I became a very happy PoT fangirl today ^-^ The end of the first half of the OVAS is on youtube so I watched eps 12 and 13 unsubbed. I need to rewatch 13 though, since I couldn't hear much of what everyone was saying. I just know that Ryoma shaved my beloved Atobe's hair when he was unconscious! That little devil! >.< Poor Atobe! *cries* His new haircut is UGLY. Ugh, I can't stand it. He looks too much like Akutsu now. The prime reason I fell in love with Atobe was because of his beautiful hair...and now it's gone...and it's all Ryoma's fault. *grabs razor to go shave Ryoma's head* mehehe. Also, I found a HUGE collection of PoT pics and song files and I'm in my own TeniPuri fantasyworld.

I read the new Naruto chapter and omg...I love Suigetsu and Karin. Karin is HOTT! Since Sasuke doesn't want her, seriously, I'll take her >D Sakura is still my fave girl, but Karin is definitely a close second. I have picures waiting to be scanned and colored and whatnot. But I'm a lazy person =P Half the time when I need inspiration and I'm flipping through my sketchbook, I pause on a pic and I'm all: "wow! How did I draw that?!" Silliness. My ability to draw amazes me. Cuz I used to SUCK at drawing people. I only drew dinosaurs and animals way back when I was like...10, 11, and 12. Then suddenly I got hooked on anime and BAM! I've been slowly improving my people-drawing skills through the years. I've definitely come a long way. When I look back at my drawings from 9th grade, I'm like: "damn...what was I on when I drew this?" My people had HUGE heads and always had their hands behind their backs. Everything was so...bad. Now my people are somewhat proportional, but I still suck at drawing hands. That's something I need to continue practicing. I also want maybe start a study on the male form. I love drawing guys so I want to help myself improve ^-^

You know my new sasuke painting? I wanted to do a Hidan and Itachi one...and hell, maybe even a Sakura one if I can manage. Guess it all depends how motivated I am. I'll look at real-life pics for reference on poses, since my brain has lost the ability to project poses in my mind =/ I'm weird, I know. Man, with all the PoT pics I've saved on my comp, I wanna make a slideshow thingy in tribute. But...that would take a lot of time and...yeah...I don't feel like it right now. =P

Gah, this is another freaking long post. So...I guess I'll shut up. Bye!

I'm downloading the new Naruto Shippuden eps now...squee! I won't be able to see it until after I come back from class today, but I'm so excited. My bro and I watched the new Bleach and Death Note eps. OMG, Death Note was an AWESOME episode! Why my bro likes evil Light I'll never know. He was like: "Light is cooler when he's evil. He's a wimp when he's not." =P I know something bad is gonna happen in the next chapter. Hearing L mumble: "Sayonara" in the preview wasn't a good sign.

Yesterday was odd. I went back to school for my class at 2 yesterday and the second I got in the classroom my prof was like: "Oh, Natalie. We're going on a field trip." and I'm all: "O.o what? where to?" "North Hampton." Then he had me sign one of those permission papers (since I'm 18 I can sign without having my parents do anything. I love that ^-^) and then he asked me where Erica was. I said she might be in the student lounge so I went running out the building, and down to the student lounge. I was like out of breath when I found Erica. She was eating pizza and I was all: "Erica! We gotta go! We're going on a field trip!" She jumped up: "What?! Where?" "North Hampton I guess." "How are we getting there?" "We're taking cars or something." My feet hurt soooo much from running up and down all those stairs. My college campus isn't small =P So we made it back in time. We took three cars. Erica, me, and another guy went with our professor. We were going to see our prof's art gallery. We spent about...a half hour there and then we went back to the college. I was home earlier than most thursdays =D

I finally found names for my original characters. Mitch is a human and he's so cute and goofy. Then there's Ru, my demon boy. I was drawing character studies of them in english class yesterday =P Oh yeah, and I found this website that had an entire Itachi Uchiha cosplay costume...and I bought it. Hopefully it arrives soon. It comes with his Akatsuki cloak that closes, his fishnet shirt and pants, his shoes, necklace, headband, his ring, and a bag thingy. I was so pumped. So my mom and I ordered it yesterday. I can go to my first anime convention in a costume that wasn't half-assed! yay!

Anyway, I have to start getting ready since my class is at 10 and it's 9:07 right now. I have to leave around 9:30-ish so as not to be late. So bye bye peeps!

It's late again...but oh well. We watched Trigun in the anime club today. I never got to see it, so I was excited. Our resident "Wolfwood" aka Erica's boyfriend brought it in. I really like it...I should have asked him if I could borrow the dvd set. Oh well. Kassie (sp?), the girl in charge of the club, was talking to me today about our rooming arrangements for when we go to Anime Boston. I guess I'm rooming with Bridget and another girl. ^-^

I got stuff I wanna post but...eh...I'm lazy =P Oh yeah, and I've created these three very random original characters. I haven't named them yet, but I did make them into dolls at dollwizard.com. Well, one is called Taurus...for now. The other two guys...ehhh. I'll figure something out. But I really like them =) I wrote more to my PoT fic...again. I was bored =/

So yeah...here's part of my AtobeOC fic...it's just some random part. I don't know where I'll put it in the story.

---------

Natari would have really appreciated Atobe telling her that his friends would be coming over. She was in absolute shock to see the Hyotei tennis team seated in the dining hall one morning, greeting her as if they were all old friends. She stared at them, mouth hanging open, as she stood before them in her pajamas.

“Ohayou gozaimasu, Mizuno-san,” Ootori greeted with a warm smile.

The others all nodded in greeting. Natari walked to the table as though in a trance. She sat down across from another of one of her classmates, Hiyoshi Wakashi. “Um…what are you all doing here?” she finally asked. “Atobe never said anything about having guests.”

“Ore-sama shouldn’t have to tell you anything,” Atobe replied airily as he walked into the dining hall in his silk pajamas. “Ore-sama makes the rules around here. Ore-sama decides who comes and goes.”

“Yes, oh mighty one,” Natari grumbled. “I forgot. ‘You are the rule.’”

Atobe smirked. “Exactly. And you will be painting ore-sama today.”

Natari sighed and nodded. She ate her food slowly, trying to remember the names of the rest of the tennis team. One of the 3rd years, Mukahi, if she remembered right, leaned across the table with a grin and said, “So…does he ask you to paint him naked?”

Natari spit out the juice she was drinking and stared wide-eyed at the red-head. He continued to grin. Atobe looked as if the comment didn’t faze him one bit. Natari muttered a curse under her breath before realizing that she had spit her juice all over Hiyoshi. “Gah! Hiyoshi-kun, gomen nasai!” She reached across the table with a napkin. Hiyoshi merely grunted a response.

“Gakuto, you need to learn what questions are appropriate when people are eating,” Oshitari said pushing his glasses up his nose. “That wasn’t one of them.”

“But I’m curious, Yuushi,” he whined.

Atobe flicked his hair. “Mizuno will not be painting me naked anytime soon,” he stated.

Thank god, she thought.

“Mizuno, I am going to get dressed for the painting. Meet me down in the studio.”

“Hai.” Natari got up from her seat and trudged up the stairs to her room. She put on a large shirt with paint stains and flair jeans that had several designs on them. She grabbed her tools and made her way to the studio. She wasn’t sure what he wanted her to paint him like today, so she waited for him to arrive.

The other regulars appeared behind her, smiling and sitting down to observe. Atobe strode into the room wearing nothing but a white garb that resembled a toga. Natari’s eyes widened. “I thought you said I wouldn’t be painting you naked,” she growled.

“Ore-sama never said showing a little skin would be against the rules,” he replied, settling himself down on the sofa.

“You’re showing more than ‘a little skin’.”

“Aa~? Are you questioning ore-sama?”

The brunette sighed. “No.”

Atobe stood up and settled for a pose. “Paint me like a Greek god,” he ordered. Natari made a face. “What? It’s a simple request.”

“You want me to paint you like you’re some kind of god? Kami-sama have mercy on all our souls for witnessing this,” she mumbled. Gakuto was muffling his laugh behind her.

Atobe glared over at her. “Just paint, Mizuno. I’m not paying you to make sarcastic comments.”

“Hai, hai.” Natari set to work on the canvas. She could hear the mumblings of the boys behind her, complimenting her work softly. She allowed herself a smile as she looked at Atobe in his pose. Slowly his image appeared more regal. The colors became more vibrant. Natari’s brush strokes became more vivid. The picture was coming to life. How Atobe could stand for as long as he was, was anyone’s guess. Natari knew he had had plenty of practice from previous artists coming to sculpt or paint him. With seventy percent of the painting done, Natari smiled and put her paint brush down.

“Finished already?” Atobe asked, getting out of his pose and coming to stand beside her. He examined the somewhat finished painting. “Another masterpiece, Mizuno,” he muttered before leaving the room to change. The Hyotei boys behind her came closer to look at the painting as well.

“It came out so well, Mizuno-san,” Ootori said smiling. “Very professional.”

“Thanks, Ootori-kun.”

“Even if the subject matter is Atobe, your talent is amazing,” Oshitari commented.

“T-Thanks, Oshitari-senpai.”

“What do you mean ‘even if the subject matter is Atobe’, aa~?” Atobe said walking back into the room, fully dressed in a light blue collared shirt with designer jeans. “Are you saying the painting would be better without ore-sama, Oshitari?”

The tensai smirked. “Of course not, Atobe. I’m just saying that Mizuno is very talented and it’s a shame her talents are solely on your behalf at the moment.”

“Che.”

And these are the random scenes I wrote in my other PoT fic.

Akutsu didn’t understand romance. Or rather, he just chose not to. He wouldn’t admit it, but there were times he wished he had listened to Sengoku’s experiences with the opposite sex. He found himself in an odd friendship with Takara. He didn’t make friends; well, he had friends, but he basically ignored all of them. But Takara was someone he actually spoke to and spent time with.

His mother had kept giving him such happy looks lately. It was freaky and disturbing and it annoyed him. Why was she so happy? When he brought Takara into his mother’s work, he finally realized the reason for his mother’s happiness. It was Takara. She was happy that her son was actually being friendly with a girl. Akutsu had to scoff at that. Takara was defenseless on her own. He was just…protecting her. Any real man would do the same.

At least, that was his excuse. He couldn’t explain the excited feelings he felt when he saw her after a boring day at school. And he couldn’t explain why he felt angry whenever he thought another boy was getting too friendly with Takara. He was sure that if he had spoken with Sengoku, the red-head would have said he had a crush. Akutsu wanted to laugh out loud. A crush? Yeah right. He just felt comfortable around the girl. Didn’t mean he liked her.

Then why the hell was he excited at the prospect of seeing her again? He walked down the street with his hands in his pockets, completely ignoring everyone and everything around him. His feet were subconsciously taking him to Takara’s house. He found himself in front of her door, cursing himself when the door opened to reveal a middle-aged man with graying hair and blue eyes. He blinked.

“Can I help you?” he said.

“Is Takara home?” Akutsu heard himself ask. He tried to sound as rude as possible.

The man’s eyebrows furrowed. “She’s in her room. I’m sorry, but who are you?”

Akutsu glared at the man. “Akutsu Jin.”

“Oh, so you’re the boy she’s been talking about.”

The teen scowled. “What’s she said?”

“That a nice boy by the name of Akutsu had been helping her around lately.”

“Keh.”

“Are you going to come in?” Akutsu hesitated a moment before striding inside the house. He towered over the older man, but felt slightly insecure. This man was Takara’s father. Akutsu didn’t like dealing with older folks, or anyone really. “Takara, there’s someone here to see you!” her father called.

As they waited for the girl to come down from her room, Akutsu could feel her father’s eyes searching him; studying him; observing him. “What?” he finally growled.

“You’re not what I expected,” the older man admitted. “The way Takara talks about you I pictured you differently.”

Akutsu narrowed his eyes. “Disappointed?”

“Worried.”

“Worried?”

“Takara is shy and has a hard time fitting in. Her blindness has restricted her to living at home and not making many friends. I’m sure you understand, given that you’ve spent a lot of time with her. I’m worried that people she befriends will betray her.”

“I wouldn’t do that.”

Mr. Masashi smiled. “You don’t look it, but you’ve got a good head on your shoulders, kid.”

Akutsu shrugged. “I’m doing what any man would do.”

“Unfortunately, no one has ever made this much of an impact on Takara’s life. You’re all she talks about.”

If Akutsu was any other person, he probably would have blushed in embarrassment. But he wasn’t. He merely shrugged his shoulders again and turned his head at the sound of footsteps at the top of the stairs. He glanced up and saw Takara. Her hair was pulled back into a half-hazard ponytail.

“Who’s here, Tou-san?” she asked.

“Yo,” Akutsu greeted.

A smile broke across her face. “Akutsu-san!” She walked down the stairs as fast as she could. “What brings you here?”

“Thought you might like to take a walk with me.”

“Now?”

“Yeah.”

“Um…is that okay, Tou-san?”

Mr. Masashi pat his daughter’s head before leaning down to kiss her forehead. “Bring her back before it gets too dark,” he said to Akutsu.

