What Does This Have to Do With the Price of Eggs?
Mood: Pretty solemn-like.
Currently Playing: |Monster Rancher 4| - |Pokemon FireRed| - |(no GCN games at the moment)|
Well, my mom finally solved the log-in problems I had since I last updated. Can't recall what exactly she did, but it dealt with cookies. :-P
Anywho, my best friend came to town Friday, and me and Dad went to pick him up around 2:30-ish. We hung out and played games and stuff. We went to one of our friend's houses because he was going to lend out a volume of Chobits in exchange for Bloodrayne II.
He stayed until about nine in the evening, and another one of our friends picked him up. He's still around, just visiting other people, particularly in the rural areas because 75% of our friends live out there, lol.
I felt empty and sad when he left. I'm horrible at good-byes, and I was unusually quiet and mumbly when he was saying good-bye to me. ;_; I just knew his girlfriend was gonna get the majority of him...and stuff...
...*sighs* Am I being too selfish..? Dammit...I wish I could see him again--despite the fact that he stayed for like, practically half a day, I still feel like there's so much left undone and unsaid.
Which reminds me...we did more gaming and hanging out with me and my family than talking, because it's known that it's better than phone and IM. Not saying that we were wasting time, but...
Ugh.
Just one of these days...the two of us can just simply spend time together one-on-one, talking, walking, just me and him. <:-(
I've been thinking more and more about what the past year has given me as it's coming to a close.
It brought me distance, emotional agony, resentment, confusion, new friends, a personal drastic change of demeanor...it just makes me realize...that my life has just started, and this's nothing compared to tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, the next decade...
...and clear up until me and all my friends, cousins, and siblings are old, and our experiences will be repeated by the generations after our own, and our parents and grandparents have passed away of old age, and most of our relatives...
I don't know what next year will bring me and Jon, and my family.
I'm scared, but I'm also excited.
I'll be 20 next summer, no longer a teenager. It's--kind of a sad thought...like the feeling you get when you're leaving your parents' warm, toasty house and into your cold empty apartment (to make a generalization).
I think I'm just thinking too much right now...so...
...Anyways, today my gramma and stepgrampa visited to attend a friend's surprise birthday party in town, and dropped in so say hi. After the party they came back for dinner. They're still here as I type, but they'll be leaving in a few.
Mom, Dad, and the grandparents are on the couch watching episodes of The Carol Burnette Show. Heh, I love that show a lot. Pretty funny stuff. :-D
Ok, well, since Winamp's finished downloading, I need to close out all these programs to run a scan on it, so I'll have to end my entry here. :-D
Well, g'night people! Thank you for enduring my boring entry. X3
And Now Erica Presents You the "Pic of the Night."
Yeah, I Guess He Does Resemble a Monkey. -_o

And My Gramma Eats Dingbats For Lunch.
Mood: Grinny-like and somewhat affectionate.
Currently Playing: |Animal Crossing| - |Dark Cloud| - |Pokemon Sapphire|
Well, I stayed up a great deal of last night with Des, just because I couldn't sleep and was glad I had someone to talk to. :-3 I need to ask him how I can make my own myO border...I'd really like a riceball border, lol. Mar...HTML isho confuzzling. x.x;
He gave me an idea, due to his magical, omnipresent powers, on what I should use myO for other than a blog, since I'm somewhat bad with blogs. He also showed me DailyOtaku, which is aweshone btw, lol!!
"Super Nad Kick 9000!"
"Booyah!"
Anywho, my day was rather painful. Thing is, my right big toe's joint is inflamed. ;_; I have no clue as to how it happened. But, gramma insisted on cherry consumption, because cherries contain a sort of enzyme that helps heal/rid the inflammation.
Which means...yup. I was made to eat half a can of cherry pie filling, since we don't have anything else containing cherries, and who would've guessed that I hated cherries?! Haha!! Ugh....
