AYSO 940 Soccer (Fall '05)
AYSO Region 940 championship results

"U-14 Girls: Kalaheo defeated Lihue 4-0 completing a perfect season with a 10-0 record. Kylie Taniguchi scored twice with Kai Zirker and Britney Gardner scoring one goal each.

U-14 Boys: Kalaheo SPF (red) bested Waimea (blue) 2-1. Kainoa French tapped in a quick goal in the first minute of action. Wyatt Chicoine answered for Waimea, but Kaleo Tin buried a direct kick from outside in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

U-12 Boys: The Koloa Thunder and the Hanapepe West Side played a tough match only to even out at 1-1 after regulation time expired.

Ryan Perez scored on a break away for Koloa after Micah Quinlan had given the West Side a first half lead.

Neither team could score through two "golden goal" overtime periods. The game then had to be decided by penalty kicks. Koloa's Hal Martin notched the game winner as the sixth shooter.

Dylan Snyder's stops as keeper for Koloa were crucial for the victory."
