Chapters 5 & 6

The Oblivion Legacy

Chapter 5: The Preliminary Rounds! Part 1: Mind Over Matter


After a day passed by when Crazy Kev and his friends got to the tower, they started discussing about the invasion The Elemental Titans are planning.


Jacob: "We should inform Kakashi about this.."

Ted: "Yeah, right before the the last part of the exams..."

Crazy Kev: "I'm not sure, I mean, Konoha isn't protected that much right now!"

Ted: "Then...We're screwed!"

Jacob: "But doesn't Konoha have allies?"

Crazy Kev: "The Elemental Titans probably have an army way more powerful than Konoha and it's allies put together."

Meanwhile..

Karzar: "Ok, we're at the tower, now let's call out the invasion! Mwahahahahaha!!!!"

Veskar: "Not now! We can't bring out suspicion!"

Sniper: "Awwww!!! You're no fun!"

Karzar: "Yeah! What Sniper said!"

Veskar: "But we will soon enough.."

Meanwhile...Again.

Skayne: "Ok..We're at the tower now, let's call out the invasion!"

Neo: "Certainly!" *takes out a communicater*........"Alright men! the invasion starts now! You may proceed the attack of Konoha!"

Skayne: "So, when are they coming!"

Neo: *pissed of face* "In six hours they said!"

Skayne: "SIX HOURS! I can't wait that long!"

Kroshin: "Well......This sucks!"

Meanwhile, at the Death Blade Gang's base..

Soldier: "General, is there any other way to get to Konoha quickly."

The throne spins towad the soldier and it appears to be some seven foot tall android-cyborg like person sitting on the throne.

General Blade: "Ah yes, but we would need to take out a couple battalions of soldiers since the XC-Thrust can hold only a certain amount of people."

Soldier: "Not a problem General! Will get to that right away!"

General Blade: "Excellent! This is going according to plan!....But I will need some of the best to make sure this job will be accomplished!....And I got just the ones! Mwahahahahahahahaha!!! *walks away*

Meanwhile, at the chunin exams...

Ted: "I think we should open the scrolls right now."

Crazy Kev: "Yeah, why not." *opens the scrolls*

After Crazy Kev opened both scrolls, POOF! Kakashi apeared.

Crazy Kev: "Kakashi?"

Kakashi: "Oh, hello everyone! As usual, once you open the scrolls, a higher ranked ninja will appear and congratulate you on passing the second part of the exams."

Crazy Kev: "Are we done with our mission yet?"

Kakashi: "No, not yet Kevin. There's still one more part of the mission you must complete."

Crazy Kev: "What is it then?"

Kakashi: "It's to compete in the preliminary round of the Chunin Exams, since we've never had this many ninja pass this part of the exam."

Crazy Kev: "Ok...But will someone please tell me when it's time for me to fight, I'm gonna take a little break at the village." *disappears*

Jacob: "Shouldn't Kevin stay here instead?"

Kakashi: "I think Kevin knows his way around....Well anyway, I'm off. Good luck!" *Disappears*

Jacob: "I'm guessing that Kevin is at a restaurant, eating so much food that it's gonna make the restaurant out of business."

Ted: "Maybe. Or he's probably flirting with some hot chicks."

Jacob: "Or he could be doing both....Come on, let's hurry up to the preliminaries."

While Jacob and Ted hurry to the preliminaries, and Kevin is at the village taking a break, Sniper is repeatedly nonstop asking Karzar when to call out the invasion.

Sniper: When can we call out the invasion, Huh? *Says the same thing repeatedly nonstop*

Karzar: "Veskar, where's that lead pipe you found on the floor?"

Veskar: "Why?"

Karzar: *takes the led pipe out of Veskar's hands* "Because, watch!"

SMACK!!!!

Karzar: "Ah! Much better!"

Veskar: "You do realized you knocked Sniper out cold."

Karzar: "Yep! He should wake up in an hour or two."

Veskar: "Come on, let's get going!"

30 minutes later, after a ninja explained everything about the preliminary rounds.

