   oh yeah
hi all. :) today will be a relatively short post, as I have ranted myself all out for this week. :)
Now! there are 2 new fanarts up, 1 of Ed (FMA) as a samurai, and 1 of Inuyasha as a pirate. :D both were requests, as i am quite sure i could not think of anything so original and twisted all by myself. Also! my sister, Superdancer1992 Has 3 new fanarts up that are all VERY cute; i recommend going and checking out her page! just be warned, it's an eye-hurting shade of bright glaring pink. :)

SooOo i guess there is not much of anything special going on right now..i just got back from my dad's company's annual company picnic/pig roast. His band was playing there, and i got to play a couple of songs. :) I did "If I ain't got you" and "My Immortal". The latter was requested by my mom. I was like "nooo, I haven't done that one in like 2 years..." and indeed i forgot the second verse completely. But i did very well up until then. XD I wanted to do something crunchy, like "Animal I have become" or at least "bring me to life", but the band members are all over 40 (except for the bass player, he's like 26..he's AWESOME) and didn't know any of the songs i know. So i had to pick something that sounded ok solo piano. It is so weird singing on a microphone, because you can hear what your voice sounds like to other people..>.< I sounded better than i thought, at least. No squeaks, slides, or unwarranted pitch changes.

Yep. And i'm going hiking tomorrow with Patience Angel and Magicfingers. whoo fun! hiking is so nice, here in CO. Lovely photo oppertunities. Just hope it doesn't rain, if i bring camera/sketchpad. XD

heehee, this morning, Me and superdancer1992 and my other younger sister and my younger brother all got on our bikes and headed to king sooper's (kroger's) for pastries. :) I got a cream cheese danish, which i hadn't had in about 3 years..yummy sugar-y goodness. fuel for getting back up the hill to my house. ^^ superdancer1992 got 3 doughnuts (it was 3 for $1.01) and a soda. >< i was like "omg how can you have a soda AND doughnuts?!" Then when we got back, mom was like "well, at least you're doing cardio to work it off." Sugar only works for like, the first 200 yards though, you see..after that you're wishing you had just scarfed like a power bar or some water or something.

We also saw one of those awesome bikes where you're like laying down in a hammock-type thing but it's a bike. XD i wanna try one!
Hey, did you know halloween's only like..2 1/2 months away?!?! I wonder what i should be for halloween..i was thinking about being takiko, but no one would know who i am..i could do my yearly geisha thing, but i've done that 2 years in a row now..and tis my last official year trick-or-treating, so i want it to be special. But i want it to be something easily recognizeable, as well. Suggestions, anyone? :)
Well i think that's about it for now. sweet dreams, everyone!

Sleep tight!

Don't let the bed bugs bite!

and if they do,

pick up your shoe,

and hit 'em 'till they're black and blue.

   wide awake, feeling great
heeeheee. :) am i wide awake? i don't even know.

tis just a phrase that the hypnotist said. o.O

EeEeeew my doggie just farted and then walked away. oh well. XD what's going on with the rest of the world, eh?

so yes, of course there are 2 new fanarts up (or should be, as long as there isn't someone who reads this like RIGHT after I post it) and: *drumroll*

Michelle got 100 guestbook signings! woo yay awriiiiight! thanks very much to all the wonderful people who signed it, and whom i've made good friends with.

mmhmm so today i went to Ross. and got an awesome skirt that is a japanese brand and apparently retails at $98.00. but i got it for $10.00 because it had a *very* easily repaired bit of lace coming off. XD it rocks knowing how to sew.

MaaAan i want to make a costume..i haven't done a big sewing project in awhile, just plain white kimonos to be dyed..(booorrriiiinng) i want to make an awesome dress with a challenging bit in it, like...a built-in corset, or something. :) or even a kisuke costume for chaosalchemy-san. ^_^ i'm bored with the simplicity patterns now, i have to do crazier things. I found a dress that i wanna make that has eyelets and lacing all down the back. XD it would take me FOREVER..but i think i'm going to do it anyway. ;) i love dresses too much for my own good..the really feminine kinds that no one wears anymore, because everyone's obsessed with being comfortable now..a good rule i heard once (for ladies) was: "go through your closet. If there's something in there that your boyfriend would be comfortable wearing, throw it out/give it away."

yeah, i'm a crazy girl who rants about sewing. o.O look out world.

