Green Day – Time of Your Life

Well, well, well, this post is actually more of a dedication. A dedication to a very special lady. Yesterday was [Evil’s] two year MyO Anniversary! Although I haven’t known muffin the whole time, what did we figure, it’s probably like a year and a half? Perhaps a little more. Anyway, in that time she’s grown to be very dear to me.

I’ve watched our little Alexa grow to be such a wonderful lady. For me, she’s always been full of life and laughter. One of the few people that can make me smile and laugh during the lowest of times. And if you know me, you’ll know I treasure laughter. The world could use far more of it, I say! Her gift of laughter and that forward sense of humor mean so much to me. And it’s not just the humor; she truly is a caring, beautiful, and friendly gal. I am more than honored to have had the chance to get to know her. To share in her thoughts and worries. And I can’t imagine not having her around now.

Hehe, I still think our idea of becoming lesbians cause boys are lame, holds some consideration. XP

So Evil, Alexa, my muffin… this song is for you. For a couple of reasons, one I love the song, heh. And two, isn’t it funny how people just fall together some times and it works so right? You really do make our time together the best and I wish you the happiest of futures.

Doco – Ranma Season 1 OP

Wow, so are you other mid-Atlantic peoples enjoying this sunny, breezy, 70-degree weather we’re having? Gosh, it’s been gorgeous all week. And the spring flowers are blooming as well as those pretty yellow bushes (the names of which escape me right now)!! I’m loving it, it’s finally green out once more. Huzzah! As you can tell, I’m excited, I love spring. Like, I really love spring.

Shadow, my spring flower, I have your birthday gift, ya. Before I can send it I just need to know your favorite anime bishi.

Heh, and even though this video is an oldie, it’s classic. And it still makes me giggle every time I watch it, so just because I’m in a good mood, enjoy the Picard Song.

I should also mention, I despise April Fools day, so don't bother with the pranks here.

Oh man, it’s been a while since I’ve posted, eh? Heh, blame it on Oblivion. That game is eating all my time. Heh, long live Sithis! The game is huge, huge, I tell you. I have been neglecting fireflyfans.net and the council forums as well, so not just here.

I’m not so good of an early riser, blah to 5am. Anyway, this post isn’t to complain. It’s for only one thing…

To wish my hikari a Happy 18th Birthday!! Happy Birthday [Beckles]!!! Ah, the lovely legal age of 18. Go and do as tradition dictates. And enjoy the pr0n for us!! XD

Thanks for everyone’s comments. ^_^ Glad you are liking Ranma. I do have a question for you though. Can you hear the music? And if you can, did it start right away for you?

Oh man! From what I played ofThe Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion last night, it’s damn awesome! If you’ve never seen any of the screen shots before, check [these] out. And yeah, they’re actual in game footage. The game is gorgeous and huge!

Short post, yeah, but it’s early and I have to go to work, heh.

Doco – Ranma Season 1 OP

The Ranma spring theme is up! Heh, and yes, the links in the intro pic work this time. =P I thought pink and green would be nice spring colors. Course, it turned out more pink than green than I originally planned. o_O But oh well. The theme is pretty much finished, except for the background. It doesn’t have all its decorativeness yet.

I thought a little Ranma music would get us in the mood as well. XP

So who else is excited that the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion comes out today?! I can’t freakin wait!! That game is going to rock so hard. This is going to be a landmark game, like FF7 was back in the day.

And now, I’m so tired, I’m going to hobble my way to bed. Goodnight, or good day! Depending on when you read this.

Thanks for everyone’s St. Patrick’s Day well wishes. My holiday went just fine. Since everyone liked The Boxer, so much, I put it back up for one last post. This will be the last post for it and the green theme. Man, I’m going to miss Connor and Murphy! No more Irish twins! Boo. But Ranma, the next theme, is an awesome anime. Ranma/Ryoga *double heart*

I finally got to see The Legend of Zorro. I’m such a Zorro fan, heh, I’m half tempted to do an Elena and Alejandro theme next instead.

Urgh, I’ve gotten my first runner’s injury in a while. My heel is killing me. That spot, right between the heel of your foot and the ankle. Anyone know what I’m talking about? It even hurts when I’m not standing on it. -_- I suppose I’ll have to lay off the running for a few days. Cause it started yesterday and I ran on it today, and it made it worse.

I think that’s it, have a good day everyone!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Don’t forget your green today, gya ah ah. I love this holiday. Our St. Patrick’s Day song is one by the Pogues. They’re like, the original Irish rock band, heh. All those bands like the Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly… the Pogues are their roll models. They are where the sound came from, so enjoy the original pioneers.

Some holiday trivia:

The person who was to become St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, was born in Wales about AD 385. His given name was Maewyn, and he almost didn't get the job of bishop of Ireland because he lacked the required scholarship.

Far from being a saint, until he was 16, he considered himself a pagan. At that age, he was sold into slavery by a group of Irish marauders that raided his village. During his captivity, he became closer to God.

The St. Patrick's Day custom came to America in 1737. That was the first year St. Patrick's Day was publicly celebrated in this country, in Boston.

School children started the tradition of wearing green. Green is also the color of spring, the shamrock and is connected with hope and nature

Why kiss the Blarney stone? Blarney Castle is located in County Cork, Ireland. Built in 1446 by Cormac Laidhim McCarthy (Lord of Muskerry) the Blarney stone is located in the southern tower wall between the main castle wall and the parapet. In order to kiss the stone one has to lie on their back and bend backward (and downward), holding iron bars for support. It is said that the Blarney stone has magical properties. As legend has it an old woman cast a spell on the stone to reward a king who had saved her from drowning. Kissing the stone gave the king the ability to speak sweetly and convincingly.

Alright, next up on our Irish selection is an Irish folk song. You’ll have to hit play on the music player because it’s not set to auto play (and give it a sec to load). Why you ask? Heh, well this is an Irish folk song, they like their drinking, and they like their humor. =P So it’s not necessarily a kids song, yo. Granted, there shouldn’t be any kids under 13 on here, right….hmm? But either way, you’ve been warned…. Now hit play!

I finally went and got the Goblet of Fire yesterday. And oh man, it reminded me how much I loved that movie. *Major H/Hr shipper* Sigh… anyway, we also got Walk the Line. No surprise there. Two of my favorite things, Harry Potter and Johnny Cash. XD

I am finally starting to get used to the more strenuous work out schedule. Heh, I no longer feel like I’m going to keel over the next day, so it’s all good. Well, enjoy the silly song and the rest of your day everyone!

Our first up on the Irish songs is a slow one. It’s Harry’s Game by Clannad. For those of you whom don’t know, Clannad is made up of Enya’s family. She sung with them before going on her own, so yep, that’s her singing. What a family of singers, eh?

I have tomorrow off! And man, I can’t wait. Le sigh, just have to make it through work today. For those in the mid-Atlantic region, how are we liking this sunny, 70 degree weather?! It’s awesome. It feels like spring and I love it! I am not a cold weather person.
