hullo...
my DVDs STILL havent come yet. they had better be here soon, i've paid for them.

this post is gonna have to be really short, as I have work to do, and I dont know if i'll be able to use this puter past my normal lesson time...

my dad brought home a laptop from one of his collegues yesterday who wants to sell it. he only got it last year, so its still fairly new. he tried to sell it back to HP (where he got it from) but they wouldn't take it back cuz it had some hairline cracks in the casing and some barely noticable damage in the lid bit. he's willing to sell it for £500 pounds. All i have to do with it is install Microsoft works on it and it'l be ready to go for all my computer needs. ^^ i got it on trial basis for a week.

do ya like my new BG piccy? i was mucking about on the laptop and worked out how to get a pic from my Gundam SEED DVD. Red Frame Astray Gundam is my fav. ^^

I learnt an important and valuable lesson this week-end...
I cant do D.I.Y. T.T more about that in a minute.


first off, my DVDs still havent come through yet, but they shouldnt be much longer.

secondly, I had an AWESOME time up London with my mate on saturday. I got everything that i wanted to
get, aprat from SEED manga vol 4, cuz its not out yet. ^^;
so to my manga collection i've added:
Saikano vol 3
Seed Astray vol 3
Chobits vol 3
A.I Love You vol 2

and to my anime DVD collection I've added
Love Hina vol 3
Azumanga Daioh vol 3
and Dai Guard vols 4,5 and 6

hmm. i seem to be collecting alot of vol 3s. ^^
i was laughing alot this weekend, cuz alot of these are really funny. Especially Love Hina and Azumanga Daioh. ^^
Saikano makes me all angsty tho. hmm. oh well, its still an awesome manga.

neway, all this manga and stuff means i had run out of room on my shelf. so i took my DVD racks that my lil bro had got me for xmas 2003, and attempted to attach them to the wall.
hoo boy, was that a disaster. there are now 6 holes in my wall that have no use what-so ever, plus the four that the DVD rack is now attached to.
My main problem was that I used a wood drill instead of a mason/brick drill. i had got bout half inch into the wall when i hit brick. I told my dad i couldnt get any further, so he told me to switch the drill to hi-power mode and put all my weight into it. so i did that. still nothing, apart from the smell of burning. I pulled the drill out and it was glowing red-hot. when it fianly cooled down, i could see that it was warped, twisted, and totally unusable. thankfully my dad was fairly cool about it. he ended up doing it for me. *sigh* at least i hoovered up the dust without many problems...

so yah. Darke Angel cant do DIY. ^^;

Through the years and far away...
sods law innit? over the past three months I have ordered three packages from Amazon. the package i ordered last came today. more bout that in a second. the package i ordered 2nd is due tomorrow (hopefully). the package i ordered first, in november will be here in march. *sigh*

but im really glad my package came today. i got Gundam Wing: Episode Zero manga and Voices of a Distant Star Soundtrack CD. ^^ I love that anime and the music is pure brilliance. it was the last CD they had in stock, and im so pleased i mangaed to get it. i wanna get the Saikano soundtrack too, but i cant seem to find it anywhere.

I left supa late for school today. ^^; oh well.

it was great fun at my mates house yesterday. we used his multi-tracker recorder to make up a funny song. we didnt use instruments, just our voices. its really...weird. but amazingly amusing at the same time.

*pokes Purplepenguins24 in the eyes* Ha! you blinked. I rule!!

Tomorrow is my day off work, so im gonna go up london and buy tonnes of manga wih my mate. and go to a bar. ^^;

Thousands are going down with it. some are going up with it, and a couple of people are even going sideways with it. we must quarantine the area. Put a fence around britain. no one is allowed to leave the country, unless they're going to Utah.


LOL. ^^ (my apologies to anyone who took offence to the Utah comment.)

