I have a parade to march with my majorette group. It’s the Mummer’s Parade in Hagerstown, MD, for those in the area. It sucks and is great at the same time. It sucks because it’s like 6 miles long, and everyone is drop dead tired at the end. It’s cool because 1.) It’s televised! 2.) We get to use our glow stick batons!!! Imagine a whole bunch of majorettes marching in the dark, twirling sticks with glowing ends… pretty!

It’s Halloween!!!
Yeah!! Happy Halloween everyone! So who’s going trick or treating tomorrow, err tonight? Come on, admit it.
And now, some fun Halloween facts!

Halloween's roots can be traced back to Celtic culture in Ireland. According to their "Druid" religion, November 1st was New Years' on their calendar. The celebration would begin on October 31st , and last into the following day. The spirits of all who died in the prior year would rise up and roam the earth on this night.
This is an evil night when spirits roamed the streets and villages. Lord Samhain, the lord of Darkness, would arrive in search of the spirits to take them to the underworld.
Halloween as it is currently celebrated with costumes, trick or treat, and superstitions, takes from this Druid Holiday.

The Irish carved Turnips and put coals or small candles inside. They were placed outside their homes on All Hallow's Eve to ward off evil spirits. They were also known to use potatoes and Rutabagas.

I really need sleep... or therapy
Well, my day sucked royally. My boss is a total (insert a few choice words). But it is over now! Yippie! Oh, I was thinking at work today, well more of daydreaming really, about the Olympic sport of mime torching that Tigress, NightBeck, and I are going to start. We need preliminaries, in the good ‘ol Olympic fashion. We could round up all of Nikki’s mime competition as the subjects. The three of us could be the judges and we could ask someone like Flint to be master of games or something, since we all know he is a master of torture. All of our otaku buddies are invited to watch of course, and some may even want to enter!
We could have breaks for entertainment during the preliminaries and combine it with the other great sport of elf torture! The cheerleaders can still tackle the elf every once in a while. And, just for kicks and to start it off in style, we can set the elf on fire at the beginning ceremony! It will be or own little games torch. We could parade him around for a while then Tigress could punch a hole in a huge keg or cool aid with her big sword to put him out. Then the games begin!
Hmm, thinking is a dangerous pastime!

Hey guys!
I’m in a great mood to night! Don’t know why... I hope everyone’s day was great also.
I didn’t actually get anything accomplished today, though. I made plans to meet a friend from High school today, which I haven’t seen in a year, then I was supposed to go to a meeting with someone, then go out for dinner with them. In between that I was supposed to find a professor at school and talk to them. Well, my high school friend couldn’t make it and the other person had a bad headache, so there went everything today! And the prof wasn’t there. *Sigh* Talk about a busy day that turned out to be a bum day instead. Oh, well. Considering nothing worked out, I don’t know why I’m so cheery. I did REALLY wasn’t to see my high school friend. But that’s life as they say.

I'm sorry I haven't posted to anyone's site today. It has been a busy day! NightBeck, Nikki, and Red tigress it was fun posting back and forth yesterday! I love you guys! I will try to catch up on everyone tomorrow. I'll leave everyone with a random question, though!
