Welcome to my site archives. 10 posts are listed per page.
Well, I tried out for my school play and I made it in! It's Tune In To Murder, and I'm playing Dr. Bledsoe, I belive. (Anyone know anything about this person?) I'm happy I made it, but I'm even happier that one of my best friends made it, too! (She's my Tohru. If you hear me say the name Tohru and I'm not tlking Furuba, I mean my friend. Same goes for Hanajima. I'm Uotani('cuz I'm the tomboy)).
Anymawho, my Biology teacher almost KILLED me today! On our laptops for some of our classes we're supposed to install CD-ROM books onto the bloody pieces of junk. She used my laptop for showing us HOW to install them. (Well, it left me free to help the girl next to me...She was having issues.) But for some inexplicable reason, it didn't install properly. So, she's trying to figure out what happened AND THEN! The bell rang. *DUN DUN DUUUUNNN!!!!!*
I'm flipping out because my next class, Algebra, is ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE SCHOOL AND UPSTAIRS. She's still dawdling with giving me back my laptop, and I'm flipping out. FINALLY she gives it back to me, and it takes me a bit to fit it back into the case I carry it in, which is also crap, gather all my books, and I FLEW out of there.
Remember kidlets, my throat is still infected, and it was a little worse today. I made it into my class about 15 seconds before the bell rang. I'm standing in front of my desk coughing like CRAZY, and it was hard to breathe, and people were shooting me dirty looks because I distracted them from looking up erotic pictures of airhead models. Excuse me for NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATHE!!!! Yeesh...><+ Annoying....
Also, my English teacher STILL hasn't given me back my Hemingway homework piece. I'm sarting to think it was a dream...
Did I tell you that one of my favourite books, Maximum Ride is being made into a movie? Lindsey and I were really excited. I think this girl PERFECT for Angel...:http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0383060/Ss/0383060/iid_1072118.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Newman,%20Ryan%20(III)
Also, speaking of Lindsey, I'm going to take a leaf out of her book and give you guys a Max Ride Quote.
Quote of the Day:
"I feel like, like pudding... Pudding, with nerve endings. Pudding in great pain." - Iggy
Well, I'm in a bit of a sour mood today. I'm not very people person-ey right now. (Then again, I'm usually not....O_O;;) Most people would think I am...I'm friendly, but not a people person. Is that twisted or what?
Lindsey (ElvesAteMyRamen, if by some odd twist of fate you don't know who I'm tlking about) has gotten me into saying the word "narly". We were tlking over aim, and when we discovered we both loved Maximum Ride (book), she said "Fang is so narly in those books." I've been using it ever since. "How are you?" "Narly." MAN, THAT IS SUCH AN AWESOME WORD!! It's like spectacular, it needs to be used more often....Thanks Linds!
Also, in other news, I have just recently joined the Risembool Rangers. For those of you who are oblivious, the Rangers are a group of fans of the wonderful Vic Mignogna. I decided to join not because I'm such a die-hard fan of his work, but because he is such a cool guy! (As Dan Radcliffe puts it, "Yeah, he's such a dude!") I was watching these recordings of his birthday someone put up on youtube (yes, it was the person who recorded it who put it up). The Rangers had, as a surprise, sent him a TONNE of birthday presents. I decided then to be a Ranger, because they seem like a great group of people, they really respect Vic and his beliefs (when in chatroom or forum, you cannot curse or talk about yaoi, yuri, hentei, etc...). Vic himself, of what I've seen and gathered, is a wonderful person. Yes, he has his faults, but don't we all? So, I am now a Risembool Ranger.
(For those of you who are wondering, no I do not have a crush on him. I'm still all Inu-Yasha. I've remained faithful to him for three years, people!)
What else....OH! We got our laptops in school today. I didn't tell you about that, did I? Well, the school decided to....well, get laptops. Something about a program and us being the first to have it....whatever. Anymawho, don't expect the heavenly choir to sing because they aren't that great. I won't go into detail because I'm lazy, so just trust me, ne? :-P
Also, for our homework in English class, we had to write an ending to the ACCURSED book of A Farewell To Arms by Hemingway. You all remember how much I hate that book, I hope. Well, the ending of the book is pretty wide open. They guys' lover dies, the kid dies, and it ends with him leaving the hospital, walking away through the rain. Our job was to write at least half of a page and write what we thought would happen. Mine was a whole page. When I get it back, I'll post it up here for you to read. I'm actually kinda proud of it. I did it during a slightly shortened Study Hall and I didn't even think about how I was going to write it, it just sort of....came out. Well, you'll see soon, I hope.