Ted: "Ok, this is bad! What if Kevin named is called but is no where in sight."

Jacob: "Relax. We got the walky-talky you gave us."

Ted: "Jacob.....Kevin's walky-talky is out of range from our's right now."

Jacob: "Okay, this is bad...........I got it! You'll find Kevin as soon as they call of his name. You know that Tracking Jutsu Kakashi taught us."

Ted: "Oh yeah!"

Meanwhile, at the village..

Crazy Kev: *whistles and walks randomly in every direction* "Hmmmmm....I wonder if any restaurants are open at this time..."

After Crazy Kev went to all the restaurants in the village and other random stuff, it's now down to the last ten ninjas.

Preliminary Examiner: "Ok, we are now down to the last ten ninjas. Skayne, Neo, Kroshin, Kevin, Hitomi, Ted, Jacob, Sniper, Karzar, and Veskar."

Ted: "Come on Kevin, hurry up!"

Hitomi: "Hi guys, what's up!"

Jacob: "Oh, hi Hitomi."

Hitomi: "How's it going, I'll I wanted to say is good luck to you all and...Hey, where's Kevin?"

Jacob: "Oh. He's at the village, taking a break..Even though he should've been back a while ago."

Hitomi: "Let's just hope so before they call his name."

Jacob: "Yeah, well..Good luck on the preliminaries to you as well."

Hitomi: "Thanks!"

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright then, now we will have our next contestants."*the tv screen says Jacob and Neo* "Alright, will Jacob and Neo please step up."

Ted: "Kick his butt Jacob!"

Jacob: "That was the first thought in my mind!"

Skayne: "He doesn't look strong from what I can tell."

Neo: "Yeah, but you should never judge a book by it's cover."

Kroshin: "Just kick his butt so we can get the invasion started"

Neo: "Just watch."

Preliminary Examiner: "Jacob, Neo, if you both are ready, then we can start the match."

Neo: "Ready!"

Jacob: "Ready!"

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright, you may begin!"

Neo: "Ok, since I'm in a hurry, I'm gonna make this quick so....Die now! *throws a storm of shuriken at Jacob*

Jacob: "Aeroga!" *A shield of wind cover him and deflects the shuriken*

Neo: "So, you're a magic user, very well then, but you're not the only one that has a trick up his sleeve." *runs at Jacob and tries to punch him*

Jacob: *dodges the punch* "Is that the best you got?"

Neo: "Hehehe! You'll find out soon enough."

Skayne: "So, he's using that trick already then...This should be interesting."

Jacob: "You know what, I'm gonna quickly finish you so.....what's happening..I'm seeing everything in different colors and in different shapes.....What did you do to me!?"

Neo: "Hehehe! You see, when I punched you, I purposely missed because I have microscopic needles inside my gloves that effect the retina and the rods and cones as well..But you're wondering, how could they of gone through your glasses you say, simple. They can pierce through objects as strong as steel.

Jacob: "I'm screwed for sure!"

Neo: "Oh yeah, you are!" *punches Jacob on the face*

Kroshin: "Neo better finish him of fast because those needles eventually disolve and wear off quickly."

Neo: "And now for the grand finally!" *takes out a sword*

Ted: "COME ON JACOB! DON'T USE YOUR EYES TO BEAT HIM!!! USE THAT SPECIAL TECHNIQUE KEVIN TAUGHT YOU!"

Jacob: "But I don't have a pie though!.......But that doesn't mean I can make one! *casts a spell to create a pie*

Neo: "A pie?.....Let me guess, you're gonna throw it at me. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhaha!!! Did you forgot, you can't see clearly!"

Jacob: "I don't need eyes to win....This pie will make me win!" *throws the pie at Neo's feet*

Neo: "What's that? Was that your finishing move? Because if it was, a toilet can do one better than that!"

Jacob: "You'll see!"

Neo: "See what?......What's happening to to my feet? They're stuck!"

Jacob: "That pie was no ordinary pie...It was a sticky pie Kevin taught me how to create.

