yay new book!
Hi everybody. :D
So how's life for you guys? ok? pretty boring? spectacular? positively spartan? Don't answer that. ;) Anyway it's going pretty much ok for me; a new big book of fiction about vampires, new sheet music to dig into, and a singing audition tomorrow. (yikes.) BUT i have picked a song that i'm good at and it ought to be pretty ok. And i promise not to go beserk if they don't pick me. :D:D:D
The new book is by Robin McKinley, and it's called Sunshine. It's a super spectacular book and very oo-I-can't-wait-what-happens-next. I'm only about 2/3 through it at current. next fanart's going to be a vampire, just sayin'. :) Which reminds! There's a fanart request somebody asked me to do of Amy and Hotaru from Sailormoon; and so that fanart is up, if you want to go see.
OoooO and that bolt of fabric i mentioned last time? *happy dance* it came in the mail!!!! XD aaah so happy. So it shall be a beautiful kimono soon. Not to mention it will actually be tall enough for me! A rare occurance for the 5' 9" dancer. (i'm too tall for ballet, actually! Maybe i should take up modeling..)
Ugh and of course it is snowing AGAIN, here in littleton, CO. Upon taking a break from sledding this morning, i decided to dig a hole down to where the ground was. It was 2 1/2 feet deep, and it hasn't stopped snowing yet. XD I forgot what grass looks like...
Hrm and my dog is eating an eggshell, so I better go get it from him. Byes!
