Okay so...
...I went to Ihop for breakfast this morning.
We got in sat down.
Then, there's this man, sprinting around the corner, going out the door, holding a BABY.
People were chasing after him and right after him a lady was yelling "STOP HIM PLEASE! HE'S GOT MY BABY!"
Then some guys attacked/tackled him and rescued the baby.
Then I heard some not so nice words, and he ran away.
It scared the crap out of me and made me realize how vulnerable I am.

Fanfic.
“Hey Miu, your shift is over. Go home alright?” Ryou said, putting a clean plate into the cabinet. “Oh, I was just finishing washing the tables.” I said walking past Ryou. “See you tomorrow,” I said pushing the door open and walking out. Ryou’s face softened, as he whispered, “Hopefully.”

I sauntered out of Café Mew Mew and collapsed on the soft grass. I gazed up at the stars as the gentle winds caressed her cheeks and made the grass sway. I yawned and rolled over on my side. “Phwee?!?” I shouted startled. There, sitting next to me was Takumi. I sat upright. “So, is this what you normally do at nine in the evening?” He said smiling at her. “N-no. I’m usually home. I just had a late shift at the café,” I replied defensively. He stared at me with his amber eyes. I felt like I would melt if he didn’t turn his gaze quickly, but he did. I sighed under her breath. My beet red face was luckily hidden because of the darkness of the night. I looked at him and he returned his amber eyes to me. He moved closer to me. I gulped. Soon he was sitting right next to me. He then returned his gaze back to the stars. “You know, I never really took the time to look at the stars,” Takumi said. “They’re beautiful aren’t they?” I asked enthusiastically. He looked back at me and said, “But you’re much more beautiful than they are.” I turned my head in shock, and he pulled my face in and kissed me.

I pushed him away quickly. He looked at me, then down. “Oh, I’m sorry. I get it. You probably like some other guy right?” he said sorrowfully, getting up. “See you Miu-Chan.” I felt guilty and without thinking I stood up and ran towards him, grabbing him around the neck from behind. “No, it’s not that. You just startled me, that’s all. I do like you, I really do,” I said resting my face against his back. He took my hands off his neck, and turned around. “Let’s try this again then,” He whispered. He gently pulled my face towards his, and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck. The kiss was pretty long I guess, maybe a minute or so. We pulled apart and stared for a while. He then kissed me on the cheek again and whispered in my ear, “Farwell Miu-Chan.” He smiled and walked away. I stood, watching him go smiling. My first kiss was with my crush! I thought.

I skipped home, still smiling and blushing. I sang to my self until I got home, then I raced through the house really quietly, and went upstairs to my room. I sat at my desk and turned on my computer. Instant Messenger popped up and I signed on. As soon as I signed on, I got an IM from Cherry-Chan:

Cherry: Hey! What’s up?
Miu: I just got my first kiss!
Cherry: No way! From who?
Miu: Takumi!!!!
Cherry: Oh my gosh! Really? Haven’t you been crushing on him?
Miu: Yeah!!! *squeals*
Cherry: Hooray! I’m so happy for you! Aoi-Sama has been visiting me a lot lately. Especially at the café. He’s so cute when he tries to hide his ears! ^///^
Miu: XD I hope that Takumi will ask me to be his girlfriend! That would be so cool!!!
Cherry: I hope that too! :3
Miu: Well, I have to go. See you tomorrow at school!
Cherry: See ya!

Then, I got another message:

Takumi: Well, hello.

My heart skipped a beat.

Miu: Hi! :]
Takumi: Shouldn’t you be getting to bed? It’s ten. We do have school tomorrow.
Miu: Yes! I was actually just about to go.
Takumi: Good night then. Sweet dreams.
Miu: Good night!

I signed off and pushed myself away from the computer. My heart was pounding so fast, and my face flushed a deep crimson. Oh my gosh! Takumi sounded concerned about me! I thought. Wanting to be well rested for him, I raced through my math homework and went to bed.