...So yeah, I made myself stop at about 2/3 of a pound of cherry pie filling because I had guessed my facial muscles would become permenantly cramped due to the excessive tanginess. o_0
Ugh--I have a hard time walking due to the gout (sp?) in my toe; I have to hobble about like an old lady. 0.X; Hurts like a bitch when walked on. Feels like someone stuck my big toe in a wrench and squeezed the hell out of it. ;__;
God forbid I stub it. X_X;;;
Well, I'm going to go head out, lol. Thanks for visiting, and sweet dreams. ^_^ *nuzzles*
And Now Erica Presents You the "Pic of the Night."
As they say, a picture's worth 1,000 words. *suddenly thinks of FFX-2's theme song* 0___-;

Is it Just Me? o_o; And Thanksgiving, too. ~.~;
Mood Uhm...*scratches head and blushes furiously*
Is it just me or do the people that I show my picture to think I'm cute, or more? I mean, I can tell they're being sincere, but ish embarrashing! #V_V#
Don't you find it odd that people don't generally think they're attracive or anything? I know I am a little I guess, but only to a certain...small...degree.
Oh, bah...my words are confuzzling, aren't they? X-/ To be honest, I feel quite unattractive a great deal of the time. I'm not being modest or anything, I just--don't feel as attractive as people say. o.0;
And I feel about as charming as a barbarian most of the time...
Well anyways, my Thanksgiving left me feeling like I'm pregant with triplets or something. We went to Portland, picked by brother up (he's in college), then headed on over to my grandparent's (dad's side) in Tigard (a Portland suburb).
All I had for breakfast was half a waterbottle of fruit juice, since people were hogging the bathroom, and while I was waiting my sister April helped fix my hair up. But then again, I woke up an hour before we were gonna leave, lol.
Anyways, I had fun with my gaggle of teenage cousins and uncles/aunts. My dad has three brothers, but only two came this time. ;___;
Anywho, we all arrived around noon, ate at about 2, then went home around 5:30, just after the full moon rose.
Gosh...I've never seen the Columbia Gorge under a full moon!! o_O; Twas awesome saucem!! And so gorgeous, too...romantic, actually. I'd've been able to see the best of it, but cars on the opposite highway drove me nuts because of their bloody headlights!! and the annoying pine trees. X-/
Heheh...I so wish it would snow...we most likely won't get any snow until late December. ;_;

Hullo again, everyone! Ready to sit through another myO entry? Whoohoo! We all are! Yayah!!
Last night I made oatmeal scots (oatmeal cookies with butterscotch chips), but they turned out like crap: I forgot to use baking soda instead of baking powder.
As a result, the kitchen smoked (mingling with the smoke from the fireplace), causing the smoke alarm to go off. My mom and sister flipped out and mom shouted, "Hurry April get something!" to fan the smoke from the alarm.
Translation: "April, go get something to wave the smoke away!"
What exactly did April randomly grab from amongst the chaos? A box of popcorn off the microwave. ~__~;; And yes, she started waving at the smoke with it.
Anywho, on to what happened on my typically uneventful Sunday. Dad bought donuts for breakfast. Whoo. So, I had one, glass of milk...lunch came around...had a second one...a couple more later on...then swept and mopped the kitchen, helped April bag leaves in 27-degree weather with no gloves for half an hour.
Basically, my day was pretty boring, and well, today's diet consisted of too much sugar, lol. I have no idea what came over me. I guess I was in a "Gah, I don't care" mood, lol. Those days have been becoming less and less frequent recently, luckily. ^__^
Gah...I bet my waist went from 27" to 30" @___@ It sure as hell feels like it. <_<;

One thing leads to another...@.@;
Well, today went by unexpectedly, in an odd yet interesting way. The place I wanted to work at required food-handling experience, so I have to take some classes on that, and after the courses are passed, I get a card as proof...I guess sorta like a license, lol.
Makes sense, since the shop was a local food/import food place, which also had a small, but nice bakery.
And I need to know how to make espresso. Another basic requirement. I never made it, but people say it's easy. Mom could teach me but MECK! We don't have any of those machine-things! T.T Poo!