Neo: *struggles*

Jacob: "It's pointless, the pie splatter is as strong as concrete!"

Neo: (Damn I'm screwed!)

Jacob: "Ah yes, my vision is finally clearing up!....And now, time to end this match once and for all...Firaga! *Shoots a huge fireball out of his hands*

Neo: "Need...To...Get..Out of pie splatter!" *gets hit by the fire ball* "AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!.......I'm...Done for!" *falls to the ground*

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright, Neo is unable to battle, Jacob wins this round."

Ted: "That was awsome!!!....Why didn't Crazy Kev teach me that sticky pie ability?"

Jacob: "Hehehe...Don't worry Ted, I'll teach you after the exams...."

Neo: "Sorry guys, truely I am.."

Skayne: "Forget about it! It doesn't matter which one of us wins. Because the invasion is gonna make an early visit!"

Neo: "What do you mean?"

Skayne: "Oh, base called us and said they'll be here in 2 to 3 hours."

Neo: "Excellent! Now our plan will work indeed!"

Kroshin: "Excactly!"

Preliminary Examiner: "Now, for the next match, will the next contestants please step up." *the tv screen says Hitomi and Veskar*

Hitomi: "Great! It's my turn!"

Karzar: "Remember Veskar, don't use any of your Elemental techniques. If you do, there goes our chance of invading Konoha."

Veskar: "I know, which is why I plan on using my illusion techniques to wipe that girl out of the competition."

Sniper: "Oh, and use these!" *gives Veskar grenades* "They're high in protein and carbohydrates"

Veskar: *stares at Sniper blankly* "WTF!...But I will take those grenades."

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright, Hitomi, Veskar, are you both ready?"

Hitomi: "Yep!"

Veskar: "Yeah..."

Preliminary Examiner: "Then you may begin!"


The Oblivion Legacy: Chapter 6: The Preliminary Rounds! Part 2: Size Matters Not!

Veskar: "This will be easy!.....Well, better end this while I can.." *does a bunch of hand signs* "Illusion Clone Jutsu!" *5 clones appear*

Hitomi: "Clones.....Nice try, but I still know who the real one is!" *Throws a storm of shuriken at Veskar and his clones* "You're gonna have to do better than that.....What!? He's gone, but how? He was standing right still when I threw the shuriken at him....Where could he have gone?"

Veskar: "Lesson number one about about fighting illusions....Never use your sight to beat them." *appears right behind Hitomi*

Hitomi: (But how!?)

Veskar: "An illsionist always lets the person figure it out by themselves." *punches Hitomi on the back and quickly turns around and kicks her in the stomach*

Skayne: "Never knew a short guy could be this tough."

Veskar: *shouts at Skayne* "HEY! I HEARD THAT!!! I'M NOT SHORT!!! I'M JUST NOT BIG FOR MY SIZE, THAT'S ALL!!!"

Skayne: "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Hitomi: (This guy is tougher than I though, well, I have no choice but to use the secret technique in order to get through his illusions) *takes out a sword with a black blade*

Veskar: "A sword fight you want?" *takes out a sword* "Very well then!"

Sniper: "Is Veskar gonna use his hurricane slash thing?"

Karzar: "He'd better not! I told him not to use any wind element attacks."

Ted: "A sword fight, this should be interesting."

Jacob: "Yeah."

POOF!

Crazy Kev: "Wazz up!"

Jacob: "You're kinda early Kevin..."

Crazy Kev: "For once, I'm not late!.......So...Who's fighting who?"

Jacob: "Hitomi and Veskar."

Crazy Kev: "It's Hitomi's turn, huh? Well then....GO HITOMI!! YOU CAN DO IT!! BEAT HIS BUTT!! WOO HOO!!"

Hitomi: *smiles at Crazy Kev* "This is the end for you!"

Veskar: "We'll see about that." *does a bunch of hand signs* "Illusion Clone Jutsu!" *7 clones appear*

Hitomi: "Oh no you don't!" *throws a dragon fire bomb at Veskar and his clones*

BOOM

Crazy Kev: "Woah! What was that?"

