my half term was really boring. Im not even going to tell you how crap it was. Even the party was dull. That place was deader than heaven on a saturday night. pff.

Size referencing. From right to left, 1/60 scale Strike Gundam and 1/60 scale pilot, 1/100 scale Alex Gundam with Chobam Armour and 1/100 scale pilot, and 1/144 scale Strike Gundam with no pilot cuz it would be tiny at that scale.

so rah. ^^ ah luv these models. well, not the 1/144 scale one, but that was there just for size reference...

I also did some art at the weekend. Its on my D.A account (link up top). i dont know if Ill get to do me Chibi Darke stuff anytime soon. I might uninstall a couple of games from the PC to free up some hard disk. i have had some good ideas for it. ^^

Today Im doing a special project, of which you will hopefully see the results of tomorrow. Its all hush hush at the mo. ^^ shh.

seriously tho, I got my mum to give me a hair cut. Im making a statement against the school. They say we cant have our hair too long or too short, so I cut it really short. they probably wont do anything...

im kinda vaguely regretting it tho. Its freezing cold here, and I can feel it on my head. 0.o;

rah. t3h briefness of it all....
hi y'all. just a quick update on my life, tho I cant be long cuz Im using a computer in an internet cafe type place, so im limited in time.
My Gundams came yesterday (HUZZAH!) and im really pleased with them. Piccies soon.

My stories are coming along painfully slowly. I have stuff that I might be able to post, but it depends if I get any further on them.

I have tonnes of stuff that I have to do for school before I go back, so lah de dah. >.< *sigh*

There's also gonna be a party tomorrow night at cadets. its gonna be really lame, but i might go anyway.

my manga i was going to do...doesnt look like its gonna happen soon. too busy...

scanner still down. poo.

Almost bought materials today so I could make up plushies of characters from my Chibi Darke Days strip, but i know jack about making plushies to i didnt bother.

cant wait to catch up with you all soon. have a great next half week or so and Ill see ya on monday.

Hi everyone.
Shortish post today. I was gonna do a long one, but i havent the time.

I ordered 1/60 Strike Gundam with Strike Weapons Pack and 1/100 MG Alex Gundam last night. I cant wait for them to get here!!

Also last night a fellow Sergeant of mine got a Valentine from a female cadet he doesnt really like (none of us do in fact). the long and the short of the message was that she wants to get in his pants. ^^ we were laughing our heads off, but he looked pretty sick actually.

Im not going to be on much (if at all) next week, as its half term. so no school (yay) and no MyO (poo)
im going to use the time to work on a "Stacked Deck" manga and maybe get my stories on a bit. I also might go and see "Team America" @ the cinema. ^^

thats enuff from me today. Ill try to visit your sites, if I get the time.

   *sings* Im a dreamer...
first off, here is the strip I meant to post yesterday, but couldnt due to resource problems (i.e I couldn't find the disk which I had saved it on)



and thats it folks. No more Chibi Darke Days until I can get a scanner attached to my laptop or my compy at home gets more memory or something. I might do a random pic of the day, now that I got a digi camera...

and so thursday rolls around again...bored...

i learnt something interesting this morning, which made me wonder why I hadn't thought of it before.

I was born in 1987, and according to Chinese Zodiac, that means I was born in the year of the rabbit. However, I was born in January of 1987, and the Chinese New Year doesnt start till February, so TECHNICALLY i was born in the previous Chinese Year, which makes me a Tiger. cool. ^^

I had a WEIRD dream last night.
I dreamt that I was at my school and it was night and I was with, I kid you not, the Sailor Scouts from Sailor Moon. I've never even WATCHED Sailor moon. ne way, something was up at the school and we (the SS and I) were tasked to investigate. so they all powered up to Sailor Scout form or whatever and told me to do the same. Im like "WTF?" and then...
and heres where i really think my mind is fucked up...I

...transformed into...a Sailor Scout...with boobs and everything...god Im embarrased

and then we went and investigated the school. I found in the Performing Arts studio my mates with a pirate radio station and they're all like "Phil? WTF?" I reply "gimmee that bottle of beer and ill change back" so I drink the beer and change back to normal. (heh. PH34R T3H P0W3R OF B33R) Then the other Scouts burst in and release their secret attacks or whatever and blow up the studio.
and then I woke up...very disturbed. 0.0;;;

so yeah. Im kinda worried now. and annoyed. If it had to be an anime dream, why one that involves an anime I dont even watch?!! I mean, why not Evangelion or Gundam or Cowboy Bebop or even Love Hina or Azumanga Daioh? why some old anime thats like the female equivalent of DBZ? (sorry to anyone who takes offense to that remark)

*shudders* Im going to be staying awake at night from now on...

