w00t a video!
well, Chaos Eidolon had written for the last post: "BAch! this is no long post!" true. XD it was going to be when i started, and then i forgot what i was thinking about. @.@ i'm weird. ANyway this update is just to say found an AWESOME AMV on Youtube and i put it on my profile. It's queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" set to a whole buncha trigun clips. really quite amazing, but if you haven't seen the whole series, there is a spoiler warning. ^_^ have fun peoples!

HI, everyone! ^_^
ok, it's time for another looong post. :D
there are 2 new fanarts up, 1 requested and one that i drew of vash looking bored, because i was bored. :) If it tain't up yet, COME BACK LATER!!!!! because YOUR OPINION MATTERS TO ME! ^_^ Lately i've just been drawing Vash and sailormoon....Yuu Watase stuff hasn't had the same appeal lately, since finding trigun. gyahh, red-chan, you spoiled meeeeee!
but i think that one i drew of Vash where it was uber-sad drawing it...that was my piece de resistance right there, i will never draw something that good ever again. T.T So now i'm like "hmm whatever SHALL i draw..."
Ah yes, big news: we got a puppy today! I shall post a picture of him as soon as i can. he's an Inuit dog, cream colored, with a tail that curls around and straight up ears. cute. :) The family named him "Jedi". I would have probably used a japanese name if it were up to me, but no one else in my family would get it. like....yuki, or inu-chan, or something of the sort. aaand...*sniff* i MIIIIISSSS me kittyyyyyy! I like cats, and they like me, and...i just don't know if a dog will like me. i need a cuddle-y animal!
hrmph.
got the dye put on the silk today; going to steam it tomorrow (the steaming fixes the dye to the silk). so far it seems to be working ok, the dyes aren't bleeding in weird ways anymore. when i get the doggie picture up, i'll put a picture of the silk-dyeing piece up, too.
I wonder if there'd be any good money for me if i made cosplay costumes for people??? ^_^ As long as there's no armor, I can do pretty much anything....hardware not exactly being a specialty of mine. :) i can do stuff with wire though...and crazy hairstyles. you dissolve some gelatin (same stuff that's in jell-o) in hot water, an comb it through your hair, and you can get ANY hairstyle, no matter how gravity-defying, to stay like that until you step in the shower. :D tis fun. I am being takiko next halloween, but i want to do someone else all up as a geisha. :) then they could look PERFECT! ^_^ it's hard for me to do the right hair on myself... and SO MUCH EASIER to put a kimono on someone else, as well...
remember last time i wrote that my contacts weren't focusing right?? well, *stupid grin* it seems that i had put on one pair over another. XD ( i wear the kind you gotta take out every night) so i had forgotten that i still had them in when i went to put on new ones. go figure. It does interesting things to your vision.
hum. that's about it for now, i suppose. byebye, everyone! and have a good friday/weekend!

w00000t sugar high, at 8:11 AM
hiiii, peoples! ^_^
so, what's up lately? I have put yet ANOTHER new background up; this one seems to be the best one so far. VASHY-KUN!!! yay~ ^^
so, i didn't even remember this when i drew the sailor senshi in ice-skating clothes, but there actually was an episode where they all went ice-skating! (yes, it's true, i used to be a moonie. :) and there was this idiot monster that tried to kill them all, but unfortunately, died in the process. what can you do...
My contact lenses are doing a strange thing this morning where they don't focus where i'm looking until about 1/2 a second AFTER i look there. it's very very strange....maybe they're inside out, or something?
Most girls ramble on about their boyfriends right about here....unfortunately for the homeschooled, no boyfriend to ramble about. :) I have a crush, but that's it for right now. ^.*
i'm out of drawing inspiration, once again...if i were a car, there'd be a little "E". ^.^ aaaaaaaugh, what to draw?!?! I think i've drawn one too many vash's...teehee :p i can draw him better than any anime girl though! it's strange. I'm LOSING my TALENT!!! *runs around in circles randomly bumping into things*
bwahaha, this is what happens when michelle-chan has a cinnamon roll for breakfast. >=)
I really oughta take some pictures of the scenery here in the CO mountains...utsukushii desu, ne! ^^ (beautiful, isn't it!)
have you ever been walking down the stairs and you kinda lose the thought that you are walking down the stairs for a minute, and you fall forward? >.< this happened to me, luckily, on the 3rd step up. :) so i only slipped a little and grabbed the handrail. But it was scaaaaaarrryyyyy!!
See, i have these weird moments where if i get up too fast from laying down or sitting down, my vision will all go rainbow-y except for like, a 2 inch square right in front of me, and i don't have any equilibrium for about 30 seconds. most of the time i'll grab something in time, but occasionally i'll just kinda plunk down on the floor, simply because i can't see or balance. :) 1 time, i was just standing there and the next thing i knew i was flat on my back on the floor! Creepy.
wellll this has been an uber-long post, with nary a fanart in sight! kudos and cookies and cheesecakes to you if you read this whole saga about my life. :) have a good day, or night, or whatever it is! ^_^ mata ne!

