I guess it’s been a while since I’ve posted here, uh? I wanted to thank everyone for their nice comments on my last post. I appreciate them all.

Lets see, what I have I done the last few days? Heh, renewed two old obsessions… for Jedi and Johnny Smith. Well, I finally got to see Episode III, which as expected, kicked rocks. Oh, sooo good. Other than that I’ve been watching the Dead Zone (bought the first and second season). And I can’t wait till season 3 comes out June 7th! Label me a certified Smith-a-phile.

And I’ve decided something, since I have so many people on my friends list, most of which do visit now and then so I’d hate to take them off. I am going to start to only visit the people who comment here. After I visit all those who have commented and I still have time then I’ll visit others. I’m not doing this to be rude or anything and I hope no one takes it personally, but so many people around here expect me to visit them everyday without taking the time to come to my page, and I’m afraid I simply don’t have the time to hit every single person on my friends list every day.

Thanks for the compliments on the site. For some reason I just wasn’t happy with the blue Obi-Wan (despite my obsession for Ewan). So as I was sitting here, sleepless at 6am I saw that Padme pick and just HAD to change it. Muffin, Mimminx, and Shadow… you flatterers you.

I was going to make my rounds now as I ate my dinner, but I came home to the news that one of my favorite uncles from my childhood died today. He was the most fun, carefree one I had. The type that always had a smile on his face and a ready joke at hand. One of the people I learned my strange sense of humor from. The sad thing is, him and my aunt just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year. And although I didn’t get to see him as much when I went away to college then got married, he will be greatly missed. Bah, its making me teary-eyed to write this so I’m going to go watch the Dead Zone.

Star Wars opens today!! How exciting! I don’t get to see it today, how unexciting. It will have to wait until Monday, boo. How very, very boo. I SO want to see this movie, right now!

Well, the only interesting thing that happened to me last night, was I cut my finger and got slide stain in it (the stuff that dyes anything organic) and it stained the cut. Now it’s purple, and it won’t come off. o_O

There, for those of you who had trouble finding the comment button, as well as other things, happy? We have red and black now. The blood red is pretty easy to see, ne? No Star Wars yet… but soon. I’m more of an Anarchs fan myself, but the Camarilla has its good points. For those of you who’ve never played, Vampires: The Masquerade, are going to have no idea what I’m talking about. o_O

My mom proved yet again today that she can be a total downer. Try to take the woman out for dinner, which the day and time we freakin’ set ahead of time, and then she has the nerve to get pissy with me, says she doesn’t want to go, and for me to go home. And all I did was show up! Wtf? Honestly, she is the hardest person to deal with sometimes. Good thing my dad was coming and he has a lot of patience (which is who I learned my high tolerance level from) and he talked her into not being a bitch for a little while and to get the hell out the door. I apologize for the rant, but she can really make me mad sometimes. I’m not a person prone to outburst or losing my cool, nor do I yell at people often, but my mother and I have had more screeching catfights than I’d like to admit. *sigh* Whatever, at least she loosened up over dinner.

Yep, my site is dark. It’s supposed to be. It’s BLACK. So those who complained about it, tough. And just so you know, the Rolling Stones kick rocks, don’t fight it.

And so does Star Wars!! Only 9 days left until episode 3 comes out! Hu-freakin-zzah! More hottness Ewan Mcgregor. Mmm. Does he bring a lot of eye-candy as Obi-Wan or what?! I am very pumped about this. Heh, the closer it gets to the movie’s opening, look for a Star Wars theme. And you can guess who’ll be in it! Shanny = Huge Ewan fangirl.

Interesting little tidbit…

The 2001 census results revealed that 390,000 people in the UK gave their religion as Jedi. That’s 0.7 per cent of the population.

Thanks everyone. It has been a really crappy last three days. Yesterday started off the same way, but work went pretty well and actually improved my mood. Heh, go figure. I got called sunshine by someone for the first time last night. I get called lady, baby doll, and pretty lady at work a lot, but never sunshine.

It was also one of those nights where I had a lot of crap spilt on me, but by then I was in a good mood, so it’s all good. And once again, your support is very appreciated Shadow-san. Well chickadees, I’m off to bed, so have a good Monday!