The silver-haired teen nodded and grasped Takara’s hand as they walked out of the house. “I hope my dad didn’t bother you too much, Akutsu-san,” Takara mumbled. “He’s very protective of me.”

“We have something in common,” he muttered.

“What?”

“Nothing.”

“Ne, is the sun setting?”

“How’d you know?”

“I can feel the sun on my face. It feels like the evening sun.” Akutsu just stared ahead. “What color is the sky?” she continued.

“Pink…orange…gold…”

“Gold like your eyes, Akutsu-san?”

He paused. “Yeah.”

She smiled, turning her head towards him. He didn’t appreciate things like beauty, but in that moment, he’d never seen something so breathtaking. Her blue eyes were shining even though they couldn’t see him. Her reddish brown hair was pulled back into the messiest ponytail he had ever seen and there were small freckles barely visible on her cheeks. The sun was hitting her skin directly, giving her a slightly tanned appearance.

“It sounds nice,” she said.

He grunted a response. What the hell is wrong with me? he thought angrily.

“Akutsu-san…”

“What?”

“Um…do you think you could fix my ponytail? I’m afraid I did it wrong, but I can’t tell…”

“Sure,” he replied, without thinking. He reached his hand up to pull the hair tie out of her soft hair. Her hair fell around her shoulders and Akutsu had to bite his tongue so as not to say anything. She looked even better with her hair down. The dark tresses were slightly wavy from being in a ponytail. His hand gently touched her cheek.

Takara frowned slightly. “Is something wrong?”

Akutsu couldn’t describe what he was feeling. He’d never felt it before. When his fingers brushed through her hair, his breath hitched. Fuck, he cursed. Fuckfuckfuckfuck! I’m acting like a pussy! Takara of course was confused. Akutsu continued to curse in his head even when his mouth was inches from hers. He stared into her expressionless eyes and then looked at her lips, which were still frowning.

“Akutsu-san?”

I’m fucked, he thought as he leaned down, sealing his mouth over hers. Takara stiffened and gasped. Akutsu held her against him, running his tongue along her lower lip, trying to get some kind of response from her. He’d never kissed anyone before, so he wasn’t even sure if he was doing it right. C’mon, do something! he growled.

Takara’s hands slowly came up to his face as he kissed her. She pulled away with a smile. Her eyes lowered to the ground and a bright flush was on her cheeks. “D-Does this mean Akutsu-san likes me?” she whispered, touching her lips with her fingers.

“What do you think, idiot?” he said teasingly.

Her face burned. “I-I like you too.” She raised her head. “Akutsu-san…”

“Jin,” he interrupted.

“…Akutsu-kun…”

He sighed and rolled his eyes. “Better than nothing, I guess. It wouldn’t kill you to not be polite, you know.”

“I know.” She kicked her foot against the pavement of the sidewalk. “C-Can we continue our walk, Akutsu-kun?”

“Yeah.” He grabbed her hand with his own. “Where do you wanna go?”

“Is the park still open?”

“It should be.”

“Let’s go there.”

Akutsu actually felt happy for once in his life. Of course he’d never admit it out loud.

“Now you can’t tell me that isn’t the cutest thing you’ve ever seen,” Niou said as he saw his kouhai with his girlfriend holding hands as they walked down the street. The person he was addressing, his doubles partner as well as friend, sighed and pushed his glasses further onto his face.

“Masaharu, I’m sure Akaya wouldn’t appreciate us spying on him and his date,” Yagyuu replied.

“Relax. I wanna see ‘em kiss!”

Yagyuu groaned to himself. “If Sanada finds out…”

“He won’t, Yagyuu. Know why?” The silver-haired trickster grinned. “It’s because you won’t say anything.”

“And why shouldn’t I?”

“Because—ah! They kissed! That’s cell phone camera time!” He quickly pulled out his cell phone and took a picture. “You can’t tell me that isn’t adorable.”

The other boy glanced at the picture and sighed. “You’re hopeless, Masaharu.”

“Puri~! My sweet innocent little kouhai is all grown up! I’m so proud!”

Innocent? Yagyuu repeated in his mind. When was Akaya ever innocent?

“Nya, Fujiko!” Eiji cried happily, glomping his friend from behind. “Is it true you and Sapph-chan are dating?”

Fuji smiled like he usually did. “Hai, Eiji. It’s true.”

The energetic red-head grinned. “Have you kissed her yet, nya?”

Fuji continued to smile. “Perhaps.”

“Kawaii, Fujiko!”

“Eiji, is there any reason why you’re glomping poor Fuji?” Shiori said walking up behind them. “He needs to breathe, you know.”

“Nya, Shiori-chan, guess what?”

The blonde rolled her eyes. “What?”

“Fujiko is dating Sapph-chan!”

“Yeah, I know. Sapphire told me.”

“Ehhh??!! How come you know before I do, nya?” Eiji pouted at Fuji as he let him go. “Did you tell anyone else, Fuji?”

The honey-haired brunette gave a sympathetic smile. “No, Eiji. You’re the first I’ve told on the tennis team.”

“Great, nya! Now I can go tell Oishi!” He literally hopped down the hallway.

Shiori sweat-dropped. “You know Eiji as well as I do,” she said.

“Aa.”

“Want me to stop him from broadcasting your relationship all over the school?”

“I’d appreciate it. Thank you, Ito-san.”

“No prob.” Shiori walked down the hall as fast as she could to stop her boyfriend.

“Fuji.” The tensai turned and saw his long-time friend walking towards him.

“Tezuka.”

“Is something wrong?”

“No. Just a few things on my mind.”

“Aa.”

Fuji turned and gave him a wicked smile. “By the way, how’s Wilson-san?”

Tezuka almost tripped on his own feet. “What about her?” he said, trying to hide his blush.

“Tezuka, you know avoiding conversation is a bad habit.”

The brunette wanted to murder Fuji. “How would I know how she is?”

Still smiling, the tensai said, “I saw you and her in the clubroom the other day.”

Tezuka paled. “So?”

“Wilson-san’s tattoo is awfully interesting, wouldn’t you say?”

Words could not describe Tezuka’s anger and embarrassment. He said the only thing he could think of at the time. “Fuji, 100 laps today at practice.”

That didn’t stop the famous prodigy from smiling like his birthday had just come early. That’s when Tezuka came to the conclusion that Fuji Syuusuke was a seriously sadistic person.

“Where did Hitomi and Yuushi say they were going again?” Hitomi’s mother asked.

“Dancing with some friends, I think,” he husband answered.

“Aa.”

When Hitomi and Yuushi entered the club, a surge of freedom and adventure overcame them. They had kept their relationship hidden from their families for so many years. Now here they were, in a club full of people that didn’t know them and wouldn’t judge them. Hitomi felt like she could do anything she wanted at that moment. Yuushi’s hands on her waist brought her back to reality.

“Want to dance?” he said huskily.

She smiled. “You didn’t even have to ask.”

He brought her onto the dance floor, grinding his hips sensually against her. His hands roamed up and down her body. His lips lowered to her neck. Hitomi threw her head back against his chest. Her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him down. Yuushi’s teeth nipped at the base of her neck. “You have no idea how much I want to ravish you right now,” he purred in her ear. Hitomi smirked as she turned around in his arms.

She leaned up to kiss him. “There’s some rooms out back,” she winked. The tensai grinned.

Bonnie didn’t know what to expect when she went to go meet up with Hajime. For him to suddenly abandon school activities, it must have been important. She found him sitting alone on a park bench, just staring at the ground. “Hajime?” she said softly.

He looked up and smiled. “Thanks for coming.”

“Is something wrong?”

He avoided her gaze. “I feel like I’m losing you,” he muttered.

“Losing me?” she repeated. “How so?”

“I’ve been spending so much time at school and you’ve been hanging out with Yuuta-kun. And…it’s painful, Bonnie. I don’t want to think about not having you around, but I have and it hurts.” He clenched at his chest where his heart was. “It hurts me a lot to imagine my life without you.”

Bonnie bit her lip, trying to stop herself from choking out a sob. No one had ever said that to her before. Hajime truly cared about her and had just admitted his fear of losing her. She reached over to grasp his hand. “I don’t want to lose you either, Hajime,” she mumbled. “Life won’t be the same when I go back to Ireland.”

“Why can’t you stay here forever?” he said stubbornly. “Why do you need to go back?”

“My mother’s job requires it.”

He frowned. “It’s not fair. I finally found someone that makes me happy. And she’ll be leaving me at the end of the school year.”

Bonnie let her arms wrap around him before pulling him into a hug. Mizuki held her back tightly. “I will call you and send you e-mail everyday,” she said.

“You promise?” he asked hopefully.

“Yes.”

The data collector smiled and kissed her lightly on the lips. “Thank you, Bonnie.”

“You’re welcome, Hajime.”

“You’re staying for a week?!” Skyler shrieked.

“Well you can’t expect ore-sama to spend just a few days here. We need to spend some quality time together,” Atobe replied with a grin.

“Keigo, you are absolutely ridiculous.”

“Is there a problem, Miss Hutchings?” one of the butlers asked. “I heard shouting.”

“Ah, no Charles. Sorry. Um, would you be able to set up the guest room? It appears Mr. Atobe will be spending a week with us.”

“Of course, ma’am.”

Skyler glared over at Atobe, who seemed extremely pleased with himself. “Keigo, please promise me that while you’re here you will behave yourself.”

He seemed offended. “Ore-sama always behaves himself.”

“And please stop speaking in Japanese to me. We’re in England. I know you can speak English as fluently as you can speak your native language.”

He frowned. “You don’t like it when I speak Japanese here, aa~?”

“No,” she replied flatly. “The people around you will be confused if you only speak Japanese.”

“But—”

“Atobe.”

He closed his mouth. She only called him by his last name when she was completely and utterly serious. Or when she was really angry and annoyed with him. He sighed and nodded his head. “Sorry,” he mumbled in English.

Skyler smiled and sat down beside him on the sofa. “See? Plus your accent is really cute,” she added. Atobe blushed.

“Sadaharu, why do you hide your eyes?”

Inui glanced up at Yasu before finishing writing in his data book. “There’s no particular reason,” he answered, tucking the book into his bag. “Why do you ask?”

“Well…your eyes are so beautiful,” she said, reaching up to remove his glasses. He didn’t stop her. He could still see fairly well without them. “I don’t understand why you try to be all mysterious and hide them.”

“Eyes are eyes. It doesn’t matter if I hide them or not.”

Yasu frowned. “So then why are you so hell-bent on making sure none of your team sees your eyes?” He shrugged. “You’re a troublesome man, Inui Sadaharu,” she sighed.

He smirked. “I am?”

“Yeah. And I don’t know why I like you so much.”

Blah, they're nothing spectacular. I personally really like the Eiji-Fuji scene ^-^ Eiji's such a cutie pie. I love how he calls Fuji "Fujiko" as like a pet name. I also felt the need to add the other Rikkaidai players into the story since I do like them as well. Niou is such a goober =P Though I'd probably be like him if I had a cute kouhai like Kirihara. Everytime I see Kirihara sad, I just wanna huggle him. He's so cute. Poor Yagyuu. He has to deal with a crazy doubles partner. Writing Akutsu is freakin' hard! At first it was easy, cuz I understand that his character was rude and pissy, but having that kind of character actually fall for someone is very difficult. I tried to keep him in character as best I could under the circumstances. Hopefully I pulled it off semi-okay and it's somewhat believable.

Dude, I realized that I know more Japanese than I do Spanish. And I took Spanish for 5 years!!!! But I've like forgotten everything I've learned...so now I'm like semi-fluent in Japanese. I know enough to understand when it's being spoken. I can't READ it obviously. I really wanna take the Japanese course at school, but a foreign language isn't required for my major...so yeah. Phooey. =( I guess watching all my anime in japanese now has helped me be able to translate most of what's being said, even without subs. Like, I watched the prince of tennis ova eps 8 thru 11 before 8 was subbed and I basically knew everything that was going on. I could grasp a few words and phrases and be able to know what was happening. It freaked me out O.o I was all: "holy shit! I understand!" I even translated some stuff for my bro when we watched the eps. That's hard. I could never be a translator. I used to think I'd like that job...heh...not anymore.

Oi, anyone going to Anime Boston this year? If so...um...maybe I'll see you? Heh. I just know we're staying at the Sheraton. So yeah. Anyway....it's late. I'm gettin' a little tired...I have class at 8 tomorrow...I'm gonna go now. Byes!

Tuesday, March 27, 2007

Blah. Another boring Tuesday. I skipped my design class again =P I didn't feel well and I just had no desire to go. Seriously, I had more fun in the student lounge just talking to this one guy about Bleach the whole time. We were like the only fans of Bleach there. We did talk about Naruto, but mostly Bleach. I drew a piccy of my fave Akatsuki members ^-^ Dei-chan, Itachi, Kakuzu, and Hidan. I need to add Tobi...cuz Tobi is just adorable. I drew some piccys of Sasuke too since I haven't drawn him in awhile. I've been neglecting my Sasu-chan, hehe. Bridget drew a cute chibi Lee in my sketchbook. Oh yeah, and I know what courses I'm gonna take next fall semester. My zoology professor is teaching this class called Vertebrate Fielf Biology and I guess for labs we go outside on campus on the nature trail and go look for and study animals. Sounds like fun and it's better than taking chemistry XD I also wanna take the Sex and Gender class...Bridget said they watched a film on vaginas! Dude, when will that opportunity ever arise again??? ^-^ I'm such a pervert. Blame my friends...I was not always such a pervert until I came to college. Erica has one of those "Just Wear It" condom stickers on her art box =P Rock on.