Oh, well. Anywho, I went to the health department to ask about classes...turns out they won't really start them(or whatever) 'til next month, but the lady at the front desk gave me a number to call Wednesday.
Bah. Oh, well. Skills are skills, lol. ^___^ So for now my priority is to find a way to take these classes. Mostly for the future--I want to go to a baking school someday, but my major career goal is art, or anything in relation. :-D
Now, lately I've been, uhm, "obessesed"with a certain singer. The crazy Erica you know now has a new victim to drool over. Who is this new victim? Why, tis none other than...
Mahahahahaaaa!!! Ish Gackt, meehee!! GOTT...I can't listen to his voice because the sound on our computer's all f***ed up. Oh, woe... The other night a friend of mine showed me his picture over MSN, and I was instantly smitten. <|^))~~
So yeah. That concludes my post. G'night everyone! *nuzzles*

*ish hugged* *squeaks* X3
I've been acting strange lately. Strange as in excessively affectionate, bubbly, "innocent-y" (the honest, candid type), and just generally girlish. <:) All almost opposite of how I usually act, except for the bubbly part.
Aside from my random spats of sheer anger and irritation, I've been feeling all these things. I dunno what triggered it all. <.<#
I just want to curl up next to someone and purr my head off, that is, if I could do that, which is unfortunate. *shakes fist at God* If not purr, at least burrow into their arms, feeling happy and secure like some baby. <:/
No, I'm not on some affectionate high that originates from a random crush on somebody. It just--happened. I think it has something to do with the poem I submitted on DA. Maybe I should write more. <:3
I think it was also the Preview image I used as a part of the submission. It was a beautiful, high-quality screenshot of Ryouko crying (from the Tenchi series). When I first saw that image, a felt a sharp pang of empathy, and felt a few tears coming...
...not because the screenshot captured the essence of how I was feeling at the moment, but I can relate to Ryouko in almost every way, and she rarely cries, and when she does, it's a vivid, dramatic moment, in an almost subtle and sweet way. <:(
'Captures her true feelings and the honest and innocent side of her.
I dunno. Ever since that time last night, when I submitted the poem, I've been feeling good inside, to the core, and almost to the point of tears.
I have these deep feelings for my best friend, who already has a girlfriend, and I put my true, raw feelings, tainted by nothing but innocence, into that poem. I meant no malice, it didn't hint anything that suggested he come back to me, but just that bond we share. Plain and simple. Like Mako energy/Materia in its raw state of origin. X-)
I say this albeit I'm a good writer, I rarely do any poetry. Like a rare gem, lol.
I dunno...it's been an odd experience. I don't know what it is... <:(
Maybe it's because I'm finally exposing a side of myself I've been trying to figure out and hiding, or covering up. My mixed feelings for him seemed all tangled, good and bad.
But when I wrote that poem, open and candid, all I could do was shut out the outside concerns and feelings, and strip it down to the bond we've always exclusively shared.
I don't know what to say about that now. I guess it's because I've never, ever really been the romantic type, quite opposite really, and I'm finally taking baby steps into that world. I don't know what caused it, but it's happening...<:-/
And as I speak I'm even thinking of laying out another poem, hoping its form will stir something in me long absent.

Bamboozle...-_o;
Our oldest cat, Whiskers, at age 18, vanished. She's an outdoor cat, BUT, since she's so old, and is usually in pain, doesn't get around much, and can't really "get lost", we're guessing she finally crawled off somewhere and shut herself down. T_T
The last time anyone's seen her was Tuesday night.
I put cat food in her dish yesterday afternoon. Although no one's seen her since, I knew she ate some because there was a small crater in her food/food was pushed around in her dish. It's elevated so no dog got it, lol.
We've looked everywhere and couldn't find her...
..She's still gone...
My sister said she was gonna go door-to-door with a picture but she's obviously not doing it...seeing her wandering around the house with no useful purpose.
She expects me to do it when I already looked for her last night.
Whadda f***ing snot.

The Mother of All Surveys! O.O
This particular one is for artists. :3
1] What is your pen name?