Hey everyone.


Happy Chinese new year! And happy pancake day yesterday for those who do pancake day!!!

I have a lil announcement…Chibi Darke Days has to be put on hiatus for now. Its not cuz I have no ideas or anything. Its just that my computer has gone to pot, and I cant scan anymore. Or rather, I CAN scan, I just cant save cuz my computer is old and crappy and my cheap 455 parents wont splash out on a new one or on more memory or even take the time to do a friggin de-fragmentation of the current drive. So you will have todays strip and that’s it for now. I could take a photo of the strip and post that up, but its not as good quality.
Of course, I tried plugging the scanner into my laptop, but I “need software to operate this hardware”, and we cant find the disc with the software on it. We have a feeling it came pre-installed on the PC. My dad asked me whether I needed the thing I was trying to scan, and I said no, it was just something I wanted to do, and he got into a hissy fit and we started to argue. He was all like “pesky kid, wasting my time, wasting my electricity and my computer memory. Wasting your time as well, should be studying. Got exams in a couple of months. You gotta be pulling your finger out.”

I almost did pull my finger out, at him right there and then, but I got wonderful self-restraint.

So Im in a crappy depressed mood at the mo. Its probably gonna get worse when Mr. Wait calls them to say that I didn’t go to the Academic Tutoring and that we have to re-schedule. *sigh* its pointless. If I get to the phone first, im gonna hang up on him.

Thanks for the words of praise on my manga. ^^ I know my handwriting is crappy.

I also got my first commission last night. My friend Paddy wanted a pic for his Valentines card. This is it…



Kinda pervy for a valentines card if you ask me, but a comission is a commission

I’ll have to post the comic strip up later. I cant get it uploaded at the mo. I’ll do it next time I get the chance. It should be up by the end of the day.

ow, my sides ache. Sorry, but I've just read Flueky's latest comic. I haven't laughed like that in ages...

Long post up ahead. Gomen. skip to the end to read the chibi darke comic if you havent the time...

Its been a productive week end for me...well, okay, no it hasn't. I pratically slept through 3/4 of it (but thats what happens when you work in a supermarket...) but the last bit of the weekend was very productive.

I got Paint Shop Pro 7 on my laptop now ^^ i know PSP9 is the latest edition, but PSP7 is all I need. Now i gotta figure out how to use it...

I also moved the Playstation 2 back into my big bro's room. Dad said it was so we didn't blow up my TV, plus the fact that my lil bro can play on it now without bothering me.

I also watched alot of Nicholas Cage this weekend: "City of Angels" (my fav-est non anime movie of all time) and "Con-Air" whcih made me laugh. ^^

I also did one other thing, but im gonna tell you about that in a minute.

Nicola forgot my Manga again. Thats the last time Im lending my manga to anyone. (although I remain open to bribes)
she told me she was going down the pub on Friday night and she would take the manga with her, so I could go pick it up. So I thought, okay, go and get the manga, get a drink, no problem. Its a long way to the pub she was talking about, but not too hard to get to.
Then she said she wasn't gonna stay at the pub, but go round a freinds house and watch DVDs, and I was invited. I checked where her friend lived on a map. It wasn't too far from the pub, but had work in the morning and it would have taken me ages to get home, so I told her to forget it, and to remember to bring the manga back on thurs. Sheesh. all this hassle over three volumes of Saikano, huh? I really want it back tho, i love that manga...

Tomorrow is Academic Tutoring, so I might not get the chance to be online, so apologies in advance.

Also tomorrow is shrove tuesday, or PANCAKE DAY!!!!! Yum. I love Pancakes. Lemon juice, syrup and Sugar on mine please and thank you. Of course this means that wednesday is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Which means I have to give up something until Easter...um...uh...ah frig it. I cant be bothered...

Wednesday is also Chinese New Year, Year of the Rooster (i think)

so thats my life in a nutshell.

what I speant most of yesterday doing was this: SEE NO EVIL, SPEAK NO EVIL MANGA!!!!

i decided to try and convert See No Evil into manga. Its bl00dy hard. I've only done the intro, and that took up four pages, so Im not going to bother, as i havent the time. I might convert Stacked Deck into manga tho, it might be a bit easier. But here's the intro for you guys.

two out of four is alrite i guess...
the cadets didnt piss me off, and i did manage to get some alcohol. ^^
which means of course that my DVDs are still AWOL, but this is the last time Im gonna bitch about it, till I get them, and then i will be walking on air. ^^

AND NICOLA FORGOT MY MANGA!!!

i swear, that girls got a head like a sieve. she said she'll bring em today.

i really cant stay long or visit many people today, tho i will try. but i got stuff to do, so...