hey everyone! ^_^
alright: happy easter, everyone! *throws confetti and hard-boiled eggs* huzzah for Jesus! :)
back to the anime:
(#1) I drew a sailormoon fanart for a change, and posted it, so go check it out.
(#2) I have now seen Trigun episodes 11 through 24, and i think it nearly killed me. The manga is better, but i've only read 1,2, and then trigun maximum 1, 2, & 3. (there are 8). So now i think i'm going to buy the manga. And then red-chan can come and steal it from me. XD
(#3) the japanese voice actor for Vash has this amazing voice, it's smexeh!!!
(#4)I was going to draw some of the flowers in my backyard today, but whenever i got within 10 feet a swarm of bees attacked. 0_o so, no pretty flowers today.
(#5) I wore my takiko clothes to church this morning, and got many a compliment and many a strange stare. ( i regularly wear japanese clothes to church.)
(#6) I got my silk-dyeing sample done today; i'll put a picture of it up after i take the sizing off.
(#7) I just now ate 10 bite-size 3 musketeers, and am in serious need of water.
(#8) I'm not getting very much attention to my artwork...perhaps i should draw a more popular anime than trigun? like, naruto, or FMA, or something? But that's what everyone else is drawing, at the same time.... I see those people who get like, 81 comments on their artwork and go "wow! i wish i could do something like that!"
(#9) i'm whiny today, aren't I?
(#10) ah, the last one! I have changed my background. :) do you like it? and if not, what could i put there to make it better?
bye everyone!

hey m8ties! ^_^
sorry, it's just too much fun to say that. :)
WELL!
let's see, today is the start of easter break, so I slept in until like, 9:00 am, had breakfast, aand drew. Oh! and last night i drew yet another Vash fanart. >.< i can't NOT draw detailed artwork; it kills me to do simple stuff, so maybe that's why i like drawing vash, with all the crazy buckles and metal and fabric and spiky hair. XD come check it out!
note; it's the same picture as on the background.
it was so sad drawing this picture though..T.T i almost did cry when i read it! (tis a scene from the manga) i had to read trigun #2 about 4 times before i understood it. XD <---- slow learner
keeping on track: then i drew another fanart that has sailormars from Sailormoon in her shinto-priestess clothes next to a pine tree. :) it's not up at the moment of my writing this; but go check the portfolio, it's probably there.
I got to draw this one outside today, when it was about 75 degrees with a warm breeze, at about 11:00 am. heavenly....^_^ then it got hot in the afternoon..e.e WAIT! what am i SAYING?! it's APRIL, for goodness' sake! and me, a native las-vegan!!! i must be turning coloradan...or denver-ite, or a mountain-woman, or whatever you want to say.
I don't think my new song works...if you want to hear it though, just look on limewire or i-tunes. i really like it; it's jazzy. ^_^
well, i think that's about all for now, everyone. :) enjoy nice weather, if you got it, and don't stop drawing! mata ne!

hey everyone! now that i've given my little wolf-y his daily steak:
i decided, this lovely evening, while browsing e-bay, to type in the word, "trigun." 0_o it was rather dangerous. XD they had those cool wolfwood cross necklaces, messenger bags with vash and the little cat on 'em, cosplay vash glasses, guns....dvd sets (these were the most tempting)....etc. if i ever have a million dollars, i know where i'm going!! ^.^
ballet was nothing special today; simply checcetti (a technique class) where we do the same thing every time, every class. I pulled a muscle in my leg when i was jumping though. not very fun. AND AND AND! they finally tuned the piano at the ballet studio! *dies of happiness* it soundeth lovely now...
want to look at some super-great furisode?! XD DO YA DO YA DO YA?!?! seriously though, these are pretty amazing. and to find out the price, take 2 digits away from the yen prices. yikes. so, ¥580,000 would be $5,800. yep. New kimono aren't cheap in Japan.
ice cream....
mm that was a random thought. don't ask where it came from.
I've been considering drawing something from digimon, simply because i haven't in awhile (and i have a request to fill from quite a while ago) aaaaand not to make anybody mad here >.- but about half of the fanart on theO isn't exactly highest-caliber. THERE! I SAID IT!!! >.< mine isn't the best, but come oN!
well that's michelle's rant for tonight. more will likely follow after tomorrow's teen ballet lesson. rock on, fellow pirates!!! ;o