Since i moved from Las Vegas to Colorado (june last year) all i've been doing is ballet..but in Las Vegas, martial arts was my life. :) (i might have ranted about this last post..) so since i went to the ren fair and talked with teenage boys about swords and knifes and such, i'm getting back into the whole thing. XD getting out the eskrima sticks again..whooo fun. I don't think i'll be able to afford getting a teacher again, since the only decent one lives about an hour away..but it's nice to be at least practicing again, and reading Black Belt magazine, etc. (it's sort of cheesy but i love it anyway.)

One of my friends is trying to get me into an anime that is Yaoi...>.< just so the world knows, i'm not a shounen-ai/shojo-ai fan. at all. XD it creeps me out to see all the Sasuke/naruto yaoi fanart on here...is it really just me? aren't there any other girls out there who think gay anime characters are sort of. well. not good? XD

Courtly Love ~*Awwwwwwwww!*~

yeah. red-chan, today i was looking at sewing patterns and there was a series (if you will) called "courtly love" and it of course brought back the "washing wenches" memory. XD ahh great fun.

ok. Anyone who has had the courage to plow through my sewing blab and my martial arts rant, you get a delicious dessert of your choice. XD enjoy.
now! someone, pleeeeeease..give me a request, so that i can DRAW something. please! All i've got right now is a request to draw inuyasha as a pirate, and i'll be finished with that in like 2 hours..

hm well i suppose that's about it for now. :D bye bye everyone!

   woo the ren fair!
hi everyone. :)
well today just might be a sorta long post. first off there are 2 new fanarts of mine up; a color one of Kenshin, and a b&w of Sasuke & Naruto. I did a funny thing where i had them switch clothes. :D I'm sorry the scanner was being bad and it's not a very good picture; but it was a fun idea. I must tell you, i didn't think about it when i typed "Sasuke & Naruto" in the yahoo image search, wanting to get a better idea of what they looked like ( i haven't watched naruto in awhile, and details tend to escape me after awhile)and got a buncha yaoi pictures. o.O there were some that had very amazing artwork. and some that were just. ew. and 1 picture of like. a cosplaying naruto laying on his back and sasuke leaning over his head. apparently it's from an episode i haven't seen. o.o but you didn't need to know that.

so yep. Chaosalchemy-san invited me along to the Renaissance faire here in CO, so that was fun. I went in my takiko costume. :D (which you can see on my cosplay section.) Meh..i got sooooo sunburnt though. the back of my neck is soo bright red. XD I got told by a very nervous "samurai" (he must have been about 16-17)
that "that kimono and hakama you're wearing are AWESOME". :) it was so cute! :D it's cute when guys are nervous when they want to talk to you. (i think this was when red and I went to get lunch, chaosalchemy-san.)

Now i have not taken a martial arts class since..um. like a year. XD because there are no decent teachers within an hour of my house here in CO. Then, coming to the ren fair and going all through the weapons booth..talking to one of chaos-san's friends about different weapons, sparring matches..makes me really really want to get started again. :D I've got 2 Eskrima sticks at home..which i practice with every great once in awhile..but i don't know all that much. ahhh it's fun though.

so. The ren fair was really fun, and we saw a couple of different shows and skits, and threw tomatoes at a guy with his head stuck through a board (not me, but the other people in the group did) and talked to a passing guy who had a very awesome katana for a long time..and the guy at the knife throwing booth started speaking japanese to me (i'm only about half fluent so i understood about half. XD I was like "hey wait, i'm a bit slow today".) And! the fairies in our group got fairy glitter and bombarded "jack sparrow" who didn't like it much. XD And since i was poor and could only pay for my entrance fee, red-chan bought me lunch. love you dearie! ^^

Turns out that the fair was a looong way away from where i live. like..an hour. or a bit longer, really..so it was pretty fun. like a mini road trip. except that I got shotgun and didn't have to sit in the back of the car with the crazy people. :D (arigatou for that, chaos-san.)I just got to listen to them going crazy, and laugh, and occasionally put my 2 cents in the conversation.

whooo it's 1:23 am. i'm alll aloooooOoooone. i'm not tired though. too happy to be tired. why is that?

meh. well anyway there you go. that's your update on michi's life for the next couple of days. :D now: Goodbye, everyone! come back soon!

hmm, do i have to pick one? :D

Ring around the rosies

A pocket full of posies

Ashes to Ashes

We All Fall DOWN!!