In any case, I guess I'm glad to be back in school. It gives me something to write about. OH! Like my friends Martell and Erica! OMG, They are the most HILARIOUS couple! LMAO!! They have these cute little arguements, they sort of flirt-fight, THEY ARE JUST SOOO FUN TO WATCH!! I swear, if nothing else I'd come back to school JUST to watch those two. They're so great, hahaha...
Okay, I'm done...><;;
AMV of the Day: Leonardo (TMNT) and Ed Are Lost At A Bus Station...
AS YOU SHOULD KNOW, I am a HUUUUGE Les Mis fan. It's my favourite musical OF ALL TIME!!!!! My dream if to play Eponine in that play at least once. "I dreamed a dream..."(<~one of the songs) MY high school won't be able to do it though because
a.) Not enough boys (it was an all girls' school first.)
b.) Not enough people in general (the cast is HU-U-UGE!)
c.) Even if we had enough boys and people, out stage is too small.
d.) the lady who chooses the cast doesn't like me.
Now, let's say I go to a college and major in Theatre. What would be the odds of them picking Les Mis? ::Sigh:: It's a cruel hand fate dealt me...I want to play Eponine so badly.....;_; T_T :'(
Anyways, my friend, the creator of our
CrescentsunVagabonds site, got me sucked into TerraWorld. The graphics are TERRIBLE, but I like it. It's not crowded. I still like Lineage 2 better, though.
Oh, I changed my avatar to two characters from Crescentsun (Dionis and Osalo, the twins), but it hasn't shown up. Anyone know why...?

I was the youngest of three daughters. Our late mother had named us Sango, Kirara, and Kagome. I’m also called Beauty, of all things.
My father still likes to tell the tale of how I received such an odd nickname. I had asked him what our names meant when I learned there was meaning to them beyond you-come-here. He told me the symbolization of my elder sisters, but it turned out my own name held no meaning. I responded, very haughtily, "Humph! I'd prefer that she named me Beauty instead!"
Father found this so humourous that he persisted in telling everyone in town the story of the youngest child's wish for a name with purpose. Since then, I was called Beauty out of habit, but not always. Thankfully, my true name stays with me.
We were all very lovely children; dark, soft curly hair and innocent blue eyes, and for the first few years, not many could tell the difference.
Sango, the eldest and older than myself by five years, grew into a divine and refined young girl. Her long hair was a dark brown that held a beautiful shine, and never seemed to have a single tangle within the lovely tresses. Her eyes were a warm chestnut brown and long lashed.
Kirara, who's older than me by two years, found her hair to be lightened to an enchanting light blonde which fell in soft waves over her shoulders and down her back, and her big eyes turned to a light shade of gray.
Sango was an inch or two taller, and her skin was soft and rosy where Kirara's was a paler colour, though her cheeks seemed to be always slightly flushed. My sisters looked very much alike. They were tall, slender, with dimples when they flashed their radiant smiles, and perfectly straight noses, neither to large nor too little, and they had perfectly proportioned hands and feet.
I did not turn out as my sisters did. My black hair lost the gentle baby curl, and became dull and hung in ungraceful clumps; my eyes became a strange muddy green colour. I did not even grow taller; I was thin, gawky, with large hands and huge feet. I also broke out in spots when I reached 11.
Of course, Sango and Kirara stayed forever divine and lovely, with every eligible man madly in love with them. Really, such loveliness should be against the law.
I have to admit, I was a little spoiled since I was the baby. I would have had a younger sister, Kanna*, but she had died several weeks after our mother. She left us two years after I was born.
Even though we had a long series of governesses, my sisters say they felt they had raised me. Six years after the "Beauty" incident, it was clear that I could not live up to my nickname; I remained plain, but I was too proud to give up the name. Being called Beauty made me upset sometimes, but no one ever commented on my awkwardness, and continued to call me by the nickname. Since my true name held no direct meaning, it was as if that was the only thing you could say about me; my existence had no meaning.
Even my sisters called me by the name sometimes, being as sincerely kind as they were beautiful, for never pointing out the inappropriateness. Thank kami for that.
Either Totousai took no notice of the obvious difference between his first two daughters and the last, or he did not wish to rub salt into the wound. He smiled and commented on how we were growing into three lovely, unique looking individuals. I silently thanked him for his blindness. I could be at ease when talking to him, for I knew he did not feel ashamed of the failure of his third daughter. Whoever said, "Third time's the charm", obviously never met me.
