The Dead Walks

A teenage boy sat comfortably in the back of a limo hiding between tinted windows. The fifteen-year-old watched slowly thinking of what the world would really be had out there.

He shuffled himself on the leather seats towards the light and waiting for it to hide behind the clouds like children in horror movies.

His black hair darkened from the evil deeds of fear throughout the clouds cover of reality as a window from the front driver opened downwards.

The Chauffer popped his head towards him not realising that the traffic light had turned red.

“So. Master Dave. What you been up to today?” asked the suspicious man still looking at the boy. His English accent was hard not to tell.

“Not much,” whispered Dave still day dreaming out the window. The Chauffer raised an eyebrow.

“Was there a lot of blood?” asked the driver again being noisy. This got Dave’s attention as he gave a nasty look.

“Yes, Luke. It poured everywhere across the stage,” answered Dave smiling at the thought of blood and licking his lips softly.

Luke turned back around and did not notice that he had travelled through many red lights. Blue and red flashes came from behind the limo followed by the crashing sound of the loud banging siren.

Luke pulled up slowly on the high street just because a ‘lush’ woman as he would call it walked along the path smiling with her white teeth and her skirt blew with her beautiful blond hair. Dave was not bothered.

A middle aged man walked out of his car and slowly moved to them after putting his special sunglasses on to make himself look cool with his bleach blond spiky hair. The gel on his head had been put on in such lumps it looked like someone with the biggest nose sneezed over him.

The man walked slowly as Luke quickly got his fake license out from the glove box.

The window was wound down making a squeaking noise like a mouse until it had reached the bottom of its peak.

“I hope you’ve noticed that you’ve gone through three red lights!” shouted the officer as finally he reached the car. The guy smiled chuffed that finally he had caught someone since he had obviously gotten this new job.

“Do accept my apology but I must take this Celebrity back quickly and along a safe route,” said Luke in a very posh tone of voice that Dave did not recognise and never heard of before.

The officer done his slow sluggish walk to the back of the limo and tried to look in the tinted windows. The crazy fool got a shock when Dave pulled down the window.

Shocked, stunned and amazed like someone had put a tazer on his arm and paralysed him.

“Why... it’s Dave McBlake!” shouted the officer stunned by his catch.

“Yes I can tell. Now hurry on I want to get home!” shouted Dave full of sarcasm and about to pop like a fizzy coke.

“Hey! Fine, I’ll let you off if I get to ride in the back with you,” said the officer giving the worse smile Dave had ever seen.

“Yes course you can (I feel a little peckish),” whispered Dave now feeling a rumbled feeling in his stomach.

The officer was excited like a child having his main Christmas present on Christmas.

The limo driver looked back at him to see what evil plan he was up to.

The officer bounced on the leather seats enjoying the company of a famous star.

“What is it like being a Star?” asked the officer after settling in to his new limo.

“It’s hard when you’re trying to get home early and trying to go alone,” said Dave acting like he wasn’t happy about any of this rubbish. The guy looked at him awkwardly.

“I saw the last theatre act you did with the ‘Killers’ Theatre company,” said the crazy fool not knowing what Dave was going to do to him as he tried to make conversation.

“Oh, really?” said Dave not looking interested in anything the guy was saying. Dave licked his hand and rubbed it against the ruff edges of his mouth to check if he needed a shave or not.

“Yeah! The blood looked so real as it poured all over the floor! I was surprised that the woman screamed like it was all real!” shouted the officer not realising that Dave was bored and didn’t give a damn about anything he was saying.

“Great acting by the dead woman,” whispered Dave quiet enough so the officer didn’t hear him.

“I can’t wait for the next bloody goring act!” shouted the man as Dave’s face turned at the right moment in his time to do something he had now waited to do. Luke knew what he was going to do and there for he closed the window to the front driver seat for safety precautions to this incident of mayhem.

The music of Start Something by Lost Prophets was turned up to the loud so no noise could be heard from inside the limo and no-one would expect anything. Dave smiled with a neatly smirk shining across his face almost like an evil grin.

“I’ll tell you something Mr...?” asked Dave in order to finish his evil plan with a successful line before going for the finally.

“Oh, please call me Wilson,” answered the now found out officer as he touched his hair like it was a fashion statement.

“Wilson. I’m afraid something bad will happen to you! You’ll suffer an incident that you can’t escape and you can’t control to your power! A much more beyond any human that you don’t know existed!” screamed Dave as his eyes went red and his face crinkled to the face as wrinkled as an old man. Huge pointed teeth came out in the front holding stains of blood all the way across the mouth as a rumble came from Dave’s stomach.

Wilson burst out laughing at the vampire that looked awkward at the stranger. He was convinced that this was Dave’s costume from the theatre and laughed even more.

“What are you doing?” asked Dave looked at his food angrily.

“What do you mean what are you doing?” asked Wilson back not knowing what he was doing wrong.

“This is real! I’m a real vampire! And I’m meant to eat you after I said that!” shouted Dave unbelievable looking forward to his main course since eating the woman on stage had just been the beginning of his bloody conquest since he had become a vampire.

“So if you’re a real vampire can you phase in and out of solid objects like the myths say you can?” asked the annoying Wilson wondering what it’s like to be a vampire.

“No,” said Dave.

“Yes! You can!” shouted Wilson starting an argument between the two.

After roughly two minutes of shouted ‘yes’ and ‘no’ Dave had finally given up. He was stunned and shocked about his lunch.

