There, the background should be fixed so that it’s not distorted for anyone. Thanks for the suggestion Dany, I was thinking of doing that, but I got so tired last night I said screw it, it’ll go up like it is. =P Oh yeah, and the bishi in the avi and banner in the post is Himura Kenshin as the Battousai. If I had my way though, he’d of stayed the Battousai and never become a wander, but meh, I still love him.
Remember the otaku padawan idea I had? Well I’ve finally adopted a newbie as my padawan! I’ve taken [ Jess] as my very own. So that means, you’d better be nice to her. =P Remember, you can ask advice anytime, and I’ll always be around as a friend. Which reminds me. I know there were some people interesting in doing this little mentoring thing, so if you still are, I just might make a list of potential masters and padawans.
I may go see The Omen tonight. I’ve heard some mixed reviews of it, so we’ll see. I think I’ve rambled on enough for one post, so have a good day everyone.
River: The human body can be drained of blood in 8.6 seconds, given adequate vacuuming systems.
Mal: See, morbid and creepifying, I got no problem with. Long as she does it quiet like.

As you can see, there’s a new theme up. Its Vincent and Lucrecia from Final Fantasy VII. I know I said Heero and Duo, but oh well, maybe next time. All the bits and images of this theme were put together to fit my browser, which is 1280x1024. I’m not sure if viewing this theme at a lower setting will distort how all the images fit together or not. So I’ll ask you, does everything line up alright how you are viewing it? Or is it mucked up on the far left or right underneath the welcome image?
The new music is an oldie, I know. But I love the song, and it fits somehow, how exactly I don’t know. But hey, whatever. The lyrics posted aren't the lyrics from the English version, it's the more literal translation done later.
Thanks for the comments for last post. You’ll have to forgive me, I get like that some times.

Wow, when they say Vault kicks like an energy drink, they ain’t lying, yo. Drink a couple of those and you’re ready to run a marathon. Anyway, John and I went to see X-Men III yesterday. I thought it was pretty good. Those movies always did entertain me. Hmm, Hugh Jackman. Heh, got to see my site’s namesake on screen. =P
We got to see two interesting sites on the way home from the theater. One was protesters. Protesting the Da Vinci Code, no less. Anal retentive, over zealous Christians, I tell ya. Like the saying goes, so many Christians, so few lions. Hehehe. Ahem, I’m sorry, I don’t have a problem with Christianity, I really don’t. Just people that tell others how they should think. The funniest thing about that was they had signs like “HONK AGIANST THE DA VINCO CODE.” I’ve seen signs that say “honk for this” but never against. o_O Needless to say, no one honked for them.
The other cool thing was we got to see a horse and carriage! It was a beautiful white carriage drawn by two gorgeous white horses. It had these girls all dressed up for the prom in the carriage. Man, what a way to go to prom, eh? Talk about style. Anyway, I’ve babbled enough, have a good day everyone!

So how was everyone’s Memorial Day? I hope you had fun what ever you did. As for me? I worked, haha. Yeah, that was reeaal fun. But we did go out for Chinese afterwards, so that’s a bonus.
As I mentioned last post, I am wanting to theme change this site. And already have the possible couples picked out… but inspiration is lacking. It is most likely going to be Heero/Duo. I just can’t settle on anything that has motivated me to make something of it. Heh, I’m such a slacker.
New music… just cause I feel like it. I love this song, and it fits the mood. So enjoy.

I saw the Da Vinci Code last night. And I loved it. Heh, kept me hooked to it. I think they made it very well. I realize there was far more detail in the book. But that was the book. People get all testy about that too. But you can’t get every detail from a book into a movie, there just isn’t time. Different media also. Oh, and I love Paul Bettany. He’s such a cool actor. Loved him ever since A Knight’s Tale.
Well, this is a short post; I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day! Have fun and stay safe you guys!