Ted: "My new best friend if I ever get a hold on those! *big grin on his face*

Jacob: "Veskar should've gotten some damage from that explosion."

Crazy Kev: "I know, that explosion covered up the entire battle arena! And where ever Veskar gone to, he'd never escape the explosion."

Ted: "Exactly."

Hitomi: "There's no way he would've escaped that!"

The smoke goes away and it appears Veskar took very little damage.

Crazy Kev: "Well, at least he took some damage."

Ted: "Too little damage to be exact."

Veskar: "I gotta say, you figured out the trick did you?"

Hitomi: "Yep, since I can't use direct attacks on you, I used splash-damage attacks to damage you." (But still, he should of recieved more damage than that. What is he?"

Sniper: "Veskar used a wind shield to protect him."

Karzar: "So, he used a wind shield to protect him without anyone noticing." (Very clever that he used a wind element ability in the smoke so he wouldn't blow our cover.) "Good thing you have that Eye of the Scorpicis thing."

Sniper: "Yep, come's in handy, doesn't it.."

Hitomi: "That's it, I'm gonna finish you off completely!" *raises her sword*

Karzar: "Hey, wait a second! Isn't that the Shadow Blade Slazer told us about?"

Sniper: "I don't know. I was too busy eating waffles when Slazer was teaching us mythology that day."

Karzar: "Crap! If she uses that one technique the sword possess, Veskar will look like a torch at the end of this battle."

Hitomi: "Alright then! Time to finish the match!" *the shadow blade starts glowing in a blue aura*

Veskar: "This doesn't look good!"

Hitomi: "Shadow Blade Dragon! Emerge! *A flame in the shape of a dragon emerges from the sword* "Now, destroy my opponent!"
*the dragon heads forward to Veskar to destroy him*

Veskar: "My legs are too weak from all the teleporting I've done. I can't dodge the attack...I have no choice then..." *sticks his hands out* "BLOODY HURRICANE!!!" *a huge gale destroys the dragon and sends Hitomi flying in the air and hitting the floor*

Hitomi: *tries to get up* "Must...get...up!"

Veskar: "Oh no you don't!" *creates a wind sphere around Hitomi* "Now then! How do you like it when I increase the air pressure inside the sphere!"

Hitomi: "Can't....move...my body....to much pressure..."*starts getting back on her feet*

Veskar: "Stay down!" *puts more pressure in the sphere*

Hitomi: *falls back down because of pressure*

Veskar: "Like they say, size matters not!" *increases the pressure even more*

Hitomi: "screams because of how much pain the air pressure is giving her*

Karzar: "Veskar! That's enough!"

Veskar: "Fine." *the sphere disappears*

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright, Hitomi is unable to battle, Veskar wins this round."

Karzar: "Veskar, you idiot! You weren't supposed to use your wind technique at all."

Veskar: "I would of became a Jamicain Barbeque if I didn't used my elemental attacks!"

Karzar: "Doesn't matter, as long as no one knows that you're with the Elemental Titans."

Veskar: "I though you said it did matter."

Karzar: "Shut up Veskar."

Preliminary Examiner: "Someone get the medics, she needs medical attention."

Crazy Kev: "I'll take her to the hospital myself." *picks up Hitomi*

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright then. For the next match, will the next contestants please step up" *the tv screen says Ted and Kroshin*

Jacob: "So far, its been one victory for our team."

Ted: "Then I'll make it two victories then."

Skayne: "Remember, this kid possess the Sharingan ability, so becareful on what you do."

Kroshin: "Relax, he'll be the lunch for my creatures I plan on using."

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright. Ted, Kroshin, are you both ready?

Ted: "Yep."

Kroshin: "Oh yah! I'm ready!"

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright then, you may begin!"

Kroshin: "You're going down strait to the ground!" *does a bunch of hand signs*

Ted: "Now matter what he does, I'll copy it with my sharingan eyes!" *turns on sharingan eyes and copies his jutsu*

Kroshin: "Sharingan this!" *punches himself*

Ted: *punches himself* "Oh, god! This punch feels stronger than usual."