Im kinda narked. me DVDs weren't there when I got home. poo. they shoulod be here by staurday, as well as some more stuff that i ordered yesterday. i also learned that my other package (that i ordered in NOVEMBER) has been set back till the middle of march. *sigh* I guess thats what you get for ordering MT vol 3 from amazon...

on the other hand, i've had some fresh inspiration, so i have a few more Chibi Darke Days to post up. Todays strip will be a bit later.

i still gotta write "thank you" letters to some of my relatives for stuff i got for my birthday. *sigh*

my dad should be putting my cash into my bank account today. ^^ I might get me a laptop. the Dell Inspiron 510m looks pretty good for what I want, plus its in the sale (until the end of the month, so I have to be quick) so i might get me one of them. ^^

Im gonna go round my friend Paddy's house in a minute. he's invited me over, and i really cant be arsed to sit in music all day today. Im fed up with this school and their attitude to the Upper 6th form. Today we got a memo in morning form period from the head of 6th stating that if we miss assembly or tutor periods we will get put on report. that sucks! its not like we learn anything in assembly or tutor periods anyway. that time could be better used. here's the stupid thing tho. get this: for assemblies, being late is not an excuse. Uh, DUH yes it is, cuz if im not here, i cant be in assembly! doi.
stupid school. deserves to BURN TO THE GROUND!!!!!

EDIT: hey, im back. I know I said Id update more, but honestly, i dont have anything to say. school sucks. my life is kinda quiet and dull today.

my aunt came round last night with my birthday pressie, but she's still waiting for my Christmas pressie to come through!! I guess thats ehat happens when you ask for a lot of imported stuff. ^^;
she's recently been on a trip to chicago and texas (the Alamo). she showed us a map with all the Amtrack lines and showed us the route she took. There are not many lines leading to the middle of america. hmm. not alot that lead to tenessee either. woah, that was random. ne hoo.

I finished my birthday cake last night. ^^ yum.

hopefully when i get home i should have a bunch of DVDs waiting for me. "Gundam Movie box collection" and "Gundam: War in the pocket." Vol 1. ^^

and on saturday I have the day off work, so hopefully i can get up to forbidden planet and buy stuff. ^^

no strip today, I havent had the opportunity (or inspiration) to do any. T.T they'll be back soon.

hmm. having money makes you popular...
i got all these invitations to stop off by people's neighbourhoods on my travels. ^^ LOL.

and in answer to Flueky's question: Chicken Tikka Masala tastes like...um...chicken? no, it has a unique taste. it honestly tastes like nothing else on this earth (apart from several toxic chemicals) and you have to try it before you know whether you'd like it or not.

UND so, my brother goes home today. T.T back to new york, and he has to go straight back to work literally as soon as he lands. I feel for him. ^^ Its been nice having him home for the holidays, i really enjoyed it.

last night i tried to get my coursework together. i dont think im gonna get it done for tomorrow, so im gonna ask for a short extension till the end of the week. ^^;

i see you. *points* yes, you!!!
hiya everyone.

in answer to the oft asked question:
"where do you sleep?" the easiest way to answer that is: IN BED!!!!

the stuff on my bed is not normally there, just that day, cuz it was my birthday and i hadnt found a place to keep all my newly aquired stuff.

i finished counting ALL the money that i have recently been granted from christmas, my birthday and inheritance, and it comes to just under £5000 in total. thats about...9,352 US Dollars and 50 cents roughly. so yah, im loaded. ^^

but like I siad, im gonna put alot of it in a savings account and maybe use it to go travelling. I was talking with my older bro, and we had a plan. Depending on loadsa things, we were planning to have me spend a month or so with him in the summer in New York, then travel across America, seeing the sights. When we get to the Pacific Coast we're gonna catch a plane over to Australia and see some stuff over there. Then we're gonna head back to England via Asia and Europe. sounds like fun, apart from the fact that it will be mostly coach and train journeys (gotta keep the costs low ^^)

I also went out drinking with my bro on Saturday after work.
We had a nice bro to bro chat, and it was fun.
A lil word of advice, however: DO NOT MIX YOUR DRINKS. I did NOT end up drunk, but i was ever so slightly tipsy when we walked home. ^^; i wasnt slurring my words, and I was walking in a straight line, but still. ^^ My liver probably hates me now.

we all went out for a meal last night as well. I had Chiken Tikka Masala, which was nice. We went out partly as a Birthday celebration and partly cuz my brother goes home tomorrow.

