   Making Your own videogames.
Yes as I wrote on the homepage, I was going to be a Game Designer/Developer. So I posted this subject for people that have their own ideas to create your own dream or planned one. To start things off, I'll tell you mine. Sure its long but worth while to read about. Yeah the game I planning was going to be a Square-Enix game. For those of you who played action/adventure types with a little RPG elements and survival horror then this is cool. Its called DRAGOKNIGHT (DRAGON NIGHT) and this is what that type of game it is. First you want to know the plot and story, so its a brief summary. It setting starts out about around medievel England, where a strange incident occured around about monsters that came from the Forbidden land, a place that bridges between England and French borders which soon will collapse and become the English Channel body of water. Now these beasts roam in this land for travelers and merchants go through for a certain chance of life or death. How these monsters do not get out of this land so it makes things easier. However a month passed after King Arthur was crowned to the throne, many reports have been recorded that strange beasts are attacking and ravaging the countryside. The king sent in his troops to ivestigate near the border of the Forbidden Land. 3 weeks passed, none returned except for one scout who was near death from bleeding telling the king what went wrong on their mission. The king heard the bad news and assembled his army to defend England as well as the neighboring nations. While in the middle of catastophe, a young man named Micheal, was hunting for boars in the woods, he noticed smoke in the bright autumn sky. The direction came from his home village. He quickly dashed the village with uncertainty of an attack by enemy troops or bandits. He arrived and saw what layed before him. Fire and corpses were everywhere. Now with fear and anger he drew his rusted sword to find and expect the horrors ahead of him. Skip on and tell you that the protaganist father's secret and gained the power of dragons on his right arm.(Sounds familiar?)
Anyway lets talk about gameplay. You start the game with a RUSTED SWORD, and LEATHER VEST. In this game it revolves around strategy and combat. You attack with the square button. (X) is to jump. Later after you gain the DRAGON ARM, you can be able to retreive GEM SOULS out of fallen enemies, SOUL DOORS, or the enviroment. GEM SOULS are pretty much like souls in DMC,Onimusha,GOW etc. But collecting orbs like KH. Each soul has a different color and a different affect, Red upgrades your magic, weapons, items, etc. Yellow recovers your HP. Green recovers magic, and Blue is used to fills up DRAGON SOUL gauge.