I am in the process of photoshoping this pic by pokefreak at deviantArt. He said people could color the lineart, so yeah. I just put the base colors on for now, but I'll eventually put in shadows and highlights and whatnot. Can't wait for Naruto Shippuden eps 6 and 7 this week! squee! I get to see Dei-chan again! I love Deidara so much now. He's just THAT awesome. Man, it's kinda late here. Okay, not really. It's almost 10 pm, but I have class at 10 tomorrow...so I don't have to get up too early.

I wrote a little more to my Atobe/OC fanfic. Nothing major, just a short scene. I really want to post my PoT fics at the PoT Dream Novel sites (google them if you're interested). The most popular ones I visit are Endless-Dreamers, Just Once, and Teniyume. There are other sites as well, but those are ones I highly recommend if you're interested in reading PoT fics that don't contain yaoi or shonenai. Not that I don't like that, it just gets tiring after awhile, you know? I want a change of pace. So I've kinda been debating with myself I should send some of my Prince of Tennis fics to the administrators at these sites. None of my stuff is done though...so I need to think up a good oneshot to send it or something. There can't be any graphic scenes which is a shame, because I love writing lemon scenes. Hot, steamy sex scenes are such a turn on to write =P

Anyway, I have several Dream Novels I want to read right now. So bye, peeps ^-^

Myspace can be a good thing sometimes. I joined way back before it got so popular. I just wanted a place where I could keep in contact with my friends that I didn't see all the time. The other day, this girl that I had been really good friends with in 5th grade found me on myspace and we were like: "OMG!!! I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN YEARS!" and blah blah blah. Cuz she went to a different school for 6th grade and I never saw her again. We never talked or anything. But we were really good friends. Like, I remember one time I was over her house and it had snowed and we decided to go sledding. So I went down first, but I forgot their was a building behind her house, so kinda...slammed into it =P Not fun, especially when I was flying downhill. I was like: "SHIIIIIT!" *BAM*

So yeah, she found me and told me what she's been up to. I guess she has a son now. And she's going for her GED and then she'll be attending the same college as me next semester hopefully. ^-^ Squee. Small world or what? I actually have been drawing some stuff. Nothing worth posting yet though. Mostly sketches. Oh yeah, and I apparently can't post the pictures I colored from jadeedge on here. >.< So I'll post them here in my post. Remember, the lineart is jadeedge's from deviantArt. I just colored the pics.

Sasuke -jadeedge lineart color by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART
mehehe, those boxers are smexy ^-^

Oh yeah, and I wasn't able to post this pic at my gallery here for some reason, so here's a pic I did of Ryoma Echizen and Sasuke Uchiha.

Ryoma and Sasuke by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART
Okay, if anyone has seen both Naruto and Prince of Tennis, maybe you'll understand why I drew this. Ryoma Echizen and Sasuke Uchiha are very much alike that it sometimes scares me. Obviously their voices aren't the same, but still. They're both twelve, moody, somewhat anti-social, cocky, are great at what they do (i.e. tennis, ninja skills), and have many fangirls where they go to school. Ironically, the two girls that like them the most are called Sakura and Sakuno. I drew Ryoma without his trademark baseball hat because...I hate drawing hats...plus he looks so much cuter without it =P I guess I should point out that Ryoma is also a LOT nicer than Sasuke, hehe.

Hidan...has a foul mouth by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART
mehehe...hidan! another pic of mine that was taken off theOtaku (probably because of Hidan's foul mouth). He's probably talking to Itachi or Kakuzu. =P

OMG!!! HAS ANYONE READ NARUTO CHAPTER 347 YET???!! I JUST read it and omg...I swear, I almost had a nosebleed! Sakura's a pervert! yay! She's a yaoi fangirl! ^-^ Omg...though...when Konohamaru did that sexy boy on boy jutsu...I swear to god, I never laughed so hard in my LIFE. Was Kishimoto-sensei TRYING to kill the yaoi fangirls??? Cuz he almost succeeded! He added so much fanservice in that one chapter! naked Suigetsu (who reminds me of Kisame, though much cuter), girl on girl jutsu by Konohamaru, and then the sexy Sasuke x Sai fanservice. mehehehe...if I didn't know any better I'd say Kishi was a pervert...>D

Sooooo... anyway, that's all for now peeps. Bye!

Dun dun dun! My bro's sick =( He got taken out of school yesterday cuz he's got something called Fifth's Disease =/ still not sure what it is, but he's got rashes on his face, arms, legs, and stomach...and today he's got a cold or whatever. Poor kid. I hope I don't get anything since I'm be staying home with him for the rest of the night O.o I was finally able to find a site where I can download PoT eps without using megaupload. They're in Real Player, but I don't mind. Squee! They download really fast too. =)

I was looking at the english lyrics to some of the PoT album songs and stuff, and omg, I love Oshitari so much. He's such a romantic at heart ^-^ Most of his songs are love songs of some sort. I want to write fanfics that somehow pertain to his songs =) Here are some of them, hehe:

TSUKIYO NO SHITA DE
Under The Moonlight

Just wait
The night only started

Under the street lamp that surrounded the darkness
My emotions and myself turn brilliant than the moon

Suspiciously, glowing, flaming up now
Reflecting your image against the moonlit night
I wanted to know more until I loved till it hurt
Shining, twinkling, the stars
Search for you

Until I am numb
I want to feel you more

Our warm breaths spread through the city
The light that scatters, illuminates the two

Suspiciously, glowing, flaming up now
The time I should pull the secret fang that hides within my heart
I questioned, is it now, until I loved till it hurt
The instant the scent of the moonlit night,
I overlapped it with you

Suspiciously, glowing, flaming up now
Reflecting your image against the moonlit night
I wanted to know more until I loved till it hurt
Shining, twinkling, the stars
Search for you

KUSEMONO
Trickster

With cold lips, I surround everything
The celebration that appears to be sensual within the quietness

Half-hearted replies that sounds as if you know things allows me to just go
Rather than words of love, I seek your truth, ah, I'm desiring

The sweet traps you mutter by my ear
My fragments of memories that shake with vibration; like the way you smile

Difficult desires, with my ah-un breath, would you like for me to show you?
My rising passion that I cannot hold back, ah, I'm drowing

The sliding dance that I thought I fulfilled, shall we dance again?
Rather than your words of love, I seek your value, ah, I question it

Half-hearted replies that sounds as if you know things allows me to just go
Rather than words of love, I seek your truth, ah, I'm desiring

HITOMI WO TOJITE
Close Your Eyes

I saw a colorless dream. Nothing, not even white or black.
In the midst of darkness, I hugged my knees

A stream of light that came in, I extended my hand and grabbed it
As if I were sucked in, being lead by it, I stood up

If being in love is a necessity in order to live
There should be no reason to shed a tear for fighting, perhaps

Collecting the shards of love, the crystal that shined
Close your eyes and let us learn the reason for being born now

There are times you question your reason for being
From many encounters, you will find the answer to that

Repeating many times, but growing strong by being hurt
It is an important process to learn the pain of people

If believing will make your heart stronger
Just a little, without hate, I will think of you, more

Everyone should be loved by another
Close your eyes, see, you are surrounded by kindness

Coincidences are inevitable, everything is according to the path you chose

If the time to part with your loved ones comes
Hold onto the times you spent within the flowing time that will never come again

Parting further. Getting closer.
Close your eyes, see, it will remain in your heart

I won't say good bye. We can see each other again soon.
Close your eyes, see, I'm always by your side

I'm always by your side

MEGANE WO HAZUSU YORU

The scent of the rain, the smoky tower
The same place as always, the afternoon of our rendezvous

Unexpectedly hanging in the air
The remains of that adult scent
Where was it brought in from?

Having lost everything I was going to say, I softly bit my lip.

Searching for a response, I merely hung my head
And you took off my glasses, that night

It wasn’t just to retain my calm
That I hid behind my lenses

I was scared of myself, who was never
Supposed to forgive their heart.

Just briefly, I will show you my true face.

Worn out and exhausted, I dozed off
And you took off my glasses, that night.

My feelings swell up inside
I curb them and turn my head
You are waving your hand goodbye

The tears streamed down my cheek
And you took off my glasses, that night.
My glasses, you took off that night.

(awwww! I love that song, especially with Tezuka and Inui singing backup ^-^ much love for the meganes!)

CRAFTY

Lining up a row of difficult logics
Even tens of times Kiss It's a lousy shot gun

Reading and collating the reverse side of the reverse Moving about the Labamba of veritable hell
That's right I have the game in my hands

There are no set up with these lenses
The sense is the pride Peculiar Flavour
Read the inside, read the next and snap it out
Yes that's right I'm a Crafty Boy

Almightily flexible Body Using it freely
Even hundreds of times Try It's hard even being a genius

A delayed attack and a voice of "You may go" Plunge into serious mode
Ah More, more far away

Yes or No unseen Fearless smile
No matter what difficulties Yes Mr. Poker-face
Read the inside, read the next and snap it out
Yes that's right I'm a Crafty Boy

There are no set up with these lenses
The sense is the pride Peculiar Flavour
Read the inside, read the next and snap it out
Yes that's right I'm a Crafty Boy

Yes or No unseen Fearless smile
No matter what difficulties Yes Mr. Poker-face
Read the inside, read the next and snap it out
Yes that's right I'm a Crafty Boy

(yes, we all know you're a "crafty boy", Oshitari. mehehe >D)

And now for one of my fave songs by Atobe, "October". His birthday song ^-^

OCTOBER

I look for the pleasure in another battle today
The days that keep on winning celebrate my existance

After the end of hot summer days and battles, a break is here
But before a sigh can be drawn, another game has already begun
And there's just no time to rest

It's the special day.
The day that everyone has to celebrate their birth
It's etched onto the heart
Testing my strength as I look to tomorrow
Birthday song to you

Even in face of the pressure of sudden death I'm calm
And people ask me why and how I can

The days end quickly now, and looking on the autumn sky
People that indulge themselves with sentimentality
I have no patience for, in this world of winners and losers

It's the special day.
The day that everyone has to celebrate their birth
Try yourself now
Come at me and watch as I touch tomorrow
Birthday song to you

It's the special day.
The day that everyone has to celebrate their birth
It's etched onto the heart
Testing my strength as I look to tomorrow
Birthday song to you
The day that everyone has to celebrate their birth
Try yourself now
Come at me and watch as I touch tomorrow
Birthday song to you

And that's all for now, peeps. Byes!

Dude, I don't have school on Friday O.o My art history teacher was like: "yeah, I thought you guys knew. The college is closed on Friday. So we don't have class." Woot woot! I don't know why the school's closed, but I'm happy ^-^ 3-day weekend, hehe. I'm going back to the chiropractor today...I really don't want my neck cracked again... =/ But it'll probably happen anyway...*shudder* Oh yeah, and I found out what that children's book is about that I'll be illustrating. It's a book mostly for ESL students I guess. My mom told me the basic plot. It's such a sad story =(

I decided to give myself some projects to work on since I haven't drawn much lately. I'm going to be drawing several Prince of Tennis pictures as a series. These are the ones I have planned so far.

Music group series:

3 Guava Trio - Jiroh Akutagawa, Bunta Marui, Kentarou Aoi (seriously the most random singing group EVER)

Aozu - Ryoma Echizen, Kunimitsu Tezuka, Syuusuke Fuji, and Syuichiroh Oishi (I LOVE them as a singing group ^-^)

Caps & Bin - Eiji Kikumaru, Sadaharu Inui, Kaoru Kaidoh, Takeshi Momoshiro, Takashi Kawamura

Pulltab to Kan - Keigo Atobe, Yuushi Oshitari, Genichirou Sanada, Kiyosumi Sengoku, Akira Kamio, Shinji Ibu, Akaya Kirihara (very random and yet sexiest singing group in PoT)

Birthdays:

October boys - Kunimitsu Tezuka (October 11), Keigo Atobe (October 4), Yuushi Oshitari (October 15)

May boys (woot! May love!) - Kaoru Kaidoh (May 11), Hajime Mizuki (May 27), Jiroh Akutagawa (May 5), Genichirou Sanada (May 21), Bunta Marui (May 20)

(I'm not sure if I'll do more of the birthday series, for now it's just those two ^-^)

Siblings:

Fuji brothers - Syuusuke and Yuuta

Kisarazu twins - Ryou and Atsushi

Tachibana sibs - Ann and Kippei

Data men:

Renji Yanagi
Sadaharu Inui
Hajime Mizuki

Buchous: (Yay for buchou love!)

