A Promotional bit for my hometown
If you seen the movie called Miracle, starring Kurt Russell, some scenes of Downtown Lake Placid (Main Street of Lake Placid, the registration building, the outdoor skating rink) and when Kurt's character is getting a present for his wife in his hometown, is actually my hometown of Rossland, British Columbia. Rossland is a city with about four thousand people and great mountians to ski and bike on. When you are not busy biking or skiing, you can visit the quaint shops and restaurants or experience the Friday and Saturday nightlife (you must be 19 years old to do that). Also, you can do the historical tour of Rossland and take a tour of an old mine/museum at the junction near Rossland.