Uhm...I dunno, lol. Dark Serena?
2] How did you get the name?
My...brain? Haha, I kid. I got the name from Sailor Moon (the U.S. versions, but she's originally called Usagi), and just used "Dark" just because, well...it just stuck. XD And I HATE using numbers in any kind of name.
3] Do you use PC or Mac?
PC.
4] What software you use most often?
I don't have much, yet. MSN, Wordpad, and if I had it, Photoshop, lol.
5] Do you use mouse, or tablet?
Mouse, but I kinda lose my patience with it. X3 A tablet would be noiyce.
6] The color you use most often is?
Black. No, wait, grey, cause I use pencils a lot?? Actually, in truth, I have a fondess for moonlight colors and reflections when I draw/see pics on black/dark backgrounds.
7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into?
Peoplewise, their heads. But I guess that explains why it's one of the best things I can draw. But overall, the inking. I make sure to have my correction pen nearby.
8] How long does it take you do draw a picture?
Depends on how much detail and effort I put into it. When I color something, it ranges from one hour, to three, but I get excellent results. I'm quite the perfectionist. When I sketch with pens/pencils (cartooning), just a matter of seconds.
9] Do you keep your rough drafts?
Hell yeah! Usually it's the roughs I love to look at--ahhh, the simplicity of sketching and doodling.
10] What kind of font do you use most often?
Font...? Uhm, I dunno. "Modern" is a favorite.
11] What's the dpi when you scan?
No USB cable = no scanner. The downside of yard sales.
12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures?
Well, I can juggle, play Mega Man, feed the cat, eat a cookie, mow the lawn...Seriously, I'm pretty talented. No, really, I am.
13] How many pictures do you draw in a month?
Honestly. But I wouldn't expect anything more from a 100-question survey. I can't quite put it monthly, but my weekly average for inked pictures would be 3-5. Full-colored, about 1, not even that sometimes, lol. Sketches and unfinished crap, about 7+.
14] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
I'm open-minded with paper, since one kind can be bad with Sharpies and colored pencils, while another allows smooth transition.
16] How long does it take to ink something?
An hour tops, regardless of detail involved.
17] Do you do doujinshi or original manga?
Well, manga's a pain, and I have no clue what doujinshi is, so I guess neither. I love drawing comics, but I can only do unfinished, drawn-on-impulse ones. I can never really finish a GOOD comic. How I do comics, it's basically just guesswork. No particular style...I just go at it.
18] Do you like doujinshi? Is it fun making it?
I DUNNO WHAT DOUJINSHI IS!
19] Ever submitted anything to a magazine?
Yup.
20] Did it get published?
OH, yeah! *whispers* (Pages 10-11, front center, Volume 168 of Nintendo Power.)
21] Who are your favorite artists?
Sunaho Tobe, Yoshjitaka Amano, and Akira Toriyama (for his work in the Dragon Quest series)
22] What's your favourite Anime/Manga?
Anime = NARUTO, Excel Saga, DBZ, Dual!, Pokemon, Furi Kuri, Tenchi Universe, Sailor Moon, Gundam 008th MS Team, Armitage, .hack, Cowboy Bebop, Pilote Candidate, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Kare Kano, and Betterman.
Manga = I can't tear myself away from Kare Kano and Yu-Gi-Oh!
23] Favourite Character?
Mmmmm...Haruko, Nabeshin (YEZZZ!), Hamtaro (GHEEEE! X3), Piccolo, Kid Buu, Kakashi, Naruto, Yolei, and Sailor Jupiter. X3
24] Any artists that you'd like to draw like?
I have favorite kind of style, and that is the simplistic, lighthearted, and charming Sunaho Tobe!! Anime-wise, yes, once I go professional, I'd like to have a smiliar artistic theme to hers, because that is what I've always sought. Just because I admire another, doesn't mean I'm not creative in my own right.
25] Do you buy books a lot?
No, but I check them out at the library.
26] Did you ever buy a book to inspire you to draw?
No, lol. But almost anything can inspire me.
