Well this is just fabulous. (Sarcasm)
So Jake and Chloe are leaving today after I go to work. Hooray. Yesterday Chloe asked me why I wasn't packed to leave and I had to lie and say I was busy becuause "Grandma hates me." are not choice words for a second-grader.

So, last Friday was absolutely hellish. The parents were worse then they were last year. One woman spent almost her entire conference explaining to me why she doubted my credibility as a teacher. She says it's a few things-
*I was wearing a sweatshirt over my work shirt (It was freezing!)
*My voice (Yes. My voice. Unbelievable.)
*The fact that I "look like a teenager"
*She just "isn't getting the right sort of vibe from me"

Another one wanted to discuss all of her child's classes with me. She didn't seem to grasp that I only knew how he was doing in Engligsh.

There's more, but I don't intend to bore you with all of that.
