do it. ^-^
anyway of course there is 1 new fanart of mine up! and it's not naruto! isn't that amazing..but anyway. It's one of my signature fairy drawings. all bran' spankin' new. It took so looOonng..like 3 hours..that's really long for me! i draw speedy-quick. o.O and then i hate it later. eh well. GO SEE NEW ART!!! *waves hands magically-like*
heheheh. this is real funny..i haven't even had sugar today and i'm all wired...why is that? Maybe because i'm listening to japanese techno music. :D it'll do that to ya, i'm telling you...in case you wondered, it's Utada Hikaru, with her song "traveling".
hm, so i am not going to be able to dance in belliston's production of "the nutcracker" this year...T.T you have to be taking 2 classes..and one of the only two i can take is at the same time as my church youth group, so i can't go. (no more teen ballet! it sucks.) The reason i loved ballet though, is because of the way our teacher for teen ballet danced. Very lyrical and flowing, lots of arms, sort of slow. And even the fast stuff she does is always very passionate and thought through. not just technique and talent. So really, if i take a different class, it's just not the same for me. SO! i decided to concentrate on music/fashion design now.
today I went to an open casting call for children/teens. they had you fill out papers and say your name and age into a camera; and do this little radio-commercial length coca-cola script. now usually with this kind of thing i'm really shy and mumbly, etc. But! For some reason today i did smashingly, and the guy working the camera like it a lot. So hopefully i shall be contacted by mail in 2-4 weeks, and get to be in commercials/a model /TV shows/movies, etc. Pray for me, ne? ^_^

i can sew pretty much anything, although armor is harder to work with. Basically, i want to be a character that hasn't been overdone,(nobody from naruto, etc.) that i look exactly like, and that people can still recognize. ^^ I'm really tall...5' 9".. so i can't be a cute shortie person...an i don't have bangs... but i do have really long hair that can do pretty much anything else. XD any ideas, people?
in other news:
goodness, i haven't watched anime in a long time...^.^ "That's Rubbish!" you say. yes, it's true..i've been so busy with getting into college classes..then we found out i don't have enought money to pay for them right now so i gotta wait till 2nd semester..T.T but anyway. Michelle gets to take piano lessons againNn! ^^ so happy...this one hasn't had a lesson in like 4 years..just been playing whatever she comes across..so yes. exciting. Not to mention performance oppertunities. ^-^
hmm so yeah. that is all you are going to get for now. :p if anyone wants me to do a request, simply say so, and your wildest imaginations will come truuuUueee...

haha, that's really the main reason for this post..but i guess i'll ramble about life a bit.
So i saw this movie "The Pianist" and it was really sad! but it had amazing music. So now i've got the sheet music for 2 of those songs, and i'm trying to figure them out. o.O both are Chopin..classical stuff...errgh, so hard! and confusing! but really really beautiful stuff.
and at the other end of the spectrum. XD i'm going to a friend's house friday for a 2-day-sleepover to celebrate her getting a new piano! ad of course i was instructed to bring all my music. ^_- but anyway for that friend, i'm learning some Queen songs. classic rock. Those guys were musical geniuses..if only they weren't gay people...
but anyway. I'm learning Bohemian Rhapsody and Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon. a very looooong and a very short song. ^^
as to anime..hm..well i'm getting into Kenshin now. tis pretty awesome. I liked the movie "betrayal" the best. That's where himura-kun looks the best. ^^ But i like the swordfights as well.

i guess i really don't have much of anything to say todayy..^^ i went fishing though. Didn't catch any fish. XD but i got lots of great pictures.
I have a blisterrrRrr..and it hurts..right on the inside of the knuckle joint on my left hand, pinky finger. :) i was cooking..for a long time..and stirring quite vigerously. with a bad bad wooden spoon. and now i can't draw right..(i'm left handed) eergh..dang blister! heal, already!

yeah..i started work on a new kimono now..i've put the design on the silk, and i'm ready to start dyeing, pretty soon. here's my design sketch:
it's reeeeaally sketchy..but that's the basic idea. :) i've added dragonflies in there now too.
hmMm and i want to draw something awesome and cool. like.. a samurai, or someone from Final Fantasy. But nothing comes to mind, at the moment. :) Really i want to draw Vincent again..but i can't find that many detailed picture s of him! or, they're all screenshots of his head. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. ;) but i've already drawn that, so...

hooray for love-i-ness! ^_^ yeah. Well, after you read my friend silencethedawn's most recent post, it's about all you can think about. :) woOo romantic mushy love story...the stuff this particular teenage girl is made of. ^-^
Hmm so yeah. What has been going on with everyone, lately? tell me all your hopes and fears. I've been recruited as a singer-songwriter-piano-player. o.O I need song material, people.
Last night i was watching "cinderella man" (never seen it before, LOVED it!) And I randomly decided to draw. XD didn't know what to draw though. So i just sat there with a pencil and sketchpad for like, 10 minutes. "-------" and then all of a sudden it sort of hit me, like "oh i know what i want to draw now!" It didn't come out like i imagined it in my head, though. :) but i still like it. And you can check it out in my Portfolio.
So guess what?! Michi did henna on her hands yesterday! (and the day before that.) Here Is a picture of the cool right hand palm; henna still on. (i'm left handed, so that's the easiest one for me.) And Here is the same hand right after the paste was scraped off. It's really bright orange! Then, after about 12 hours...The finished product! it's quite amazing how much it changes and darkens. Very fun to watch. ^^ and just for kicks, here is my left hand:

It took me twice as long to do as the other one... and my right hand hurt..but it came out better than the other one, somehow! Maybe because i had to slow down so much and think about it...?