“I can’t believe this! I’m arguing with my lunch!” shouted Dave again allowing himself to feel down and frustrated with himself.

“I can’t believe you’re a vampire!” shouted Wilson now starting to get annoyed. Dave grabbed Wilson’s neck turning it on the side in order to bite him.

“Mama told me not to play with my food!” shouted Dave going in for the kill as the window in the front was wound down. Luke popped his head out.

“Sorry, Sir. I’m afraid you have a crowd cheering you on in the front gate,” Dave sighed and turned back to his normal pretty self, waving at the people climbing and raging to get their picture of the well known star.

“If you tell anyone about this I’ll kill you! This time you were lucky!” shouted Dave not turning to Wilson.

The gates opened and let a blond haired female inside the gate just because Dave was still too hungry. Dave was having a hope that she was nothing like the other prate that was in his car.

Dave opened the golden doors with the evil gargoyle knobs turning it making a spooky scary sound frightening Wilson before the woman walked in getting scared by the noise.

Dave was in his dressing gown and had left Wilson to have a look around at his ancestor’s and what the creepy mansion looked like.

The woman had walked in checking her top and looking in the reflection of the evil addiction that she desired, to get lots of men’s attention. She flicked her hair back as Luke the butler came to the front to welcome the guest in a fashionable manor.

The butler had been wearing his clothes like any other and tidied his suit a little.

“Welcome to the house of Dave McBlake. I’m sure you would love to have a drink Ms...?” asked Luke slowly and in his usual English accent making him seem as posh as ever.

“Ms Davies. Actually you can call me Monica. And I’ll have a WKD if you’ve got one,” said Monica again looking at her short light blond hair.

“We’ve got everything her Monica. And now I present Mr Dave McBlake!” shouted Luke being sarcastic as usual as Dave walked down the stair with two WKD bottles in his hand. The blue liquid being the flavour of the drink gave Monica a shock of a lifetime.

“How did you know blue was my favourite one?” asked Monica taking a swig of the vodka mix.

“Isn’t blue always the favourite?” asked Dave not answering her question.

“I am like your so biggest fan Dave!” shouted Monica pleased and impressed.

“How about you and me go to the spare guest room if you know what I mean,” said Dave raising an eyebrow at her as she agreed. Dave knew exactly what she thought he meant but he meant a lot different.

She slowly walked up to the top floor at the back of the house as Lost Prophets Sway was placed in the computer and turned on full blast allowing Luke to go on the internet as well as not being able to hear the two.

The tinniest scream could not be heard from the mansion over the speaker singing the great hits of music done by the one and only Lost Prophets that every fan outside sang to.

Blood dripped slowly onto Luke’s hand and across his clean white shirt that was later put in the wash as he looked at the wristbands on e-bay. He looked for a live longer band so that he might not get killed by the demon that had taken Dave McBlake since he was eighteen years old.

More blood poured through on Wilson who started to think that he shouldn’t be here anymore and walked over to see what Luke was doing. Dave could sense the fear in the both of them as he let go of Monica letting her dead body fall with a loud thud on the floor. Two teeth holes had been implanted by Dave as he wiped his lips feeling refreshed from his lunch for today. The dark red clothes he wore made the blood stains on it look like it was just part of the ordinary fabric of his robe.

As he reached the stairs he shouted down to Luke who got a shock as Wilson jumped through the air and landed backside first on the wooden floor.

“Luke! I’m afraid there is a mess to clear up in the guest room! May you attend to it while I must change this thick human to a normal person,” said Dave giving an evil eye upon their guest. The smell of fear off Wilson came out like the aerosol Lynx was sprayed out for two hours full blast.

Luke hurried on past his master and left the computer so that Dave could not see the wristbands. Wilson shivered as slowly and steadily Dave walked down from his left foot first to the right making sure he would not fall on the way down, like he had seen before on Scary Movie 2.

As he came to the end of the stairs Dave’s frown had changed to a smile as Wilson pulled his frozen legs to the door.

“I don’t want to harm you,” whispered Dave laughing his head off at the stupid bloke.

“How can I trust you after you nearly killed me in the car?” asked Wilson taking another step towards the door ready to open it and pelt it down the road.

“Because I just want to show a special room,” answered Dave walking to the right room through a door.

As Dave had left Wilson stood there looking at himself in the mirror and then looking at the door. The door had a picture of Jesus on the cross and a cloud shaped in a picture of a face was looking down upon a man. The picture made the man look more like a twenty year old than what it really was. The man was on his knees begging God for something. On the bottom a date and name was placed. It read:

Jesus and Davidus McBlake

The begging.

Wilson stood staring at the piece of art and then realising who the person begging was. The green paint had been dusted regularly and looked like it had been kept in mint condition for a while. Wilson’s curiosity got the better of him in every way that was possible. He walked in through the door to a film that was dusty and smelt like loads of people had been killed. Rats ran freely across the floor as Dave stood on the heads of one of the creatures. It squealed until had been suffocating enough.

Dave stood by more pictures of him and painting of other people that must have been his friends.

“Come on down here! I won’t bite,” shouted Dave pulling a lever making a stairways appear near Dave. Dave jumped giving an evil laughter echoing down against the sounds of walls.

Wilson did not hesitate this time to jump down the hole. The dark walls looked creepy but still didn’t stop him. Just as he could see the light up ahead he suddenly remembered that he couldn’t land on his feet.

Instead of landing on his legs Dave looked at Wilson as he could see that he had hit the solid floor on his head.