Seigaku - Kunimitsu Tezuka

Hyotei - Keigo Atobe

Jyousei Shounan - Takahisa Kajimoto

Yamabuki - Kentarou Minami

St. Rudolph - Yoshiro Akazawa

Rokkaku - Kentarou Aoi

Rikkaidai - Seiichi Yukimura

Fudomine - Kippei Tachibana

Fukubuchous:

Seigaku - Syuichiroh Oishi

Hyotei - (I don't think it's ever been clarified that there IS a vice-captain for Hyotei, which only makes me respect Atobe even more. He's leading 200 + people in a tennis club by himself...that takes skill and charisma - obviously things he has ^-^)

Jyousei Shounan - not sure...I think it's that Wakato guy (i.e. Mister "CHANGE OVER" boy)

Yamabuki - Kiyosumi Sengoku

St. Rudolph - Hajime Mizuki (not totally sure on that...he's the manager of the team though)

Rokkaku - Koujiro Saeki

Rikkaidai - Genichirou Sanada

Fudomine - Akira Kamio

Doubles Pairs:

Golden Pair - Syuichirou Oishi & Eiji Kikumaru

Silver Pair - Ryou Shishido & Choutaro Ootori

Dirty Pair - Yuushi Oshitari & Gakuto Mukahi

Data Pair - Sadaharu Inui & Renji Yanagi

Tango Pair - Keigo Atobe & Genichirou Sanada

Kurobane Harukaze & Amane Hikaru Pair

Hiroshi Yagyuu & Masaharu Nioh Pair

Bunta Marui & Kuwahara Jackal Pair

Sadaharu Inui & Kaoru Kaidoh Pair

And I think those are all the doubles pairs worth mentioning ^-^ I love the Tango Pair...and of course the Dirty Pair (seriously, WHERE did that name come from??) So yeah...these are the project that I will devote myself to...at some point. Hopefully when the stress dies down from school I'll be able to find time. Hey, maybe when I'm in Disneyworld this summer I'll get inspiration? Who knows? So bye for now peeps! If I start ANY of these ambitious projects, I'll let people know =)

Dude, it's a freakin' blizzard here! Suddenly, we got snow starting at like 1 this afternoon. It's 7:10pm right now and it's still snowing! It's supposed to snow into Saturday too...apparently we're gonna get like 6 to 9 inches of snow O.o We're getting more snow in March than we got in the winter! Something seems weird about that. Why can't it ever snow when I have school??? grrrr

I can't download anything from megaupload now for some reason...everytime I try my comp is like: "error - connection with the server was reset" and I'm left to stare at the screen and curse the living day lights out of my computer >.< I don't know what happened. My comp is connected to the internet, so I dunno anymore. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong? I could download stuff from megaupload 2 weeks ago, but suddenly it won't let me. =(

oh yeah, and here's some more of what I've written to my new PoT ^-^ I skipped around, so it's not really connected to the first half that I already posted.

-----
***

“Gah. I hate Valentine’s,” Asami grumbled as she lugged her bag with her to school. She had to see the Hyotei Gakuen boys’ tennis team after school and she wasn’t looking forward to it. “Atobe’ll make a big deal about this.” When she walked into her classroom, several of her girl classmates noticed how unusually large her bag was.

“Eh? Sakaki-san, why is your bag so…big?”

“It’s got extra cargo today.”

“Extra…ooh, are those chocolates? Who are they for?”

Suddenly Asami was being asked hundreds of questions about who her crush was and whatnot. She snorted. “I don’t have a crush on anyone. My uncle said I just have to give these to the junior high’s tennis team since I help them out all the time and stuff.”

“Eh??? So you don’t like anyone?”

“No.”

“Are you sure?”

Asami glared at everyone. “Yes. Now shut up and leave me alone.”

***

“You’re late, you know.”

Asami would have smacked Atobe with her enormous backpack if she didn’t think she’d be accused of abuse and assault with a deadly weapon. She flung the bag onto the bleachers and winced as they creaked under the weight.

“What the hell do you have in there?” he continued. “Bricks?”

“Yeah, I just randomly carry around bricks from time to time,” she snapped sarcastically.

“Ore-sama is not laughing.”

“Good. Gather everyone up.”

“Why?”

“Are you questioning me, brat?”

“Che. Someone’s angry.”

Asami sighed as she dug around in her bag, feeling embarrassed and furious. “Okay guys…because I’m a nice person—” (Atobe turned his laugh into a cough) “—I got a little something for you all. Don’t take it personally or whatever.” She took out the wrapped packages and stared at the names she had scribbled on them. “Atobe.” She roughly handed him the package, to which he gaped at her and then proceeded to examine the gift. “Oshitari.” She threw the package to the tensai, who caught it effortlessly. “Shishido. Ootori. Hiyoshi. Mukahi. Jiroh. And Kabaji.” She zipped up her bag and smirked at the confused looks the boys were giving her. “Happy Valentine’s Day, or whatever. I’m sure you guys got plenty of other crap from your fans, but oh well. You don’t need to keep them if you don’t want to. They’re just little things I whipped up.”

She turned to leave and was nearly killed by the weight of Gakuto and Jiroh glomping her from behind. “ARIGATOU, ASAMI-CHAN!!!” they both cried.

“Gah!!! Get off me! I’m gonna die! And who said you could call me Asami-chan?” she grumbled. “Treat your senpai with respect!”

Gakuto and Jiroh backed off, grinning widely. The other regulars seemed amused, or embarrassed as they came closer to thank Asami. Atobe was still quiet and hadn’t said anything since she had given him his gift. “These must have taken awhile to make,” Oshitari commented.

“Eh, not really,” Asami shrugged. “But you guys are really the only boys I know well enough to actually give valentine stuff to…so yeah. My uncle actually gave me the idea,” she added sheepishly.

“Looks like your White Day this year will be overflowing with gratitude,” the tensai smirked.

“Huh?”

“I’m sure everyone here will be getting you something for White Day next month.”

Asami raised her eyebrows. “You guys don’t have to do that. You probably get thousands of chocolates and stuff from all your fans anyway. You don’t need to get me anything.”

“Oshitari is right,” Atobe spoke up. Everyone turned to look at him. “We’re all going to have to do something for you on White Day.”

“Are you serious?” she groaned. “C’mon, it’s just chocolates and stuff. It’s not like I gave you guys priceless treasures.”

Atobe smirked. “Are you actually trying to be modest, Sakaki?”

“What’s wrong with that?” she said defensively. “Anyway, why are we still talking, let’s get to practicing!”

“No.”

“Excuse me?”

Atobe flicked his hair. “I’m declaring a day off.”

“Oh really? That’s nice. Too bad that I’m the one in charge of your practices.”

“Kabaji.”

“Ossu.”

Asami felt herself being picked up by the giant 2nd year and yelped. “Hey! Put me down! Kabaji, I gave you chocolates! C’mon! Atobe, tell him to put me down already! Please!”

Atobe snapped his fingers and watched as Kabaji dropped Asami onto the tennis court. He then gracefully walked down the bleachers and grabbed his racket. “You and I are going to play a match,” he stated.

Asami laughed. “Seriously? You want me to play against you?”

“Ore-sama is always serious.”

“Heh. Oshitari, hand me a racket, will ya?” She gave it a few practice swings. “I learned from my uncle, just so you know. I won’t go easy on you, just ‘cause you’re in junior high.”

“Ore-sama hates when people go easy anyway,” he replied airily. “Play at your full strength.”

“I plan to. Don’t cry when I beat you though.”

Atobe smiled. “Ore-sama doesn’t cry.”

“Good.”

The match started with Asami winning. Everyone had to admit she was very talented. But Atobe caught up and had even performed his Hametsu e no Rondo on her. Asami had been deeply impressed. It was a close match, with Asami leading 6-5. They had both decided there would be no tie-breaks in the event of a tie. Atobe smashed the tennis ball onto Asami’s side of the court and smiled.

“6 games all!” Oshitari called. “Tie!”

“That was fun,” Asami panted as she and Atobe walked towards the net. “I haven’t played that seriously against someone in a long time.”

“Ore-sama is glad to have proven to be a worthy opponent,” he replied.

“That was AWESOME, Asami-chan!” Jiroh shouted happily. “I didn’t know you were that good!”

She shrugged. “I’ve been playing since I could first hold a racket.” She went to grab a water bottle. She took a long drink and blinked as all the regulars crowded around her. “Can I help you?”

“We were hoping you could treat us somewhere today, Asami-san,” Ootori said smiling.

“Treat you where? I don’t exactly know my way around Tokyo that well.”

“Well…we talked it over and Atobe-san agreed. We’d like for you to take us to the amusement park.”

“Eh??? All of you?”

“If it’s all right.”

Asami sighed and watched the expectant (well, mostly Ootori, Gakuto, and Jiroh) faces of the boys. “Ah what the hell,” she sighed. “You guys are gonna change first, right? We can all meet at the entrance to the park in an hour, okay? Bring money if you want stuff, ‘cause I’m not wasting my cash.”

“Mou, Asami-chan,” Gakuto pouted. “You said you’d treat us.”

“Yeah, I said I’d bring you to the amusement park; I didn’t say I’d spend my money for you.” Gakuto, Jiroh, and Ootori frowned sadly. “I’m not your babysitter.”

“Don’t worry about the money, Sakaki. I will pay for the expenses,” Atobe said.

“You sure about that?”

“Yes.”

“Well…okay. I guess I’ll see you guys later.” She grabbed her bag and left.

Oshitari gave a deep sigh. “A shame she’s older than us, isn’t it?” he said dramatically.

Atobe looked at him. “Aa~? What are you implying?”

“Nothing, Atobe. Absolutely nothing.”

The other boy raised an eyebrow. “You’re lying, Oshitari.”

He smirked. “Yes I am.”

“You will tell Ore-sama what you meant later.”

“That all depends.”

***

“You’re taking them to the amusement park?” Asami’s uncle said. It was the first time she had really heard him shocked.

“Yeah, I guess even Atobe agreed,” Asami shrugged. “I promise to not keep them out past 10,” she added with a grin.

***

“I don’t know what you guys wanna do first,” Asami grumbled. “I don’t really wanna split up.”

“Afraid you might lose us?” Oshitari smirked.

“No.” There was pink on her cheeks that she was thankful no one had seen. “Okay, someone choose a ride.”

“Love Tunnel!” Jiroh cried.

Everyone stared at him. “But there’s only one girl, Jiroh,” Shishido pointed out.

“Well, we could all take turns,” he supplied.

Asami blinked. “You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

“It is Valentine’s Day, Asami-chan,” Gakuto said grinning.

“So?” Five minutes later found Asami in line for the ride with Jiroh first, since he had been the one to mention it. “I can’t believe I’m actually gonna ride this thing,” she muttered.

“This is gonna be GREAT!” Jiroh cheered. “I bet you guys wanted to be first!” he called to the others.

It was a good thing Asami couldn’t see their faces turn red. Atobe and Oshitari were the only two that didn’t seem to mind all that much. “Jiroh had an interesting idea,” Oshitari mumbled.

Atobe crossed his arms over his chest in annoyance. “Agreeing to come here was a mistake.”

“Why is that, Atobe? Afraid to be alone with Asami-han?”

The other boy glared at him. “Ore-sama is not afraid of anything.”

“Whatever you say.”

***

Inside the tunnel

“Ne, Jiroh, why’d you suggest this ride?” Asami asked as the ride progressed.

He yawned before answering, “Because it’s what everyone wanted. They were all just too shy to say anything.”

“Why would they want this?”

“You don’t know, Asami-chan?”

She shook her head. Jiroh leaned closer and whispered in her ear, “We like you.” He then rested his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. “You don’t mind if I take a short nap on you, do you?”

“I…what?” Asami didn’t want to believe what she had just heard. The regulars liked her? She was glad it was dark in the ride. No one could see her face turning red. Once the ride was over, she nudged Jiroh awake and got off the ride, feeling very nervous. When she went to the see who her next riding partner would be, she couldn’t stop the strange butterfly feelings from coming into her chest. “So…who’s next?” she asked.

“Me!” Gakuto said happily. He latched onto her arm, making her cheeks burn furiously.

This is stupid! she thought. They’re younger than me! I’ve never had this sort of reaction around them before and suddenly I’m a blushing fangirl?! Jeez! Get it together, Sakaki Asami!

The ride with Gakuto was somewhat nerve-wracking as well. He was as hyper as usual, but as soon as the lights dimmed and they were really alone, he seemed to move a bit closer to her. Asami gulped. “Ne, Asami-chan?” he mumbled.

“Y-Yeah?”

“Do you like us?”

“Uh…eh…”

“Asami-chan?”

“I…do. I guess I do like you guys. You’ve grown on me a lot.”

She was sure the acrobatic red-head was smiling. “Good. ‘Cause you know…we like you too.”

Again with the confession?! COME.ON! You guys are making me blush like crazy! Asami was sure she would have fainted when just before the ride finished, Gakuto leaned over and kissed her cheek. She was sure her face was as red as his hair. Ootori volunteered to go with her next. She was glad, because he was the gentleman on the team and the sweetest boy she knew. She knew he wouldn’t try anything suspicious.

“I’m really glad you agreed to come on this ride, Asami-san,” he said softly as they went through the tunnel.

“Why is that, Ootori-kun?”

“Well…” She could see he was nervous. “…I was worried I’d never be able to go on this ride with the person I liked.”