hiya folks :)
arr m8ties! ^.^
well, there's FINALLY a new fanart up for y'all. so go check it out. :) The first lady i've drawn in awhile...i don't know why, for like a week i couldn't draw anything but guys! intriguing, i know.
I've just finished reading the actual book; Phantom of the Opera. (by gaston leroux.) It's a really good story! in some ways, i like it better than the movie/musical, and in some ways the movie's better. 1 thing though; after reading it, i remember the wishbone version ^.^ Wishbone was a goofy little show on PBS like..uhm...6 years ago, or something like that. Where there was a goofy little doggie that talked, and he was the main character in all these classic books, like phantom of the opera, the odyssey, cyrano de bergerac ( i DON'T know how to spell that, so sorry), the story with King Midas, etc. It was really cute. :)

just wondering: HOW did the idea come up that witches should ride brooms, anyway??? it's been puzzling me all day! I was listening to my audiobook of "the Subtle Knife" (by phillip pullman) and yep, there were witches, except they were riding tree branches. 0_o someone explain this...
Some friends of mine from church are coming over on the weekend to sing while i play piano..*sigh* these are the best fun in the world...you kind of have to do it to understand; it's amazing that the 3 of us can be doing completely different things and it will still sound pretty good ;) the two of them are 20 years old, so they sing waaaay better than me, so when they come over and sing it's like "as you wish, sahib". *bow* :) i'm feeling crazy-ish-ness...
Also, i'm going to the art store (guiry's) in about 40 minutes..and this is more like a fine art store than a Michael's; there's no cute yarn and buttons and hot-glue guns. :) there's a home deco store upstairs, and you go downstairs, and all you see are brushes, paints, papers and canvases of every possible shape and kind, inks, markers, drawing materials, easels, matboards...it's really fun. :) and totally dangerous; i could spend my whole paycheck there...today i'm going for some brushes and some metallic stuff you use on fabric.
well, i haven't drawn anything in awhile. T.T I'M SORRYYYYY! i seem to have lost my sudden burst of inspiration, and i don't think you want to see yet ANOTHER Vash fan-art...i can't help it, though! I can draw him and get so much expression, it's really quite amazing...hooray, Yasuhiro-san, for creating Trigun! :)
it's super-nice outside today, in the outdoor state of Colorado; especially since i live pretty much in the mountains. :) the air is cleaner up here, or something..and it's much quieter than in the city; (when i lived in Las Vegas it was pretty noisy and nasty) and here there are of course a lot more trees than in Las Vegas, so you can hear the wind blowing through them...^^ this sounds sort of cheesy in writing, but really, there isn't too much else that can make me happier than being outside in the peaceful colorado mountains...we just have so much noise and stress in our everyday lives, it's important to move away from that sometimes, i think.

my average life
hrm...well..let's see: i don't have any new fanart today (huzzah, i hear you say) My sister and I slept on the couches last night; apparently, we looked like crash-test dummies in the morning. ^.^ We were watching a Kurosawa movie, "Kagemusha". yay for old samurai movies!!!! ^_^
aaand i am getting all the birthday presents for friends who's birthdays are coming up...lessee...so far, i think it's 3..
and and and! today while talking on the Immortal Geisha forums, someone put up a link for a black kimono that has mice and spiderwebs on it! and it's SO COOL! it already sold, though. T.T i'll have to keep the design in mind..
aaand i got trigun maximum #2 & #3 from the library, which are both really good and have amazing art :D I saw the anime first (thanks redtigress!) and i was like, "yay! Vashy-kun!" but then you read the manga, and it's like..0_o 10 times better... a lot of people like wolfwood. i think he's ok. :) i haven't seen the anime him yet, though, so my opinion is based on trigun maximum. :D
well that's about it for now; i have a trip to Kyoto with Susan to take. XD mata kondo!