Did you ever think about what a dark little song that is? It's written in 1881, and it's about the Black Death (bubonic plague). As a little child i used to make a ring with my other friends and go around in a circle, doing this rhyme. I never once thought about it like that, until my grandma told me about it.

I had a dream that I saw a dead man. or rather was walking along and my foot bumped him. I screamed. Which is very very rare for me, i usually just gasp and jump. I was afraid to sleep the whole rest of the night!

Now. on a lighter note. :D

Michelle got new art supplies! yay! so of course she went all-out with 2 new fanarts. I don't know if they're up QUITE yet, but you're free to go click that "portfolio" button and check it out. :)

Hmm and i'm going hiking tomorrow with my friends. early in the morning. well not REALLY early, i suppose, but. when most people are going to work, i suppose. good fun. :) And! I also bought new shoes and a camelbak-type-thing, so now i can go the DISTANCE!!! XD teeheehee. not really. i'm a rather sad outdoors-person. the farthest i've biked is 9-point-something miles..the farthest i've hiked is 6-7 miles. I can dance, and i suppose that helps. but it's so funny..i've got like the athlete legs, all crazy and bulky. and it looks so weird next to the long tall thin lean legs of the other ballerinas. ^_^ eh well. i'm constantly working on myself.

Ballet.

Yeah i've only been dancing since last august and i've decided i love ballet. :) I am taking a jazz class for the summer and just can't stand it... I'm a sort of old fashioned person, it's funny. i should have been born in like 1880. I have a very hard time doing all the crazy "let loose" type stuff you do in jazz..i'm much better at the serene, elegant ballet movements.

And I can't. Stand. Being upside down.

No siree, no backflips or handstands for me. XD

That's my sister's department! ^_^ she shook that childhood fear of breaking stuff very early. I did have a slight phase where i was a daredevil and broke my wrist rollerblading. but that was about it. Now i'm the lady who is so out-of-place in her crazy teenage society. It's so funny how all the old people say "I wish i would have known this and that when i was young" but the funny thing is: when you really do take the old people's advice and know most of what other people have had to learn by mistake..you kind of become an old person yourself. And that's not good, for a 16-year-old. ^_^; makes it very very hard to find a boyfriend, since most of them are blubbering idiots at this time in their lives.

hmm ok i suppose i'm done now. :) you can go back to your normal lives now. ^_^ byeeee everybody!

   wooOo update!
hey everybody! :)
well as usual i have 2 new arts up! :D first:
Sasuke playing the flute.
I really liked this picture when I saw it on an E-card, and so i had to draw it. :) It is a bit hurried though, because my mom wanted me to go fold laundry and i was like "just a sec!" so yeah. :) next:

Vincent, from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. Well i have to admit i watched Advent Children on youtube. XD In fansubbed Japanese, which was very good. And i really love the look of this character. It was hard drawing him, since he's a real-ish looking character, and not just your average anime bum. i'm pretty happy with the way it came out, though.

And i've also been watching the anime "Bleach" on Animeepisodes.net; i'm at 45 now, and it's getting SUPER super good! :D totally different from how it starts out. I think Zangetsu is awesome (the guy who is/lives in Ichigo's sword) and so are Renji, Byakuya, and of course Ichigo. :) Ishida is ok..i mostly like him because he has Sasuke's japanese voice actor! (i probably said that before, but oh well. :)

going hiking tomorrow, yay! the crazy 6 mile loop that I haven't done in 3 weeks. >.< ah well, it's real pretty, and it will be good to get excercise once again. This one needs to get new shoes though..^.^ all she has to hike in are some veeeerry old and very FLAT vans. XD I was looking at trail-running shoes yesterday, though. Hope to buy some before next week, or so. Since I do ballet, my arch is really high, and so i need the monster arch support of the trail running shoes. :) my sister, even more so..she has a crazy banana foot that just bends in half!

