hey everyone. thanks for the lots and lots of kind comments i received on my last post. thank you for sharing all that stuff with me. ^^ (PSST. Amber!! you said you was gonna comment!!)
this week i've been kinda busy (well, since wednesday at anyrate). I managed to get over to my Aunts place and tidy up her front garden and start on her back garden, mostly just pulling up weeds. I did three hours on thursday, and an hour on friday (t'was raining and there was quite alot to do, so i only did a bit of it) and i got paid £40 for those four hours! which is really really good!

so anyway, after all that i went to snorkelling club. there has been like no-one there all summer. i guess its cuz most of the members are on holiday, but it still sucks. its not as much fun where there's only a handful of us.
Yesterday i went into Eltham (my local town) and went to the library to pick up some research on the RAF and i also picked up a magazine too about Airforce news. I need to start preparing for my AFCO (armed forces careers office) interview. i also gotta start getting myself fit. i have a basic measure of fitness, i but its nowhere near where it should be. i gotta start running regularly. i dont really want to, but im going to have to if i wanna get in. ^^;;
Yesterday evening i went up to London to the National Film Theatre to see Patlabor and a new film called Mind Game. I left the house way too late though and had to get my mum to drive me to the station. i only just made it to the NFT, but it was worth rushing to get there in time. Patlabor is one of my fav movies, and seeing it remastered on the big screen was FANTASTIC. then i had a while before the next film started, so i went to grab a bite to eat, and i also had to wait for my best friend Nic to turn up, cuz he was gonna watch it with me. The train he was on was delayed though. I left the ticket for him at the front desk, but they dont usually let people in after about 10 minutes. Nic got to the station about 5 minutes after the film started, and then ran around southbank for a further 5 minutes trying to find the theatre! its really hard to find unless you know where it is. He found it eventually though, and they were kind enough to let him in even though he was late, but we had to sit in seperate seats. i saw him sneak in though, so i didnt have to get up and go look for him, which was good. The film itself was...different. it was really realy funny, but nothing like conventional anime. the animation was a bit trippy sometimes, and the story was outright bizarre, but it was funny, and you sorta got what was going on. the animation looked really basic, but there were places where you could see it was a bit more complex, and there were a couple of seen where they had used live actors, and then animated on top of the film, like they do in the new Keanu Reeves movie, A Scanner Darkly. it was really good movie all in all though, if you're willing to be a bit open minded when ya see it. If you liked Paranoia Agent, you might like Mind Game, its got the same sort of surreal-ness to it.
Afterwards we managed to properly meet up and we went for a drink. I think i musta spent a grand total of about an hour or so with nic last night, but it really didnt matter, cuz we just work so well together. we just "get" each other, so its really easy to make each other laugh, and just generally have a great time. He's going to University soon, so it will be even harder to see him, but he's invited me to go down and visit him whenever i want, so thats cool.
we got the train from london back, but he got off early cuz he was going to a nightclub to see some of his other friends, but i felt like just coming straight home, so i stayed on the train and did so. then i walked home from the station (about half an hours walk) at about midnight last night. i had a great time though, definitely worth the expensive tickets. ^^
Unfortunatly due to the fact i was out most of yesterday, i havnt had the chance to draw a CDD for you today.
instead i give you an amusing lil video i found whilst browsing YouTube.
its called "Nightwish: Wishmaster- The Misheard Lyrics" its quite amusing, even if you dont like Nightwish. Its a persons interpretation of what the words of Wishmaster sound like rather then what they actually are. *shrugs* i found it funny at anyrate. Enjoy!
see ya on wednesday folks. ARRRGHHH!!! I GO BACK TO WORK TOMORROW!!!!!!
