Okay, one of our Summer Fun judges has pulled out, so we are in need of a new one. If anyone would like to volunteer for this position, please PM me about it. Heh, I don’t suppose this will be long to fill, as it’s the contestants that are hard to find.

Today has been pretty crappy. Ya know, one of those days when the little things agitate you for no reason. Then on the way home, when I finally get to leave work, I had to sit through construction, don’t you just hate that? But that didn’t take so long, what took forever was waiting to get by an accident right BEFORE the construction. I mean, gah, stack it up why don’t you.

So meh, I’m going to eat and go to bed.

:EDIT: Scratch that, I think I'll theme change first, so if you come and find whacked out colors, chill, it's only temporary.

Well, the judges’ site is now up and functional, for any contestant who’d like to see who is going to be judging your artwork.

I want to change my theme, but I’m blank as to what to change it to. Anyone want to see any anime/character/game… or anything really, in particular?

Well, everyone seems to want to continue through with this contest thing, so I guess it’s a go then. And we’ll try to extend the deadline, I’ll give it to September 1st, how’s that sound? I think any later than that and it’s really getting out of summer. So spread the word chickadees!

It’s been a while since I’ve been around here, uh? I guess my only excuse is that I just haven’t felt like it. But we have some unfinished business. On to this contest thing…

Well, there were lots of people who wanted to be judges, and after I cut that off, there were plenty of people who said they would enter. More than I expected, I have to say. But when it came down to the deadline, there were a grand total of only 5 people who actually got their entries in. Five out of literally a couple dozen. So… now our question is… and this is more for the artist and judges than anyone, shall we continue on anyway? Do you want your entries judged with only 5 of you? Or shall we call this years Summer Fun a bust and try again next summer? If you decide not to go on with this, I’ll still display your work here, so that people will see your drawings. Cause the ones we do have are gorgeous.

I leave it up to everyone. Let me know your opinions.

My answer: I thought it was way to rushed. That was just to much time to be covered in less than two hours. I mean, one minute Anakin is a good guy, then he worries a little bit, then bam, he’s a baddie. I felt that needed much more attention in the movie.

Man, I think I’ve managed to strain my wrist doing Pilates. Heh, or hell, my whole right side. Talk about the achiness today, aiya. But I am determined to keep it up! And I apologize for not getting to everyone today.

Our friends came over for dinner Monday, so I have yet to see The Island. Oh I can’t wait! Ewan hawtness. Dinner was fun though… they also have a one year old daughter (our goddaughter btw) and wow, she can walk and all that good stuff already. And into everything. It showed us that our house is cat proofed… but obviously not baby proofed. o_O

Oh, I am sore. I started running again, and it’s been quite a while. Other than that, there’s not much else to report about me. Just trying to get my lazy butt back into shape. And I just watched American Pie, so I’m in a pretty good mood, gotta love movies about sex. =P

Bah, it’s a Laurel weekend, and that sucks ass.

Well, there is only two days left for the Summer Fun Contest deadline!! So if you wanted to enter, now would be a very good idea to get your entries in. Remember, if you don’t send me your url, I don’t know you are entering. I’d hate to have to cancel this thing because of lack of participation.

Hmm, what to say? I seem to ask myself that too much anymore just to post. There are plenty of things I could talk about, but most of them would bore you. So why bother, ne?

Well, I guess I could point out that there is only 6 days left for the Summer Fun Contest deadline! Your time is quickly running down. And I know I haven’t gotten those PM’s out to THAT squad leaders yet, I am a lazy bum, Happy?

Ah, and a discovery from last night, heh, the reason I am listening to this song now. I fell in love with Run. But anyway, this link [here] is more for snow fox, cause I think you’ll like this. A sort of thank you for the hotness Jedi picture you came back with. ^_~ But any Star Wars fan can go look, I suppose.

Summer Fun Contest: 10 days until the deadline

Right now, I feel like crap. Blah, I felt fine earlier, so I dunno what gives. But yuck. So we’ll keep this short and sweet. I have some movie ranting to do!

I saw two good movies today! The first one was the Fantastic 4. Holy crap! That was a great film. The movie was just plain fun, that’s the only way to describe it. That, and everyone one was like, hot in it. So lots of eye candy. Always a bonus.

And the other was Fahrenheit 9/11. I would challenge any politically opinionated person to watch it before you say you hate it. Or anyone else who gives a care about what’s happening around you and what our government is doing. It was quite the eye opener.

And on a random note, I tried the most disgusting thing today. The ‘rotten eggs’ Bertie Bot’s Every Flavor Beans.
