Happy Halloween!
I actually had a lot of fun today, even if Jake isn't here. The principal sent me a memo that the teachers were supposed to (i.e: Required to) dress up, so I dressed as a teenager (creativley using the clothes I wear on weekends). I was sitting at my desk and when my first class came in they thought I was some kid touring the school who was trying to be funny by sitting at the teacher's desk. Lauren (a student, if that isn't apparent) came up to me and said
"I don't think Mr.Winters will want you sitting at his desk."
"Lauren? I AM Mr.Winters." Then she said
"OH MY GOD!" and I thought that was kind of funny. It made me feel... less old... that they thought I was their age.
I'm going to eat at Jake's resteraunt for dinner tonight... I bet it's falling apart without him, ha ha. Those poor incompetent teenagers are probably tearing the place apart. *laughs*
I learned something today. One of my students gave me some candy corn, which I had never had before. It looks good but *it tastes like sugary wax*. Weird, huh?

PS: Last night Jake and I talked on the phone for 3 hours. I just realized what a hell of a long distance bill I'm going to get, seeing as Rhode Island to Ohio is most definately LONE DISTANCE. *cries over this fact*