And since its tradition to decorate the graves with poppies on this day…
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Memorial Day is coming up, pools will be opened and all that jazz. Although I’ll be working through it all, bah. As for my week so far, lets see, well at work I stabbed myself, right in the palm of the hand with a knife. Oh yeah, that was fun. Didn’t do much damage though, just managed to scare the crap out of me, heh. Oh yeah, then last week I thought I broke my wrist for a moment. As the whole little bone that sticks out to create that little knob at your wrist totally snapped in and out of place. Don’t know how nothing really did manage to break, but I’m not complaining. I guess it really does give meaning to the phrase flexible wrists.
Monday at work was crappy, but I think I’ll withhold complaining about that too. Heh, as this has become a rather bitchy post hasn’t it? I think I’ll be changing this site’s theme soon. As soon as I feel motivated to make it, which trust me, may be a while. I think I’m going to go for a little shonen-ai. Either YamixYugi, BakuraxRyou, or a little 1x2x1. Yeah, I know, its just inviting myself to get flamed. But like people telling me to go to hell on this site is anything new. Hehe, and besides, flaming me will give ‘em something to do.

Drifting… Drifting… What to post about? What have I been doing? o_O Yesterday was busy as hell at work, and it sucked. Next weekend will be worse. I usually like Memorial Day, all the pools opening up and such, but I’ll be working all weekend this time.
Heh, I got this urge to watch Gundam Wing again, so I am. I’m almost to the end of the series. So at least that’s been occupying my time. Mmm, Heero and Duo. And although mei-mei’s gonna shoot me for this, mmm 1x2x1. I can’t help it. Leave me with a show about a group of pretty guys, what do you expect.
And so none of the girls feel deprived, how about a little 1x2x1 for you as well?

Tea: Uh, guys... what's going on here?
Joey: Well Tea, it's like this. There's two Yugis.
[jerks a thumb up at Yami]
Joey: There's the cool one up there, and the puny one down here.

Oh man, I am so tired. I think my iron levels must be all sorts of whacked out right now. Heh, it has been a good while since I’ve posted hasn’t it? I guess I’ve been neglecting this place a bit. For that, I am sorry. I’ll see if I can’t visit you guys after work, again, I apologize for not being around.
What have I been doing? Watching loads of Inuyasha and Escaflowne! Mmm, how could you not love Van? Dark haired, angsty, bishi with wings that he is.
That, and my AMV obsession is still going, heh. When I posted the last ones, I didn’t realize how many people still had dial-up. I feel your pain. I’d have to pull my hair out if I still had it. Anyway, for those of you who can watch them, here are two more! Haha. These are both extremely good though!
Rat Race - Ranma: This is pure anime love. That’s all I can say. If ever there was a song to match an anime, they couldn’t have found a better one.
Bohemian Rhapsody - YGO:The Bohemian Rhapsody and bishies, my night is complete. =P Who doesn’t love that song? Or this vid!

Heh, I think I’ve become addicted to AMV’s. So… it’s youtube time! I have been hooked on that site for the last two days. For any of you music and/ bored anime fans out there, some lighthearted entertainment worth checking out! And I mean, like seriously. [Don't forget to stop the music]
[ Eye’s Like Yami’s] - YGO: for any of you Yami Yugi/Atemu fangirls out there. Yes, I know there are plenty of you. Rejoice my fellow RFP gals. This video is for you. Definitely a fangirl centric vid. But all in all, it’s quite funny.
[ Material Girl] - Ranma: If ever there was a song to fit Nabiki, I haven’t found one. Excellent video featuring the one and only material girl, Nabiki. A must for Ranma fans. Like seriously, check this thing out!
[ Wild Wild West] - Trigun: A wonderful video featuring Vash the Stampede as James West. This vid is one of the most entertaining things I’ve ever seen. High energy. Very well done. VERY entertaining.
Aaaaand well, that’s all for now. I’ll probably link some more later, for anyone interested/bored. Best of luck to all of you entering, or finishing finals!