Kroshin: "That's because I did a Mega-Punch Jutsu..You see, I can already use your sharingan against you!.....Copying what I can do can be very dangerous, but I have to be careful on what I do though, otherwise I'll...."

Ted: "Yeah, yeah, yeah! I already know what you're gonna say next."

Kroshin: "Very well then." *thorws a kuni at Ted*

Poof! *a log appears*

Kroshin: "Replacement Jutsu, huh? Well, since you're more annoying than I thought, I'll introduce you to a couple of my friends!" *cuts his hand and puts the blood on a scroll and does a bunch of hand signs* "Summoning Jutsu!" *Two two-legged wolf-like beast with horns on their heads and shoulder and huge claws appear* "These are my geneticly engineered half wolf, half rhino beasts. And you're their lunch!" *the beasts quickly attacked Ted and clawed him in the chest*

Ted: *hand over bleeding chest* "Aaaaahh, This is getting bad!"

Kroshin: "Oh yeah! You better fear them because my armor is better than your armor!"

Crazy Kev: "Hey, that's my line!"

Jacob: "You're back already?"

Crazy Kev: "I'm just quick with things, that's all."

Jacob: "No kidding!"

Crazy Kev: "Well, from the look of things, Ted is kinda screwed right now, unless he has a trick or two up his sleeve."

Kroshin: "Alright my beasts, attack that lifeless piece of scum." *him and the beasts attack Ted*

Ted: (Gotta do this quickly) *does a bunch of hand signs* "Tri Inferno Dragon Jutsu!" *a flame in the shape of a three headed dragon appears and barbecues the beasts and Kroshin*

Kroshin: *on his knees* "Damn! He's good!"

Ted: "And now for the finishing blow!" *runs at Kroshin and uppercuts him and sends him flying*

Kroshin: "What the hell is he doing?"

Ted: *jumps in the air and kicks Kroshin in the stomach and kicks him again in the face and last, he elbow slams Kroshin to the ground*

Kroshin: *coughs blood out*

Crazy Kev: "Well....He probably won't move for a while."

Neo: "I can tell that Ted used chakra to increase the strength of his finishing blow."

Skayne: "And that means Kroshin can't move at all which means..."

Neo: "He lost the match."

Preliminary Examiner: "Kroshin is unable to Battle, Ted wins this round."

Crazy Kev: "Oh yeah Ted!....Here, have a monster energy drink to restore your energy!"

Ted: "Uh, no thanks....I don't need too much energy."

Jacob: "Great job Ted! Two victories for us then...."

Crazy Kev: "Make that three victories once it's my turn!"

Kroshin: "Damn, I lost!....Doesn't matter, the invasion will obliterate them all!"

Skayne: "Oh yeah!....At least I'm gonna win when it's my turn to kick butt!"

Karzar: "So, all we have left is Me, Sniper, Kevin, and Skayne.

Veskar: "Which means we'll find who fights who once they call out the next two people."

Karzar: "Once they call out the next two people, we'll know who fights who in the last round."

Veskar: "Exactly!"

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright, will the next contestants please step up." *the tv screen says Skayne and Sniper*

Sniper: "Yay!"

Karzar: "Just remember Sniper, no using Ice elemental attacks."

Sniper: "Relax! I have something instored that will wipe that Skayne guy out completely!"

Neo: "Remember, Sniper maybe an idiot, but be warned of his Eye of the Scorpicis."

Skayne: "I'm completely aware of that."

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright, Sniper, Skayne, are you both ready?"

Skayne: "Yeah!"

Sniper: *eating a waffle* "Yup!"

Preliminary Examiner: "Alright then, you may begin!"

for those who don't know, the story is about the Oblivion Legacy coming back to destroy both Earth and Shadow Earth. It's about a journey taking place to keep the legacy from coming back and to end the war between the Secret Alliance, RMS Republic, Dark Army, and the Legendary Destroyers.
