YES!!! Another one of my favourite books is being made into a movie!! ::quacks with joy:: Eeeee, I'm so excited!! This one is The Golden Compass, a book by Philip Pullman. There are three books in the His Dark Materials trilogy: The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass. Oh, and Nicole Kidman's playing a bad guy. Girl. Woman. Gah, whatever, she's playing Mrs. Coulter. Also, speaking of movies....
[Uhh....I think there are a few spoilers here....Minor, though. I think.]
Eragon was TERRIBLE. I mean, I tried to watch it as a movie, not a book gone movie, and when I did that, I was confused. If I watched it as a book gone movie, damn. I understand that they can't have EVERYthing in the movies from the books. You have to cut stuff out. But they cut out CHUNKS!! And what was with Arya not having pointy ears? She's an ELF! That's their TRADEMARK! That was a stupid book-movie cut, people! And Murtagh so willing to go to the Varden, PAH! It was too short, and too confusing for people who haven't read the book. They failed either way.
I'm almost done with the Crescentsun holiday card. I've got finals (two more to go!), and I need to see SundaysAtArgyle
about my drawing of Sidio, see if she likes it, or something needs changing. She's a shifty one, hard to find at that school. ::Shakes fist:: Grawrf.

Aw, man, I thought my friend Danny's girlfriend was mad at me! T_T I thought that she thought I liked him or something. Which I don't. (He's a bit too....dirty-minded for me. ><; But he's my buddy!) Turns out she's not mad at all! WHEW! ::wipes away sweat::

I LOBVE violin. And I really love Vanessa's rendition of the Devil's Trill. Makes it sound more eerie.
So, tell me. Is Christmas music supposed to make you irritated? I think not. In my last class, Enlglish, my teacher put on Christmas music. It was that old singers-who-sing-just-because-they-have-nice-voices type of music. You can tell when people actually sing because they love music. These people ::makes buzzer noise::! I had my Celtic Woman Christmas cd, which is much more enjoyable because they actually LIKE singing. But nooo, he just kept saying "It's classic!" Classic my parrot! Everyone in the class was complaining about it, and even though I offered for him to play my cd, he said "No, we'll stick with this." Just because HE likes that type of music, doesn't mean everyone HAS to listen to it!! I played my Celtic Woman cd in Religion class, and they enjoyed it. Heck, the boy's were even singing along!! PROVING Celtic Woman pwn all.
I didn't get to sing the Ave Maria today. I'll be singing it on Monday, then on Tuesday through Thursday, I'll be taking my semester finals. Spooky how the time flies, no?
Sooo, a dream I had a few nights ago. This is what I remember:
I was walking into the bathroom of the gym at my middle school. (Why do I keep coming back to that place in my dreams?? I must miss it..) I go into the first stall, and while I'm doing my "business", I'm washing my hair. Then I remember trying to wash my hair in a toilet-showerhead combo. But somehow I broke it, so while water was gushing out, I still tried to wash the soap out of my hair while making sure I don't dip my hair into the toilet part of the funky hybrid mechanism. (My hair is actually quite long by now.)
Then I remember I'm walking out of the bathroom and into a Thrift Shop. Bye-bye, gym! Now it's a store. ::shakes head:: There's still soap in my hair, and my mum comes out of nowhere, asking people where I could wash the rest of the soap out of my hair before it dries. (That's another thing; my hair dries fast.) Two cosplayers pass us by, and guess who they're cosplaying? HARRY POTTER AND HERMIONE GRANGER!! (I think the girl who was Hermione might have actually been Emma Watson. Look way too much like her not to be. But she lacked an accent. Huh.) They were very tall.....
Anyway, I asked them where they got the costumes, and the Potter cosplayer led me to a rack in the store full of HP robes. I'm looking around, and we're chatting. I think he was supposed to be about 20 or so. So tall....like, 6'7 or something..(I'm about 5'7 myself.) So, he meets this other friend of his, and they start chatting. (I think the friend was a bit tipsy on beer, yo.)
Near the exit of the store (always a sign in my dreams that they're about to end soon), I come across a boy around my age doing a puzzle. The theme of the puzzle: MAXIMUM RIDE!! It looked like a crudely drawn picture of Nudge and the Gasman. It was actually pretty cute! (When I say crudely drawn, that means it sorta looks like someone who likes to draw, but isn't very good at it. Heads are to big, eyes are too small, lack of detail, all that jazz.) And then, without finding somewhere to rinse my hair out, my dream ends.
I swear, I think it's my toothpaste. There's just something in it that induces weird dreams. Must be the artificial lemon flavouring.