Hmm what else is new...

I have to sew a renaissance (sp?) dress for Redtigress-chan sometime before the 30th.. and i want to make a dress for me too. I'll probably just go to the ren faire in my kimono and hakama though, takiko style. :) maybe i can ninja-sneak one of chaosalchemy-san's swords. ;)

And, i'm learning how to play a couple new songs on the piano.."Fukai Mori" and "dearest" from Inuyasha..(terrible anime, great music)...and "gravity" from the Wolf's Rain Ending. Also i'm looking for a good job as a pianist somewhere in denver. :) "good luck", right? Well i ALMOST had a job playing piano at a Nordstrom, but it's too far from my house. ^_^

hmm i suppose that's all i have to say..for now..everyone go check out my art!!! :) bye now! :::hugs:::

   100 fanart mark! :D yay!
woo happy dance! :)
so yes. Clockwork Faerie has now submitted 100 fanarts! with the addition of 2 new ones today:
finally! Link, for chaos alchemy.

Yeeeah this one i started like, a month ago. XD so sorry. I was uber-busy. BUT! i shall now be happy to take requests again! or art trades, etc.
a dress design that i drew in Louisiana.

This one..hmm..i had a lot of fun with the 8 1/2 x 14 inch paper; definitely fixes my chronic short problem. ^-^ Maybe the shoulder detail and the ruffly hem together are too much; i think i should pick 1 or the other...but you tell me what you think, ne? ^_^
Yep, i think that's about it for now.

Thanks all my loyal fans!!! XD nah j/k. it would be pretty cool to have fans though.
Hey! my guestbook signatures are at 96 now. woo go all you guys who signed! ^^ you're AWESOME!
yep. now it really is it for now. BYEEE! ::heart::

Hey, everyone! Fay-chan is back, fo' real!
oh yeeah. ;)

Well, what do you think of my uber-girlie background? XD yay, ume!!! (plum blossoms).
So yes. I just got back from a lovely week-long adventure to Las Vegas. I saved up and bought my own plane ticket, and got through the Denver International Airport, and went and stayed at my best friend's house. ^^ She lived across the street from me when i lived in LV. So yeah; basically i went there to see the Pirates II movie with her; we're both big fans. We went and saw the midnight showing. fuuuUuun! and of course, we had a trip to the mall before the movie; i scored in Hot Topic with a "never trust a pirate" shirt, above-the-knee black & white striped socks, & a wristband that says "pirates arrrr cool". SUPER cheesy i know, but everyone loves it, somehow. o.O
here be a picture.
That's me, before we went for the movie. Holy crackers, i look terrible. oh well.
my best friend.
Now, as to her attire...^_^

As a funny thing, she and I had bought these playsets from Toys R' Us. because they were like, $7.00 and we were in a crazy-type mood. So she actually wore all that funny plastic junk to the midnight showing! :D It was so funny, because it was made for like, an 8 year old..^^ the headband didn't fit; we had to pin it with a safety pin..and the belt didn't fit anywhere except high on her waist, so that was where the sword went, as well...^.^ I was lame and didn't wear mine. ;) but it came with those water-and-stick tattoos, so i put one on the back of my neck that was Jack Sparrow's tattoo. (the waves with the sparrow and the sun behind it.) Ahhh great fun. AWesome movie, as well! Davy jones was a bit scary. But the part where he played the organ was awesome. And all of the girls i know love Orlando's smexeh back. XD
Bootstrap was a bit..hm. icky? ^_^ but yay, he was pretty cool anyway.

hey, wait! wasn't i talking about my trip? XD

ok: This is a picture i took out of the window of the plane; just taking off from Denver.

now. THis one is me in the pilot's seat of the plane i rode on the way back. the light is weird so you can't see any of the controls TT_TT but anyway; when i was walking out, i said to the pilot, "can i take your picture?" and he said "how about i take yours? step right in!" so i got to sit in the pilot seat in the cockpit. *happy dance of joy* it was sooo awesome! sorry the picture isn't better.