My only comfort was being the clever one out of the three. The governesses Totousai hired always called me the clever one. Hey, it was my only excuse; I was going to use it.
I preferred books over the company of others any day. That was how I lived my life; reading books, being clever, and avoiding people and mirrors.

Well, there it is. ::sighs::.....
AMV of the Day:Colm Wilkinson's Bring Him Home
Did I show you guys this yet? I dun think I did...
WELL! I finally wrote the first chapter to the story and put it on animespiral, but, whaddya know? The site went down again! ><;; I had a few other stories on there, they had better not've been deleted....Well, I didn't like the first chapter anyways, it was too close to the book. (I wanted it close, but not THAT much!!)So, I guess this gives me time to tinker with it...SORRY!! ;_;
On a weirder note, I had such a bizarre dream..two, actually. I mean, they usually ARE, as you guys know, they make flying pigs look normal, but these two caught my attention.
So, in the first one, it was a strange mix of X2, Xenon, a dog game that my little cousing has, (dun ask, PLEASE) Pizza Hut pizza, and I met Ed Elric the 2nd there, too. For some reason, we were talking about Princess Tutu....Ed 2, have you ever even seen Princess Tutu?? O_O;; And Sister Princess popped up in there somewhere, too....
Now the second one! Do you guys remember me telling you about those His Dark Materials books? Probably not. Well, I'll only tell you what needs to be known. In the book, people have creatures called daemons. They're sort of like a person's soul outside their bodies in an animal form. ::shrug:: The main character, Lyra (and I was apparantly Lyra) has a daemon as well, called Pantalaimon, Pan for short. At the end of the whole series, they are able to do what most people in that world can't, and that is being seperate from each other. No matter what the distance. (Everyone else can't be apart from their daemons unless they like a lot of PAIN.)
SO! In this story, I'm at my old grammar school, right? I'm with my friends, and one keeps talking about tea...No clue why...I'll have to ask her if she's developed an obsession with tea later. So, I go outside, it's late, it's dark, I'm walking to the car with Pan, when on of my friends says "Hurry and move, you're blocking the way!" (Not meanly, but that's basically it.) So that keeps happening.
TIME CHANGE! We're still in the same spot, then a little Full Moon Special thing happens, and there's a wolf. I start growling and howling at it, saying in it's language to unlock the door to the school, please. So, the wolf goes, and Pan asks, "How'd you do that?" "If there's menaing and honesty in it, you can come to an understanding!" So, Pan's like, "Cool!" and tries himself, but ends up insulting the wolf, and the wolfie tries to eat him. "FLY AWAY PAN!" I yell. He flies away, the wolf can't catch him. I'm freaking out because the wolf is sitting there, looking at me bored, and he says "If he can't speak the language, he could've just said so. I freak out again, becaus it's dark and I can't find him.
Suddenly I grow wings, and I start flyihgn around, looking for him, calling out his name, and My Heart Will Go On starts playing. I also keep doing barrelroles, getting nicely dizzy. That seems to be a constant theme in my dreams lately...(It was much weirder than it sounds, trust me.)
There was also one dream I had of Inu-Yasha discovering swimming pools. He wanted to try it, so Souta goes to help him find some swimming trunks or something. But I think Inu-Yasha died...which would probably explain why I woke up crying...
AMV of the Day: Inu-Yasha's Job At Burger King
The word pickles sounds a little odd after this...
Well, my best friend Sora was the only one who helped me with my questions!! >:(
Results:
1. Called Beauty only sometimes, not throughout the whole story.
2. Sango and Kirara.
3. Shippou as Kirara's "man".
4. Totousai as the father. (that'll be interesting...)
6. Hanyou
For number five, we came up with a few choices; Ah Un, Momo (Totosai's cow), or Entei. Make your choice on that, squiggeh!!! (At least help me out on that one!!!)
(Thanks to Magnus Lensherr, for giving me that site! I LOVE YOU!!!!! ::BIIIG HUG!!!!::
Okay, for some bizarre reason, the colour
change buttons aren't working, so I had to put down random stuff. (I have no idea what colour this'll turn out to be...)Hope it's not one I don't like. Anyways, until it decides to not be a ding-head, this is gonna have to do for now. ;_;
You likey the new backround? If you look carefully, you can see cat eyes in the trees. Nifty, no?
Anyways, not much has happened. I'm halfway through with Hemingway, I'm trying to finish it by Wednesday so I can get to work on the Beauty fanfic. While I'm on that subject, I have some things to run by you guys...