27] Any video games you enjoy?
You know, that question is a death sentence....
...Final Fantasy Origins/Chronicles, FF VII and IX, Pokemon series, Harvest Moon series, Dark Cloud series, Mario series (minus the golfing ones, lol), The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Windwaker/A Link to the Past/Four Swords Adventures, Metroid series, Sonic Adventure/Heroes, Golden Sun series, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO, 2D fighters, Quake 1 and II, Duke Nuken 3D, Heretic, Hexen, FF Tactics Advance, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night/Aria of Sorrow (Soma is YUMMEH), SSX Tricky, Road Rash 64, Yoshi's Island, Chrono Trigger, the Mana series, the Lufia series, Dragon Quest IV and VII, Soulblazer series, Mega Man X series (freaking hard, but fun), Animal Crossing, Mega Man Legends, Lunar series, Faceball, Adventure (for the Atari), SimCity, SimAnt, the Tales series (OH yeah), Pokemon Stadium II, Little Nemo's Dreamland, Dr. Mario, Tetrisphere, Shadowgate 64, Quest 64, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Donkey Kong Country series...uhm...Kirby Superstar...just to name a few.
28] Any favourite characters from video games?
RIKKU AND SONIC!
29] Do you have a favourite writer?
Well, I've always liked R.L. Stine. His Goosebumps books bring back so many childhood memories. I also like J.K Rowling. My Profile just includes authors who've made some memorable books that I like the most.
30] Any books you really enjoy?
"The War of the Roses", Goosebumps series, The Death Gate series, "Misery", "Cujo", and tales from the days of King Arthur.
31] Do you write fanfics?
Nah.
32] Any music that you often listen to while drawing?
Classical music. Actually, I don't care what I have on, lol, but it does influence my drawing. Whenever I draw Tizzy I love to put on Weezer or The Pixies.
33] Any recommended songs?
Uhm...I dunno, lol. "Son of X-51" and "They Know Who You Are" by Powerman. "Toy Box" from ICP is perdy sweet, too. I think it's a funny song.
34] Any websites that you totally admire?
Admire...?? Ohhh, I love planet-megaman.com
35] Do you have any sites you go to everyday?
DA, and my e-mail, lol. I occasionally go onto Otakuboards...that place is like a second home.
36] What is your dream site like?
Guh...huh? Dumb question. I have no clue.
37] Do you like your own art?
YESH!!! Well, 90% of the time.
38] What do you enjoy watching on TV?
Eh, reality and comedy shows. People are so overdramatic.
39] Favourite celebrity?
Sandra Bullock, Chris Rock, Jackie Chan, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, DREW Carrey (I may have spelled either or both of those wrong, lol), and Will Smith.
40] Favourite color?
Green, black, and blue...
41] Favourite food?
Chicken sammiches, spaghetti, pasta salad, bread, spinach, garlic chicken pizza, GARLIC, chicken chow mein, ramen, carrot cake, chocolate zucchini bread, steak, deer, buffalo, BBQ chicken, FISH!!! OOOOOH, I love fish... T_T Can't forget the tradtional beans 'n cornbread...
42] Favourite drink
Whole milk, chocolate soy milk, Cherry Vanilla Creme Hansen's, and SoBe (LizzBlizz, Lava, Tsunami, and Dragonfruit), Mike's Hard Lemonade. :D
43] Any places you like to shop at?
Fred Meyer's (they have a wicked selection of games ), SamGoody, Goodwill, and most hobby shops. If I had my way I'd most likely spend about a week in a book store.
44] Can you cook?
I'm learning the basics, but I ain't no culinary apprentice. I can easily make spaghetti and fried fish as good as my mom. However, I've recently taken a liking to baking.
45] Any programs you use often for email? Any electronic pets?
Huh??? Well, I do miss that giga pet Panda bear I bought in Canada for a toonie. I swear, that was the best giga pet ever. I miss Bobo...
46] Are you a computer expert?
No, and I don't care, either.
47] Want to become a professional artist?
Uhm...that's like reading my videogame list and asking if I like playing videogames.