BEST. DAN. INTERVIEW. EVER. He and I actually are quite similar. Same sense of humour (I think he's much funnier, but you get my drift, right?), we both seem to say stuff that only makes sense in our own heads, we both rotate our arms around 360 degrees...Did I ever tell you guys the weird things i can do with my arms? I can rotate them around, clap with one hand, and I twist my fingers over each other. ....I'd rather not do it all at once, though. Anyway, my friend knows about all this and started singing "Anything Dan can do Max and do as well, anything Max can do Dan can do too!" Quite true....He and I would get along great. But to be honest, I could NEVER have a crush on the guy. For one thing, there's the whole Inu-Yasha issue. (Yep. Haven't let that go. Spooky...) Secondly, we're just too much alike....
Man, I should start posting more again. I sure do accumulate a lot of things to type about. This is one loooooong post. Sorry about that! T_T

Yes, I'm alive. We have semester exams coming up, so I've been doing a bunch of projects (none of which are finished yet ^_^;), and tests are pouring out of my ears. Honestly, I keep seeing question marks each time I close my eyes!

Anymawho, for one project in Religion, we got to get into groups (people I like this time), and create our own sort of....mini-mass. I'm singing the Ave Maria at the end. Speaking of which...
Today we had a mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe, and a girl (whom also went to the same middle school as myself) sang the Ave Maria. (I know the one as sung by the Celtic Women.) She was REEEAALLY baaaaaaaad. She couldn't hit the high notes well, she sounded more like she was wailing, and I couldn't understand what she was "singing". I KNOW THE WORDS, AND I COULDN'T TELL WHERE SHE WAS!! I never liked her very much, but I won't say any of this to her face.
Voice: Until she says something to piss you off.
Me: ........Ye-ah, THEN it might happen...O_o;
They have got to stop having her sing that. She's only embarrasing herself. I don't mind being embarrased. I can take it well. But she cried last year when she sang Ave Maria, why make her go through that humiliation again?? Oy....
I'll come back and comment on people's posts later. The bell's gonna ring in a few minutes, and I need to work on the card I'm drawing. It's a Crescentsun Holiday card. :)

so, remember the mermaid I drew? ElvesAteMyRamen drew one as well! I tooold you guys, I was like, POSSESSED by her or something. She drew a mermaid, I drew a mermaid. I used her colouring tutorial and everything. Spooooooooo-kyyyyy......Of course, Lindsey's looks waay better than mine. ^_^; No way in the shark-ridden waters of the ocean I can catch up to that girl.

I was FINALLY able to scan the pictures I've been drawing! I was able to upload Flame, an Indian, Ed's arm, and a mermaid! WOOTAGA! But the scanner made the pictures brighter than they really are...;_; I draw lightly a lot, so it takes away some of the detail..Quaaack. ::Sad duckie:: Anymawho, here they are!

I actually had a normal dream, for once! I was singing Eternal Snow from Full Moon wo Sagashite, and Spider-Man was sitting in my neighbour's yard, listening and head banging to the song. (For me, that's normal...As I'm sure you've noticed.)