And..i guess I did do a bit of drawing in my trip, but not strictly anime related. ;) i drew my best friend as a pirate, anime style. And one of her friends. That was fun. And i drew a realism sketch of Jack Sparrow, which you can see here.
Sorry it's a bit dark.

so yeah. :) i'm still coloring that Link picture, chaosalchemy-san! ^^ don't worry. oughta be done soon. ^^;;;;;;;

uhm. i think that's about it for now! byebye, everyone! :D

   whooOo i'm back!!
yeeeah! :D

Well, i survived! *victory pose* And i have 2 new fanarts for everyone.

This little faerie was drawn somewhere in Texas. :) The bus was very very bumpyness. Well..more like the people in Texas need to keep the highways a little less full of GIANT HOLES IN THE ROAD!! *huff huff*

This Is a drawing i did of Yuko-san, from xXxHolic. She's just lounging around in her orange kimono. ;) of course, ©2006 Clockwork Faerie.

Now:

Do you want to see some pictures from Louisiana?? :D

This is the bus that we rode in aaaaall the way there and back. :D a 28-seater. We had 23 people, so empty seats made for a party. ^-^ I sat..3 rows back, on the left. window seat.

This one is kinda blurry, sorry. That would be my friend Kyle (a.k.a. Princess Dumbjob or Stupidtask). NObody can sleep properly on the bus. It's kind of the same as on an airplane. In fact the seats look like airplane ones! except..WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY SEAT BELTS!!! Wooot!

This is My sister, superdancer1992 Next to a plaster Elvis in a 50's diner somewhere in Kansas, i believe. (it might be in Oklahoma. i can't recall.) Ahh that was fun times.

This is a (somewhat) artistic picture of the cement supports that hold up the Mississippi River bridge. :) that was really neat to see...

This is one of the houses that we had to gut and clean out. The owners couldn't come back to their house for 3 months after the hurricane, and when they did come back, the water was still 4 feet deep! They said the original surge of water was 23 feet. So all the drywall/sheetrock, insulation, & carpet had to be completely taken out and "disposed" of. :D That was our job. The owners had shoveled out most of the 3-foot layer of silt, but there was still about a foot left to do. Theeen we had to knock out all the drywall (fun) and carry it out in wheelbarrows to the front of the house (not fun). and we had to take out the insulation without getting fiberglass all over ourselves.. and then we had to pull out all the nails that were holding the drywall up. @.@ It was a 2800 sq. foot house..

Ahh that made for interesting days. I'm in shape now, no question about it. ;) nothing but sandwiches and chips, and work work work. ^_^ In another house we did, we had to put IN insulation and drywall. :) i rather liked nailing up drywall, but insulation..>.< I hate with a passion. It gets all these little invisible pieces of fiberglass all over you if you shake it too much..and it's iiiiitchyyyyy...

but never mind the ballad of the insulation staple-er. ;) we'll save that for another time.

^_^ Hmm, well I don't have much else to say right now...I think i'll change my background; this one is too hard to read, isn't it?
peace out, everyone! :)

   many
hey everyone! *hugs*
Well, this is the last post you get from me before i get on a coach bus with 24 other rowdy teenagers for Slidell, Lousiana! ^_^ Our church youth group is going there to help with clean-up, and to possibly put on a Vacation Bible School for the little guys. ahhh fun times. Oh man, we got to take a joyride in the thing last night, it was sweeeeeet...like riding an airplane, but with better seats and views. :D The seats have this ghastly casino-floor fabric on them, tis funny. So, i gotta be there at the church building with all my stuff on Saturday, 6:30 am...-.-grr..tis a 2-day drive down there; 1 10/11-hour drive, and 1 22 hour drive. >.< that second day will be rough. But hey! i get to teach all the little southern children. :D

in other news, here is a fanart for you.
Clicketh!

It's not finished yet; just the line art. >.* I'm sorryy!

