   w0000t!
eheheh. hi, everybody!

I LIVE! ("but you were only 'dead' for like...2 days", i hear you say) ahem. yes. but THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT! what is...

well, I've got 2 new fanarts up now! so that the WORLD can know my AWESOMENESS! :)

ok: the 1st one is that elf lady i had drawn before; except for now i watercolored her in all pretty-like. :) sorry for the water-warped shadows on the paper; i had drawn it intending to colored-pencil it, but my favorite red-brown colored pencil is missing, and i didn't want to make it look less pretty than i imagined it when i started, so i ripped out the sketch paper from the sketchbook and painted it in. :) I had a hard time getting the red cape to look as dark-velvet as i wanted it to; I ended up using some dark red-browns and blacks to shade it. I'm so happy since getting a bunch of artist's grade winsor & newton watercolors though...it makes such a big difference! the colors are so much clearer & prettier!

now, the next fanart:

My first ever naruto fanart!

yayyy! of Kakashi! w00ta! ^_^ you will most likely burn me for it, though. :D it's not very good.

SO crimson_zombie asked me yesterday to "draw a wicked cool kakashi". :) well, i watched like, 3 different kakashi AMV's on youtube so i could get an idea of how he looked and how i wanted to draw him, how he moved, stands, etc. It proved to be quite a challenge. :)

alright; go and see it before you keep reading:

now: I have NEVER seen Kakashi use a sword (katana) (but then, i've only seen up to episode..14?) but i thought it would be cool. And i was trying to find something that would make my fanart different from the other ones. :) Aaand of course i had to draw the scar and spiffy red eye (even though i don't know what it is officially called yet, or anything like that.)
"but, why does the drawing stop at the waist?" you say? well. XD i cannot draw derrieres. there you go! and i did try about 5 times, before erasing and deciding it just couldn't be done. It is really weird for me, drawing people from Naruto, because they are more accurately proportioned. :) see, i'm used to drawing shojo ladies who have legs a mile long and skinnier than toothpicks. And then along comes a short japanese character like kakashi, and well...i'm gonna need some practice, let's just say that. :)
hum...ballet today...going to wear a kimono while i have my hour-long wait, because a friend wants to see it...hope i get my geta today...(i mail-ordered some japanese geta sandals)
Aaand let's see: progress with my silk-dyeing kimono is going quite well; i've put the kimono together and right now i'm drawing on the design with a prettyful light-blue fabric marker...which is taking a long time, CURSES on me and my detail obsession....

I suppose that's it for now. :) thanks to all my fans who read my stuff! :) even if you don't call yourselves that.

mata ne!