48] Any other jobs you're interested in, besides a professional artist?
Character design, storyboarder, conceptual artist, animator (at least I'd love to try my hand at it), editor, penciller, author...WAIT, no, scratch the artistic-related subjects. Gah...lol. Naw, I guess not.
49] Any other specialities besides drawing?
Creative writing, editing, decent observation, decent photographic memory, wise in general (and no, I'm not self-proclaimed), and if it IS a specialty...I enjoy doing things for other people.
50] Do you like to watch movies?
Yup.
51] What's your favourite movies?
Mostly action/comedy/animated. Armitage the Third: Polymatrix, Terminator III, Ace Ventura, LiarLiar, Little Nicky, Billy Madison, Spirited Away, Monsters Inc., Godzilla, Enemy Lines, Aliens, Predator, Forrest Gump, Titan AE, Treasure Planet, The Land Before Time, The Lion King, Mulan, Sailor Moon R, The Last Samurai, Van Helsing, The Ring, Scary Movie III, and STAR WARS! To be specific, Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
52] Have you ever entered art contests?
Yup. My DBZ collage won second place in Mixed Media.
53] When did you start drawing seriously?
15 years old, my sophomore year.
54] Anything that you often use as a reference when you draw?
I'd really like to have one of those posing doll-things. Basically, my surroundings and the things I see in pictures. Ideas, usually.
55] Have you met any of your fans online?
Have I met an online fan? Uh...no...nor do I care. There's a difference between a potential pupil and a lackey.
56] You have a lot of pen pals?
Nope. I have one, and we're like bread 'n butter. She lives in Singapore. I love talking to her.
57] You have a lot of friends that draw?
Mmhm...birds of a feather.
58] What time do you usually go online?
Whenever I feel like it.
59] Do you like to go to chat rooms?
I know a good quote to answer that question, but I forgot the exact words, lol. I don't, unless it's the chatroom OB members use.
60] Do you have your own computer?
Nope.
61] What would you say to the person you admire?
I would indirectly admit it, all the while feeling stupid.
62] Do you think of things when you draw?
Other than the obvious, too much. I usually brood when I think too much.
63] Have you drawn badly because you think too much?
YES! I get frusterated and stop. Other reasons that cause me to draw shamefully include a lack of inspiration, lack of concentration (well, when I do my serious work), and a sudden rise of frusteration.
64] Do you have any friends who are professionals?
Nopity-nope.
65] Where do you often hang out?
Lol, the living room. I like being around my dad, and he hangs out in here a lot, too.
66] Do you have any artists that you don't like too much?
Not really. I'm pretty casual about it. Not really a big deal to me.
67] Situations in which you really don't like being online?
What kinda question is THAT? Basically, if somone contacts me and I can never escape them, lol. But that's never really happened to me, because I like talking to my friends. But I do keep the IM windows to a maximum of 4.
68] Situations in which you hate when it comes to having websites?
I screw up on HTML, so I give up.
69] Something that makes you really glad that the internet exists?
Being able to talk to people without worrying about eye contact. I'm bad with that. ;_; Mostly, my art gains publicity.
70] What about things that make you NOT glad that the internet exists?
SPAM!! Constant netspeak!!!! GAAH!!!! Illiteracy!! God save me!!!
71]What's the first picture you've ever shown to the public online?
"Tizzy: My 12 Yr. Old Brainchild" (in my Gallery).
72] Do you still have that?
Er, YEAH? She's TIZZY!!!
73] Has your drawing style changed a lot?
Most definitely!!
74] How does it usually change?
When I find a new style in addition to my own, or decide to do something other than what I normally do. Well, for example, I've always loved drawing in anime style (mostly for their expressions, lol, and it's just plain fun), but I also love drawing goofy animals and monsters. Also, environments. The most challenging, but helps a lot in my drawings.
75] Have you experienced artists block before?
Hmm. Lemme see. Most of the time I run on "Inspiration Batteries". So, no, not really. However, I experience an unhealthy amount of writer's block. I can tie that in with "dropping" a comic that I was drawing.