For godssake! she shouted in her brain. Stop with the confessions! I get it! The regulars like me! “That’s…good.” What else am I supposed to say?

“I’m sorry, Asami-san. Have I made you uncomfortable?”

“No, not at all.” Yes, you have. And it’s only going to get worse, I just know it.

Once that ride was over with, Asami glanced around to see who her next riding partner would be. Atobe and Oshitari were talking to each other in low voices, so she assumed they didn’t want to ride yet. That left Hiyoshi and Shishido since she had heard that Kabaji wouldn’t be participating. Both boys looked at each other uncertainly, before Shishido pushed Hiyoshi forward.

“Shishido-senpai!” he growled, face bright red. He glanced up at Asami and quickly looked away. “L-Let’s just get on the stupid ride.” Asami nodded and felt somewhat more relaxed. She didn’t think she had to worry about a confession from Hiyoshi Wakashi. Boy was she wrong.

Halfway through the ride, after being quiet through the whole first half, Asami felt the 2nd year’s gaze on her and turned to look at him. The lights hadn’t dimmed yet, so she could see the small patches of pink on his cheeks. Oh no, she thought miserably. Not you too, Hiyoshi!

“Asami-san,” he mumbled.

“Yeah?” she replied nervously.

“I…um…” Apparently he was so nervous that he couldn’t even form the words. Poor kid. Asami felt a bit sad for him and placed a hand on his. That caused Hiyoshi to glance at her with wide eyes.

“It’s okay, Hiyoshi-kun. I kinda…know what you wanna say.” She had a particular soft spot for the kid, since he was very underappreciated by the other regulars. So, gathering up her dignity, she leaned over and kissed his cheek. If it was possible, his face turned a darker shade of red. By the end of the ride, she was afraid he would faint from shock.

Shishido came with her next, digging his hands into his pockets and trying to look all cool and badass. Asami saw through it. He put on a cold front, but she could tell he was just as nervous as Hiyoshi had been. “You’re supposed to take your hat off in here,” she muttered to him as they sat down in the ride.

“Whatever,” he said. “Aren’t the ride operators curious about why you keep coming back?”

“Yeah. I’m sure they’re sick of seeing me,” she chuckled. “I have to say, today was my first time actually on this ride. I never thought I’d be caught dead on it.”

“Same here.” He caught her eye and quickly turned away. “I-I mean, I didn’t really have a reason to come on this ride.”

Asami bit her lip. “And now?”

“Well I’m on it now, aren’t I?”

In Shishido language, that means he likes me. The rest of the ride was silent. Asami half-expected the brunette to do something other than frowning and trying to appear as if he didn’t like her at all. By the time the ride was over, Shishido had put his hat back on and was grabbing her hand with his own. Asami glanced down at their hands curiously.

Oshitari smirked when he saw Shishido and Asami come off the ride. “Look, Atobe. Shishido is blushing. That is so cute.”

“Shut up, Oshitari,” the diva snapped.

“Oh? Jealous?” Atobe glared at him. “Looks like it’s my turn now.” The tensai sauntered up to Asami. “Ready to go, Asami-han?” he said with a small bow.

She quirked a brow. “Are you always so gentlemanly, Oshitari?”

“I try to be.”

Asami really wasn’t sure what do when she and Oshitari sat down on the ride. He was a known womanizer in his school and she knew he had some weird fetish for legs. She visibly shuddered at that. She felt his arm wrap around her shoulders and she stiffened.

“Sorry. Do you not want me to do that?” he said.

“N-No, it’s fine.” She could feel her cheeks heating up. Deciding to make some sort of conversation, she mumbled, “So…are you farsighted or nearsighted?”

“Hmm?”

“Your glasses…”

“Oh.” He chuckled. “Actually, I have 20/20 vision. I just wear these for…aesthetic reasons.”

Asami blinked. He didn’t need glasses? He just wore them…to look cool? “You’re a strange guy, Oshitari.”

“Perhaps.”

She could feel his attention turn towards her legs, which were covered by her long shorts. “Stop trying to ogle my legs,” she growled.

“Just one peek?” he said innocently.

“You’re a pervert.”

There was a long pause. “I’m sure everyone else has said the same thing…so I won’t repeat them.”

“Oshitari?”

He leaned closer and very gently brushed his lips against hers. Asami felt her breath hitch in her throat. He pulled back with a smirk. “I’ve wanted to do that for while now,” he admitted.

Asami thought for sure her head would explode from all the blood rushing to it at that moment. She couldn’t form any sort of coherent sentence. When the ride finished, she let the navy-haired boy lead her out of the tunnel before bringing her face-to-face with Atobe Keigo.

“Let’s get this over with,” the dark-haired diva snapped. Asami mirrored his feelings. She didn’t want to be alone with him. They sat down opposite each other on the ride and stared off in different directions. Atobe was actually the first to break the silence. “So what did Oshitari do to you?”

“What?”

“You were like a zombie when you came outside. What did he do?”

She shrugged. “He kissed me.”

She wasn’t positive, but Atobe actually looked…angry about that. “Where?” he grumbled.

“Right here.” She pointed to her lips and inwardly grinned. Atobe’s blue eyes widened. “Why do you care?”

“I don’t,” he said coolly. “He just needs to learn to keep his lips to himself.”

Asami smiled. “Aww, worried about me, Atobe?”

“No.” The lights dimmed suddenly. “Your tennis style is very good,” she heard him mumble.

“Thanks,” she replied, feeling her cheeks heat up slightly. He couldn’t see her blush, so she didn’t try to hide it.

“I…also tried one of the chocolates you made when I went home earlier.”

“And?”

“It was…exquisite.”

“Exquisite? That’s an interesting way to describe it.”

“It’s the truth,” he added softly. Asami didn’t know why they were talking and NOT arguing for once. The ride was coming to an end. Asami felt Atobe shift closer to her for some reason. “Sakaki…” he started.

“What?”

“Can you see me?”

“Not really. It’s too dark. Why?”

She was given no warning as she felt warm lips press to hers. Her eyes widened as she felt Atobe’s weight on her. He pressed her against the side of the ride, kissing her gently. His hands held her face and touched her hair. Asami didn’t know what to do. Atobe had continually said he hated her and she him. Now he was kissing her? She didn’t have experience with kissing, but she could tell that he was very good. He let out a very soft moan as he pulled away, breathing deeply.

“What the hell was that about?” she asked, touching her lips.

“Wasn’t it obvious, aa~?” he drawled. He leaned in again and started kissing at her neck. “Ore-sama has never wanted someone so desperately as he does now,” he whispered against her ear.

“Atobe, we’re on a ride. And it’s about to end.”

“It doesn’t matter.” He started to nip at her ear lovingly. Asami felt tingles running all along her body. She gently pushed him away.

“It does. We can talk about this later. Right now, would you please get off me?”

He sighed heavily before sitting beside her. “I’m not such a kid now, aa~?” he smiled.

Asami gave him an annoyed look. “No, you’re still a kid. A kid that can kiss really well though.”

He seemed somewhat satisfied. “Ore-sama has never kissed anyone before.”

“Really? So I should feel honored?”

The lights turned back on at that time. Atobe was smirking at her. She saw that his cheeks were slightly pink and felt a sense of immense pride all of a sudden. I caused the great Atobe Keigo to blush, she thought grinning. Man, so many girls would KILL to be in my place right now.

“You should,” he said, answering her previous question.

The ride stopped and the two stood up to leave. “All right then,” she replied with a shrug. She smiled and leaned forward to kiss his cheek. Atobe’s cheeks burned furiously, but he tried to hide it. They left the ride, making everyone else curious to know what happened while inside the tunnel. Oshitari gave Atobe a calculating look as the diva walked towards him, desperately trying to hide his blush.

Something happened in there, he thought with a knowing look. I doubt either of them will speak about it though.

“So what do you guys wanna do next?” Asami asked, cutting into his thoughts.

“ROLLAR COASTER!” Gakuto and Jiroh shouted in unison, to which the others groaned.

------
And that's all I've got for now. I still don't have any definite couples. Right now, it can be anyone of the Hyotei boys, minus Kabaji =P Hehe, it makes me laugh how well my brother knows me. I was rewatching some PoT episodes and mentioned that I wanted to download my fave eps and he was like: "wait, let me guess what they are. I don't know the exact numbers though." me: "which eps?" "All the episodes with Atobe." "Hehe, yep. You know me so well! ^-^"

I'm trying to think up a good White Day scene for Asami and the Hyotei boys...maybe Atobe holds a ball at his mansion and all the boys dance with her or something. I made a doll at dollwizard of Asami in casual wear and a dress (she's not happy about that =P)

I love reading about the little quirks or hobbies about the PoT boys...like Oshitari's love for romance movies...and the fact that he has perfect vision but he wears glasses just to look cool. Also that he likes girls with nice legs...that one gets me everytime.

So um...bye I guess. I got nuthin' else to say.

Mehehe, I finally got my hair cut today. Now it's all cool and angled and not as long anymore. Oh yeah, I found a survey thingy...kinda 'stole' it from my friend PropertyoftheUchiha at deviantArt =P

----
1. Do you like animals?
Yes...particularly foxes and snow leopards...and snakes...

2. Have you ever met an online friend in person?
Um...gee...have I? I don't think so...one of my online friends lives in the same state though and I think we're both gonna try and meet at Anime Boston this year *crosses fingers*

3.Are you athletic?
I used to be...like in the 5th grade. Not anymore though =P

4. Are you: thin, fat, athletically built etc:
I'm average build I guess...not thin, not fat, not athletic.

5. How much do you weigh?
>.< what a rude question

6. What's your height?
5'3'' *cries* I will forever remain this height!

7. Shoe size?
depends on the shoe...sometimes I'm a 9, 9 1/2, or 10

8. Girls - are you tomboyish, girly, normal, etc?
I guess I'm kinda normal. I hate girly clothes, but I wear girl jeans and SOMETIMES girly shirts. All my t-shirts have some sort of picture and/or anime/band name on them. Most are black. I wear sneakers a lot. I love my hoodies.

10. How old are you?
- 18, turning 19 in May

11. When is your birthday?
may 14 ^-^

12. Do you like to receive giftart?
duh

13. Are you sociable?
Not...really. I actually really don't like talking to people since most people talk TOO much, ya know? But for the people I do talk to...I'm a regular chatter box =P

14. Do you have many friends?
I guess so, yeah.

15. What's your race?
French Canadian and Russian Jewish, with small bits of Native American and Scottish in me...

16. Do you like to talk on the phone?
I have a phobia of the phone that my dad likes to continually make fun of me for. =(

Single, unfortunately. =(

18. Do you eat meat?
Yep. I may love animals, but I don't know what'd I do if I couldn't eat meat

19. Are you paranoid?
Eh...about bugs mostly. Like, I might see a piece of a lint and think it's a spider or fly or whatever. Then I scream and like freak out.

20. Do you read a lot?
I love to read. Novels, fanfiction...you name it.

21. Do you listen to music, what kind?
I like too much music. I have no specifics really. Anything with a good beat I like. I like techno/dance/trance and j-rock/j-pop a lot though.

22. Do you play any instruments?
No...I always wanted to try the piano...but I never did

23. How long have you been drawing?
wow...since I learned how to hold a pencil? granted I wasn't any good at 5 or 6, but I was better than most kids my age =P

24. What's the meaning of life?
Oooh, deep question. Well, I'm not really into philosophy or anything and I've exactly dwelled on this question before. I just live my life day-to-day. I take what happens and deal with it, be it good or bad. I was all depressed when I was 16 and really wanted to kill myself. Now I realize what a complete idiot I was for thinking thoughts like that. I have so much in my life worth living for, so I'm not about to waste it by committing suicide. Life is something precious. Time is short and I don't want to waste it.

Oh yeah, I also wrote more to my new PoT fic. It's now 21 pages! I kinda skipped times, but it's cute and funny. Bye for now peeps!

Eiji seemed happier than usual the next day. Oishi knew his friend and doubles partner could be eccentric and hyper, but this was ridiculous. Maybe it would have been better for Shiori to come to Seigaku High School. At least then, Eiji would have someone else to keep him in line. There was only so much Oishi could do.

“Eiji, you’re attracting a lot of attention,” he said nervously, watching the faces of their fellow classmates.

“Hoi! Hoi! Nya!” the red-head cried. “But I’m soooo happy, Oishi! Do you know why, nya?”

“Something good happened…?”

“Yep! But not just anything, Oishi! Guess!”

“Eiji…”

“C’mon, nya!”

“Um…you saw Shiori-chan?”

“Hai!” If the grin on his face was any indication, something really good must have happened between him and Shiori. “And you’ll never guess what we did.”

Oishi’s green eyes widened a fraction. “Wait…Eiji, you’re not saying you…and Shiori-chan…you didn’t…did you?”

“Nya? We didn’t what, Oishi?”

No…he’s too innocent to really understand that, Oishi thought. And I don’t think Shiori-chan would force him or anything. At least…I hope not. “N-Nothing. Forget I mentioned it.”

Eiji blinked. “Okay. Nya, it felt so good!”

Oishi gulped. “It…did?”

“Hai! Shiori-chan is the best!”

He was sweating like crazy now. Just what had Shiori done to make Eiji so happy? “T-The best at what?” he asked gently.

