Marvin Harcus
It is with profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Marvin Harcus. Marvin passed away with his family at his side, at the Children's Ward of the Health Sciences Centre on November 1, 2006. Marvin will be lovingly remembered and terribly missed by his parents, Sara and Ryan Harcus; his brothers, Carlos, Matthew and Tanner; grandparents, Shirley and David Harcus and Rosario and Carlos Gochez and also his PaPa Marvin Zepeda and his son Jason Zepeda. Marvin will also be sadly missed by all his cousins, aunts and uncles and his school friends. Marvin was a very special young man. He had a quiet passionate presence and a broad smile that made everyone his friend. He was the big brother to Carlos, Matthew and Tanner and always had time to hug, play and wrestle with his little brothers. Marvin was the sunshine in his mother's eye, and they were close beyond words. Marvin had begun to excel in sports the past two years and he was very proud of his accomplishments. He played basketball, participated in track and played football. It was his love of football that gave him the greatest joy. The highlight for Marvin was playing for the Nomads under the lights in the Blue Bombers Stadium this past Sunday. His Dad was his biggest fan and was so very proud of him. He enjoyed his time spent on the farm and the family fishing trips. His quiet but happy demeanour was infectious to all those around him. Although words cannot express the loss the family feels, we were all blessed to have been a part of the life of this very special young man. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Stonewall.
~ This young man was my little cousin Marvin Harcus(Zepeda) he was only 14 yrs old and he passed away this passed Wednesday the first of Nov. at 1:45pm in a hospital bed in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. I rushed to Canada when I heard the news and I couldnt believe that I was on the way to the funeral of my little cousin, The boy I thought as my own little brother was dead and gone forever. I was on my way home with my cousin Raina(Fathers side through marriage) and had plans to meet up with the gang and get revege on them for stealing her candy. When as soon as I walked through the door my mother called my into the dinning room and sat me down. She told everything how he had been in the hospital and how everyone was on their way to the funeral. He died at 1:45pm I broke down in tears imediatly after, but I had no time to fully let it all out at that time I had to get packed right away. The Funeral was on the fourth and it was so hard to see him laying there cold and motionless I just wanted to grab him and hold him in my arms and cry but, but I couldnt all I could do was carry his cascette to his grave with my momma, my three uncles, my big cousin Mugan and two other guys I didnt Know(aunts divorced so her knew in-law choices)rigth after we put the cascette in the herse Mugan, my uncle and I huddled together and started to cry. It was so hard to do what we did, but it was a great honor for me to do what I did.All I can do is wish him a good rest in the after lifeand may god portect is innocent soul, but I will still miss him so very much. Good Bye My little gatito may you Rest_In_Peace and I will always love you no matter..what....