76] How did you escape from it?
I kick my creativity in the nuts and find optional scenarios/possiblities--I eventually come up with something. TV, games, or movies help greatly.
77] What happens when you have artists block?
Just read the above two answers.
78] Any artists that have influenced you a lot?
Simplistic details...like Akira Toriyama, and Lady Tobe. *I keep forgretting her first name* X3
79] What made you start drawing?
The possibilites.
80] What made you want to get a website?
Eh, I don't got one, although I MAY start one one of these days.
81] Where did your site name come from?
82] What do you think about net manners?
Uhm...meh? To me, manners are the same no matter where you're at. What do I think of them? Uh...
83] Have you ever been spammed?
Oddly, no.
84] Ever thought about quitting your webpage?
FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT'S GOOD, I DON'T GOT ONE, GARSH-DONGIT!!!! *pants*
85] If so, why?
86] About how much KB is each picture?
87] When creating your site, do you use a program or pure html?
O_<;
88] Do you have good eyesite?
Poor speller. I have glasses, so no, not naturally. I do now, though!!
89] If you can get any person's autograph, who's would you get?
NABUO UEMATSU!!!!! GAAAAAAH!!!
90] What would you say to that artist when he/she autographs for you?
*falls to her knees and bows her head to the floor, clutching autograph*
91] Do you have fans of your art?
I wouldn't call them FANS, but I have admirers...I've lost track, actually. No, they're not lackeys.
92] Do you like to draw on oekaki bbs?
93] Are you good at art in school?
Oh, yesh. I could get by with A's and B's and not even take the Final.
94] Did you take art lessons other than from school?
Uhm, no. Well, yes, if you include being self-taught.
95] Have you drawn a manga?
Neh...
96] What's your favourite phrase/quote?
"An intellect is a man that takes more words than necessary to tell more than he knows."
I think one of the older Presidents said that.
97] Do you think your personality is different externally and internally?
Yeah...neither are false, though. My inner self is affectionately fierce, more brooding, more thoughtful, idealistic somewhat (well, imagine that, lol). My external self is bubbly, laughing, goofy, aggressive, half sunny/half brooding...affectionate but just in a huggy way, lol.
98] What's your goal now?
Don't sweat the small stuff.
99] What do you have to say to yourself?
Erica'sh a bad girl.
100] Lastly, what do you have to say to everyone?
If you decide to take on the 100-Question Survey, GOOD LUCK! @.@;
*falls across a random person's lap*

OMG!! I updated again!!! :o
WOW! A record!!!! I updated within...three hours!!! Well, it's nearly 1 in the morning, so it makes sense, ne? X3
Lemme seeeee...*rubs chin* Since the day hasn't started yet, there's nothing to put. Wait, no, I can still put things, it's just not about, y'know, THE DAY THAT HASN'T HAPPENED!!! O.o
So, while my eye is itching like crazy and won't STOP, I'll ramble on about a few things that might entertain you for [depends on how fast you can read].
Anyways, no one I know is online right now, so I have no one to talk to except, well, future viewers, lol.
ERICA'S TOP 10 REASONS ABOUT WHY YOU SHOULD OWN A GAMECUBE!
#10: It looks cool, and it doesn't quite matter how you stand it up.
#09: They come in a variety of flavors (ok, colors ~_~).
#08: Controllers are comfy as all hell, and just simply rock.
#07: The colorful variety of games is about as tempting and time-consuming as the video game display at Fred Meyer's.
#06: If you love GBA SP AND GCN (curses if you don't, gott-dangitall, lol), you can make use of the features linking possesses, thus getting the most out of both the games you like.
#05: Skies of Arcadia Legends.
#04: Tales of Symphonia.
#03: The nice-sized discs--I just find them easy to take care of, and simply...simple. :3
#02: The Game Boy Player. Honestly, if you're not into linking and handhelds, save about 50 bucks and buy one of these, lol. This mutha owns. >:3
#01: METROID PRIME!!!!!