Eiji merely smiled and shook his head. “I’m sure Tonya-chan would do the same for you if you just asked her, Oishi.”

“B-But—”

“Bye-bye, Oishi! Shiori-chan is waiting for me!”

With that, the red-head was gone in a flash.

Skyler had known Atobe most of her life. She was used to his dramatics and other strange behavior. He had many moods, depending on what was going on around him. He could be generous, friendly, sad, obsessed, determined, angry, and self-centered. However, to see him giving her this depressed pout as he sat in a corner of the spacious living room was driving her crazy.

“Keigo, you realize England is my home, right?” she said calmly.

“Yeah,” he mumbled, hugging his knees closer to his chest.

“I can’t stay in Japan forever. This was just for this school year.”

“I know.”

“So then why, when I said I’ll be going back to England, did you get so depressed?”

He turned to face her, frowning. Skyler wanted to punch and hug him at the same time. “Ore-sama doesn’t want you to go,” he said stubbornly.

“You’re such a spoiled brat, Keigo,” she sighed.

“No I’m not,” he grumbled.

“Who knew that under all that over-confidence would be a shy little boy?”

His eyes narrowed. “Stop making fun of ore-sama.”

“Well if ‘ore-sama’ stopped being all emo, I’d stop making fun of him.”

He looked appalled. “Ore-sama is not being emo.”

“Well you’re pretty damn close.” She rolled her eyes and sat next to him. “You can come visit me in London.”

“I don’t want to.”

“But it’s a beautiful city.”

“I don’t care.”

“Keigo, you’re being an idiot.”

He glared at her. “You probably have some English boyfriend waiting for you back there, don’t you?”

Skyler smiled. “Is that what this is about? Are you jealous I might meet someone in England?”

He avoided her gaze. “You haven’t then?”

“No. You’re my only guy friend, Keigo. And you’re my only boyfriend.” She blushed slightly. “I like you and only you.”

Atobe felt his cheeks heat up. “O-Ore-sama is glad for that.”

“Good.” She wrapped her arm around his shoulders and leaned against him. “I don’t leave for another few weeks. Let’s make the most of it, shall we?”

He nodded and wrapped his arm around her. “Ore-sama will do whatever you want, Skyler.”

“Thanks.”

Hitomi couldn’t look her cousin in the face the next day. She was so embarrassed! She had let him kiss her! But…then again, he had been the one to start it. Shouldn’t he feel ashamed as well? When she saw Yuushi at school, he greeted her like always, as if nothing had happened the day before.

I’m going to give myself a stroke if I keep stressing like this, she thought frantically. I should just ask him about it later. During the lunch break, she hoped to get him by himself. “Yuushi,” she said softly. “Can we go talk privately somewhere?”

“Of course, Hitomi.” He followed her into an empty classroom. “What is it?”

Her eyes were narrowed. “You know what. Why did you do it?”

He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. “I really don’t know. It just happened.”

“Yuushi…”

“Are you angry with me?”

“Of course I am!” she hissed. “You can’t go around doing that! It’s sick!”

“I know,” he mumbled. “But…” He reached a hand out to brush her hair out of her eyes. “…I care about you very much, Hitomi.”

Hitomi stared into his dark eyes, wondering why her cousin was so attractive. Red tinted her cheeks. She did NOT have a crush on him. She couldn’t! Yuushi smiled at her sadly before turning away. What the—that’s it? That’s all he’s gonna say after he KISSED me? she thought incredulously. She bit her lip. “Yuushi,” she said softly.

He looked over his shoulder. “What?”

She walked up to him and stared at him for a long time, telling herself it wasn’t right. So what if he was gorgeous and sweet and cared about her? He was her cousin. Still…they were only second cousins. It wasn’t really considered incest then, was it? Hitomi reached a hand up to touch his cheek. He closed his eyes as though savoring her touch. Finally, all rational thought left her when she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. Yuushi stumbled back in surprise. Her mouth was tentative against his and he smiled. He kissed her back, letting his hands fall to her waist.

They both knew it was against school rules to be doing what they were, but neither of them cared at the moment. Hitomi felt tears falling down her cheeks and pulled away, blushing. Yuushi wiped her tears away with his thumb. “Have I hurt you that much, Hitomi?” he asked.

“No. You could never hurt me, Yuushi,” she replied. “I’m just happy.”

He smiled lovingly at her. “Good. I am as well.”

Yuuta wasn’t sure WHY he had agreed to go shopping with Bonnie. He was even more curious as to why she had even asked him to accompany her in the first place. Why couldn’t Mizuki go? Wasn’t HE her boyfriend? Wasn’t HE obligated to go shopping with her? “Bonnie-chan,” he said after they had browsed through several stores, “why did you invite me to come along? I mean, why not ask Mizuki-san?”

She turned to smile at him. “If he came it would ruin the surprise.”

“Surprise?”

“It’s his birthday this weekend. I want to get him something special.”

Yuuta blinked. “And you brought me…why?”

“Because you’re a boy and you’ve been around Hajime long enough to know what he likes.”

He hung his head. “I’m really bad at picking out gifts though, Bonnie-chan.”

“Just think about what he likes.”

“Um…” What DID Mizuki like? He was a data-collector, like Seigaku’s Inui; He was a gossiper; He wore clothes that would make people question his sexuality… “Maybe…some clothes?”

“Hajime’s got tons of clothes. Actually, I think he’s got more than I do.”

Yuuta face-faulted. He didn’t need to know that. “Okay…so…um…”

“Maybe I don’t need to buy him anything.”

Yes! Oh my god, you read my mind, Bonnie-chan! he thought happily. He wanted to get out of the mall and fast while he still had some dignity left. “I’m sure Mizuki-san will like whatever you do for him,” he supplied, inwardly grinning like a madman.

“I guess. Well, thanks for coming with me, Yuuta. I know it probably wasn’t all that exciting for you and I’m sorry.”

He blushed slightly. “No, it’s okay, Bonnie-chan.”

“Yuuta!” he heard a familiar voice call. The younger Fuji groaned and counted to ten in his head. “I didn’t know you’d be here.” He turned around and came face to face with his smiling brother.

“Hello, aniki,” he said grumpily.

“Hi Syuusuke,” Bonnie greeted. “Nice seeing you here. Oh, is this your girlfriend?” She smiled warmly at the black-haired girl who was holding the prodigy’s hand.

“Hai, this is Sapphire Tsukino,” he replied. “Sapphire, this is Bonnie Adams, one of Yuuta’s friends.”

“Nice to meet you,” the two girls said at once.

“So what brings you and Yuuta to the mall, Bonnie-san?” Fuji asked.

“I was trying to find something for Hajime’s birthday this coming weekend, but I’m out of luck.”

“Who?”

“Mizuki-san, aniki,” Yuuta mumbled. “You played him once.”

“Hmm, I don’t recall.”

“In other words, he’s blocked it out,” Sapphire stated.

“Well, I’ll see you later, Yuuta,” Bonnie said walking away.

“Wait, where are you going?”

“To figure out what I can do for Hajime. You hang out with your brother. See ya!”

Yuuta stared after her with his mouth hanging open. She…She abandoned me. She left me with aniki and his girlfriend.

“Yuuta, you wouldn’t mind going shopping with us, would you?” Syuusuke asked casually.

Yuuta felt his whole world crumble beneath him.

Takara didn’t know why she hadn’t waited for Akutsu to come pick her up at her house. Maybe she wanted to prove to herself that she wasn’t completely useless. But if she hadn’t left, then she wouldn’t have been in the dilemma she was in now. She had passed by a few tennis courts (she could tell by the sound of the ball being hit back and forth) and had bumped into one of the players accidentally.

This then resulted in her getting pushed to the ground and having her walking stick taken from her. “Who uses a walking stick, honestly?” a boy sneered.

“Please…give it back,” Takara pleaded. “I need it.”

“What for? You just want people to pity you!”

“No, I—”

She heard something snap and she felt tears come to her eyes. The boy threw what was left of her walking stick at her feet. “Man, what a wimp!” he crowed. Takara felt truly helpless at that moment, wanting to crawl under a rock and die. Her shoulders shook as she tried to hold in her tears. “Heads up, girly! It’s not my fault if you don’t dodge this!”

Takara raised her head slightly, just in time to get hit by the oncoming tennis ball. It hit her left shoulder. The redhead bit her lip as she held in her cry of pain. Why is this happening? she thought. All I did was bump into him…

“Here I go!”

She braced herself for another hit. This time it bounced in front of her and grazed the side of her cheek. The boy was laughing. She heard him prepare to serve another ball at her. Just as it was nearing her head, someone stepped in front of her and blocked it. Takara took a few deep breaths to calm herself.

“What the hell are you doing?”

Takara felt tears of relief fall down her face. “Akutsu-san,” she whispered.

He knelt down in front of her. “Why didn’t you wait for me, idiot?” he growled. She shook her head. “Whatever. What’d you do to piss this brat off?”

“I…I bumped into him. He broke my walking stick.” She was glad she couldn’t see his face for once. She could feel the anger radiating off him.

“Is that so?” he hissed. He stood up and called, “Oi! Wanna play?”

“A-Akutsu-san, I thought you said you hated tennis,” Takara mumbled.

“I do,” he replied. “But that doesn’t mean I can’t kick this kid’s ass in a match.”

“You’re pretty cocky,” the other boy answered. “Why defend someone like her? She’s so useless.”

“You’re a waste of oxygen,” Akutsu spat. “Shut the hell up and serve the ball. Or are you afraid?”

“Yeah, you talk big. Let’s see you back it up.” Takara got to her feet quickly and rushed off the court. She wished she could see the match. The people around her kept complimenting Akutsu’s playing style and saying how amazing he was. The match ended within ten minutes, with Akutsu the victor.

“How bad are you hurt?” he asked after coming over to her.

“Just a few bruises. Nothing serious.”

“If you had waited for me at your house, none of this would have happened.”

She hung her head sadly. “I know. I’m sorry, Akutsu-san.”

“Let me bring you home.”

“But—”

“We can eat lunch together another time. Right now you need medical attention.”

“Thank you, Akutsu-san.”

He snorted as he helped her to her feet. “What are you thanking me for? I did what I had to.”

Takara would never admit it out loud, but inside she was jumping for joy. Akutsu did care for her, though he had a strange way of showing it.

Skyler had been preparing to go out with some friends when the butler came up to her room and said, “There’s a call for you, miss.”

“A call? From who?”

“From a Mister Keigo Atobe, miss.”

Skyler rolled her eyes as she took the phone from him. “Hello?”

“Is that all ore-sama gets for a greeting, aa? This phone call isn’t cheap, you know.”

“Keigo, isn’t it really late where you are?”

“Time doesn’t matter when I’m talking to you.”

“Okay, excuse me while I go vomit.”

She could just picture the angry scowl on Atobe’s face. “You’re making me regret calling you, Skyler,” he snarled.

“I’m sorry, Keigo. I know you mean well.”

He sighed heavily on the other end. “So what are you doing?”

“Well, me and a couple friends were gonna go hang out. I spent all my time with you back in Japan. I need to mingle with some girls now.”

“Are you saying their company is better than ore-sama’s, aa?”

“No, they can never compare to you.” And that was the truth. NO ONE could ever compare to Atobe.

“Good.” There was a long pause, in which Skyler thought perhaps he had hung up by accident. “Ore-sama…really misses you,” he mumbled.

Skyler smiled and replied, “I miss you too, Keigo.”

Tezuka strangely liked the idea of having a secret relationship with Alana. It was dangerous and risky, but he was willing to take some risks. Perhaps the most amusing part of their agreement, was the fact that since nobody knew they were seeing each other, his fanclub would find and talk to him at the worst times. He could see Alana seething from where she sat when the fanclub girls tried offering him their lunches.

If he was the type of person who smirked at other’s misfortune, he would have given Alana the biggest smirk he could muster. However, since he was Kunimitsu Tezuka, Seigaku’s expressionless captain, he didn’t smirk. No, he just ignored the girls and stared at Alana, silently wishing for class to end so that he could take her into an empty classroom and…

“Tezuka-sama,” one of the girls interrupted his happy thought.

He fixed her with a cold glare. “What?”

“Ano…would you like to have lunch together?” Apparently the lunch bell had chimed.

Tezuka continued to glare at her. Were these girls that stupid? He told them no everyday and yet they still asked him. Alana looked ready to pounce. The corner of his lips lifted slightly. “No,” he replied. “Wilson-san, would you walk with me? There’s something I need to discuss with you.”

Alana tried to hide her grin of satisfaction as she stood up. “Sure, Tezuka.” They left the classroom together, waiting until they were far enough away before Alana threw her arms around his neck and kissed him hungrily. “I would have murdered those girls if you hadn’t called me out here,” she said as he leaned down to kiss her neck.

“I wouldn’t have been able to get you out of trouble if you did that,” he answered, letting his hands roam up and down her thighs.

“Who cares? It would have been worth it.”

Akaya Kirihara had never once been happy about summer vacation ending. But as he counted down the days for when Chris would return to Japan, he became more excited with each passing day. When it was the day for her to come back, he made sure to buy some flowers on his way to the airport. He waited in the lobby for about a half hour. Then a voice over the speakers said that the flight from Boston was just coming in.