One thing, however, I might enter “Stacked Deck” (one of my fics) into this competition from a university. It’s a Creative Writing competition and the winner gets something like £200. I would enter “See No Evil”, but its waaaay too long. ^^ 2000 word limit. So im gonna enter “Stacked Deck” instead. ^^ I hope it does well.

slightly bemused...
first thing I did when I logged on to MyO today was check my Private Messages (as normal). The one from Mitzy kinda threw me. Im not going to post what she asked, go and ask her yourself. But Cee-Kari and Mitzy: I really dont think I want to know how you got onto the topic of conversation...

I'll just say thats its not every day I get asked that...hell, i've never been asked that before.

Today is a day of hopefuls.
HOPEFULLY Nicola will bring back all the volumes of Saikano that I leant her.
HOPEFULLY my DVDs will be delivered today (tho I aint holding my breath)
HOPEFULLY cadets wont piss me off.
HOPEFULLY I will be able to get into the bar and get alky-hol.

and hopefully I will get something done today rather than sit on my 455 and do sweet F.A like I normally do on a thursday.

I wrote some more of my new fanfic last night. Hopefully i will be posting it soon. I would work on it today, but its on my laptop at home, and I left the USB memory stick at home. My laptop doesn't come with a floppy drive y'see, so I have to use the memory stick to move files around. I could have just bought the laptop w/me to school today, but its heavy and really awkward to carry around when riding Luna...

We also had our shopping deliverd last night. Usually mum just goes to the Supermarket, but we were running low on food (i had to resort to eating out of the christmas cookie jar when I got the munchies) so we ordered it online. From the supermarket where I work no less. We usually order it from Sainsburys Online cuz they're free delivery on tuesdays, wednesdays and Thursdays, but their website was being a b1tch, so we went on Tesco instead, who dont have free delivery, but do use less bags when packing. ^^
one compalint tho...they forgot the chocolate custard. >.< oh well, I guess I'll have to make do with the chcolate moose...

so yah, we got food in our house again. Huzzah!

I also had to fill out this form this morning regarding our grades and targets in prep for the interview next week.
here are my grades:

Communication Studies: B
English Literature: B
Music Technology: C

not bad I thought.
and here are the targets I wrote down:
1: Do coursework
2: Revise
3: Pass A2s with a C grade or higher.

we were meant to put down two subject specific targets and a general target, but I couldnt think of any, so I put down three general ones. Part of the form asked "what skills have you used in the above subject?" and I wrote down: "Not falling asleep in class" ^^
I know that this form is going to be used as a basis for the interview, but its only my Head Of Year (PE Teacher...nuff said) and its not an important interview anyway. the important interviews dont come till I actually get out of this crappy hell-hole and get out into the real world.

I couldnt find any Wolf's Rain DVDs yesterday (I guess there not out over here yet).
I did check out some of the soundtrack songs you guys recommended. I did like "Strangers" (thank you Red Tigress) but didnt think too much of the one you recommended Chocobo Gene (cant remember title). it was alright...

I did however buy the DVD/CD combo of Evenescense's Live in Paris concert. The DVD has got the whole concert, behind the scenes videos and Music Videos on it. The CD has the whole concert, plus bonus tracks. Its very good.
I also purchased a Snoopy book. ^^;
So I was reading Snoopy whilst listening to Evenescense. -_-; and poeple wonder why im crazy.

I also had a bath last night. ^^ I've been having showers regularly, but I havent had a bath in ages. It feels really good.

STRAY...no regrets cuz i got nothing to lose...Ev~er STRAY!...so Im gonna live my life as I choose...until I fall..STRAY!
No wonder I love that song. It was composed and arranged by Yoko Kanno (of the Cowboy Bebop fame). Man. the preview has really got me interested in Wolfs Rain now. I might go and see if I can find the DVDs. ^^

Right now I have my Laptop sitting next to my computer at school, playing "Session #7: Heavy Metal Queen" from Cowboy Bebop. ^^

still no DVDs...

I've speant the morning transferring ALL of Midori No Hibi from my schools computer system to my laptop. I've also transferred some mp3s and the like over too.

not lot to talk about today. I've got to a "Academic Tutor" session next week. We get the day off school, but we all have to come in for a 15 minute interview with our form tutors or head of year about target setting and what we hope to achieve.
I've got Mr.Waite, my head of year. *sigh* I really dont wanna go. our parents are also meant to go, but my folks can't make it. Id rather stay in school and catch up then go and talk to him. whatever. i'll decide whether Im going or not next week.

no strip today. Didn't have the time. you're gonna have to make do with this strip.