Alright. IN conclusion, get one, lol. Chrissakes, quit using "It sucks" as a lame excuse--they're 100 bucks!! XD
Well, time for Erica to go to bed. *falls asleep before she even gets out of the chair*

Fnehburgers!!
I dunno what that means.
Well, I deleted my old AC (Animal Crossing) town and started up a new one. Before, I was collecting fish and bugs by messing with the game's clock, and now I've just decided to start all over and do it the normal way, which is what like to do in general (but yeah, I can get carried away sometimes, lol). Same name and character, but different peeps and different layout (so it pretty much had always been Erica living in Shig Bay--weird name, but then again, it's me doing the naming). I got the circle grass pattern, which is my fave pattern, lol.
I swear, the terrain for my town's layout is crazy! The river is oddly long and very winding, and there's a crooked, crazy plateau that I constantly get lost on while searching for a ledge down.
After settling in, I decided to head over to Wailuku, my sis's town on the next memory card, to nab a wider variety of items in Nook's Dept. Store, and dig up more gyroids to sell. There were a lot more neighbors there, too, so that opened up more opportunities for favors and errands to run.
When I got back (and I absolutely HATE Rover--he holds up my transfer every fricking time, and I get tired of drawing Blanca's fat face whenever I see her), one of my neighbors moved to Wailuku, which kinda made me mad cause I liked the guy, and it was the FIRST DAY, lol.
I forgot to save my goggle pattern (for clothing) at my sis's Tailor Shop, so I'll have to do it again.
Well, a lady from the Art Institute of Portland called me today for an interview with me and Mom over the phone. *Head is still slightly boggled from all the discussion* x_o;
The thing I'm most concerned about is the tuition and costs. And I'm kinda pressured about the required classes--history (well, like History of Art, Graphic Design, etc.), math, and science. GAH, dammit all--my worst subjects--woondeeeeful.
Blah. I'm too lazy to elaborate right now, lol. Concept art, storyboarding, and character design are my strongest artistic strengths. Second to those is MAYBE graphic design (if I had my way, I'd spend a LOT of time in Photoshop LOL), animation (traditional or computer--whichever suits me), and writing.
Anyways, with that temporarily aside, I picked up Tales of Destiny II last night. I LOVE THAT GAME!! Good God, I've never quite played a game that comes so close to summing up ALL of my RPG preferences--the graphics are to die for, absolutely what I've always sought, and will continue to seek, and the music is so magical, that I can't even go into details, but then again, details generally annoy me. :-P
AND, one of my favorite parts about it are the cutscenes--they're so awesomely integrated into the game, unlike ToS. *GROWLS* I love watching them so much, lol. If only Farah didn't have such HUGE EYES! o.O;;
BUT, the battles piss me off too much. I'm trying to level up around the tree village (starts with an 'M'), but one battle pits me against like, 5 Killer Bees and 2 bigass caterpillars, and another battle, about 5 (baby?) Egg Bears and 2 HUGE werewolf things. I leave ONE battle with one or more characters almost depleted of its HP and TP, even dead sometimes. I have my strategies and formations set up jes' fine, but I mean, C'MON here! WTF's going on?? I never quite had as much trouble in ToP and ToS as I have been in THIS game!! >_<+ And I have the AI's TP usage set on '2'. There's no other place I can go to to get better equipment, period. And I'm on my way to fight that God-forsaken water-b**** Undine. She's HAUNTS ME!
OHOHOH!! Speaking of the Tales series, I entered Namco's contest on their official site a while back (I think in August/September), to win a set of three collectible Tales of Symphonia cards, and I WON! GAAAAAAH!! YESH!!! YESHYESHYESH!!! I got the e-mail on the 20th comfirming such (and trust me, I completely forgot about the contest, LOL), and it'll be about 2 weeks max from that point until they process and ship it. They'll e-mail me once the cards've been shipped.
Good God! I've never won a contest before!! Whoo!!! ^o^
But more importantly, I get the cards!! Hahaha! Yeah, I'm a total geek, but who cares?! I won!!!