Hmm. Oh! and just 2 nights ago, i FINALLY got to see Howl's Moving Castle. AMAZING! :D i've watched it at every oppertunity since then. ;) This one looooves miyazaki movies to death. But Spirited Away was still the best one, i think. Although Mononoke Hime is very close. And Howl's Moving Castle is right behind them. Christian Bale was a neat Howl-sama. But i didn't like Sophie's younger voice very much; the seiyuu couldn't put much emotion into her voice. The Japanese one wasn't much better, but i looove the japanese seiyuu for Howl.
One of the best parts was when Howl dyed his hair the "wrong" color, because Sophie had re-organized the bathroom. :D you have to see it to know how funny it is!

Aaand of course, through the grace of RedTigress-san, i have read Bleach up to #6 now. XD AAAAH it's so good! it's getting very exciting. And on Youtube, i've seen up to episode 22, i think. They don't have the rest.
Hum, well i believe that's all for now! I shall post again in app. 1 week with lots and lots of pictures. ;)

love you all!

   ballet
ok first off there's 1 new fanart up! ^_^ yay!

yet another dress design by me that no one would ever wear.

now! ^_^

Tonight was Belliston Ballet's annual Spring recital production. :D Aaaand i happened to be dancing in it! so i took a few pictures and scanned the program cover for you! ^^ unfortunately for you i couldn't take pictures until after the show, so no one has a costume on still. :p although red-chan does have her scary theater make-up on still. XD

The program front and back

Me (on the right) and my friend Lucy. :) who is in our class/dance.

my 2 younger sisters, superdancer1992 on the right.

tik-chan making a silly face at me. XD

me and my smallest sister, with our sympathy roses from the florist. XD which i love, btw. thank you!

redtigress on the left. and me. she in scary theater make-up, me in my face, which is scarier. :D

so!

ahhh fun times. After all the classes, show reminds us why we put up with it all. :) at least for me. It was too much fun..i loved being out there on the stage, i wish i could do it more often! (this is SO my first performance in ballet, can't you tell?) and darkdesertrose came to watch (she is an uber-good ballerina, friend of red-chan/tik-chan, probably came to watch them more than me) so she was probably watching me like "oh ew.." but meh. :D and chaos alchemy came. :D

since our (teen ballet) dance was maybe halfway through the first act, we had to wait a loooOOoong time until the end..so we were jus' sitting there in the school cafeteria (we're performing in a school auditorium) on the floor..being bored, which as everyone here knows produces very um..interesting situations! ^_^ we were drawing faces with makeup on my friend's mirror..in general playing with makeup..^.^ we put this funny chocolate color lipstick on Lucy-chan's face, and it so looked like she had just gotten REALLY messy eating a big bar of chocolate..^.^ then we gave her a moustache with mascara, and a brown nose with that chocolate lipstick..^.^ ahh fun.

I was a bit jealous watching girls come out and having their boyfriends handing them flowers, so sweet! ^_^ I need a boyfriend. Right now i have a maybe possibly thing going on. :) *looks up to the heavens with hands together* Please, Lord...

:D

In other news today..

Nacho Libre is out, ne? ^.^ it looks very dumb but at the same time very entertaining. I love Jack Black comedy. :D King kong was lousy though. i liked School of Rock.

HMm, so next saturday i will be off on a 2-day drive to Lousiana! ^_^ staying there a week, to help with clean-up. tis a church thing. Ahh we will be going in a bus, though! XD SO muuch fun. Our youth group leader-dude hasn't ever driven a bus before, just the passenger vans we usually putz around in..oh boy..^.^

I'm at #16 of the Bleach anime now, and #105 of Naruto! ^_^ thanks to red-chan i've also read up to #4 of bleach. Good stuff. :) i love that anime now. And *squee* the japanese voice for Ishida Uryuu (in bleach) is the same guy that does Sasuke from Naruto...he has such a gorgeous voice, i love it! XD
i pretty much had a heart attach watching Naruto #82. 0_o especially since it was japanese unedited..ooh man..Kakashi-senseiiiii!

hum well i think you've had enough of my performance-induced ramblings, so i'm going to go now. :D have a great week everyone!
~Michi
