Ayaya was only... 14!?
Aya Matsuura, originally turned down for Morning Musume, and now a VERY popular Japanese idol singer, was only 14 when she released her first single!? Jeez, then I wonder how old Ootsuka Ai is!?
But jeez... 14! She's only one year older than me now! XD (She was born in June 1986, I was born in February 1988) I always thought she was older, like mid-20s... Comments (0) |

Manga Wishlist Time!
It's the holiday season; and even though I'm not asking or expecting anyone to buy me any of this stuff, I just felt like putting up some manga I'm after. Seriously, don't go buying me manga if you know me, I'll get it myself. XD This is just for the hell of it.:
One Piece Vol. 2 - I've got Vol. 1, and it ends just as Nami is introduced, and asks to join forces with Luffy. Leads right into the Buggy arc.
Death Note Vol. 1 - I read the preview in Shonen Jump a few months back, and it was incredible. Pawing through the GN at Barnes and Noble, I could tell I needed to buy this.
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Vol. 1(?) - Do I even need to say why?
Bleach Vol. 7 - I'm getting 4-6 for Christmas - but even Vol. 10 is only up to Ichigo's fight with Ikkaku! LONG way to go, Viz!
Evangelion Vol. 4 - Eva was my first manga, and I only have 1-3 in the original format Viz used - huge, $13 volumes, much taller than... well, every other manga is these days.
Naruto Vol. 4 - Same case as Bleach.
Dragonball Z Vol. 10+ - I really need to get this whole series on the shelf. :P
Rurouni Kenshin Vol. 1 - Why not?
Shaman King Vol. 1 - I really want to get into this manga. It looks interesting.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Millenium World Vol. 1 - Not the same as Duelist – it seems to be set in ancient Egypt, and the battles are actually monsters – Gods – themselves, fighting each other. The chapters I read in SJ looked good, after all.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Vol. 1 - Also not Duelist – before Duelist, Yugi just used his power to control people’s minds and mess with them using illusions. Very cool. Morbid, to boot.
Hikaru no Go Vol. 1 - Hell, I’m learning to play Go, so why not? ^_^ Good art style, too.
Gin Tama Vol. 1 - If it’s out! I just read the preview in SJ this month and loved it.
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got in mind for now. Should keep me busy for quite some time – in and out of the bookstore with less and less money and more and more manga. Ja ne, all.
Yes, I'm drawing again!
For those who haven't known me for a while, I used to draw anime a lot; well, recently, I'm actually straining to improve by drawing "From reference" - as in, I pick a scene or a sketch done by a manga-ka (Usually, lately, it's Eiichiro Oda or Taito Kubo) and mimic the sketch, drawing it as closely as I can. It's easy to learn an artist's style this way; I used to do it with Lina Inverse a lot. Now, I don't have a scanner, but if I ever come across one, I'll have a fanart gallery! XD Comments (1) |

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Manga!
It looks so good; I finally saw it in Barnes and Noble today! Unfortunately, they just put out a GN in the middle of the storyline to "test its popularity." God damn, just RELEASE it, already! -_-
Oh well. Naruto's on, and since I don't want to buy dvds or download subs, I'm gonna watch it. Comments (0) |

Onegai! Senorita PV
If anyone's ever heard the story about "Densha Otoko," or "Train Man," or seen the series, or read the novel, or blahblahblah, you'll get the joke here.
!!!
Gasp! The voice of Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach) is the guy who did motion capture for Zell Dincht (FF8)! :O
Wikipedia quote:
"Masakazu Morita was born on October 21, 1972, in Tokyo, Japan. He is a video game and anime seiyuu who voice acted and motion captured Tidus and Shuyin in the Japanese versions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, and motion captured Zell Dincht of Final Fantasy VIII. He has also recently voiced Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach.
FL Codes
Damn it; looks like the FL codes I've got in my photobucket like to not work in school sometimes. I'm sure they'll load again eventually; oh well. Comments (0) |

Math Team...
I'm on the math team. That's right, I'm a nerd at my high school.
But I'm awful at math! Still ... I'm getting a team t-shirt, and my name's going to be "The Masked Multiplier." Should I get a Zorro mask? Or maybe a Japanese sentai kind of mask? Comments (2) |