The black-haired boy smiled eagerly. He spotted Chris’ father and waved. Walking beside him and dragging her suitcase was Chris. He noticed she had cut her hair as well. Akaya didn’t want to cause a scene at the airport, but his legs seemed to have a mind of their own as they rushed him towards the unsuspecting girl. Chris looked up barely in time to catch him in a breathtaking hug. Several heads turned.

A woman mumbled to her friend, “Isn’t that cute? Such young love.”

Akaya blushed as he pulled away. “Welcome back,” he said sheepishly.

Chris smiled. “It’s good to be back.”

Her father cleared his throat. “I’ll just go get the rest of our luggage, sweetie,” he said. “You two catch up.” He walked away, leaving the two in an awkward silence.

“Um…I got you flowers,” Akaya muttered. He held them out for her.

“Thanks,” she replied, taking them and sniffing them. “They’re nice.” Another long pause. “So…”

He took her into another hug. “I missed you so damn much,” he whispered against her ear.

“Me too, Akaya,” she said as she hugged him back. “You have no idea how much I missed you.”

“Yuushi, it’s very difficult for me to concentrate on math equations when your foot is molesting my leg,” Hitomi said crossly.

Her cousin smirked at her. The two were studying in Hitomi’s room, away from the prying eyes from their parents. Hitomi really wanted to study. Yuushi did not. He was living up to his ‘crafty’ name. The two were sitting on Hitomi’s bed, so his foot had enough distance to do whatever it wanted. At the moment it was stroking her leg.

“Are those math equations really so interesting that you would ignore me?” he teased.

“Don’t push me.” His foot pushed her. “Oh, real cute, Yuushi.” He chuckled. “Why do I bother myself with you?”

He leaned across the bed so that he was inches from her face. “I don’t know, Hitomi. Perhaps you need a…reminder.” His lips lightly brushed against hers. His soft, gentle kiss became much more when he felt Hitomi bite his lower lip and delve her tongue into his mouth. His arms came to rest on her waist as he pulled her closer to himself. His hand traveled up her thigh and up a skirt. He broke the kiss and breathed deeply. “Remember now?” he said smirking.

Hitomi moaned and arched her back. “Not quite,” she said playfully. She then brushed his hair away from his neck and kissed him at the base. Yuushi groaned happily and threw his head back.

“No fair,” he mumbled.

She smiled. “Life’s not fair,” she replied.

They would have continued if they hadn’t heard the footsteps signaling that someone was headed towards Hitomi’s room. They broke apart quickly and groomed themselves so that they looked presentable. The door opened and in stepped Hitomi’s mother. “Dinner’s ready, you two,” she said.

“Okay, Okaa-san,” Hitomi answered. “We’re almost done studying.”

“Good. See you downstairs when you’re finished.”

“Yep.”

As soon as she left, Yuushi took Hitomi into his arms and kissed her. “Have I ever told you how much I love you, Hitomi?” he mumbled.

She blushed. “I’ve lost count.” She reached up to remove his glasses. His dark blue eyes stared at her hungrily. “We’ve still got roughly five minutes before we have to go eat dinner, you know.”

He smirked. “I like the way you think.”

“Skyler, who is that waving to you over there?”

“What is he wearing? Are those frills?”

Skyler felt embarrassed beyond anything when her friends and her had exited the mall, only to see (guess who) waiting outside for her. Sure, Keigo had told her he’d be visiting. He had just failed to mention when. Apparently showing up out of the blue was a favorite past time of his.

“He’s um…my boyfriend,” she answered. Her friends gaped at her.

“Seriously? Wow, he’s actually kinda hot.”

“And those frills suit him.”

Suddenly their opinion of him changed. Atobe literally pranced up to her, smiling happily. “Skyler, surprised to see me?”

“You have no idea,” she said through gritted teeth. “I thought you weren’t coming for another week.”

“Well, I would have, but I just wanted to see you so badly.”

“Aww! Skyler, your boyfriend is so sweet!”

“Why doesn’t my boyfriend travel from a foreign country to come see me?”

“Uh, Dalilah, that’s because your boyfriend lives here.”

“Shut up. It’s the thought that counts.”

Atobe seemed amused. “Your friends?” he asked.

Skyler sighed. “Yeah. Dalilah, Shivone, this is Keigo.”

He bowed his head. “I hope you two can excuse us; Skyler and I need to talk.” He took her hand in his and directed her towards his waiting limo.

“Keigo, showing up in England out of the blue in a frilly shirt isn’t exactly a turn on for me,” Skyler grumbled.

“This shirt is nice,” he argued.

“Yeah, for a woman maybe.”

He grinned. “Does that mean you want me to take it off?”

“Yes…I mean no.” She blushed crimson. “You prat.”

Atobe tapped her nose playfully. “Don’t lie, Sky.”

His smirk made her want to punch him. They crawled into his limo. Before Skyler could even utter another word, Atobe’s mouth had pressed to hers. He pulled her down on top of him, still kissing her. Skyler broke the kiss and stared down at him. “That felt nice,” she said. “But seriously, this shirt needs to go.”

He didn’t stop her as she unbuttoned the delicate material. It fell off his body like water, gently rippling down before it landed on the floor. She let her hands roam up his chest before lowering her mouth to his navel. Her tongue dipped inside and he chuckled. “That tickles,” he muttered. She surprised him by unzipping his pants. Her tongue went lower until it reached the waistband of his boxers. She gave his cock a squeeze before zipping him back up and sitting down as if nothing had happened. “You’re a horrible tease,” he complained.

“I know.”

Mizuki didn’t particularly like how friendly Bonnie was with Yuuta. Not that he had anything against his fellow teammate. Mizuki was fiercely possessive and hated when other boys looked at Bonnie. Their relationship was fragile and delicate and he knew he was in danger of losing her. Lately he had been paying more attention to his school activities rather than spending time with Bonnie. He knew he shouldn’t feel guilty since she told him that she was fine with what he was doing.

But he was worried. He had seen her look so sad when he told her that afternoon that they couldn’t go out like they had planned. He didn’t like seeing girls sad or upset. It made him feel so helpless. He scowled when he realized that Bonnie was probably with Yuuta now. It should have been him comforting her and laughing with her. Her time in Japan was limited. He knew she’d be going back to Ireland at some point. That thought hadn’t crossed his mind in a long time. But now that it had, Mizuki was very worried.

He cared about Bonnie very much. He didn’t want to lose her. He’d been somewhat happy since she had come into his life. His whole family had noticed a difference in his attitude. He was grateful to the brunette. But now…

The data collector reached into his pocket for his cell phone. He dialed Bonnie’s number and waited.

“Hello?” he heard her answer.

“Hey, it’s me,” he replied.

“Hey. What’s up?”

“I’m going to skip the activities today. I was hoping we could still do something tonight.”

“I’d like that. Anything specific?”

“I want to surprise you.”

He heard her chuckle. “Okay then. Where do you wanna meet?”

“The park near St. Rudolph.”

“All right. I’ll see you later, Hajime.”

Mizuki bit his lip and mumbled. “Yeah. See you later.”

Tonya wasn’t sure what it was that was worrying Oishi so much. She knew he was a known worrier a lot of the time, but this was plain ridiculous. “Syuichiroh, what’s wrong?” she asked.

“Eiji said he and Shiori-chan did something…something really good. He wouldn’t tell me though.” If he had more hair, she was sure he’d be yanking it out in frustration. “Then he told me to ask you to do what Shiori-chan did but I don’t know what she did!”

“Don’t dwell so much on it. It’s probably nothing. This is Eiji we’re talking about.”

His green eyes softened. “I know. But you didn’t see him, Tonya. He was so excited.”

“And that’s a new development?” she said sarcastically. “Isn’t he always excited?”

“Yes, but this time it was different. He was excited about something other than the normal stuff.”

“Maybe I should ask Shiori.”

“No! I don’t want to pry. It’s their relationship. Still…”

Tonya leaned over to kiss his cheek. “I love you, Syuichiroh. Really. But please calm down.”

“I can’t,” he sighed. “You know me. It’s impossible for me to calm down when something like this happens.”

“Look, I’m gonna ask Shiori later, okay?”

Oishi eventually nodded, though he looked pained. “Tell me when you find out.”

“Sure thing.”

***

“Um…Shiori?” Tonya asked walking up to her friend.

“Yeah?”

“I need to ask you something. Syuichiroh’s been slaving over this all day and if he doesn’t find out soon, I’m pretty sure he’s gonna go ballistic.”

Shiori laughed. “So what is it?”

“I guess Eiji came up to Syuichiroh all excited today and saying that you did something great for him or whatever. I just wanna know what you did.”

Shiori’s eyes widened. “Um…I don’t think you want to know.”

“What are you saying? Of course I do.”

“Tonya-chan…it’d be better if you didn’t know.”

“But—”

“Please.”

Tonya frowned. “Is it really bad?”

Shiori blushed. “I guess you could say that. I don’t even know what made me do it.” She took a deep breath and whispered into her friend’s ear.

Tonya paled before turning as red as her hair. “Y-You did that? Seriously?”

“Yeah. So I think Oishi is better off not knowing.”

She nodded. “I’ll just say that you didn’t do anything to Eiji.”

“You’ll be okay with lying to him?”

Tonya shrugged. “I’m protecting his worrying, virgin ears.”

Inui was the first to spot him. Yasu hadn’t seen Renji Yanagi in a long time, not since middle school. So it was no surprise that she didn’t recognize him. When Inui called him over, Yasu and Renji spent a good few seconds looking each other up and down. Yasu’s eyes widened behind her glasses and she gasped. “Renji-kun?”

He nodded with a smile as she launched herself into his arms for a hug. “It’s good to see you too, Yasu-chan,” he replied. “She hasn’t changed one bit, eh, Sadaharu?”

Inui pushed his glasses further onto his nose. “Not really.”

“That’s rude. Of course I’ve changed,” Yasu grumbled. “I’m taller, aren’t I? My hair’s shorter now too.”

“He meant your personality, Yasu,” Inui answered.

“Oh.” The purple-haired girl blushed. “So…how have you been, Renji-kun?”

“I’ve been well. Yourself?”

“Studying for exams, you know.”

“Aa.”

Yasu felt very small standing next to her childhood friends. Both boys had grown to incredible heights over the years, while she was barely up to their shoulders. She bit her lip uncertainly before grabbing both their hands and pulling them down the sidewalk.

“Yasu, where are you taking us?” Inui asked.

She turned and smiled. “To our favorite spot.”

Renji and Inui exchanged looks before smiling fondly at her. They each tightened their hold on her hands as they walked.

***

Oishi wasn’t sure what to think when he saw Tonya walking towards him. She looked…embarrassed. This of course made him more curious to know what Shiori had done to make Eiji so happy. If it could make Tonya look embarrassed…

“Well?” he asked. “What did she say?”

Tonya blushed. “Nothing. She didn’t do anything.”

He frowned. “Tonya.”

“Y-Yes?”

“Why are you lying?”

She gulped. “You’d be better off not knowing, Syuichiroh.”

“Why?” Then he remembered what Eiji had said. “Would you show me then?”

Tonya nearly choked. “W-What? I-I can’t!”

He gave her a firm look. “Tonya, I need to know.”

Fuji wasn’t sure what it was about Sapphire that interested him. When she had first come to Seigaku, they hadn’t gotten along. She openly declared her hatred for him and he countered that hatred with his unflinching smile. He hadn’t liked her either. That was why he found it ironic that they were walking together in the park, holding hands and just enjoying each other’s company.

Sapphire seemed nervous. Which was odd, since she was never nervous about anything. Fuji couldn’t understand why she was still blushing when they came to relax under a tree. “Tsukino-san?” he asked. She glanced up before lowering her head again to stare at her feet. Fuji frowned. “Am I making you uncomfortable?”

“No, of course not,” she replied while avoiding his gaze.

He opened his eyes and brought his face inches from hers. Sapphire gasped and tried to back away. He placed his hands on her cheeks and brought their lips together softly. “There’s no reason for you to be nervous, Tsukino-san,” he said smiling. “I like you. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t.”

She blushed again. “T-Thanks, Fuji.”

That's all I've written for now. Now for the new ficcy.

“Where’s Sakaki-sensei?” Ootori asked as the tennis team prepared for practice. “He told us he’d be here today.”

“He left a message in his office,” Atobe shrugged. “He said he had to go take care of some business or something and that he’d be back later.”

“Business?” Oshitari repeated. “I wonder what’s so important to him?”

“Does it matter? Everyone start running laps. Now!”

“Hai…”

***

Sakaki Asami felt a smile reach across her face when she saw her uncle. “Uncle Taro!” she cried, running towards him.

He gave her tender smile and embraced her. “It’s good to see you, Asami,” he said. “How have you been?”

She shrugged. “All right, I guess. It feels good to get away from my parents for awhile.”

Taro frowned. “Are they still—”

“C’mon, didn’t you say you wanted to introduce me to some people, Uncle?”

Sakaki sighed. Asami wanted to avoid talking about her parents and he really couldn’t blame her. Still…he didn’t want his brother’s daughter to be miserable. She was only sixteen, for godssake.

