Sitting alone in New York City
New fanart! Imagine that. The anime-style obsessed may not care for it - I'm working out my own style, and I like how Yami Bakura turned out.
As for other issues - not much going on. I played Dance Dance Revolution over break ("Love Love Shine" is an evil, evil song), and sucessfully got my sisters hooked on the game. I hope to get a copy of DDR set up in my room at school. Apparently next year, I'll be living near a complete DDR addict, so I'd like to get a little better before playing at his place!
Song Currently stuck in my head:
"The World I Know" by Collective Soul
Last book read:
"The Dawn Treader" by C.S. Lewis
Last movie watched:
I believe it was "Young Frankenstein"
Until later,
CT

I'll Be Watching You
Ohayocon pictures are up - http://www.ct.velegant.com/cosplay/cosplay.htm
Well, the Grammies have done a fantastic job of disappointing me so far. Justin Timberlake just won "Best Male Vocalist" with his creepy stalker song. He was picked over _Sting_, he of the infinitely better stalker song ("I'll Be Watching You.") We're not going into who won for best female vocalist, except that the winner was _not_ Sarah McLaughlin, Dido, or Avril Lavigne.
Sigh...
*Turns up Sting's "Send Your Love."*

Comics!
Here's some good places to waste that most valuable of resources, time. Hey, if you're going to spend it, the experience may as well be worthwhile.

Off the deep end...
Entrance Fee: $20
Hours in face paint: 14
Times hugged: about 5
My first convention: Priceless
Ohayocon 2004 in Columbus, Ohio was an absolute blast. I got to drift around as Maha (.hack//SIGN), take lots of pictures, and meet fellow lunatics-er, cosplayers and fans. Oh, that was fun. Can't wait until next year!
Oh, and one piece of fanart added -
"Lord what fools..." (Card Captor Sakura x Gargoyles)

So tired...
Finally put some fanart up - I'm still trying to figure out where my Gargoyles x Final Fantasy pieces go. (Why isn't there a section for crossover video games?)
Lion King DVD out today - Hooray!
"I am surrounded by idiots." - Scar
Must go to sleep before computer burns my eyes out again.

Keep fans updated on my life...
r-i-i-i-i-i-ght.
I don't know about weblogs. I don't follow any, don't fervently push the "refresh" button, waiting for the next update.
We are fascinated with other people's lives, whether it's sneaking a peek at your sister's journal or watching a stranger make a fool of himself on "reality" TV.
We share their joys, triumphs, and tribulations. Even the mundane tasks, visiting Walmart or raking the yard, become news when it happens to someone else.
Why is that? Are our own lives so lacking in excitement and meaning that we must live vicariously through others?
Ah well.
