Photos of or by ME
I wish this thing wasn't html but anyway. Here are some linkies to some pics of me or ones I took in Spain.


Photo from Spain 01 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - This picture was taken by one of my teachers, but it's still a beautiful picture in my opinion. This is me with the four other guys that were traveling with me. We're standing in front of a monument erected in front of the Royal Palace. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures inside the palace but I did get some amazing pictures of the courtyard and of the cathedral across from it. This happened the first day we arrived in Madrid, so I was extremely tired.


Photo from Spain 02 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - This was a picture I took of the royal gardens...well, part of them. I really like how it came out. The sun was at a good angle so it gives the picture a very calm and peaceful feel.

Photo from Spain 05 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - Well...um...this picture is SUPPOSED to be from the armory in Madrid. It's a man in armor atop a horse. We were told no flash was allowed inside the armory...so this is what happened when I took the picture without the flash. It came out looking like it was melting in the air or on fire. Because it's so weird and yet cool at the same time, I kept it to show others. And I think it's worthy of being posted here, for its sheer oddity.

Photo from Spain 07 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - We went to the Real Madrid Club de Futbol stadium in Madrid. This is only part of the enormous stadium that I was able to get. I wanted a pic that demonstrated how big this stadium actually is. Did I succeed?


Photo from Spain 08 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - We went to the Prado Museum in Madrid as well, which was a dream come true. I got to see so many amazing paintings. I took this picture of the monument in front of the museum because Diego Velazquez is one of my favorite Spanish artists. If you haven't, look up his more popular piece "Las Meninas". It's my favorite painting by him.


Photo from Spain 09 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - No more pics from Madrid. These next few are from a town called Cordoba, where we stopped before heading to Sevilla. This is a pic of the Catedral de Cordoba, that we did go into and I did take pictures of. It's a beautiful cathedral/mosque.

He just walked up and was like: "You want photo?" and I said yes so he had us pose, took the pic and was all: "Muy bonita! Perfecto!" then handed me back my camera, kissed us both on the cheek (I blushed, cuz he was really cute) and then walked away. =P I love Spanish men, hehe

Photo from Spain 18 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - And here's my group in the Plaza de España. For those unfamiliar with the plaza, just note that it has sections of every province in Spain. This one we stopped at had Madrid, so we all sat down and had one of the other group members take the picture for us. I'm kinda...hiding, lol. The detail in the architecture was amazing. I wanted to stay in the plaza all day, but the gypsies were starting to flock there and yeah. I got nervous around them.

Photo from Spain 15 by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - This is a photo I took of the famous La Torre del Oro, or The Tower of Gold. I won't write the story behind this tower here. If you're really interested, I'm sure you can find the info online or in a book. I'm very proud with this picture. It came out so clear and it looks nice against the blue sky.


2006 Pride Week Collage by ~Darkfire75 on deviantART - I did this 2006 Pride Week (event that goes on during March at my school) collage in my Digital Image Prep class. I was just fiddling around with different tools and this is the result. I got pics mostly of the seniors from the field event day. Class of '06 won! Yeah! Go us! That pic of the two happy people running with the Pride Week banner our the senior class representives...my classmates...and all the seniors (including myself) jumped down from the stands and acted like lunatics cuz after 4 years of losing Pride Week, we finally WON. It's a big thing at my school. Plus, we almost lost to the sophomores. How embarrassing. Anyway, it's not a masterpiece, but it's cool so I thought it'd be worth sharing.