***

“Sakaki-sensei, you made it!” Ootori said. “We were beginning to worry.”

“I wasn’t about to skip your practice,” he answered firmly. “Everyone assemble on the court. There’s someone I would like you all to meet.”

“Aa~?” Atobe drawled. “Ore-sama doesn’t have time for this.”

“Stand and be quiet, Atobe,” Sakaki ordered. Atobe scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. The other regulars snickered that Atobe had been told off. “Asami, you can come out now.”

A tall girl with short sandy-colored hair and chocolate brown eyes came up beside Sakaki. She was wearing a black tank-top and boy jean shorts along with sneakers. The regulars gaped. Who was this strange girl? “Yo!” she greeted.

“Sakaki-sensei, who is this?” Shishido asked.

“You don’t think she’s his…you know?” Gakuto mumbled.

“Mukahi-senpai!” Ootori said angrily. “Sakaki-sensei would never—”

Sakaki cleared his throat. “This is Sakaki Asami.” The boys’ eyes widened. “She is my niece.”

“EEEEEHHH???”

Asami chuckled. “These guys are cute, Uncle.”

Several of the boys blushed furiously. “Asami will be attending the high school, but she will be helping out during your practices as well.”

“We don’t need help,” Atobe stated. “Na, Kabaji?”

“Ossu.”

“Really?” Asami challenged. She jumped down from the bleachers and walked up to Atobe. She was an inch or so taller than him. “Someone hand me a racket, will ya?” The closest person gave her a racket. She gave a few practice swings before grabbing a ball off the ground. She threw it up into the air a couple times before turning towards the courts. She threw the ball high and jumped. Her racket smashed the ball, sending it over two full courts at high speed. Everyone was silent as she smirked and turned back around to look at Atobe. “I think you do need help, kid.”

Kid?! Atobe snapped. “Anyone can do that,” he scoffed. “Na, Kabaji?”

“Ossu.”

Asami frowned. “Uncle, I think this one’s gonna need some discipline,” she called.

“Do whatever you see fit, Asami. They’re your responsibility now.”

“Her responsibility?” Atobe snarled. “We aren’t children, Sakaki.”

“You are,” the older man retorted. “Asami is older than you by two years and has more experience. You’ll learn a lot from her.”

“Che.”

“The rest of you better be on your best behavior for her. Or I will hear of any problems.”

Asami grinned and put her hands on her hips. “All right, boys! Just ‘cause I’m his niece, doesn’t mean I’m gonna be a pushover! He’s taught me everything I know and I plan to double that knowledge when helping you guys practice! Any questions?”

Jiroh raised his hand slowly. “What are we supposed to call you? Sakaki-sensei would be weird…”

“Ah, just call me Asami-san. That clear, everyone?”

“Hai!”

***

“She’s tough,” Oshitari mumbled after everyone went to change in the locker room.

“She’s gonna end up killing me,” Gakuto whined. “I couldn’t breathe after she made me run all those laps.”

“She’s trying to help you conquer your stamina problem, Mukahi-senpai,” Ootori explained.

“I know, but still…”

“She doesn’t seem to like Atobe all that much,” Shishido said with a grin.

He could see the captain stiffen in the corner of the locker room. “Ore-sama doesn’t care for her either,” he spat coolly. He pulled his jersey up over his head and threw it into his bag.

“It’s a shame she wears those long shorts,” Oshitari sighed. “An athletic girl like her would have marvelous legs…”

“Is that all you can think about, Oshitari?” Atobe growled. “I don’t understand why Sakaki dumped her on us anyway. She’s nothing special.”

“Is that so?”

All the boys whirled around to see Asami standing before them, a huge grin on her face.

“W-What are you doing in here?!” Atobe managed to shout. “This is a boys’ locker room!”

“I know,” she replied airily. “It’s not like I’ve never seen a shirtless boy before. Jeez.”

Several of the regulars flushed red. “You’re not allowed in here!” Atobe snapped.

“I’m in here, aren’t I?”

The others could sense Atobe’s anger. “A-Atobe-senpai, it’s fine,” Ootori mumbled. “She’s not bothering anyone.”

“She’s bothering me,” he hissed. “I want you out of here, Sakaki.”

Asami raised her eyebrows. “You can’t order a senpai around, Atobe-kun.” He twitched at the nickname. “I’ve been warned about you by my uncle. He said you’d be stubborn. For once, I had hoped he’d be wrong, but oh well. We’ll just have to work on your manners while I help out here, won’t we?”

“My manners are fine!”

“Not from where I’m standing, kid.”

“I am not a kid!”

Asami smirked and flicked his forehead playfully. “Yes you are. Now get changed. You’re not that great to look at.”

She left without another word. Atobe’s face was crimson red, either out of anger or embarrassment, no one knew. The other regulars knew not to make any comments about what just happened. They quietly continued dressing. Once Atobe had finished and left the locker room, they each glanced at each other.

“Can you believe she actually told Atobe off like that?” Gakuto laughed. “I’ve never seen him so pissed.”

“Atobe will not take this lying down,” Oshitari mumbled. “His pride is not something to trample on.”

“Asami-san is a bit…” Ootori started, unsure of what to say.

“Straightforward and honest?” Shishido supplied. “To tell you the truth, Atobe had it coming to him. He kept badmouthing her. I mean, she’s related to Sakaki-sensei. Does he really think she’s useless?”

“You know how Atobe’s mind works,” Oshitari said. “He perceives her as a threat and will automatically lash out.”

“Asami-san doesn’t realize what she’s getting herself into,” Ootori said sadly.

“Oh I think she does,” Shishido smiled. “Sakaki-sensei has told her about all of us, so she knows exactly what she’s getting herself into.”

“Atobe will be an obstacle,” Oshitari added. “But I’m sure Asami-san can handle him.”

***

“What do you think of them?” Taro asked his niece on the drove home.

“They’re loud, obnoxious, and talented,” she replied. “For junior high school students. I’ve never seen such talent in kids that young. It’s amazing.”

“How about individually?”

“I didn’t get to work with all them yet, but for the ones I did work with today…Mukahi-kun seems like a lot of fun. He’s lacking in stamina, but I’m sure I can help him with that. Jiroh-kun is an amazing player when he’s not sleeping. I’m not sure there’s anything I can do that’ll make him stay awake more during practices. Ootori-kun’s serves are really good, but the control needs some work. He seems to be the nicest guy on the whole team, from what I could tell.”

“And what about Atobe?”

Asami scowled. “He’s such a typical rich boy.”

“He’s talented, Asami.”

“Oh, I have no doubts there. There’s no possible way he could have that big an ego if he wasn’t talented. He just needs to tone it down a bit. Who’s he trying to impress being like that?”

Sakaki shrugged. “Atobe has always been like that, ever since his first year at Hyotei. You’ll get used to it.”

“I can’t stand people like him though. You know that, Uncle.”

He nodded. “I know. But give him a chance. He may surprise you.”

Asami shrugged. “Whatever you say.”

***

The servants didn’t know what to do when their young master returned home in an angry huff. He immediately stomped up to his room and slammed the door shut. Needless to say, they were worried for his health. The butler that had known Keigo the longest carefully knocked on the young master’s door and waited.

“What?!” Atobe snapped.

“U-Um, young master Keigo, is there something wrong?”

The door flung open to reveal a disheveled Atobe Keigo. His eyes were narrowed dangerously. “What do you think?”

“D-Did something happen at your tennis practice?”

“That damn coach…dumping his damn niece on us…” he mumbled.

The butler’s eyes widened. “Sakaki-sama? Did Sakaki-sama do something, Keigo-sama?”

“Yeah, he did!” the boy growled. “He brought his stupid niece with him so now she’s going to be helping out at our practices.”

“O-Oh.”

“She has no respect for me either. Just because she happens to be older than me doesn’t give her any right to be so familiar with me!”

“Of course, young master.”

“I’ll show her just how good I am. Ore-sama doesn’t need her help. Sakaki Asami will be awed by the sight of my prowess!”

The butler knew that whoever this Sakaki Asami was, she would be in for a rough time. Atobe Keigo wasn’t a pushover and wasn’t to be taken lightly.

***

“Are you guys girls?! C’mon, pick up the pace!”

Oshitari could feel his legs starting to cry out in agony. At first he had liked the idea of having Asami help the team. Now he was having second thoughts. She was ruthless with her training. “Yuushi, I’m gonna die!” Gakuto cried as he collapsed on the ground. “I see the light!”

“For godssake, Mukahi-kun!” Asami grumbled as she came onto the court. “You’re not dying! The only light you see is the sun, got that?”

“Hai…”

She handed him a water bottle. “Here, drink this.”

“A-Arigatou…”

“With all due respect, Asami-san,” Ootori panted. “Don’t you think you’re pushing us a little too much?”

“What was that, Ootori-kun?” she said sweetly.

The others glared at him. “N-Nothing.”

“Good. Now get back out there and continue running laps. You’re not done until I say you are.” She glanced around. “And where the hell is Atobe?” The other regulars looked around. Where WAS Atobe? Asami clenched her fists. “If he decides to show up, he’s running double what you guys are!”

Everyone winced.

“She’s a slave-driver,” Jiroh groaned as he tried to stay awake and run.

“Why does Mukahi-san get to sit on the bench?” Hiyoshi growled.

“He lost his energy,” Oshitari replied. “Asami-san gave him some water to help replenish his stamina.”

“No fair,” Jiroh whimpered. “I want some water.”

“Did I hear that right?” Asami called. “You guys want water?”

“Yes, ma’am!”

“Then come get it! I didn’t forbid you from getting water. I’m not that cruel.”

The regulars looked at each other in exasperation. She opened up the cooler and watched as all the boys reached in for an ice-cold water bottle.

“This tastes like heaven!” Jiroh said happily.

“I don’t think I’ve ever wanted water so much in my entire life,” Ootori said softly. He took a large gulp and smiled. “Arigatou, Asami-san.”

“Don’t mention it, Ootori-kun,” she replied. She looked down at her wristwatch and scowled. “Okay this is getting ridiculous! Atobe is not getting special treatment from me just because he’s the captain! I swear, the nerve of that guy!”

“Aa~? Did you say something, Sakaki?” The familiar drawl caused everyone to turn their heads towards the bleachers. There stood Atobe, looking like a proud king. Asami was livid. She climbed up the bleachers and towered over him. “Yes?” Atobe sneered.

“Get down there and run 100 laps!” she ordered.

“Ore-sama doesn’t feel like it,” he shrugged.

“Oh? Too bad! You’re the captain, Atobe!”

“Right. As the captain, I shouldn’t have to practice the same way as the others.”

Asami counted to ten in her head. “You are a brat, Atobe Keigo. A spoiled brat.”

He rolled his eyes. “Think up something more original, Sakaki.”

“Atobe, stop antagonizing her!” Shishido shouted. “You’re only digging a deeper hole for yourself!”

“Thank you, Shishido-kun,” Asami said. She turned back to Atobe. “You have five minutes to get down on the court and start running.”

“And if I don’t?”

“My uncle will hear of your insubordination to me. I’ll let him deal a punishment.”

Atobe’s eyes widened a fraction. He puffed out his cheeks angrily before stomping down the bleachers and removing his jacket. He made sure his shoes were tied tightly and began running. Asami smiled as she slowly walked down to join the others.

“I’m sorry about that guys, but rules are rules,” she stated. “He showed up late.”

“So what are we doing today, Asami-san?” Ootori asked curiously.

“I’m going to talk with the other players that I didn’t get to see yesterday. I need to get a feel for all of you and how you guys play. So who haven’t I spoken with yet?” Oshitari, Hiyoshi, Shishido, and Kabaji raised their hands. “Okay, I’ll start with you, Oshitari-kun.” The Hyotei tensai nodded and went to get his racket from his bag. “Everyone else, hold practice matches against each other!”

Asami walked over to Oshitari. “So…do you think I was a little too hard today?” she mumbled. Oshitari blinked in shock. “I’m still new to all this…I don’t want you guys hating me or anything.”

“Nonsense, Asami-san,” he replied. “To tell you the truth, Atobe can sometimes be the same way when he’s in a foul mood.”

“I see.” Her expression turned dark.

“Not that I’m trying to compare you to him or anything,” he said quickly.

She didn’t reply immediately. “Your accent…is Kansai, right?”

Oshitari stared at her for a few minutes. “Uh…yes.”

“I only ask because my mother has the same accent. When did you come to Tokyo?”

“A year or so ago.”

“Ah. Anyway…” She studied his form and applauded his style. “I can see why they call you a tensai, Oshitari-kun. You’re good at planning ahead.”

“Arigatou, Asami-san.”

She continued to smile. “If you don’t stop trying to see my legs, Oshitari-kun, I may have to hurt you.”

He blushed slightly. “Right. Sorry.” He walked away as Shishido brushed past him towards Asami.

“So you’re the Shishido Ryou-kun that my uncle mentioned, huh?” Asami said grinning.

“What’s he told you?” the dash specialist asked.

“That you’re a determined young man. I want to see some of this determination.”

Shishido felt his cheeks burn. “H-Hai.”