1. In the story, Beauty's real name is Honour. When she was little, she asked her father what her name meant, and when he tried to explain, she said "Huh! I'd rather be called Beauty." thus the name. She's rarely ever called Honour. I'm trying to decide whether I should have Kagome be called Beauty throughout the whole thing too, or to have her be called Kagome and only called Beauty every so often. (I'm leaning more towards the latter.)
2. Beauty has two older sisters, Grace and Hope. (I'm almost certain Hope's the middle child..) Sango is obviously going to play one of them, and I'm trying to decide who should be the other one. (I'm not going to use a villain, like Kagura, or Kikyou, because I just can't think good of her.) I'm thinking about using Kirara as a human...What do you think? Or should I use another character? I also debated Koharu, but she wasn't there for very long, and I didn't like her much.
3. Grace, being the oldest and I think who I'm going to replace as Sango,gets engaged, but her fiancee is lost at sea. (He was working for their father, who is a highly successful merchant.) So, if I DO use Sango for Grace's part, her fiancee will be, of course, Miroku. Hope also becomes engaged, and married, and if I do use Kirara, who would her fiancee be?
4. Who should play their father? (I may have to use Myouga-jiji, but I really don't want to...)
5. Beauty owns a horse named Greatheart, which also, in my opinion, plays an important role in the story. Who should her horse be? (I read in one version of a Beauty and the Beast Inu fic that Kirara was the horse, and Naraku's (playing Gaston) was Kanna, lol. )
6. Should Inu-Yasha play the Beast in his hanyou form or his youkai form?
This is all opinionated. I'm almost positive of who I want to use for most of the parts, but I still want to know what you guys think. Your opinions mean a lot to me. Oh, and also, there is no Gaston figure in this version. If there were, Kouga'd get the part. Well, I may add him in, but I'm not a Kouga fan. Kikyou may or may not show her emo face in the story, I may add parts, for I will also omit things, change them around, the necessary changes. ::Hugs everyone:: If you have any other ideas, especially if you've read this version, feel free to share!(It's by Robin McKinley.) PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT ABOUT YOUR OPINION! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS LIKE, ESPECIALLY YOU, ELVSIE!!!! THIS IS YOUR DEDICATION FIC! (Sry, I capitalized to get your guys' attention, lol)
"First, what this book is not--it is not a slam, bam action book or gigantic doorstopper epic.
What it is--a wonderful romantic retelling of the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. A widower has three daughters, Grace, Hope, and Honour. As a young child, Honour decides that her name is boring and states she would rather be Beauty, and the nickname stuck with her. Kindly Grace and Hope grow up into great beauties, but Beauty grows into a gawky ugly duckling, little concerned with her looks, but proud of her intelligence and way with horses. They all live happily in the city until disastor strikes and they lose almost all their possessions. They move to the country next to a mysterious old forest and as years pass become used to hard work and the peasant life. Beauty thrives, but still suffers from low self esteem. Then their father goes back to the city to check on one of his lost ships and when he returns, brings her a beautiful rose. You know the story--he met the Beast who demanded one of his daughters in exchange for the father's life, because he dare to pluck the rose.
Beauty volunteers to got to the Beast, taking only her warhorse turned plowhorse, Great Heart. She meets the Beast and encounters all the mysteries of his strange castle and invisible servants, some fearful and some wondrous. A sweet and charming romance ensues as the Beast asks her every night for her hand in marriage.
The author really makes the character of Beauty come to life--her wry, self-deprecating humor, her love of nature and books, her wonder, and sometimes fear of, the magic surrounding her, the gentle changing and unfolding of her feelings about the Beast. And the Beast is just as wonderful, you can feel his sad yearning for love, his hard-earned wisdom, his patience with Beauty and her fears, his strength and temper and sorrow. There is wit and humor, sadness and joy."
-Quoted from Amazon.com.
(Obviously, with Inu-Yasha playing the Beast, I have to change that role around considerably, lol. He's not going to ask her every night to marry him, he's much too shy about that.)
Have you noticed my "subtle" hints for you to go and READ THIS FANTASTIC BOOK?! Lol If you like reading, you'l love this, if you like the story, you'l love this, if you don't like either, don't worry about it, no one's pushing you. ^_^ I'm sorry this is all I've been talking about in this post, but I truly love this book. It's my favourite!! I've never had a favourite book before. Also, it's my favourite Disney movie.
I found a new anime called Karin. It's about a girl who, though she comes from a family of vampires, gives blood instead of drinks it. Her body produces too much blood and it comes out of her in the form of a nosebleed. "It's embarrassing!" :P It's really cute, can be kinda creepy, and the opening theme song is so cool! ...The rest of the op I can do without, lol. Anju, Karin's little sister, is a lot like Kanna except with more colour. And a vampire. Can't forget that.
