Wyoming tour
Hi all! ^.^ I'm back!
Perhaps I forgot to tell you? Well I went to Cheyenne, Wyoming with the Singing Youth of Denver for a youth rally-type thing and we had a concert there. We had to leave the university church by 6:00 am, so i was up at like...4:30, and it takes 25 minutes to get there...but once we got there it was great fun; because we have this 50-seater school bus that is our tour bus. :) And you cozy up with your best friend and it's great fun. And for some reason, i just LOVE road trips; so the 2 1/2 hours to get up there was really fun. The youth rally was at a junior high-school, so we had class or whatever until lunch, and then ate lunch (mm mexican) and then SYD sang after lunch (bad.) the auditorium was VERY 70's; there was this great big orange velvet curtain behind us, and we used the school's risers, which were turquoise-carpeted. special, huh? But anyway. After that we went to a YMCA and swam in the pool, and then we went to the local mall and had dinner (and in my case, split a bar of mint swirly fudge with my friends). We stayed in the church members homes that night, so it was really fun. The family i stayed with had 2 girls, 14 and 12, and they did gymnastics, so we were doing bendy things all night. :) And then of course we went to church in Cheyenne Sunday morning, then they had pizza for us after, then we got on the bus and went to Loveland for our next concert. Since we had time in-between concert and arrival, we went to the factory outlet mall, which was great fun.
So then last concert was Sunday night at 6:00 pm, and we were totally shot from singing like, all throughout the youth rally, and our concert, and sunday morning church. But it still sounded pretty good. After that, the Loveland church of christ had a potato bar for us (it was fun; get a baked potato and put everything on it, in a buffet-style kind of way). And of course there was hackie-sack. :)
Tour is great though because i got to know everybody so much better.
Hey, why is this: Girls try to be popular, and they work hard to get there; but boys just ARE? It's like they don't have to do anything; just whoever is the funniest, or whatever. I wish it were that easy for me. :) But that's all i do anyway, so perhaps 'tis why i'm not the most-popular. ^^ But as long as you have friends, then that's a good thing.
Wow, a cookie for you if you read this whole thing. :) I wish i could say i have new fanart for you, but i gave it away to my family that i stayed with. ^.^; Perhaps next time. Ja ne!
~Michi
