Im in Love with my Lust, burning Angel Wings to Dust...
"Wish I had an Angel"- Nightwish.
g'day to you my fellow otaku. (sheesh, now im even greeting you guys in Aussie tongue. the influence of Blue. lol)
i havnt a huge amount to talk about today, just giving you a round up of friday and the upcoming week.
Friday i was up in London getting my jabs done. didnt even hurt, and now i am immunised from Hep A and Hep B for about 10 years! w00t!
i also stopped off in Forbidden Planet and picked up Ecole du Ciel manga vol 4, Getbackers DVD vol 9, FMA DVD vol 3 and i discovered something i have been longng to get for a long long time but have never seen until now.
"Der Mond" an Evangelion art book by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the guy who did the Evangelion character designs.i love his work, especially his illustrations of...yes, you guessed it... Rei. ^///^ ph34r my huge and somewhat creepy rei obsession.
now i have both Die Sterne and Der Mond...my Eva art collection is growing. ^^
afterwards i went to the British Museum to check out the recently re-opened Japanese section. there was some really cool stuff there including a genuine samurai word that could potentially still be used, and a whole bunch of other stuff from the past way up to the present. they even had an old picture of a Gundam and some manga too. lol. iforget to take my camera, but i took some picture with my camera phone...nw i gotta get the software to get it from my phone to my laptop. ^^;;
i also went into the British Museum's Reading Room...ITS HUGE!!! i thought it was gonna be some low ceilinged room in the basement or something, but its like a massive auditorium with tonnes of books...i didnt get to read any of em, i think you need to be a member to actually get into the reading section, but they allow members of the public to go in the first bit to see what it looks like. i was in awe. ^^
that was my friday. yesterday i worked, and im working every day this week till thursday. thursday i have off, so i'll probably pack that day. i gotta get everything sorted for Ireland this week. i leave thursday evening, and reurn on Monday, so there will be no post next sunday. i will bring back lots piccies though. ^^
okies, thats it from me today. i got nothing for ya. be inventive and think of something amusing that would normally fill the space below...
that was fun wasnt it? hope you enjoyed it.
toodles.