Oh, I have to read A Farewell To Arms by Hemingway for school. Oh. My. God. It's TERRIBLE. The sentences start here
and end here.
It's completely ridiculous. The dialouge is unrealistic, too. If you haven't read any of his books, and you don't need to, heed my warning: SAVE YOURSELVES!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. usually I can finish a book pretty quickly, but it took me days to reach part two of the book. A couple weeks, I think, actually...I mean, c'mon, I'm a better writer than that, and I suck.
Oh, speaking of which, Elvsie, remember that story I was gonna write for you? I've decided what it should be. There's this book I like called Beauty which is a rewrite of Beauty and the Beast, and I'm gonna wrtie a fanfic based off of it. (I've seen a couple fics using Beauty and the BEast, but not the rewrite, nya-nya-nya! :P) So, when I finish Hemingway, I'll ask mum to check out the book from the library again. She won't do that until I finish Hemingway, I'm sure, and it's been a while since I've read Beauty. When I read the first chapter of it and take down some notes and whatnot, I'll write it out and put it up, 'kay? (See, I didn't forget about you! ::huggles!::)
Oh, real quick, anyone notice that Kouga isn't in any of the Inu-Yasha movies? SHAZAM!(<~doesn't like Kouga.) Nya-nee, Skirt-Boy doesn' get a part, hahaha! Okay I'm done.
I'm gonna go watch Karin now. Tata!!! ^-^
AMV of the Day: Inu-Yasha Eve (My latest!)
Minstrels of Mayhem song. Oh, before I forget, can anyone tell me how to embed a picture onto my posts?? ;_;
Hmm...WELL! I went to the Renassaince Fair!!!!!! WOOTANAGA!!! Man, it was awesome! Oh, and the coolest part: I didn't get sunburned! I didn't even get a tan!! YAYA! But yeah, it was a lot of fun! I finally bought my own copies of The Minstrels of Mayhem cds, (only two) I got to see the dungeons (they added stuff...It's amazing the things they thought of for torture...), and I got my first hand kiss...that was odd...anyways...
.....my birthday.....is tomorrow....I'm getting so old...;_;
Okay, so I was talking to my friend Sora-chan, and she decided to tell me of this conversation she had with her boyfriend. (Aw, man, she's so gonna kill me when she finds out I'm posting this, LOL) So, her boyfriend is asking her all these questions in a row, and she's answering yes each time. then this happened:
BF: Are you a pervert?
Sora: Yes.
[chirp chirp.]
BF: You are?
Sora: NO! NO I DIDN'T MEAN IT!!
I was ROLLING I was laughing so hard!! It's easy to confuse her or distract her (she's smart, yet kinda slow. BUT I LOVE HER!!) And so because of this, we've decided to write a story in a n alternate universe, where people have really silly names, just so I can use that. It'll be a story of a romantic love and--oh, who am I kidding....
Ellie (Elisabeth): All guys have dirty minds.
Is (Ysabel*): Even your boyfriend?
Ellie: He hasn't done anything lately.
Is: Lately? ::smirks::
Ellie: No, no, I didn't mean to say that!
Is: HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
That was a real conversation between the two of us, too. Oh, Ysabel I believe is the Spanish spelling of Isabelle. Anyway, wer'e playing two sisters, and our names are Elisabeth and Ysabel Ishtar, her boyfriend's name is Olin Uzzo Saptajit, and our friend's are Felicy Uzaski, Traymar Lewchar, Leo Zathrule, Perra Eckzee, Trinity Turner and the enemy's name is Kiki Hoenhaven.
Some names here I got from people i've met on Lineage 2. Others are from.....well..Uzaskiderperraeckzee was a last name my friend's made up when they created the Ultimate Doll of Universal Appeal (I was SO confused that night...) and we just took bits of that out. Hoenhaven is what Sora-chan made up...::shrug:: If you're confused, that's okay. It's supposed to be nonsensical.
Also, the reason why Sora and I have more normal names is because we decided that since the names are so topsy-turvy, having norml names would be weird in this AU story of ours.
the story may be called Six-Inch Thunder. this comes from a time when her brother's fish died, and they found it inside a toy car of this a few weeks after it died, and she said "That thing should've been six inches under!" (Six feet under? Get it?) I just misheard her...
I'll stop confusing you now.
AMV of the Day: Seasons of Love from Rent
