Here is your night, and how he asked you! **~*~**How he asked you**~*~** You were running for Transfiguration. You hadn't been having a very good week. The Yule Ball was tomorrow and you still didn't have a date. Your alarm clock didn't go off this morning and your hair was a wreck since you didn't have time to brush it. You were just rounding the corner when BAM! You smacked into someone and your books and papers and quills spilled all over the floor. You looked up into the eyes of the person who had run into you. It was Harry Potter in all his green eyed glory, looking straight at you. "Sorry," he said quickly starting to pick up your stuff. "No problem. I was just running to Transfiguration, and wasn't really looking where I was running. Sorry," You said very quickly, blushing madly since Harry had been your crush since you were a first year. You were both 4th years and in Gryffindor, and you saw a lot of him since Hermoine was your best friend. Once you got your stuff all together and organized again, you got back up and started walking to class, since you were already 10 minutes late. Harry grabbed your arm. "________ I was wondering if you had a date to the Ball tomorrow." Harry said, still holding your arm. "No, I havent been asked yet." You lied, since you had been asked, but wanted Harry. Even Draco had asked you. "Would you like to go with me? I've been wanting to ask you for a while now, but haven't since I've been really busy." He finished, letting go of your arm but stepping a bit closer. You could see him blushing, and you could feel your own face burning up. "Sure I'd love to!" You said very cheerfully, even maybe too cheerfully. "Great," he said, smiling at you. "I'll meet you in the Great Hall tomorrow then." He finished, kissing you on the cheek and then walking away. You looked at the clock with your hand on the spot where he had kissed you. You were now 15 minutes late, but you didn't care. You hadn't tried your dress on yet, so you ran up to your dorm to make sure it fit, and what make-up you would want to wear. You totally forgot about Transfiguration. **~*~**Your Yule Ball Night!**~*~** You were in a beautiful red dress, your hair straightened with sparkly red eye shadow on. As you were walking out of the Common room you noticed everyone was looking at you with wide eyes. "I hope Harry likes how I look," You thought to yourself while running to the Great Hall even though you werent late, but just wanted with Harry. When you got to the Great Hall, you stopped running, straightened out all the ruffles in your dress, checked your make-up and hair, and then went down the stairs elegantly, looking for Harry. He was at the foot of the stairs, looking at you and smiling. "You you you look great!" He managed to get out, his mouth dropping open a little bit. He took your arm and you joined the other Tri-Wizard Champions. He danced a bit awkwardly which made you laugh, and he laughed too. You danced most of the evening, but took a break to walk around the garden to relax. He held your hand while you walked and you finally sat down by the lake and you leaned into him. He held you and you fell asleep in his arms, tired from dancing, and enchanted by the smell of his cologne. When you woke up it was 3:00 am and you could still hear people dancing inside the castle. Harry had his head rested on yours. He was asleep. "Harry, Harry," You said gently shaking his shoulder to wake him up. "Yes," he said rather groggily, smiling at you. "It's 3 am. We better be heading back to our dorms." You said, taking his hand and starting to get up. He followed you, but when you got to the main hall your favorite song was playing.