I hope all all those who asked for a See No Evil pack got them. I e-mailed em to you all last night, so hopefully you should have them by now.

w00t. Pictures.
thank you one and all for your birthday greetings. ^^

My nan came round last night and although she didnt get me any manga, she did bring something more important...inheritance. From my Great-Granddad (whom I was named after) I got his watch. Its quite a nice watch. ^^ And from my other great grandad i got over £700 inheritance money. And my nan and grandpa (from my mums side) themselves brought me £100 to spend how i want. ^^
I also learned that an account was set up by my nan and Grandad (from my dads side) set up an account when i was born, and i will be getting access to that shortly. Add that to all the money i got sent for my birthday, Im loaded. ^^

Im gonna put most of it in a big account and use it when i go travelling round the world. i think that would be best.

As it was my birthday, I also got to choose what I wanted to eat for dinner...so we all had proper British Fish N Chips. Well, I had fish n chips (cod in batter. yum!). My bro and dad had a donner kebab, my mum had pie, and my lil bro had a saveloy (a spicey sausage thing). trust me you guys, you havent the foggiest what you're missing, PROPER Fish and Chips is the BEST! You guys call em "fries" but im talking big fat potato, deep fat fried with salt and vinegar! the best meal on this earth!!!!!!!

I also got a digital camera last night, so here we go crazy with pictures!!!!

it may look like a bomb has hit it, but actually its a carefully crafted and dedicated organised mess. I know where everything is, so dont clean it up.

its actually a lot tidier now. i really should use it to work on and stuff, but oh well.

w00t!!!! ITS MAH BIRTHDAY. IMA GONNA PARTY LIKE ITS MAH BIRTHDAY!!

well, actually no, im not, cuz im stuck in school. But wait till I get out... *evil laugh*

I got pressies!!!! My mum and Dad got me this cool Digital Camera!!! so expect loadsa piccys (as soon as I work out how to use it!!) my brothers got me a pair of electric razors, a portable one and a plug in one, so now my chin is oh so smooth ^^ I also got some cash and some other bits. No anime or manga, but my nan is coming round later so i might get some stuff then. ^^
Oh, I also got this waaay cool lil frisby thing to take with me when I go travelling. Its made out of some kind of elastic, so you can fold it up and stuff it in your bag, but when you get it out, it returns to its original shape, so you can play frisbee!! LOL

Glad you guys liked my pic. Yeah, I am kinda bigger than Chibi Darke. Chibi Darke is like 3 and half inches tall, Im more like 6 foot, 1 and a bit inches tall. and thos ice skates add about another 2 inches. ^^ I was hiding my wings cuz id knock alot of people over otherwise. ^^

Im gonna have a good one, and I hope you guys do too. Thanks a million to Flueky-chan who sent me a birthday card. ^^ *hugs* thats so sweet. ^^

EDIT: I just finshed downloading and reading the final Volume of Midori No Hibi. its kinda beautiful, I really enjoyed this manga. And now i hear (from Newtype USA) that Midori is about to be licensed and released in the US! So i can expect to see the anime as well!! coolness. ^^

hey everyone, im back. yep, back for good. well, a while. I have exams in a week or two, but that shouldnt effect me too much. I DO however, have a great wad or work thats threatning to bury me alive. Music, Comms and soon English will all be throwing coursework and deadlines at me, and so, my posts might be a bit short or less regular like.

but nehoo, how are you all? It will take me a while to catch up with you all, so bare with me.

My christmas, as you heard, was cool, despite my depressed mood. New Year was nothing to shout about. And now Im back at school. *sigh*

Hey, do ya like my photo up top? there was another one I had, but the file has been corrupted, so ya just got the one.

For christmas I got "Bulletproof Monk" on DVD, Gulity Gear X2 and War of Monsters on PS2 and my lil bro bought me a buncha art stuff!
I also got Saikano vol 4 on DVD!!! unfortunatly I havent seen vol 3 yet!!! i was gonna wait til i got vol 3, but i couldnt wait, I HAD to watch the end of Saikano. oh boy. I love that manga/anime...

I also bought myself "A.I Love You" vol 1 manga, by Ken Akamatsu, the same guy who did Love Hina. Its quite amusing, and the art is quite different from Love Hina, as this was his earlier work. I also got Love Hina vols 1 and 2 on DVD. w00t. Kitsune and Motoko are my Favs, but i like all the Hinata girls. ^^

I have several strips to post. Here's todays. It was based vaguely on an idea from Flukey-chan that she PMed to me.