In an alternate timeline, Mary Jane and Peter Parker have a child. Her name is May, and she is Spidergirl! (This happens after Peter retires from crime-fighting.) I'm pretty sure that's the right info...^_^;
Okay, so, a movie I really lobve is called The Tenth Kingdom. (If you haven't seen it, that's cool. You can look up info on it on imdb.com .)Anyway, the main character, Virginia, was there. She was a princess! Aww! The Queen was the Queen in the book/movie, and was also her real mother. The Queen told Virginia to go out and get berries from the forest. (I think the Queen was sending her away so she can talk privately with her court and whatnot.) Virginia was afraid of the berries, though. Ever time she ate one, (which wasn't often because of what happened), she was transported to another world, ours. She was scared by all the big buildings, the cars, all that jazz. She reluctantly went, eventually. Now, when she leaves the castle courtyard, she ends up in a spot looking veery much like the front of my house! She almost goes to the left, but that was where the village was. (To the left of my house is more houses.) She turns around and heads in the other direction, toward the forest.
Now, let me pause for a moment and explain some things abour the areas near my house. Like I said, to the left, you cross a street and there are more streets of houses. To the RIGHT, when you reach the end of the street, there's a HUGE open space. It's the playground to the middle school. It's like a misshapen circle, the way it's shaped. Or...kinda like mixed with a square AND a circle. Anyways. at the end of the "squircle", there's a clump of trees and houses. (There's a park a little ways beyond this clearing, and that has a LOOOT of trees.) Keep all this in mind.
In the dream, all this is altered slightly. There's a forest beyond the clearing, and there's one house with small children. When the two kids, a boy and a girl, saw Virginia, they ran and hid. The Queen is very cruel, and they know of her reputation. But Virginia convinced the children that she was nice. (She=Virginia) THEN! There was this little fenced-in spot connected to the children's house. Virginia, forgetting she needed to get some more berries(somehow there were a few in the basket..), started playing with the children. Virginia knew she couldn't stay long, for if the Queen found out, the family would be in danger. The mother invited Virginia to stay for dinner, and the father came out, and it kinda looked liek he was making a pizza crust...Heh, in my dreams, it wouldn't surprise me if they WERE making pizza. -_-+ Well, the Queen found out....
A bunch of knights on horses were closing in fast on the family. Virginia told them to run. The parents didn't move, and were slaughtered immediately. The children were trying to make it over the fence, ut the knight's spears caught the children. (I didn't actually see it..Thank God.) Then a scene change:
Hagrid (Harry Potter) and some other guy were waiting for a centaur. The centaur came up, and they both got on him. Now, the centaur could only walk in the snow, or else he'd be killed by someone powerful. (I think the White Witch from Narnia.) Eventually, the other guy got off the centaur, and the centaur could run better. Hagrid's sitting on him, and with the other, much smaller guy off, he could move better. O_o; Next scene change! This one's HILARIOUS.
So, it's the set of the Maximum Ride movie, and guess who's playing Max? Me!
Voice: I say again, you wish.
Me: I dunno, I think I'd be good for the part. You know, with the whole annoying Voice in my head deal.
So, you know how they have those Behind The Scenes extras on the dvds? Well, here's one of me and the guy who's playing Fang..(We're goofing around.) This is our scenario of what would happen if Fang actually told Max he liked her.
Fang: ::grabs me around the waist and does a dramatic dip:: ::speaking in a dramatic Soap Oprah voice:: There's something I must tell you..
Me: ::using the same type of voice:: Yes, Fang?
Fang: Something..I should have said a long time ago...::dramatic stare:: I love you, Maximum Ride.
Me: ::dramatically puts hand to my forhead:: Oh, Fang! I've known for a long time. But...
Fang: There's another, isn't there?
Me: How did you know?
Fang: I should've known. It's Total, isnt it?
Me: ::looks away dramatically:: Yes, Fang. Total is my one true love.
Fang: If only I told you sooner how I felt...
Me: ::looks back at him:: Maybe.....
[Both crack up!]
::Shakes head:: Yeaah, that's how it was. I don't like Fang in a crushing-on-him sense, though. That was more like and over-dramatic scenario created by two wackos. ^_^; (Three years of crushing on Inu-Yasha, and I'm not stopping now! I'm not forcing it or anything, just can't be helped.)
Soooo......yeah. Note to self: Don't plan on watching Tenth Kingdom before you go to bed. Don't read the fifth Harry Potter book before you go to bed. As for the Fang and me thing....Only God knows what caused that...
I also got into a row with one of the Risembool Rangers. She doesn't like Inu-Yasha, and was basically insulting the show. I don't mind her voicing her opinion, I just have a problem with the way she did it. RAWR! More on this later.

Sorry if I confused you guys with my random CoV spouting. I tend to do that...><; I have a bad habit of saying something, and people seem to think I meant something else. Another reason why I feel like most of the time, I should just shut my damn mouth..People piss me off when they start biting my head off for something I didn't even say! Rawr.(also why I hate working in groups.)
OH! SPEAKING of working in groups, in Biology class, our teacher is making us do a stupid group project. SHE'S making me work with a bunch of girly-girls! They were trying to convince me to wear make-up, get a "perm", and wear cute clothes and shoes. Uhh, no. I told them "As long as my hair's clean, my face is washed, my clothes are cleam and comfortable, I'm happy. I buy my clothes from the Boy's department at Target, my shoes are still intact and fit, so what else do I need?" They were all "Oooh, baby girl, I can't do that." Well, if you ever suddenly get poor, you're in deep horse crap, sugah! AND one of them is a ditz.
While we're on the subject of Biology, my teacher STINKS. I mean, she's funny and all, but she just sits there fiddling with her laptop, trying to get it to work, bashes up ice so she can eat the ice, she tells us all about the gruesome details of her surgery, I mean, C'MON!! I suck at Science enough already without you not teaching us ANYTHING! "Read chapter six." Okay, but you never give us ANY time to ask you questions on stuff we don't understand. RAWR! AND! She called my best friend a "window licker", whatever the hell that is. Juust because she asked you a slightly stupid question. OY! She's lucky I didn't start yelling at her for insulting my friends! I swear, I'm liking her less and less.

