Hey I'm back!
Yep, I survived All States. Phew. Man, I'm wasted. My shoulder is in serious pain from holding up that huge heavy viola and my fingers are rough from playing. But I survived.
It was a lot of work, but I guess it payed off at the end. The music was beyond cool-- for classical-- and the conducter was great, if a bit strange. One of the pieces had a bunch of tempo changes called Animato Assai and so my friends and I made a joke of it because we thought that it sounded like the name of a samurai guy. So whenever the conducter said "We're starting at the first Animato assai," we would crack a samurai grimace and exclaim "ANIMATOOO ASSSAAIII!!!!" My friend also wrote "Beware Animato Assai Man" on the black board with a little evil smiley face beside it. The conducter thought it was referring to him and he got really pissed, until we explained it to him. Hehehe.
Other than that, the first day was killer but the next two weren't too bad. I'm just glad to be home. With my anime. I've been anime-deprived these last few days.
Which brings me to the next subject: does anyone know where I can find anime music to download on my computer? (like the Trigun theme song or something?) I don't know if it'll work on my old machine, but I want to try.
Happy FMAing and Zatch Belling tonight!