I had trouble getting my glove off. ^_^; My friend, in the pic wasn't actually a Pirate Jean, she was just a regular pirate. Anyway, this picture was taken in the process of me trying to take my glove off to I could "absorb" Fiefie. I'm trying to make a Rogue vid with me as Rogue, so mucho piccies were taken.

Anyways, I'm almost done with the picture of Angel from the Maximum Ride books. I need to baby-fy her face a bit more...She looks a tad bit too old for a six year old. T_T Now, I'm working on Iggy. I tried to draw him on Friday, but I screwed up a lot, so I'm gonna try again. After him will be Fang!
Oh! Speaking of Fang, I met a guy on City of Villains when I was randomly invited to a team. The team fell apart, but we stayed together, and he reminded me SOO much of Fang, it's not even funny. He also tried to take me to a tailor to fix my toon's hair colour (I made Flame, my original X-Men character, but I screwed up her hair. T_T) The tailor was in a part of the game for higher lvls, like around the level of..13 or so, and I was a fracking 6! >:( He tried to keep me out of harm's way, but he ha da jump pack. I didn't. BAM! Mesa dieded. THEN he had to leave!! So, I had to ask for a higher level villain for help to lead me back to Mercy Island. Fang and I met up later, and we went tinto a mission where we had to kill a nest of snakes. Im the MIDDLE of the MISSION, he had to leave again! Now, when you team up with someone, the mission you are doing gets harder. If someone has to leave, the difficulty won't go down. NYARGH! ANGRY!! I mean, he was nice about the leaving. He's a lot like Fang. But HOLY CRAP, he's lucky I made it out of that mission alive! ::growls::
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Sidio just Revolutionary Girl Utena-d Vash the Stampede from Trigun. Pink hair and everything! Aaahhh, that's so funny...

Anyway, on deviant, I had googled drawings for Maximum Ride, one of my favourite books? ( I should say two, actually...) But I didn't really find too many I liked. Most of them were drawn anime-style. I was hoping to see more realistic drawings....SO! Yesterday in Study Hall, I drew Angel, the youngest child in the flock. Drawing a six year old with curly hair and a stuffed bear is HARD, people! @_@; Today, I'm going to draw Iggy, the blind one. Hey, Elvsie, do you think I should put a bomb in his hand, or Gazzy's?

Heh, we got out of school at noon today, and you know what I did right when I got home? Climbed into bed (literally) and went to sleep until about three. (I literally crawl into bed because my sis and I shared a room once, and we had bunk beds, and now that she's gone, I sleep on the top one, and the bottom's a shelf for my stuffed animals. ^_^) Man, I didn't realise how tired I was..I didn't stay up too late. Uhh...Did I? Lindsey, what time did I sign off?? <~I have such a bad memory, it's not funny.
Oh, speaking of the magnificent Elvsie, we were talking over Yahoo Instant Messenger, and somehow got onto the subject of us lefties in the minority. I told her about this one kid a few years ago who said to me, "You can't draw, because you're a leftie!" When I showed her the picture I was drawing, that shut her up. >:) I swear, juust because you're left handed, doesn't mean you can't draw. Lindsey's left handed. I'm left handed. The manga-ka of Fruits Basket is left handed. I can't remember the names, but Lindsey told me of two very famous artists who are left handed!
Voice: If they're so famous, how come you don't remember their names?
Me: -_-+ I TOLD you, I have a bad memory. And I keep thinking of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I'm pretty sure it was one of their names, I just don't remember which ones...
Voice: Honestly, Max, you're as bad as Dory in Finding Nemo.
Me: HEY! I'm not THAT bad yet. Close, but not yet.

Getting off that subject, I drew two pictures recently, both involving fire in them, and I FREAKIN' MADE THE FIRE GLOW!!! How wicked is that?? Using a mechanical pencil, nonetheless! I finished the second noe last night, and I gave them to my dad to scan to me. If he remembers and sends them, I'll put them on deviantart, and show you guys! ^_^ I need some suggestions for a backround for the second one...(I'm burning Moses' staff....O_O; Actually, it looks more like Rafiki's, so if I look at it that way, I won't be smited by lighting...)
Also, Yuki FINALLY found the comics we've been drawing! -_-; From now on, I'm just going to give them to my dad to scan when we're done...We only have two on the internet, but about five completed. Also, since her computer is lacking memory, the scanning is taking too long, so I'll just see how reliable Beppo is. (Beppo is my dad's nickname. Not sure where, when or why he got Beppo, but whatever...)

This is another game I lobve to play. Remember for Halloween, I was going to go as a villain called Spider Max? I made her up in this game. Actually, the creature that's the backround of my Intro thing with all the links and the Yuki Fan Club pictures is from this game. There's also City of Heroes, but what fun is that? Saving people, pshhh!
